Kaylee gives you all the information and goes out of her way to ensure the best possible service for not only my dog but myself as an owner. She is very kind and it truly shows how much she cares about every aspect of her profession! Thank you Kaylee! Dr. Maryam is very knowledgeable and fantastic with my bully. I can tell she truly cares for her patients and owners, providing all available options to make an informed choice when it comes to the treatment of your pet. She spends the time to really investigate what is happening and was even able to diagnose a heart condition in my dog early enough that a change in diet may be the only thing required at this time. Thank you Dr. Maryam for the care and concern you show for my bulldog! Veterinary care can become quite expensive when trying to ensure your furrbaby is healthy.... especially if you own a English Bulldog like me. I have never walked away feeling like I was pushed into an expensive decision. In fact my experience has been quite the opposite with this clinic! So again thank you to ALL THE STAFF at Legacy Veterinary Clinic! You make such a huge difference in my dogs life and mine!

Our dog Brandy unfortunately has terrible seperation anxiety and hurt her tooth inside of her kennel. We were able to do a walk in the same day at the clinic, where they took very good care of her dispite her uncooperative dog attitude. She was a lot to handle, but they did it all so gracefully and with care. It's a very pleasant environment. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. They also took good care of my two pup. The vet herself was very informative. She answered all my questions and gave me some good tips. I like how she also handles my pup very gently even when he squirms around. The only thing that I didn't like though was that they ordered an antibiotic for my pup and promised me that the medication will be there the next day. I called the next day and they said it will come tomorrow just because they have to order it from glenmore landing compounding pharmacy. I asked if I can just get the prescription and get it myself but they said that it might be too late because the pharmacy might have started making it. So i waited and extra day. The next afternoon they are about to close but I still haven't received any call abt the medication being ready to pick up. So I called them they said that they should have received it today but they haven't. They called glenmore landing but they were close already. So I had to get the rx by email and go to a compounding pharmacy directly to get it that same day. But I love this clinic so still 5 stars for me. Haha

I have been going to this vet clinic for about 5 months now. I took my first kitten, Kai there and signed up for the kitten wellness plan (great value and super convenient). It includes everything a kitten needs to start their life out healthy and happy. Dr. Shane performed his neuter and did a great job, Kai is in great health! I recently got another kitten, Leo and am doing the same kitten wellness plan. I saw Dr. Shane again for his first check up and he is very professional and knowledgable. Was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. I recommend this clinic especially if you want to get your kitten or puppy on one of their wellness plans!

Dr. Maryam is amazing!!!! Not only does she offer exceptional care (she has seen our cat and dog for treatment and has also interacted with our kitten for a general checkup), but she goes above and beyond to offer helpful advice and to also calm our pets as much as possible. I took my stressed cat in for a last-minute appointment this past week and not only did Dr. Maryam assess and diagnose her, she also helped create a much more relaxing atmosphere in the cat carrier to ensure that my cat was not distressed going home. She gave me helpful resources to implement tools to make future vet visits (and travel) more enjoyable for my cat. Dr. Maryam also always follows up in the following day or two to check in on our pets, and provide additional information and advice if needed. Another fantastic service that Legacy Vet Clinic provides is that they will email you information and resources relevant to your vet visit (e.g., pamphlets on feline upper respiratory infections), along with your invoice, results of the visit and any tests done, and any other relevant information you may require. Linda, the Client Care Specialist, is also wonderful and accommodating (and at my last visit had some fantastic suggestions for training our kitten)!

Worst experience my dog has ever endured with a vet!! I booked her in for acupuncture and her back was actually so tight and too sore for the procedure, that she was yelping. Instead of maybe stopping the procedure, she was taken away from me and to the back where she endured more!!! Now she is traumatized and shakes, trembles when we went back to her original vet, All the trust and confidence she had is gone. Not all vets know what they are doing nor the damage they cause to our beloved.

