Good staff kind and helpful. If you're going on a Saturday call first. Dr. Jonathan and the staff a true saints. My cat Daisy has been very sick. To the point where we thought she might have to be put to sleep. Dr. Jonathan wouldn't give up on her. And now she's recovering. The staff loved her up while she's been there. It's been expensive but you get what you pay for. Daisy owes her life to the vets and the staff. I'm forever grateful.

I was really nervous about finding a new vet for our 10 year-old Lab, as I thought they might try to take advantage of our lack of knowledge to try to sell us on more meds/food/etc. I was pleasantly surprised, however, when they actually suggested she didn't need some of the things her prior vet had recommended and at their willingness to clearly explain everything to us. This has continued at subsequent appointments, and while no vet is inexpensive, we are satisfied that the care our dog receives is well worth the cost. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Pardale Animal Hospital for almost 25 years. In the last 7 years I've used Dr. Mary Litchi who is amazing. My dog is a very nervous dog and has been since 7 weeks. Dr. Litchi is very patient with Sophie, sitting on the floor and letting her come to her. We do her examination on the floor. The staff are all wonderful to deal with. I'll continue to go to Parkdale until I no longer have animals.

I can't say enough good things about Parkdale Animal Hospital. The vets and staff are all fantastic. We hadn't prioritized finding a vet for our (young, at the time healthy) cat when we moved from another city, so when our cat collapsed one day without warning, we were left struggling to find a vet who could see her on short notice. We probably called 10 places before connecting with Parkdale, who I think may have even rearranged some things to take her in. They treated our girl with the utmost care, and were patiently with explaining all the tests that they recommended and why. We ended up seeing three of their vets, all of whom were very kind and straightforward throughout. Eventually, we ended up needing to take our girl to the Ontario Veterinary College for surgery and other treatment, and they made the transition as smooth as possible. They were also great about follow-up calls to check in on how things were going. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great care for their furry family members.

Worst experience ever! Yesterday I left my house for the appointment and my little kitten was so scared on the way there so I had to calm her down first. So I phoned them and told them I’d be late they were like oh just come. When I got there they said I missed my appointment please reschedule. And they phoned me again for reschedule I said 1.30 tomorrow works for me. And then I went and they said you sounded so unsure so we didn’t book you. Nice job.

I brought my beloved dog in at the end of May because he was having a hard time walking. The vet took him for the day did xrays and blood work for everything, even gave him medication for something he did not even have. She did everything but actually take the time to check the one thing I brought him in for...his leg. She had him all day, she saw how he was walking. When I asked her why, she just told me it was not a concern of hers. IT WAS A CONCERN OF MINE! Today I am now having to plan the euthinization and cremation of my beloved dog, as he is just getting weaker day by day, all because his leg was not this vet's concern.

Took my dog there three times. Each time, I asked what the cost would be. They conveniently forgot to disclose that there is a mandatory exam fee. The first time, I spaced out the first two vaccine shots, they charged me an exam fee both times - the shots were a month apart. This place is not transparent about their fees so it is hard to trust if they are going to do the right thing for your dog or if it is just about making a few extra bucks.

All the staff and veterinarians here are wonderful and I can tell they care about my cat a lot. I think I've seen every vet who works here over the past couple years, because my cat's had some issues, but they've always been helpful, and they have good appointment times for someone who works a typical office job. They really stood out to me when my cat had crystals in his urine a couple years ago and needed an emergency catheter - he's made a full recovery thanks to Parkdale and the Energency Veterinary Clinic in Cambridgw, and his new food will prevent this problem from happening again.

i took my kitten of 7 months in for a neuter. he came home with me and was throwing up yellow secretions. i called parkdale worried, they said it was very normal and to just let him rest. Next morning i woke up he was dead. My mother also had a cat who was very sick and dr murphy wanted to put it down. he was adamant about it. my mom took it for a second opinion in guelph and a year later the cat is happy, healthy and gained her weight back.

I have nothing but respect for Dr. Panning and Dr. Uyede. Dr. Panning was always great with my pet, it was never just another patient or revenue stream unlike some vets. She is compassionate, respectful, and supportive. She remains calm and collected but you can see that she genuinely has your pet's best interests at heart. Dr. Uyede is the same way. I told him my dog was cautious of men and he took the time to sit with him and build his confidence and make him feel safer. I would absolutely recommend Parkdale to anyone that asked.

There aren't enough good things I can say about the amazing the team at Parkdale. We've taken our Pomeranian there since he was a puppy (7+ years) and he has had quite a few health issues during this time, most recently surgery on both of his knees. The care and attention Dr. Uyede and the entire team at Parkdale provide is unparalleled. They are so responsive, so helpful and really give you a personalized and tailored approach to caring for your fur babies. I don't know how we would have gotten through the multiple surgeries and resulting therapy and care if it wasn't for how dedicated the Parkdale team is and how understanding they are of a pet owner's stress and anxiety in trying to provide the best care possible. We also recently moved overseas and Dr. Uyede was as usual so extremely helpful in helping us navigate the paperwork and logistics of moving with our Pom. We will miss the team at Parkdale so much and will without a doubt return when we are back in Canada.

The vets are professional and meticulous. They do not try to force sell their sponsored brand of cat/dog food. I found this to be a problem at other places around Waterloo. The prices are average for the region. I recommend to always check your bill and ask for a break-down of the charges as they can make mistakes and overcharge for rejected services.

My son's wonderful cat Mistie was ill the Covrid virus made it almost impossible to get her help as everyone claimed they were to busy and did not care that this was an EMERGENCY. Parkdale did not hesitate to help her. They truly showed not only compassion but sheer concern for her welfare. Sadly Mistie was to ill with fluids pushing onto her lungs and we had to put her down. The doctor was beyond understanding and patience. He asked how Mistie was special and brought joy to our family he gave me a bit of time with her before putting her to sleep, he made sure she was not in discomfort. It was over in 15 seconds. Parkdale really loves and cares for any loving pet that comes into their care. We our profoundly and heartfelt appreciative to all of the staff at Parkdale!

We're students and so we've had a few different vets for our girl because of our moves, and Dr. Uyede is by far the best we've had. Our dog is fairly skittish and can be a bit much sometimes but Dr. Uyede and his staff always make us feel like we're welcomed and appreciated.
