Just moved to this area, and chose Brockville Animal Hospital for my two dogs routine care based on online reviews. The care did not disappoint, including follow-up phone calls when my dog took badly to a vaccination. Price-wise, they seem comparable to other vet services I have used throughout Ontario, but it is the quality of their team that moves them well ahead of anywhere else I have been. I was very happy with my choice! (hopefully they are also, my dogs are somewhat diva-ish, lol!)

We drive from Montreal to Brockville for our appointments. We have had the best service ever! We dont have to wait and are helped at our appointment time. They dont pressure you to over vaccinate or over medicate. The vet seems to care about the pets more than the profits. They also suggested natural medicines for pain and stiffness in my older dog which doesnt bring a dime to their facility. They also sent us a lovely letter when our dog passed away suddenly. Couldn't recommend them more!

Where do I start!!! Wow !! What a seamless process . From the minute I called to inquire about getting our kitty cooper neutered I was thrilled . I knew right then ; we were in good hands. The lady who took the appointment ( Kim I think) was so pleasant and explained to me everything we needed to know. She was informative and did not pressure us into anything ; but gave us the option ( micro chipping and additional blood work). I really appreciated this! She was so pleasent to talk to. Dropped cooper off at 8:30 and he was out of there late afternoon. They sent us home with a recovery info letter, and explained how he did through the surgery ! They treat your animal like it's one of their own. If your still undecided what vet to choose; I hope my review helps you decide. For the record; we live in Ottawa. After searching for vets around here, nothing compared to the experience we just received at this vet. Thank you brockville animal hospital such amazing service. Definitely worth the drive !

Heavy prices and not the great service. Came in for 5 minutes and it cost us $170 to get blood drawn with a $30 handling fee. Ridiculous. The rewards app they have has so many stamps you need to collect that it feels like you aren't getting anything at all.

The brockville animal hospital is an amazing veterinary center to bring your animals. The staff are very polite to you and your pet. They can do anything involved with pet issues. My cat had pillow paw so we brought him and they have us pills to give him which got rid of the infection in about a week. They can also fix your pets as well as give them regular check ups. They also do all vaccines required for your pet.

Can't say enough about how great the team is here! We moved into town last year and a friend recommended Brockville Animal Hospital for our 2 dogs, and we just love them. All of the veterinarians and staff are wonderful, caring and treat our pets as if they were their own. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our older dog this week and once again the team came through huge, caring for Geordie in his last moments with nothing but love, and making a difficult time as easy as possible. Emergency Vet = 5 Stars. $300 is $100 more then Ottawa Emergency Vets BUT the care you receive is 100% worth it. That and the fact their meds are cheaper then most vets. Xrays are a good price. Vet techs and Vets are amazing; transparent, kind and helpful. Willing to discuss prices of possible treatment (xrays) prior to an exam - so you can be prepared for what you may get into. Don't let the $300 exam fee detour you. The care your pet receives here is 100% worth it

I went here for a second opinion for my dog, and never looked back!!! The entire staff welcomes you, treats your pets as their own and you can feel the love as soon as you walk through the door! I’ve had Lyme disease for 20 years now and it makes my life very difficult and it scares me to death that my dog could get it... the staff is SO understanding of that and will call me with reminders when my dog is due for her flea and tick medication... they just seem to go way above and beyond what they have to! Was given no prices and no options other then to apply for a "Medicard" credit card and have them pay it. Awesome facility that is bright clean and has a welcoming environment. I have recently just gotten my double crypto cat fixed there and they are by far the best. We tried having him fixed before and it did not go so well and he was not fixed. Our price was 400 plus tax and pain meds Prior to contacting this animal hospital we were given prices as low as 700 to 1000$+ depending on how complex the procedure was priced varied. So happy to have our little guy fixed and healthy and they have never had a double crypto before only cryptorchid but they did it without hesitation and did it very well! The complimentary checkup is also amazing, gives you a piece of mind the procedure went as planned as well as the recovery.

She did severaltests on her prescribed food, kept her for the afternoon, explained the xray that she had done, called on Saturday to see how Kelsey was doing, and again today. Dr. Pegrum was amazing with Kelsey ,she was kind and gentle with her. You could tell by her professional character that she was as concerned about Kelsey as I was. (And I was a basket case.) Dr. Pegrum I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Kelsey is home, eating , socializing,and back to being herself. Happy is a home that has a great pet!!

With the addition of a new member to our family, our feline friend soon needed a little basic surgery to make him sterile. Being new to the area I called around to see who offers what services and at what prices. My first and my last call was to Brockville Animal Hospital and wait until you hear what happened next. (who says I can’t have a teaser in my review?) The quote given to me by Brockville Animal Hospital was in line with other veterinary hospitals, but this is where the similarities end. They didn’t try and push unnecessary services, nor did they try and upsell at every turn. This was a surprise compared to other veterinary hospitals, some of which required multiple visits. Say again? Multiple visits for what in my eyes is a routine procedure? The kitty is getting neutered, not having open heart surgery. It’s akin to getting an oil change, but to do that the dealer needs to wash your car, and rotate your tires. Nonsense. There was none of that here. So, after calling around even as far as Kingston, eventually my last call was to Brockville Animal Hospital to book the appointment. The hospital was easy to find and the staff was very friendly. They explained the steps before the surgery and kept me informed on the progress, even sending a quick message to say the kitty was recovering well (with a picture). While the kitty was there they did notice ear mites and suggested treatment. I was allowed to research the medication they recommended and they were very transparent throughout the entire process. They followed up on the recovery the next day, but I was unable to take the call so they left a message and followed through with a secondary call to make sure everything was well. A month later and they called to remind me that another dose of medication is due soon, and again because I was unavailable to take the call they left a message and followed up a couple of days later when they still haven’t heard back from me (can’t remember why, but it was a super hectic week for me with the holidays upon us). Kudos to Brockville Animal Hospital. They did everything right and we had a great experience (I asked the cat, he said “mreowr”). Would highly recommend Brockville Animal Hospital and will definitely be returning there for future needs, as they arise. Thank you!
