Finally .....a vet (et al.) that cares about animals!

My dog Kayla was recently in to see Dr. Ravi. He treated her for a hot spot and was so kind and gentle with her! I love the staff there, always so friendly and they were able to get me in right away which was awesome! I go in to this clinic regularly and they treat Kayla & I like family. Means a lot to me to know they care!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. They don't try to fee you to death. I highly recommend the clinic for the extra efforts to explain/explore optimal low cost ways to provide the needed care for your animal. They took a good care of my cat. She ate some chemicals which lead to bad kidney and I almost said bye to her. But Dr. Varinder Kamboj did everything to keep her alive and now my cat is full of energy and back to normal live. Big thank you to the Greystone staff. Highly recommend.

As a first time pet owner and a new parent they were kind pleasant. They explained proceedures before hand. They explained the medication and how to administer and explained the after care. They even call to check up on the fur-patient. They really take care of you and they take care of your pet. Highly recommend

This place is amazing. My pup has had pain issues every six months or so, and my regular vet told me it was possibly pancreatitis, ran blood work and gave him injections but never actually tried to find out what was wrong when the labs came back clean. This morning I took my pup to Greystone Animal Hospital and they immediately did x rays to find out the cause to the problem. Within minutes I knew what was bothering my pup all this time. They were so patient when dealing with him and were so kind to us. I highly recommend them and will be going there in the future too!

Please don't go there!!! The vet refused to give an oxytocin shot to my dog that just gave birth and didn't expel the last placenta because this treatment was against is conviction.... And now she is fighting against an infection, high fever, diarrhea, no food, no drink... she had to be under IV medication for a day, blood test, drugs for a week and we are not sure that she will fully recover!! And all of that only because the vet refused to give assistance to my dog in danger! It's ANIMAL ABUSE!!!! But they don't care they charged me $250 for an Xray that i didn't even ask for! This type of behavior shouldn't be allowed in a medical care, you are a doctor to help sick client, your convictions or believes shouldn't interact at all!!! Please if you want your pet to live a long and happy life, don't go there!!!

I have used this Vet for my dog and my cat when we still had her. My dog is very fearful and the Dr and all the staff are so gentle and kind with him. He came in late one night when my dog was in pain for some unknown reason and was very good to us. There is no "upselling" of services, treatments, or products and their prices are very fair and reasonable. I can't recommend them enough.

It is my first kitten, and this is my first time going animal hospital. My kitten had a fever last week and it truly scared me since I never have a cat before, not mention a weak and sick kitten. Therefore, I brought him to this community animal hospital cause it is the nearest one for me. He really got a fever (104.2 F) after testing his temperature. Then the doctor said it is very high tempearture for cats and suggested give him a blood test. Of course, I followed the doctor's advice and get blood drawn in the lab. After the lab, the doctor gives me 7 pills antibiotic medicine (half pill every time, two times a day, morning and evening, for seven days). The next day, the doctor phoned me and told me he just had a virus infection and he has very low RBC (Reb Blood Cell Count), and the doctor said keeping taking antibiotic pills should be good, no more cure needed so far. Here are the reasons why I give one star: 1). Do we need a blood test to diagnose a "virus infection"? It seems the blood test only tells low RBC. I know he is virus infection by his symptom. And blood test is very expensive (200 out of 300, the whole fee is 300). The doctor didn't tell which kind of virus infected my kitten as well. There are a whole range of virus infections there, virus infection is too general based on a full blood test. 2). The doctor conduct the blood test on my kitten when he clearly knows the kitten weights 0.4 kg. If you have ever conduct a blood test for your cat, you should know how much blood they draw. I think it is the main reason why my kitten has a very low RBC. I doubt how severe a fever can be that a doctor need to conduct a full blood test on a 0.4kg kitten considering how much blood you need to draw from that skinny body. And my kitten still has a very pale lips now (one week after the diagnosis). 3). The antibiotic doesn't work at all, it helps nothing but let my kitten sleep heavily and remain listless. As we all know, antibiotics only cures bacterial and have no effect on virus. I know virus infection may lead to some bacterial infection, but antibiotics doesn't help cure virus infection although it may relieve its side effect. I maybe a little negative, but I tend to think they make the blood test for profits, not for the kitten's health, even worsen kitten's health for my case. I have heard that a lot of animal hospitals make profits by conducting "tests", not curing your lovely fluffy kid. Of course, hospitals are not charity, everybody is happy to pay if they do their job -- cure the poor kitten, not for my case. I now taking great care of my kitten, I won't take him to greystone animal hospital anymore. After I stop applying antibiotics, he is getting more active. People are losing jobs, so I got plenty of time to care him by myself. I won't take him to hospital if his condition doesn't go worse. Now, I think it is a better choice for him to recover by himself.

