Worth the money to find out what was wrong with our 16-year-old cat, who has never cost us a dime medically until now. He's a sweetheart, but can be stressed out easily. When he's at the vet he's a monster. Lab tests were done immediately in-office, they even managed to get urine samples without us having to collect it at home each time. The doctor telephoned us directly to explain the results, diagnosis & treatment options. Our little old man is back to his old self again due to his ongoing treatment for hyperthyroidism. We are very impressed, and happy with the services provided. Thank you!

I am very surprised at how a first time client gets treated. Terrible customer service. I chose this place because of the good reviews but honestly you have lost your values. I got a email stating my appointment time and your computer says different and instead of taking ownership of your mistake you made me and my kitten wait in my car for 15 mins. It was 30 degrees outside and my kitten was under distress. I Brought up the issue and you still insisted on telling me that your appointment said a different time when my email shows that I was on time. The situation got brushed off. Like who cares. Now why would I want to take my kittens back to a place that shows no ownership for their mistakes and does nothing to fix it. Just take my money and go. I would never ever ever take my kitten back their again. Cold, insensitive place. And you're instgram page shows this happy place when you guys obviously have no customer service training at all. And don't bother telling me your sorry because when I was there you showed no empathy.

Just had my first visit and I am sooo impressed! Dr. E was so thorough with the exams and explained everything to me as he proceeded. Gave me immediate and future options as well. The best part was that before he did anything he told me the price of EVERYTHING and asked if I was okay with that. A lot of vets don’t do that and Not everyone can afford huge bills. I’m glad I chose them when my usual vet wasn’t available.

The staff at Newton always go above and beyond for the patient. My dog needed her refill on medication. They usually mail it to me but delivery could not be guaranteed. They didn’t want our medication to end up lost in the mail. They arranged for me to pick up what I needed at a hospital in my hometown. We got the refill on time and I have a very happy dog. Thank you team for figuring out a solution that was outside the box.

Very happy with the service at Newton with our French Bulldog and 4 teeth removal. The doctor (Dr Prostran) waa happy to spend a lot of time answering questions until we were comfortable. Happy to use again if need be.

As we were waiting today at the clinic with our dog to take a look at her eye, a lady brought in the mangled body of smaller dog on her car mat. The front-end staff jumped into action showing professionalism, care and most of all heart. This bystander was shaken, and so were the people in the waiting room. Awesome experience here. Our Boston Terrier needed CCL repair surgery and after hunting around the lower mainland for a reasonable price, we were recommended to try NAH. After consultation with Dr. Prostran we were given reasonable quotes for the two surgical options. He is an excellent, experienced vet and was very straightforward/transparent, which we appreciated. The staff and techs here are also top notch and very caring. You just get the vibe that everyone here is working for the love of the animals and not to make $$$ off expensive vet bills.

Stopped going here shorty after the corporation purchased it. Prior the clinic was amazing. Very few of the original staff remain now and there is a very overt concern for making money. Yes it s business but the clients don’t need to be gouged. Was sad when Dr.Douglas stopped working. He made the clinic what it was. Not only was he a very good veterinarian, he also made you feel as tho you and your pet were his only concern. The veterinarian industry locally has really changed. The corporation owns literally hundreds of clinics now. Such a shame ????

They tried to charge me $2500 so that my dog could stay over night connected to an iv for diarrhea and vomiting which had subsided and prior to deciding this they had not done any tests all to even determine if an iv or overnight stay would be required. I went and got a second opinion and turns out my puppy just has bad gas lol unfortunate that they are trying to gouge clients for unnecessary procedures.

Clean facility, sufficient parking and located on King George Hwy. with access from both directions. Usually try to book with Dr. Barkasy but the other vets are very good as well.

I am SO THANKFUL I found a clinic that I can trust to take care of my boy. I take my cat, Oscar, in for his regular check ups (and anytime he has anything slightly wrong with him, really. I may be a little overprotective.) Just last week he sustained an injury from another cat while he was outside. I called VCA, worried, and they were able to fit him in that same day. The staff is always welcoming and obviously passionate about helping animals. Kind and competent care.

While I don't doubt the quality of the vet care here, I wanted to point out that Newton Animal Hospital helps a "society" called Friends Of The Animals. This "society" is known for stealing animals. They tell pet owners they are taking the animal in for free vet care and then refuse to return the animal and tell the owner that they're not rich enough to have a pet. Newton Animal Hospital was made aware of this but still continue to help Friends of the Animals. Therefore, they are part of this theft of animals from their loving homes.

They are honest, and will let you know what is truly needed and not needed.
