I love this clinic and Sarah.. I have a four month old lab puppy and I went through three different vets before I found them .. thankfully my neighbour recommended them to me and I’m so happy! When I met Sarah for the first time she was so kind, patient, knowledgable and she totally makes you feel at ease. My puppy loves going there all the girls that work at the front desk and with the vet are awesome. Sarah never pushes you to spend extra money she gives you all the options and you decide what is best for you. She genuinely cares about the animals and she took her time in explaining me everything that no other vet had done.. i’m going to go here for my dog and I’m going to bring my cat over to them as well. If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about animals. Look no farther this clinic is for you ! I give them 10/10 stars!

Finally I found this clinic where the doctors care more about animals than their bank account. I got a very detailed, patient and honest explanation of all scenarios in a difficult situation with an emphasis on what's beneficial to my dog. No gimmicks, only professional service. I am so grateful to have found this clinic! During this pandemic its very difficult to take your pet to a new Vet that you haven’t met and also be unable to go in with them. I called in need of someone to see our dog who wasnt feeling well, our original vet had a wait time of 3 weeks and my poor little guy needed to be seen. I feel like this was a blessing, Dr Stuart and his team are AMAZING! Not only did they get us in quick I felt at ease the moment I spoke to reception and Dr Stuart! He called me and we had such a nice chat and he was soooo caring. He answered any questions and made such light of the situation. Just an excellent clinic! Thank you all so much! You have no idea how much I appreciate your care and kindness!!

I love these vets, and they are wonderful with our dogs and cat! One of our dogs is special needs, and the vets are extremely patient with us. They were open to learning more about her condition, and have worked with us and her neurologist to keep her in good shape. It's incredibly easy to order our medication, and they have super affordable prices. They shopped around their suppliers for us when we were exploring a change to a more expensive medication to give us the the most affordable price. I highly recommend!

I had called to book my dog in for an appointment from a referral I got from a friend who spoke very highly of this vet clinic. We recently lost a dog and my other dog seems very down and out and I just wanted a checkup to make sure he was in good health all around. The initial contact was pleasant, the girl said it would be about a week before he could get in but she would have to call me back. I received a call back 2 hours later and the girl who called said “well since he has been to Beatties before (only once and it was a terrible experience which is why I was looking for another vet) then you can take him there for a checkup”! She came across rude and had no consideration for the reason for the visit. First impression is a lasting impression and I won’t ever refer this place to anyone.

Do you like 'bullshirt' and nonsensical conversations delivered in a condescending way, or being aggressively upsold things you don't need? If you do, keep moving pal, because Appleview Animal Hospital isn't for you. All this place has is a down-to-earth staff, providing excellent veterinary care, with a pragmatic and compassionate approach, for reasonable fees. If that's not what floats your boat, then you best be movin' on. For the rest of us, you can't go wrong with Stuart and his team.

I want to preface this by saying we've been going to this clinic since my dog and cat were babies. April 1st, my cat started coughing and stopped eating. We took him to this vet. What could have been a simple visit turned into the worst day of my life. After doing a few simple routine tests, the prognosis was that my cat had congestive heart failure or cancer, though we were certain something was stuck in his throat. He offered all of the expensive diagnostics but ended up coming to the conclusion that we should put him down due to his age. Since this happened to our old cat, my dad requested antibiotics and food even though the vet insisted that he wouldn't survive and was suffering. My dad thought my cat was going to die one night when he saw something stuck to his fur. My cat had coughed up a twig. Now he's happy and healthy. This is the SECOND time we were told to put down a cat when the solution was simple and non-life threatening. Not only would he refuse to talk to me because I was emotional, but it felt as though there was more a motivation behind how much money they could get out of us instead of coming to a real prognosis. This was a simple problem that the vet refused to take our word on and I almost lost my best friend because of this clinic's incompetence. Word of warning to anyone who is told to put their beloved pet down, please think twice. I will never be giving my business to this clinic ever again.

Don't let this small clinic fool you. This is the best veterinarian clinic in Burlington. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctor is very thorough. They genuinely care and their prices are very reasonable. During my visit the vet explained the pros and cons of multiple treatment options, and the staff went above and beyond to help me administer medicine to my cat. Great experience!

Took my lab in for a routine check-up, as she was limping from playing with other dogs. Stuart, are veterinarian checked her over and told me he has to recommend blood work, and x-rays oh, but she is in such good shape, he said if it was his dog he would take those recommendations but not spend all that unnecessary money. It is very refreshing to see this type of professionalism and care from a veterinarian. There are vet clinics that are franchises in Ancaster where I live that try to squeeze every dollar they can out of you. That is why my wife and I drive all the way into Burlington to see this wonderful team and staff. To say I highly recommend this company is an understatement. They treat our pets like one of their own, and their honesty and integrity is second to none.

We’ve been going to Appleview for close to 30 years. That alone speaks for itself. When we sold our house we moved further away so we went to another veterinarian. But once you’ve had the best, we cannot settle for anything less. Sarah and Stuart both will give you their options and let you make up your mind without pushing any unnecessary expenses on you. They gave me back my furry friend when I thought I’d have to put him down. After seeing three different vets and being told the same thing. It would cost me. But Stuart took a different route. My dog will be on heart pills but at least I have him back. The reason I didn’t see Stuart first you ask......he was on vacation. Staff is superb. Thanks to all.

I needed a certificate of vaccination to travel with my dog and was charged twice for the same letter because they did not know I had to do it within 10 days of traveling. I paid $130 for first letter and $146 for the second because they forgot to charge for something the first time. They were not apologetic, did not take responsibility for their work. Not impressed.

I've been trusting this pet clinic for close to 20 years with all my fur-babies. I've always found them to be straightforward and reasonable. I have had aging/ailing cats that they have been very compassionate with and helped us manage comfortably through the end of life as well as new babies they are always enthusiastic to share the joy with. The vet took his time on the phone with me to explain EVERYTHING !! 20 min call answered all my questions and did not rush me off the phone! 10/10 I will no longer take my dog anywhere else!

Dr. Stuart Woolard is amazing! We brought our dog Ivy in today for her yearly shots.. We weren't allowed to go inside due to COVID. Ivy can be a big handful when it comes to the vet. She has to be muzzled because she becomes aggressive out of fear. When I apologized he laughed and said it was part of the job. He took the time over the phone to explain exactly what Ivy needed and he was extremely honest. Im use to vets trying to pressure you into procedures just to make money and he did the complete opposite! I recommend this office and vet to anyone who wants honesty and kindness.

I would like to thank Dr Stuart Woolard and the rest of the staff at the clinic for doing a fantastic job on my greyhound Harper for her dental. I was very worried to have my dog sedated for a procedure but they made me feel very comfortable. We have only had Harper for a year and were told she had had a dental at the rescue before we got her, there was no way that happened....her teeth had so much plaque and her breath was horrible! She had to have about 6 teeth removed because they were so bad! Her teeth are now sparkling white and her breath is way better. After about 2 days she was back to her normal self again. Thanks again to the whole team for taking care of my girl Harper! Highly recommend. Also, the price was about 1/3 the cost of what another vet quoted us for the dental!

Stop curbside appointments. It's bad for the animals and it's bad client service. Let's move on from lack of services due to over-the-top covid protocols as the majority of the population is vaxxed and there are a handful of cases in the region! I don't need four phone calls and a hassle trying to pay in order to get through a quick appointment.
