We have brought 2 of our animals to Doctor Honda now and her service is OUTSTANDING I recently bought a home 3 hours north, and she continues to see my Cat. Her staff are amazing at working around schedules so I can make it down to the city(to my parents house) to be able to bring him in. My family still in the city recently got a puppy, and she too will be seeing Dr. Honda!

I called in when my dog was unwell and I was in need of help, there earliest appt to see him was 3 weeks away, ok i get it there a pandemic but 3 weeks to see a sick pet? I asked Jenny the receptionist if she could recommend an emergency clinic I could take him to and she just said “i dont know i cant really help with that” After this upsetting me all evening I called back the next morning to let them know how upset I was with the way i was treated and the voice mail gave a number for the emergency vet they recommend! Why couldn’t Jenny tell me this on the phone? When your dog is unwell the last thing you want to do is start googling vets and try to find one knowing you have never met them and have to just drop your pet off at the door because of the pandemic. All I wanted was for someone to seem like they cared and unfortunately I did not get this here. Its a shame because we always loved the Vet here and the way I was treated on the phone has made me not return. Also no one called me back to follow up with the voice mail I left so this was it for me.

We have been a client of Cornerstone Animal Hospital for almost 10 years. Yesterday we had the most unfortunate accident of our 6 month old French bulldog falling into the freezing pond. She was in the water for at least 7-10 seconds. After taking care of her we immediately called our vet to see her right away and were told - "sorry we are full today", I explained again what happened and again was told I could make an appointment for the next day. Needless to say I contacted Beattie Animal Hospital who said "bring her in right away", within 15 minutes we were there, they X-rayed our girl and did bloodwork and transferred her to Mississauga - Oakville Pet Hospital where she is currently on O2 and antibiotics for water on her lungs. I am so disappointed and a little disgusted with Cornerstone Animal Hospital, the lack of compassion and loyalty to a 10 year client and a puppy that required immediate attention. We are in the process of moving all 3 dogs to a new vet.

They have be so helpful with our dog over the years. I found a tick on my dog today, and within 30 min, they saw me, checked the tick out, sent it away for lime disease testing and got us medication.

I really like Doctor Honda, but some of her staff has a "no can do" attitude. They are never willing to be flexible or help you out in a bind. I've also had issues whereas I've left countless messages for a supporting staff member and calls were not returned. It's too bad, because, as I mentioned previously, Dr. Honda is amazing with animals. <3

I've been bringing my 4 pets to Dr. Honda for the past 5 years. My husband an I have never experienced such compassion and care as we do with Dr. Honda, as well as the staff. They treat my pets as if they were their own. Wonderful staff and knowledgeable, and any questions I may have always answered. Going over and beyond is an understatement. We had to bring in our kitten Luna in as an emergency because she was vomiting . The Assitant was so pleasant on the phone, I knew we found the right place to bring our fur baby to be checked. Luna was taken in right away and Dr Nina with confidence and clear expertise explained what was causing the vomiting and next steps. After the surgery she followed up, and again went above and beyond in correspondence with me to ensure Luna was ok.

Ms Honda the vet is very nice I just randomly walked in and asked her about her paw print flooring. She literally chatted with me for 1/2 hour. Amazing human too bad I don't have a pet.

We have been customers for almost a year and had been taking our 2 dogs there until they charged us for a vaccine they never administered. When we realized we had paid for it but our dog never received it, we contacted them to setup an appt and they refused to give it to our dog without another examination. I assumed they would absorb the exam fee seeing as how it was their fault but they would not. I would not recommend this vet as they take advantage of their customers and try to gauge you for more exam fees while "pre-charging" you for vaccines your dog has not yet received. Read your bills very carefully with this place!

We have been so very fortunate to have Dr. Honda and her amazing staff care for our pets for the past 15+ years. She takes the time to get to know our fur family as well as our human family and has compassionately helped us through the loss of two of our pets. When our 14 year old Pomeranian, Tucker, was ill this past spring, Dr. Honda went above and beyond with his treatment - without which, we would surely have lost him. I can't recommend her highly enough - your pets will receive excellent care with her!

My dog loves this place. Staff is very nice and friendly. Always welcoming and willing to assist. Easy to make appointments. Lost a star due to dog food diet knowledge. They always frown at me when they hear my pup eats raw meat. (You'd think they would study up a bit, no? )

Dr. Honda is an amazing vet who is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and skilled. She is very calm, likeable, and truly listens. Even when we moved to Mississauga we kept her as our vet despite the drive. For our lab (who had a lot of medical issues), Dr. Honda always gave solid advice and options. She also performed one surgery for our dog and based on subsequent treatment by a top oncologist, the quality/approach for the treatment was excellent. All the other staff also are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Honda.