I do not doubt the medical expertise of Dr. Maryam Jajouei, however, I did not appreciate the means by which she handled my dog or myself. I chose Legacy Veterinary Clinic with the understanding that they offered integrative and holistic options, and since my dog has a condition which makes the raw diet the most appropriate option for him, I thought switching to an integrative vet would hold some value. We came in for a consultation today to see about some tests and such. The reception and technicians were all beyond sweet and so friendly with me and my dog! The vet was a different story... My main issue with our appointment was the lack of communication and disregard for permission. My dog was not due for his vaccinations for another few weeks, and I did not intend to have them done today. I wanted to discuss Titer testing, 1 year vs 3 year vaccines, and wanted to have his vaccines staggered across separate appointments, as he is a rescue with an unknown allergy/tolerance history. I was never given the chance to express this, as before I was asked (or consented) needles were being put in my dog. I had to ask after the fact what the heck he was just vaccinated for, since I wasn't asked or told or given paperwork before everything was preped and going in... im not against vaccines, but I did want to have then given when due, and across different appointments. The prices where never mentioned, permission was never considered, and I felt as though I was expected to just not care since I'm not the vet. Next I asked to have his paw looked at since I thought he had a small wound from a rock or something, and when he yelped and pulled away from it being poked, the vet thought it was appropriate to smack him across the head for giving a warning (moving his head towards the hand, hardly any contact, no intention to harm, literally just an "ouch please don't touch there")... I don't care how hard the smack was, you DONT do that as a correction, especially in the context of fighting pain with more pain (as per the 2021 position statement on humane animal training from AVSAB). I'm sure she works great with animals under anesthesia, and it takes a lot to be a vet, but you have to be responsible with that authority, and earn the trust of your patients. All in all, we will not be returning, and if you're looking for an integrative or holistic vet, this is not the place. If you're looking to work along side your vet, this is not the place. If you're looking to be treated like you have more than an elementary school level education, this is not the place. If you're expecting to be briefed on medications and asked permission before they are administered, this is not the place. This was a very upsetting experience.

Our 65 pound dog gets nervous around strangers, especially when they carry things. He shows his fear by jumping in your face and barking very loudly. It has scared other vets to the point they don't want to care for him. Dr. Maryam and Alyssa were amazing with Gizmo and so calm. They gave him space when he needed it, lots of treats (even a super stuffed kong!), and lots of pets when he was ready for them. We had the calmest vet visit we've ever had. Gizmo only barked once. And now, every time we walk by he tries to pull me inside for another visit! To add to our wonderful experience at Legacy Vet Clinic, they followed up the appointment with an email detailing everything we talked about with clear instructions for our next steps. No need to try to remember everything. Legacy Vet Clinic is definitely our vet of choice from now on.

Dr. Maryam Jajouei is such a great Veterinarian. She always answers all of my questions and is so caring with my pup. Linda treats my puppy like one of her own from the minute we walk in the door. I really appreciate the follow up calls from Alyssa after the appointment. It just gives you a chance to ask questions you may have forgotten to ask at the time. I am very happy with the service provided.

This is a wonderful place to take your fur babies. They are compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, professional and extremely patient. My little puppy has been quite ill but he appears to be on the mend after his visit to the clinic. The vet interacted with him like he was her own dog. Everyone that works there cares for your animal with dignity and respect. I will be taking my cat in when necessary and I am extremely confident that he will receive the same loving care that my puppy did. This is an excellent choice for care for your fur babies and I recommend it highly. They also do alternative care and provide rehab services if required.

They are so compassionate to both animals and people. I had to leave my cat for dental surgery recently, and I appreciated that they kept in constant contact with me until I picked him up. I also appreciated getting a follow up call the next day. They also have options if your animal needs care and you can't afford it immediately. You can use PayBright and pay in installments and they will help you set it up so your animals can have care when they need it and you don't need to stress.

