The staff is simply amazing. All the doctors, techs, front house staff - we are so thankful to them. We rescued a sick puppy and trusted the team to get her right, and even had an emergency with our other pup and it was all hands on deck when we arrived. Everyone is kind, informative, the communication is great. You feel it deep inside that you are in great hands and I have zero problems referring anyone to this clinic. Our sweet boy developed some significant health challenges before he was a year old and thanks to Dr. Honda, her awesome team of very qualified & caring technicians our boy is almost 6 years old and a very happy healthy boy. Finally, I first met Dr. Honda when our senior boy was entering the final phase of his amazing life, her care for our senior boy was beyond amazing and the care and compassion she showed our boy and us at the end of Harley's life was absolutely incredible.

I felt confident in Southside's distancing, sanitizing and tracking. They seem to really have it all together. After rehoming several rats for my 11 year old daughter, we took the rats for check ups with Dr. Gibbs at Southside. Mint the rat ended up coming to us with a large cyst/tumor. Dr. Gibbs was wonderful with the rats and with us. Dr. Gibbs really handled the rats well. When the Mint the rat started going seriously downhill, Southside was checking in on us almost daily with either a phone call or email. This made us feel so supported through our journey with Mint. Thanks so much to all of the staff for being so thoughtful and sweet to my daughter and myself. We'll be back with any more rat issues! Definitely recommend! 5 stars. Prices were moderate imo. Staff are top notch.

I have been taking my dogs to South Side for 7 years and I cannot say enough great things about them. Our last dog didn't have many medical issues and we just went for regular check ups, but when she was at the end of her life, the entire staff were very supportive and understanding and certainly helped us through a very difficult time. We now have a new puppy who has many issues with allergies. Dr. Honda specifically is guiding us through diet and medications while making an honest attempt to be aware of the costs involved. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone.

I have a dog who has a difficult lifetime condition that causes him to flake skin constantly. When I first met Dr. Gibbs, she was with another vet clinic and I followed her to Southside Pet Hospital. The first time I met Dr. Gibbs, she got down and sat on the ground with my dog and made him feel very comfortable. I had already known what the condition of my dog was from my own exhaustive research and she never once questioned the knowledge I had of the condition or if my dog even had the condition... as had been done by other veterinarians before. Instead, she accepted the info, went and researched into it even further... confirmed the condition and was able to offer suggestions on other things I could do to help him even more. She is always very helpful and accommodating when I need some meds or a service for my dog... which he needs often. My dog is very comfortable with her and with the other staff... and so am I! Even the examination rooms and front areas are calming, clean and accommodating. I would highly recommend their business.

I really can't praise this clinic enough. All the staff members are so wonderful and courteous. In particular, I'm very grateful to Dr. Gibbs for her work; she treats our cat with great care and makes sure to explain the situation to us thoroughly, even making sure to ask if we have any questions and inform us of cost estimates and alternatives. Scheduling an appointment is very quick and easy, even for a new visitor. And their hours are pretty convenient, too. The establishment is on the small side, and while I may not agree with their "feels like a spa" description, it is certainly very homely and welcoming. It's not an exaggeration to say that I feel more at ease, and have more faith in the South Side team compared to other vets.

We are grateful to have South Side as our Vet! They are always there for us when we need them for our fur babies. Our beloved long haired chihuahua Dallas was diagnosed with chronic heart failure in summer 2019 and he passed suddenly in March 2020. Because it happened so suddenly we didn’t have time to make it to South Side and had to use a local Vet, but Dr. Honda from South Side made sure to be in contact with them, and us, during that extremely heartbreaking time. We appreciate that so much. We now have a new little chihuahua and could not feel more confident and happy to have South Side as our teammates again! We know our animals will always get given the best care by any one of the vet techs here. They are compassionate, understanding, and treat your fur babies like they were their own. Wonderful, caring staff. They always take the time to answer all your questions, and they keep in touch in case you have more. I’ve never felt pressured to buy or use anything that I wasn’t 100% comfortable with. Prices are fair for the area, comparable to other vets around (many of which I wouldn’t go to!)

I am a first time dog parent and have had my sweet Buffy for over a year now. South Side Pet Hospital took so much time, care and compassion when Buffy and I were both adjusting to our new pairing. The staff is friendly and very responsive and Dr. Janice Honda takes extra time with Buffy because she is a shy and scared little puppers. Unlike some vet offices that my friends attend, South Side always answers questions or concerns I have over the phone, that do not require an appointment, basically I am saying they are NOT about "the money grab" from their clients, they truly seem to care about the pet patients. Highly recommend!
