This hospital is quite frankly the best veterinary I have ever experienced. After two very sad situations with two different cats I was met with respect, caring, understanding and a deep empathy. Dr. Haage is an outstanding human being and animal veterinarian and I don't think I could ever express how grateful I am of how caring and gentle he was with my cats at their final moments. I would recommend this vetrinary to all that are in need of help and care.

I love this vet. All the staff I've spoken with are so kind and very wonderful with our animals! We bring our pet rats here, and finding a vet who is good with and knowledgeable about them can be difficult, but we really lucked out with them.They have not one but two vets good with pocket pets! They're very responsive with calls and prescription refills and are usually able to get us appointments pretty quickly, even during these strange Covid-19 times. When one of our rats was very ill, Dr. Schaufele stayed on the phone with us for at least 20-30 minutes and took the time to research different treatments and offer assistance. Very grateful for them!

We first used Richmond animal hospital for our pug with a skin condition..... she never got such great care. Now we use Richmond animal hospital for our cat. Cosmo has been there for boarding as well as annual vet check ups and nail trimming. We have never ever encountered an issues with ANYONE and our animals have always been comfortable here. I would highly recommend

Scammed me for a check up that didn’t even found the problem with my cat. My cat got sick and asked for help, they did bunch of test on him without notifying me of the price, it costed $1200 for them not figure anything wrong with him. If I handout asked the doctor about the next test they do on him, it would have costed over $1700. In the end my cat recovered by himself but they didn’t’ follow up nor figure our what was wrong with him.

i don't recommend taking your sheltie there. they really damaged my dog's coat in an attempt to make him cooler for the summer but really damage his coat. they really messed up his bottom area and made it super patchy and grey and it was not smooth at all. if you have a sheltie do not take him here, i recommend christine's grooming salon as they make much much cleaner cuts. they also left a mat behind his ear, and pulled out another mat causing his ear to bleed and they told us they sutured him. i really don't recommend :( the service was good tho, very nice lady but really bad outcome.

I love this place. Every time I drop off my babies (2 toy poodles) I can tell the staff love them and care for them they way I would. Going to the vet is usually not fun so it makes me feel better knowing how well they are cared for. Both of my poodles get their shots, surgery and grooming here. Along with anything else that unfortunately comes up. I think my dogs know the staff better than some of my friends. Haha! Until I can bubble wrap my babies I will keep RAH on speed dial. We come here for annual checkups and shots for our dog, as well as occasional visit for our chinchilla. Both reception and the doctors are friendly and attentive. They seem to be constantly busy but try to help you as soon as they can. Have heard that their prices are high but we think it's reasonable and acceptable. Did a dental cleaning once and the cost was cheaper than most that we have seen.

Lack of customer service played a big part in why I changed vets. My kitten got explosive diarrhea after swapping to their kitten recommended diet, when I inquired for some assistance I never even got a response back. Not even an acknowledgement letting me know they are aware and will be in touch, just absolutely NOTHING! something would've been better than nothing. When I tried to give them a call, immediately they ask if you can be put on hold but I find it odd they do not ask why youre calling BEFORE they put you on hold? wouldn't it make more sense to do so , so you know the severity of the patients situation?? but that's beyond my control I guess. I end up being on a hold for approx 20 minutes before hanging up and calling another vet. THey had called me back but due to work I could not respond. By the time I was off work, they were off work and they never even once responded to my email in regards to this. at this point I'm kind of offended almost because, this is my baby and I'm sure all pet owners can relate but i trusted this place and i had alot of respect for RAH but this just made me feel like I was just another patient with a number. It's been nearly a week and still no acknowledgement. I'm not sure if this is due to my new vet calling for documents and now RAH doesnt think they need to respond because "i went somewhere else anyways" then thats pretty unbelievable. Originally I came here with issues in regards to my kitten's stools which I honestly got little to no help from anyone here it seems. As of today she has no more issues with her stools, no more diarrhea either with little to no help from this hospital tbh. I'm sure they work for a lot of you guys so please do not stop going here but they just did not work for us, which is a shame. I am well aware of their ridiculous hold times over phone which I never minded at all because as I said, I respected this place. But when your food causes my kitten explosive diarrhea over the course of 4/5 days, and you do not respond then yes this was my last straw.