We take both of our fur babies here. After having issues at our previous vet for our kitty we got interested in their feline friendly services. We took her in 3 days after getting our 8wk old pup????????‍♀️ bad plan on our part because she was very stressed out to the point she wouldn't come out of her crate. She hissed, nipped and scratched the vet I felt awful, they never once made me feel bad just gave me options. We eneded up leaving her at the vet, they sedated her gave her the annual vaccines and called us to come get her. The next day they texted me (which I almost prefer as I am always busy and can't pick up the phone) asking if she was ok. A few months later we took our pup for a overall checkup to get flea and tick medication we had such a pleasant time. Since he is still growing we have had to go in monthly to get him weighed. My pup is always excited to go in . Makes me feel si much better about taking them both.

The staff at Legacy Vet Clinic are the most caring and compassionate animal lovers you could find! I came to their clinic a few years ago when my MerryCat fell I’ll. Everyone was so kind and patient as I was out of town and they had to deal with my mother in law until I got back (couldn’t get a different flight but the westjet person ended up crying apologizing lol). Then when we added some new fur babies to our family, we found the kitten/puppy plans! So not only do they go above and beyond (down to giving me the vets cell number in case Merry was too sick to wait until I got home), but they’re reasonably priced and truly try to put the animals and humans best interests ahead of the financials. I mean, everyone has to make a buck. But you can tell that money isn’t the reason they’re all doing it.

I Cannot say enough amazing things about Maryam, Alyssa & Linda. From the minute I walked into the clinic as a first time, very scared and frantic pet owner, they made me feel welcome and educated. They where sure to inform and educate me on little things I would have never thought to ask. Each time we go into the clinic they are so friendly and welcoming. Finnegan was neutered yesterday and they took amazing care of him while he was there, let him stay a little longer as I couldn't leave work. Texted me a photo of him recovering and let me know he was doing great. They called to check up on him once yesterday and once today already. They made us feel safe and good about his surgery. We heard about Legacy from someone who lives in our apartment complex. They’re pretty far from where we live but the drive is well worth it. We brought our 10.5 week old Mini Schnauzer Basil in because she had been vomiting and was lethargic. They tested for Parvo, ran some blood tests and when everything came back negative they sent us home with some medication and easily digestible food. Already our pup is doing so much better! The vet and technicians were very kind, knowledgeable and really helped make me feel like everything would be ok. Their puppy plan program is great, for our small breed dog it is under 100$ a month and really worth it even after just one visit! Thanks for your help guys :) see you soon!

I have been debating posting a review for Legacy Vet Clinic and have contacted Maryam but she is dismissive and doesn’t want to resolve this and has not even apologized for the terrible experience we had. Maryam (I refuse to use DR.) ran tests on my dog without consent from me. They took her to the back for her nail trim and exam as she was too “protective” of me. I asked Maryam how much the tests would be and her words “I will do the exam and then we will go from there.” Next thing I know she has brought my dog out with her ankle wrapped up and they had already taken her blood work. Maryam said that her exam was normal so I am not sure why she would run tests on my dog without my consent. I was told the first visit is complementary but when I asked Maryam what my bill was at, she added in the “complementary” visit and I had to remind her that I was told the first visit would be no charge for the exam. THIS WAS NOT A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION I would completely understand running tests if my dog was seriously ill but she was fine! Her exam went fine and Maryam decided to take her blood costing $190, I had told Maryam that she was acting like herself, she was playful, pooping, peeing just fine but she still decided to run the tests without my consent. My mother called her to discuss the appointment and how she took advantage of me, Maryam discussed this with my mom for 15 minutes then later decided she needed consent, when I gave her consent, she refused to discuss this with my mom. So, let me see, NO CONSENT TO SPEND $190 OF MY MONEY TO RUN UNNECESSARY TESTS ON MY DOG. Consent was given to discuss my account with my mom but that consent doesn’t mean anything. MARYAM NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONSENT AND NON-CONSENT. Attached is my dogs record from Legacy Vet, as you can see everything is normal BUT Maryam still decided to run blood work taking money from my pocket without consent. As stated before I have been trying to resolve this or at least get an apology since Monday but no avail, so here is my review. She took full advantage of my age and the situation. Edited to add: Mayam has stated that my description of what happened is incorrect, but she will not say what exactly is different and she keeps telling me to book an appointment to discuss.... probably so she can charge me for an appointment. I'm not sure how she can say my description of events has "major differences" than her and her teams recollection. They ran a test without my consent simple as that.

