Awesome,nice gentleman doctor actually offered me options on how we can treat my dog's type 1 diabetes,am relieved ,my dog is very sensitive and sometimes nervous,I think the doctor could read this and suggested many options suitable for both of us as I don't live in town this will really help,reception and tech very good too.Thank you all.

Only a three today as I feel medications are pushed on people without explanation and needs assessment. As a single pet parent id like to be given an option to necessary medication and not 'just in case' medication. But on a good note they are very helpful and great with the pets!

At first I thought they were great and caring. My dog tore the ligaments in his hind leg (ACL). The vet said it was going to cost $6k for surgery and since I couldn't afford that I should just put my dog down. My dau and I were heart broken. Did some research and there's a possibility for healing with proper care. I decided to try and go that way. After a couple of weeks of home therapy the casted leg started to swell. I took my dog back in, was told yet again that since I couldn't afford surgery to put him down. I said I wanted a second opinion. This vet insisted on talking to the next vet of my choosing... the 2nd vet just sent us home with a whole new wrap job on the leg and said the same thing these guys did. Still not satisfied I took my dog to the vets in Strathmore. Where his surgery with the orthopedic surgeon was performed within days of first being seen by him at less than a third of what these guys wanted to charge me. Almost 2 years later, my boy is happy, healthy and running free through the pastures at our home. Luckily I knew better than to trust the vet here. I called to talk to the owner regarding the issues, and she seemed less than caring abt the whole situation. Unless you're looking to have your pet euthanized... I'd suggest you stay far far away from these guys. Horrible, stressful situation to go through to begin with, and they certainly did not help the situation at all. Save your time and your money... find a reputable vet that isn't willing to throw a life away because you may or may not be able to afford it.

My farm dog was having some issues and they were quick to get us in and treat him as needed. He may not have enjoyed his experience but I'm pleased and grateful!

They didn't have a Vet. on staff that day when we needed get our cat in, and transferring his file over to Bow Valley was an ordeal. Newell staff claimed that it would be "automatic", but Bow Valley claimed that it was a manual process. I called both Vets and followed up again to make sure the records were transferred. Veterinary clinics need a central database and mobile app so that Vets have the information they need whether they are in or out of the office.

My dog Lucy has been with Newell Vet since we got her 4 years ago. The staff is very friendly and do their best to make us both feel comfortable. They are efficient and answered all my questions professionally.

i made an appointment with them to get my dog neutered and to get his shots done. i had to fast my dog from 8pm to the time of his supposedly scheduled appointment, upon arrival, i was told that there was no doctor in, i had not received a call prior to coming in that day. i understand being busy, but this is a business, and they should’ve been more professional! very disappointed with Newell Vet Clinic.

I phoned this vet's office to maybe gets some help with my pet. I live on a fixed income and only get paid once a month. Is the middle of the month and nothing is left asked if they could look at her and would pay at the end of the month. They told me unless I have a down payment that they won't look at her. Good thing vet's cared about the animals first and money next. Can guarantee will not be bringing my pet to this office they only want money they don't give a dam if She dies before I get money to get her to a vet.

My dog had cut her leg open on an old tree . Branch was sticking out. I rushed her to the Newell vets and they were very helpful. Got her in and came out 3hrs later with stitches. Glad to know that the clinic is there. Thanks to all the vets and hard working people that work there. Thank you