I had an excellent experience with this Animal Hospital. From the first time I reached out via Email, I received a prompt reply from Paisley with all information I was looking for. Their quote for the Dental procedure I needed for my Dog was better than all the other Vets or Animal Hospitals I reached out, and the Veterinarian had excellent reviews on Google and Yelp. One day before the appointment I received a reminder email with instructions and when I entered the Animal Hospital (even using a mask due to COVID 19) it smelled perfectly clean and disinfected. I have never seen such an organized and clean space, not even my family doctor or the Hospital I go to for Humans is so organized and clean. I felt very re-assured, the staff is knowledgeable about the procedure and explained to me the procedure that would be performed to my pet. Something I really appreciated as well was: they offered to call me to pick my dog up after an hour of observation after waking up, because not all dogs enjoy being kept in the cage away from the owners after a procedure. It shows me they really care about the pets well being and experience. Last comment I would like to make is about the medication I was given to take home. In comparison with previous vets/ animal hospitals these antibiotics and pain killers seem to be more modern, with flavoring for dogs, I did not need to hide a pill inside food to trick my dog... I just gave it to her and she did not refuse (this is from my experience - again I am not a doctor or vet so I could be wrong - just my impression).

I've never been to such a friendly and accommodating vet such as Greystone Animal Hospital. I really couldn't say enough great things about his practice. This Christmas I had a scare with my 7 month old kitten, she had a foreign object in her intestines and was definitely onto her last days. I brought her in as soon as possible to see what needed to be done. Unfortunately being a student with not a lot of money, the procedure was not in my price range. I was getting ready to let go off my little kitten. But with the generosity and help from Dr. Ravi and greystone animal hospital we worked out a way to make her surgery possible. It has now been a couple weeks since my kittens surgery and she is better than ever! I couldn't be more thankful , they definitely made what seemed impossible to me , possible. This is definitely my vet for life :) Thank you Greystone!

I can't say enough good things about the Greystone Animal Hospital. Their prices are very fair, their schedule is flexible, their hours are good, the office is very clean, and the resident cat is a sweetheart. This is our vet for life. We came to Dr. Ravi with a very sick one-year old pup - Lucy. He listened very well to the problems we described, and even took the time to explain to us what he thought the trouble could be, and why he was eliminating each cause, until diagnosing an infected salivary gland. (She had been misdiagnosed at our previous vet with a muscle pull, given drugs, and pushed out the door.) We felt at ease and could trust that our dog was finally being cared for. His prices are by far the best we've encountered, and so is the service. Dr. Ravi and his team were incredible during Lucy's surgery and recovery, and I was able to reach him after hours very quickly when necessary. It is clear that they all care deeply for the animals.

I highly reccomend Dr.Varinder Kamboj and his team. This vet is not only highly competent he is kind, compassionate and patient with the amimals and their owners. They take extra steps to assure each animals health and wellness.. I rescue animals and adopted a large shepherd with occasoonal challenges- Dr Kamboj is very gentle and reassures my big guy so that he can feel more comfortable. I also trust him with my senior chi, and my cat! he is very well educated and knows what he is doing.

A* service. Genuinely cared about the health of our puppy instead of trying to get as much money out of us as possible, wasn't rushed at all, vet was happy to answer our extensive questions and concerns. This place has reasonable prices and staff are lovely and understanding. Vets these days charge silly prices for an examination which involves very little and takes 2 mins then prescribe medications for a guessed diagnosis then you end up going back and forth. This place is different, thank you!

Greystone Animal Hospital took excellent care of our dog, Milo. A few weeks after we got Milo, he fell very sick and we took him to Greystone Animal Hospital where Dr.Ravi, Sonia and Paula cared for our baby. He was diagnosed with Parvo, and usually most puppies do not make it through the disease. However Dr Ravi and the staff were so positive and cared for Milo by nurturing him and doing everything they could which resulted in his survival. He’s now a healthy 13lbs dachshund! Apart from being excellent at their jobs, they are also very welcoming, friendly, and never fail to make us feel like family every time we go in for a visit! From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say thank you Dr. Ravi, Sonia and Paula!

We have been here multiple times now for our dachshund. Everything from regular checkups to what we felt was an emergency (which the Dr correctly diagnosed as him having eaten some cannabis) to most recently a diagnosis of pancreatitis, with the resulting tests indicating early stage kidney failure. Dr. Kamboj has always been thorough and caring, but has never once made us feel we're being upsold on unnecessary treatments or medications. The nurses are likewise very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know.

My 6 year old dog was coughing and gagging the night before, then she stopped eating the morning after. Luckily I found the Greystone Animal Hospital in a bind. The front desk staff is exceptional. She helped me feel at ease when I was so worry about my dog. She was kind, attentive and comforting. Dr Ravi patiently listened to my concerns and my dog's conditions. He did not push expensive tests on me, he understood when I told him I am on a tight budget. The pricing is very reasonable over all. This will be my new vet from here on. The vet here (Varinder Kamboj) is very unprofessional and impossible to understand. He always seems rushed every time we come in and doesn’t seem to care about his job. Today was the last time we’re ever coming back because as he was trying to restrain our puppy to look at his eyes he then went to put a muzzle on him(even though our puppy wasn’t biting) of course our puppy was panicking and he has the audacity to say “you should really train your dog” when we do countless hours of training with him. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I do not recommend!!