Let me start off by saying that Dr. Maryam and her team are top notch! It was our first visit to Legacy vet I was impressed by their professionalism and overall kindness. Dr Maryam takes an integrated approach to address the root issue and is "RAW friendly," which we really like & is what initially stood out for us. The clinic and staff came recommended to us and we can sure see why! Brittney greeted us & made us feel very welcome from our arrival. She reviewed Maddy's medical history and helped make our nervous pup feel a bit more at ease :) Dr Maryam's dedication to the overall health and wellness of pets is aparent by her kind nature and approach. i got a puppy that took a shot from this vet and just turned out very inflamed for weeks and made a bald spot from the reaction from the vaccine. and now the patch is like a dime size turned keloids and now longer grows hair. We were looking for a new vet that was knowledgable on giant breeds. This vet was recommended to me and I can see why! When getting there their Covid procedures were perfect and safe. They were very warm and welcoming to both me and my dog. Both the vet tech and vet were so helpful with the questions I had, and both were incredibly patient with my nervous boy. They answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. My last vet didn't seem to be very knowledgeable on giant breeds and the care they require. Here I felt like there was more experience and knowledge on the breeds. I will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love Dr. Maryam! I had taken my dog to another vet on emergency and completely regretted it. I am glad and soooo thankful that Dr. Maryam was able to help my dog after the other vet let him get so sick he got pneumonia. One thing I love is that they have a white board in each room where she will will write your treatment plan options, so that you have a visual and a CLEAR explanation of what is wrong and ways to move forward. She also talks about costs before moving forward if you need her to. She is so patient, kind and loving and I feel so comfortable with my pets In her care. The rest of the team is always lovely and kind to our pets as well and I never feel like a bother when I come in. They are great about following up and helping us out as needed. Over all good experience but after being told my wife's cat needed 1800-2000.00 worth of dental work and no vaccines that were required my wife and I decided we needed a second opinion and the second vet made sure to ask about certain vaccinations that the cat required for his age and second doctor found possibly only 2 back teeth needed attention and to monitor teeth and how our cat acts and when we are ready to bring him in for 400-600.00 of work for the teeth . Dr. Maryam was wonderful with both Sasha and I, she is very friendly, knowledgeable and empathetic. We went back to see her again this year when Sasha had an IVDD flare up and the entire team at Legacy was fantastic, welcoming and helpful. Legacy Veterinary Clinic has been AMAZING! I live out near Cochrane and it is almost an hour drive to the clinic, but the extra travel time is well worth it! The team there has been very patient with my boy Lobo, he has given them a run for their money every time we visit....he is anxious and stubborn! Sorry about that guys!! Dr Maryam is very knowledgeable and very thorough. After being told by a previous vet that my dog had hyperthyroid and was on a daily medication Dr. Maryam ran some tests and was able to confirm that he did not have any issues at all with his thyroid! Dr. Maryam calls after each visit to see how he is doing and if there is any concerns, I certainly did not get that from my last vet. They have been very accommodating squeezing me in for last minute appointments and calling in Rx to the pharmacy near my house saving me a trip down to their clinic. My overall experience with Legacy have been very positive, from the reception, the tech to the vet! I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for Veterinary Clinic to take your fury babies to!