Used to be a good place but has gone downhill really fast. 9/10 times I called, I was put on hold. 9/10 times I arrived on time, I had to wait in my car for extra 30 minutes or more. 9/10 times I paid, I got surprised by random fees. I believe the vets here are still very professional and friendly. But their policies and administration work have definitely made me look for vet somewhere else.

They take such good care of my animals. They groom my dog as well. Prices for grooming are very reasonable. Update: Initially, Dixie was reluctant to enter the vet clinic, however, lately she displays real enthusiasm when we arrive. I think she is just responding to the kind and caring staff at RAH. It's impossible to overstate how knowledgeable the vets and support staff are. Anytime I bring Dixie in, the doctor always follows up with a call to see how she is doing. This clinic has it all. I have her food delivered on auto order every month. I can book her appointments online as well. The clinic is clean and spacious. RAH is our vet, the very best in town, or out of town!

I was recommended here by BCSPCA when I adopted my cat. The vets have always been very kind and informative when it comes to caring for my kitty. I'll always receive follow-up calls to check in on my cat, whether she's already home or still at the vet. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly whenever I have any questions or concerns. They've allowed me to return food that my cat refused to eat without any problems. They are also very helpful and cooperative when you are trying to process pet insurance claims.

We had an extremely negative experience at this office. It's hard to even know where to begin and it's been something that has caused our family a lot of unhappiness. We brought our new puppy to this animal hospital to get his regular vaccinations. Upon booking we had requested a specific vet who we had dealt with previously with our prior pet. We were assured that he would be who would see our dog. That unfortunately was not the case and our appointment was full of miscommunication and discomfort. When we received our puppy back he was extremely unhappy. Obviously no human or animal is happy getting shots but we were unable to really get any useful information from the vet who saw him. They could not get us off the phone fast enough and it was extremely upsetting. We called with some concerns about his behaviour that night and never received a phone call back. We have since gone to another animal hospital that has been nothing short of wonderful and has reassured us that our experience here was not normal. We were not advised anything about deworming, pet mental health and a whole whack of other things our new vet is helping us with. Overall, Richmond animal hospital was not caring, not knowledgeable and cared more about pumping pets in and out to make money rather than caring about these animals that mean so much to their families. Shame on you.

My dog had a cystectomy in Richmond Animal Hospital. She had serious hematuria and require surgery to remove abnormal growth in her bladder. The surgery is kind of complicated one, as there were a lot of polyp-like growth insider her bladder. Part of her bladder wall has to be removed. My dog had received excellent pre and post surgery care. During the survey, the surgeon Dr.Schaufele even phoned me to see if I would like to have my dogs teeth to clean up while she is sleeping. My dog recovered really well. There were no complications at all. The cost of the surgery including the teeth cleaning is at the lowest of the estimate. I was very well informed of my dog's status during the whole experience. I am highly recommend the Richmond Animal Hospital.

They were most helpful to my husband & I when we had to bring in not one, but two of our kitties..one diagnosed with cancer who eventually passed away & the 2nd who passed shortly after. Finally found a reliable vet practice! Support staff are friendly, understanding and non judgmental. Brought in our senior cat that we took in 10 years ago, thinking it would be a temporary homestay. I guess she grew on us more than we would have thought! Came in on suspicions of hyperthyroidism. Previous vets that I have visited have been condescending and/or pushy on high cost procedures while underplaying alternative treatments that may not be as profitable. Pricing is transparent and fair. I believe financing is available for those who require it? Owning pets are expensive - double check! Finally, Cindy, the receptionist? And Dr. Chipperfield were both extremely professional and patient. Genuine concern was shown throughout the process. Would highly recommend! Great experience though. Social distancing is maintained. Bonus: pictures of Kitty, our 15? year old grandma cat leading up to her visit.????