I have been dealing with a sick dog and he has been very helpful with me in regards to deciding what to do. After paying for blood tests and still needing to do X-rays I explained how it was challenging for me to pay for all of this. He did the X-rays for free! I was so surprised by this and very appreciative. I'm not suggesting he will do that for everyone, however, I have never had a veterinarian wave costs like that before. So, going to the vets is not cheep but it is what you have to do when you have pets. I trust this place and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a new veterinarian.

I've visited a number of vets over the years, and this clinic is the best. I've been bringing my cat here for about five years (surgery, dental cleaning, and treatment of eye infections, among other things). Dr. Kamboj's advice and treatment have always been excellent and both he and his support staff have always been extremely helpful and patient when I have questions (I can be pretty neurotic about my cat). Greystone is also quite reasonably priced compared to other clinics in the area, and not in any way pushy about their services. Highly recommended.

Second worst experience ever! Our dog had simple food allergy and slight rash on ears, he didn't say anything based on experience, but just took him for a $400 blood test and X-ray. The diagnosis is nothing, he said everything seems fine. What is the point of spending that money?????? Simple mistake made by doctor who simply cares about money! Sure~~~~~ Can't believe it is 5 star by the other reviews!

I love this guy! Dr. Kamboj and staff are honest , compassionate and are truly concerned for your pet and also consider you in the process, very up front with cost and better priced than anywhere i have been, i would pay more for service like this. Everyday i would receive a update in the morning and in the evening before he left My cat was at another vet just a day prior knocking on death's door with terrible uti, other vet sent him home same night and said if things go south put him down, and if he makes it through bring him back???? No way was i going back there! Any way brought him to Greystone and that was the best choice i ever made, he was there for 5 days but right now as i type my cat is sitting very comfortably on my lap, was even playing with other cat today and he started it, lol, i know i have to be careful and i know it may come back but i am not crying over my cats death right now and he has another chance, RIGHT ON!!! If you really want someone who cares and gives your pet a fighting chance , bring him to Dr. Kamboj and staff(sorry i don't remember all of your names) i would definitely recommend giving him a shot. Sincerely, Dustin Matheson and family Update: it is now 5 months later and my cat Ruckus is doing better than ever, playing all the time and very content, all i can say is im so happy i went to Greystone , thank you guys and gals soooo much again:) New Update: January 14 2020 Happy New Year! Now almost 2 years later Ruckus came down with it again a little different this time, he found himself blocked once again (my fault) Don't believe everything you read on the internet, a good quality wet food doesn't take the place of urinary diet, stick with what the vet prescribes, Don't find out the hard way like me. Second he also had kidney infection from a bacteria that is normally found on the skin of the cat, somehow found it's way in, i'm guessing all the rough housing my other cat does with him. Once again Ruckus was knockin on the pearly gates, heart was crushed thinking this was it, that he couldn't make this time, but once again Dr. kamboj (my new favorite super hero) swear he has magic up his sleeve somewhere, 6 days in , he did everything he could and saved him. besides a few bald spots from IV and catheter , all is good, Ruckus already showing me how strong he is on scratching post lol. I honestly thought Ruckus was gone and i couldn't come to terms with it, but i don't have to thanks to the best vet around in my opinion. Not only that, his price beat everywhere and i see in the doctors eyes he is truly there to help. I've owned lots of pets in my life and have been to many vets and honestly they all seemed cold inside in comparison. I just can't say it enough, if you love your pet and want the best chance and know it is in the right hands go to Greystone Animal Hospital , You can call around and i don't think your going to beat price, and even if you do, your taking a leap of faith to find a genuinely good vet who cares. I currently run a husky rescue for neglected huskies set to be euthanized I came across DR. Ravi at the Greystone Animal Hospital Who has taken the time to help me vet the huskies and have them treated in some cases. He takes the time and shows his true passion for animals and their well being He is opened 7 days a week, long hours to tend to your family member with complete care and respect as if they were home with you. The huskies and I consider DR Ravi part of our pack and we a rescue and my own personal huskies will always continue to visit Greystone Animal Hospital

I’m so grateful that this animal hospital was able to see my dog for an eye infection on such short notice. I called them on a Sunday around 12pm explaining my dog’s symptoms and that I was worried. They were able to fit us in at 1:45pm. The Dr was very thorough when explaining treatments. Got antibiotic eye drops for my pup and his eye is sooo much better. Thank you!!!!

My dog loved Greystone Animal Hospital! He was at ease and calm throughout the whole experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean, which made it an even better experience. The way the staff interacted with my dog was very professional and calming for Micki as well as myself. A blood sample was taken, which was done after thorough explanation of why it was needed and after a very thorough physical examination was done. I would definitely recommend this clinic to other animal owners!

The staff there is really caring and friendly they give your animal full attention. My dog Oscar feels safe and comfortable in their environment. they have a reasonable coast and give great service to any animal.