They've dealt with COVID like professionals and made every process very smoothly. I had an emergency last week with my beloved dog Zelda where she suddenly was struggling to breathe. I brought her into the Legacy vet clinic and the girls took her back right away and got her on oxygen. Tragically she ended up having a heart problem and I was advised to put her down. This was the absolute worst day of my life but I cannot express enough gratitude to the women at this clinic. The vet could have easily tried to take advantage of the fact I would do anything for my dog but she compassionately advised that it was in the best interest of my dog to put her down. This was a hard pill to swallow but was the right thing to do. When I returned to the office to say goodbye I was brought into the back where I was met with the one vet tech (darker hair, I didn’t catch her name as I was so distraught) sitting on the table comforting Zelda in her lap. I could not even believe this act of kindness. As difficult as it was to say goodbye to my beloved dog, this girl touched my heart in a way I do not think she could even understand. I will forever be so thankful for this as it helped ease the pain. The women at this clinic were so compassionate and did what they could to make this difficult day easier. I highly recommend this clinic and will now be switching vets for my other pets.

I love this vet clinic! They have taken EVERYTHING into consideration when thinking about pet comfort. Welcoming front staff, a clean, warm environment, calming blankets, cat houses, oxygenated water dishes, and even a welcome board with the pet’s name. Such a different feel to any clinic I’ve ever visited (and I’ve been a pet owner for 30 years). Our preliminary pet visit was free, and we determined my 13 year old cat needed dental work. I was given a detailed quote with a sweet welcome package, full of information. A week later we were back in for surgery to remove A few teeth and have a dental cleaning. Prices were very reasonable. I called my old vet clinic and they quoted me $7-800 more than Legacy. Surgery went smoothly and my cat recovered very nicely. They followed up the next day to ensure all was well. I would recommend this vet clinic to everyone. Dr Maryam is very personable and professional. Her vet tech is great too!

I've brought my dog here a few times now and each time has been a great experience! The Dr. Jajouei and her staff are so kind and patient even with my dog who is very anxious and stubborn. They had a welcome message for my dog when we went for an appointment and they remembered what treats he liked! Also really appreciate that the hours go a little later some days, makes it easier to schedule. Update: brought my other dog who again is very anxious and almost jumped off the table, Dr. Jajouei was very accommodating of examining her in a different manner and got her a towel to be more comfortable Really appreciate that she not only addressed my main concern but also did a general exam of my dog.

I had a great experience. The 1st visit was complementary, I think because I was referred by a friend. I have a 50lb, tall and wild puppy when she 1st meets you. She thought she was there to wrestle with the vet and not there because of a lump. The vet was amazing and spread PB on the wall so my pup would be busy licking the wall while the vet took her temperature, looked in her ears and so on. She gave me some tips on how to hopefully have her stop jumping up to great people also. Overall it was a great experience. The clinic is nowhere near my house but I will definitely continue to take her there for care.

The team at Legacy vet never disappoint. They are on top of booking appointments in advance and sending reminders so I don't forget. The staff are always kind and welcoming, and very patient with my dog Henry, who sometimes gets a bit anxious. Henry tends to hide when it's time for vaccines. Dr. Maryam has such a kind and patient approach and spends time calming him down and offering treats to distract him. Our first impression of Legacy Veterinary Clinic was very positive. The staff were kind, knowledgeable and really great with our kittens. Based on all the positive reviews, I really believe that we just had a weird, one-off situation. Because of this, we tried to be as understanding as possible, but did end up switching vets in the process. Both of our kittens ended up with URI symptoms at the end of last year, and although our one kitten recovered quickly, our other guy just wasn't getting better. It reached a point where we were taking him to this clinic every weekend, and although we really appreciated how serious the staff took the situation, it escalated to a point that gave both my partner and I a lot of grief in the long run. He was never given any antibiotics, but instead was tested for feline leukemia. The test came back as a faint positive, and the only options we were given were to isolate him from our other cat and wait four weeks for a way more expensive test. After getting some second opinions, we ended up confirming he did not have leukemia (hundreds of dollars later) and he fully recovered after a round of antibiotics. Although we really believe the vets were just trying to eliminate all the possible options, we are both new to the world of cat parenting and felt a little taken advantage of. Based on his symptoms, no one else we spoke to considered leukemia an option, and it would have saved us a lot of money and emotional turmoil if we could have tried treatment instead of tests.