We've taken all of our Boxers here. The staff is very warm and kind and even when the dogs definitely don't want to be there, they are able to still keep them calm. Dr.Shafelalelefeale is very knowledgable and gentle with animals. If they made a Grey's Anatomy for Vets, he would probably be one of the main characters that all the ladies have crushes on and make excuses to bring their pets in to see him. The front desk staff is always very helpful, and they always make you feel "remembered" (maybe because they have all of my information on their computer screen?) and ask how my dog is doing. People always ask my Boxer "Who's a good girl!?", but the staff at Richmond Animal Hospital ask the more important question, "How's a good girl?!" 10/10, will keep getting dogs so I can keep bringing them here.

Great doctor and staff! They're all very responsive, warm, and welcoming. It was our first time here and we had a great experience. They're very patient answering all our questions and attending to our concerns. You can tell they're passionate in what they do and took care of our baby very well. They also gave us a welcome package with essentials for our new dog and for being there for the first time. :) Dr. Mak gave us a lot of information, so we could take care of our dog better and make an informed decision. We didn't feel pressured to avail their services at all and they charge at a reasonable price. I could tell they have a lot of clients, which I thought would affect the quality of service they provide, but it was definitely not the case. Their telephone line can be busy though, and may need few attempts to get an answer. Overall, we're happy that we brought our baby Teddy here. It feels reassuring having professional people, like the staff here at Richmond Animal Hospital, who can look after our dog and help keep them healthy. Thank you all so much.

We just pick up our Frenchie Mai Dou麦兜 from Richmond animal hospital about an hour ago for his grooming service. It's the very first time we tried Richmond Animal hospital for forming service. We have to say that we are very impressed. We've been to many different grooming salon either Victoria or Vancouver area. This is the only one that allows Mai Dou play around instead of put him into crate straight. We were worried that he might get overexcited when he has beautiful ladies and other dogs around. He was soooo happy there and the employees love him as well. It never happened before. After he got back home he was so calm and well-behaved. We were so happy that we finally find a great grooming place for Mai Dou. The employee are so nice and patient. We are very satisfied with the service and will bring him back again as a part of his monthly routine. Thank you guys so much!

Although I live in Vancouver near many veterinary clinics, I only go to the Richmond Animal Hospital for our annual check ups and any health concerns. I have been a client for almost 10 years, and they consistently provide the best care and treatment, and I trust them to look after my fur babies. Dr. Harrington is wonderfully patient and kind. I was very impressed by the way she interacted with my Shiba Inu that we rescued 6 months ago. During their first appointment together, Dr. Harrington was able to persuade my anxious little girl to let her examine her all over, all without any complaining (or Shiba screaming!). I highly recommend the Richmond Animal Hospital and I'm really glad that we came across their veterinary clinic - I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

This was the best experience I've had with a vet ever. As busy as it is and with the restrictions due to Covid everyone took the time to put our minds at ease with regards to our pets' first visit. We were not charged for unneccessary tests or procedures as we had been with our previous vet and felt better educated on what we need to do now to better care for our babies. Even the other clients in the waiting room are always friendly, something I've never really experienced at other vet practices. People keep recommending me to other vets that offer the same services at lower prices, but I feel that I get my money's worth at Richmond Animal Hospital so I won't be exploring other options any time soon. I even transferred my senior dog to their care after seeing what a great job they've done with my puppy. One of the biggest draws for me as well is their integration with technology. I lead a very busy life and I'm not always able to call in during their business hours, so it's nice to be able to organize things electronically on my own. It's even better that I can check my dogs' medical history online whenever I want, as well as order refills on meds, and schedule appointments. Thank you Richmond Animal Hospital!

