New Review: I had this clinic at 4 stars because I found it a bit pricey but I should have changed it from 4 stars to 5 stars as a few years ago after they had saved my cat's life which is more priceless than any amount of money. Thank you. Old Review: Definitely a higher end vet clinic, but with that being said, the prices reflect that as well, unfortunately. If you have the money and want the best for your pet, then it's definitely the place to go.

Great place to take your furry loved ones! We were treated very well and our dog just loves the staff!! We couldn't be happier with the service and it is definatley money that is well spent. Very professional and they really go out of their way to explain everything and make it a positive experience for your pet.They even helped us with getting our pet insurance set up. By far the worst experience I've had with a veterinarian. Recently moved to Kitchener and was referred by locals that Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital was a great place to bring your pets. WORST MISTAKE I could have made. Vet was extremely unfriendly and could not tolerate my two small dogs (cockapoo and mini poodle) barking from time to time due to being in a new place with new people. Typical dog behaviour. When she examined my mini poodle she informed me that she was unable to see the inside of her ears clearly, along with being unable to get a good look at her eyes and suggested she bring her to the back room to have a better look. Only after my dog was brought back to the examination room after being examined in the back room, the vet informed me that taking my dog to the back room is an additional $100 on top of the regular examination fee. Very unprofessional!!! If I had been informed that "the back room" was an extra cost I would have said no. Very money hungry. Vet kept insisting I purchase multiple expensive medications for my dog, insisted I bring my dogs in for teeth cleaning and informed me that my mini poodle who is 13 yrs would be perfectly fine under anesthetic after being informed by many vets previously that putting an older dog under anesthesia is very highly problematic and can be fatal. All she cared about was getting my money and booking my next appointment. So glad that once I refused to pay the extra fee they refused to provide service for my pets anymore. Definitely not a loss ! Do not bring your pets here. She is not a people or animal person!

This was our first experience with Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital and it was a very positive. Dr. Dee Croft was very thorough in examining our dog, administering his shot and answering all of the questions I had as we enter into the second decade with out pooch, Maurice. It was a very pleasant experience.

Friendly staff. Clean and calm lobby area. My cat is very timid and Dr. Cowper was excellent with him. She showed me tips on how to put him in his carrier and also how to clip his nails.

Have been taking my little guy Congo here since I got him and they are Incredibly, kind and gentle with him. I never feel like I am in a rush when I am in one of the offices with the veterinarians. The front desk staff is also kind,welcoming and friendly. The vet techs are also amazing honestly I have never had a problem and will trust them all of my future pets

Every single person I have ever interacted with at Chicopee Hills over the past 9+ years has been professional, friendly, compassionate and they know what they're doing. The vet appointments are never rushed and feel thorough and I love that they truly care how my pets - and myself - are feeling. They go above and beyond. I don't live as close anymore, but they are worth the drive!

I hesitate to even give this place 1 star. The newest vet is absolutely horrible. She is careless, not compassionate whatsoever, nor does she address the long term quality of life for our pets. Disrespectful, disgusting way to treat our fur babies. Do NOT give this place your business. They need to be called out on the shoddy treatment given to pet owners, but more importantly, the horrendous "care" they claim to provide to the animals in need.

Everyone is absolutely wonderful at Chicopee Hills vet. When we moved to the area we took a chance on Dr. Cowper and have not been disappointed once. She goes above and beyond for our dog (Molly). Molly suffers from severe stomach issues and Dr. Cowper always presents us with different options for treatment and the pros and cons to each. She never forces us into any decision, just provides her opinion and the reasons why. We had concerns about the actual ingredients in Molly's food and Dr. Cowper went out of her way to find a lab where we could have the food analyzed. As for Dr. Cowper's bedside manner...wonderful. She's caring and compassionate towards our sweet Molly. The rest of the staff are on par with Dr. Cowper, they are all friendly and helpful. Whenever we have to leave Molly for the day I know the staff will snuggle with her and give her lots of attention. Not to mention they send us updates (and pics) throughout the day. We are very lucky to have Chicopee Hills vet!

The vets here are great with pets and genuinely love animals. The prices are comparable to others I've seen in the region (probably a bit cheaper than other multi-vet practices). The receptionists do, however, try to upsell on their food which I dislike; the vet food is generally higher priced and lower in nutrients than what I typically feed my pet (probably equivalent to about Iams in a pet store, but way more expensive).

My dog had an anal gland rupture which was told probably needs to get flushed out but was told should probably try antibiotics for a couple of weeks see if it gets better before procedure, of course I say yes to see that rather than have to put my pup under for this ..........90$ worth meds!! seemed good tho the 2 week supply of meds didn't work so called back and said I need to book the flush since meds didn't work(which now I see was a money grab after seeing videos thus should have been done in the first place) Dr Croft then says they need to see my dog again to exam! WTH do you need to see the dog again and have me pay 70 bucks for an exam to proceed when absolutely everything is the same as 2 weeks prior, scam scam scam....watch out ppl I was told this place had shady stuff going on before but was nieve to find out for myself I guess

They took great care of my darling boy Not Spot (rat) very polite and professional knowledgeable about rats..They even called a few days later to check on Not Spot to see if he was feeling better From now on my babies including my cats and dogs will only go see the vets at this place. Dr. Croft & Cowper, along with the team, are the most professional, fair, empathetic, and caring people. We have an Australian Shepard, a white short hair cat (16 years), and recently transitioned our 19.5 year old tuxedo short-hair cat, Cyrus to his forever rest, after a loving, and nurturing palliative regime, set out by Dr. Croft. Our other family members visit Chicopee Hills with our other family pets too, and we all just love the easy to understand approach this animal hospital has with their clients and patients. Nothing but trust, love, and a great appreciation from us, to have Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital as our Veterinarian Care Center.

First time dealing with this animal hospital and the doctor couldnt even answer a simple question like, after u do the tests of x-ray and blood I am gonna have another charge for the medication that my cat is gonna need and the doctor said that she couldnt tell me that. My worst experience dealing with an animal hospital.

I am writing this review to warn others to stay away from this vet. She is so incredibly rude and speaks to people as though they are worthless. I literally cant believe there is someone like this that works in a helping profession! My dogs are absolutely terrified of her and I will never bring them back. She refused to vaccinate our puppy because she was "over heated." My dog was panting as they pulled her into the appointment. It was horrible! Then she came out to tell us that we "seem agitated" and rudely accused us of not having an air conditioner and a faulty harness and that must be why she is over heated. Not only that she withheld our dog trying to pick a fight with us until we said we would call the police. This was the last straw after numerous appointments trying to get some sort of help from her (waste of time and money). She can't answer simple questions and said "I googled it and I think this is what it is." I hope no one else has to experience what we have. Just stay away.

Incredible veterinarian clinic!! My Yorkshire Terrier puppy, Roxy is taken care of by (primarily) Dr. Croft. All of the vets are so informative, friendly, and patient. They follow up with me a few days after her check ups to make sure all is well. Awesome clinic! Highly recommend taking your fur baby here :)

One of the best animal hospitals around! We've been taking our pup (Link) to the chicopee vet since he was weeks old. I drive 45 minutes out of my way just to bring my pup there. They're all so sweet and helpful, their always asking as many questions possible to make sure that they can diagnose what it is ailing your pet. The Dr's are always following up with phone calls after vet visits ???? to make sure all is well. Very highly recommended ???? ???????? ???? ????