The staff at this clinic is wonderful. It’s clean and inviting inside. They offer a really great puppy package that included veterinary care, shots, and being fixed within the first year. Unfortunately, even though we wanted this package and it was part of the reason we chose this clinic, the package could not be offered to my dog. She’s a giant breed, and even the vet I saw said spaying her before her first heat was not ideal for her development, but that this was unlikely to happen before 12 months. Instead of being able to schedule her spay at the best time for her, we were unable to get the package we wanted for her. I find this approach really disappointing. I wish the puppy package was more inclusive and worked to serve the best interest of individual dogs.

From the custom little greeting messages on the whiteboard in the exam rooms to the extremely friendly front desk and techs staff, the calm and personable veterinarians, and their friendly reminders, follow ups, and ability to book you in asap - I just cant say how great this clinic truly is. Perfect mix of professionalism and customer service. So glad we made the decision to switch. We definitely feel like part of the Legacy Veterinarian family. Wow! I needed my girlfriends kitten spayed, and I needed a clinic that was nearby. My own Vet from a complex different quadrant of the city recommended Legacy. It was a wonderful experience. I work in petcare and so I knew what to expect. However, I did not expect the leave of professionalism, care, communication and love. This place is amazing. I even got updates throughout the day as well as a photo of Mini after her surgery. The kitten is home and happy, with a full set of idiot proof instructions and meds. Very happy customer!

Dr. Maryam Jajouei is great with my cat. My cat trusts her which is definitely something special as he doesn't like many people. Dr. Jajouei respects the fact you may not want to use conventional medicine on your pet and has provided alternatives. I have been bringing my cat here for 2 years now and am very happy with the care he has received.

I do not recommend this Vet Clinic what so ever. I took my black Lab there for a minor ear infection. An the bill was over $300 an they looked at him for 10min. Nothing was discussed as for the extra charges. $100 to exam him which only includes a weigh and a heart rate check. Then the extra charges for cleaning his ear which took under 10sec. $100. Another $50 for cleaning it with q tips. Another $50 for meds. An ect ect.... I was shocked they didnt charge me for the liver treats they kept giving him. Also they were extreamly rough with him and hurting him while trying to look in his ear. You can tell it was bothering him and they kept trying to push in the scope. Then they took him to the back and not sure what kinda mechanism they used back there but I do not recommend the service here and its extreamly pricey. Also I did take him there to get neutered and I found out that the owner. Dr. Maryium did not do the procedure. The other doctor let it out an said that she was the one that worked on him. So that's another reason why I do not recommend this place at all.

When I explained unusual intensity and length of my kitten's first heat, the booking staff understood need for a prompt and early spay. Although bookings were at least a week away, I explained the impact of extended timeframe for her and me. They put me on a cancellation list and was able to quickly have kitten spayed. It was very considerate of staff to take the time to text me a pic of my kitten when she was awake after surgery as I was concerned about her being under anesthetic so young. As she was tiny, surgery was physically hard on her. She was prescribed an anti-inflammatory to help reduce the symptoms. Knowing she might have more pain than usual, she was also prescribed added pain relief and it didn't seem to affect the cost of the spay (as per the estimate). The hardest part was navigating the area with instructions from Google Maps! Legacy has so many roundabouts and there is construction complicating this. But still think its worth the trip to see this caring veterinary practice.

My dog started fussing with his ears last night, and his regular vet didn’t have any appointments available today so I called around the city searching for someone who could take us. I didn’t want to wait because his ears seemed to be bothering him so much. This clinic was able to fit me in right away and I’m so grateful. It was a bit of a drive for me but was totally worth it! Dr Virginia and her team were wonderful, and did everything they could to make my pup comfortable. They had signs posted describing their commitment to fear free care - awesome! My pup is a big pitbull type guy and they were so kind to him and accepting. Everyone was very patient with me and explained things thoroughly. I can be a bit nervous and talk fast when I am, so I appreciate their patience both with me and my pup!