We've been going to Richmond Animal Hospital for around three years since we first got our cat. It's true what they say that you don't appreciate what you had until you lose it. We recently moved and had to find a new vet in our area, and it was just a complete and horrible nightmare. In the three years prior to that, we've been with Richmond Animal Hospital, and we've never had any issues. The Doctors are all incredible - we've worked with Dr. Chipperfield, Dr. Crofts, and Dr. Shaufele, and all of them were extremely compassionate, very knowledgeable, and overall provided fantastic care to our cat. Even for routine checkups, it was the doctors who did the exams and all of the vaccinations, and not vet techs like other animal hospitals. They would always give us a lot of attention and answered any questions we had. It is slightly pricier but for the wellbeing of your four legged family member, it is 100% worth it. With our new vet (not Richmond Animal Hospital), our cat had a bad reaction to a vaccine but we weren't able to reach the new vet, there was no emergency number, no voice mail, no nothing in the middle of a business day. Dr Crofts was awesome with him, she had him feeling safe and comfortable immediately. He made it through the entire visit without having a total panic attack. The crew here is amazing, and they always go above and beyond to continue helping our dog become more comfortable and confident with the experience. Dr Schaufele is really great also, he is always willing to take time to explain things. Miranda is our pup's absolute favourite and Josie is a super close second favourite for him. AND our go to groomer, Lisa! Love her, she is amazing with Lucky and she does the best job on nails on a our pup who hates his nails done????. After visiting the clinic, I got an email asking if there was anything they could do to improve their service and this was my response: You couldn’t ... as a first time client everything was up to my expectations and more . The phone staff were kind l, compassionate and accommodating. The check in clerk was friendly and engaging . Dr. Ubi was patient , understanding and very approachable over the phone and very knowledgeable. He came up with an initial diagnosis, a possible plan moving forward and was not pushy at all allowing me to make an informed decision based on his recommendations. He made himself completely available to any of my questions and concerns .I am very happy this far and will be a repeat client . Also it should be noted they have great COVID protocols , unfortunately you can’t go into the office or accompany your pet, and this totally makes sense . Communication with the vet occurs by phone and they are very prompt to contact you and discuss your individual circumstances. They also minimize contact with you outside and use their own leashes . I think it’s great and keeps everyone safe .

I have had several pets over the years and their doctor has been Michael SCHAUFELE since 1996.... every pet has been well taken care ...one went into respiratory arrest while boarding and was resuscitated by Dr. SCHAUFELE who personally revived my dog...I have a cat now as there is no boarding for dogs anymore at the hospital .....We live in an airport city and fly a lot...and only trust this place for boarding and for when our animals became ill...!!!

I switched to this Veterinary clinic out of convenience and proximity to my home. At first I perused all the positive reviews they had received and I have to say - they completely measured up and exceeded my expectations. They were able to see my dog within a couple of days and Dr. Harrington was on time. She fully engaged with me and took the time to really listened to my concerns about my dog's health. They ran some blood and urine tests and the results were fine. She then took the time to personally call me after hours to discuss the lab results and went even further the next day to compare them to lab results from another vet the year prior. All in all, she gave me peace of mind, made some excellent recommendations, wasn't pushing any products or services on me at all and really felt that she cared about my dog and made a great connection with us. I would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Harrington to any other pet owner.

I’ve been helped by this vet countless times for my now 3 kitties/ cat. They’re always there for me even in very tough situations and are always compassionate and extremely helpful. I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for my family and fur babies. Dr Tso helped Buddy numerous times with situations such as lily poisoning, G.I infections, and stomach ulcers and as well as my other two kittens Coco and Mycroft with their infections such as giardia and ringworm. I feel like I call this vet so often yet I always leave very happy and relaxed whenever I feel there’s a problem. They always have trained and helpful staff to fix or at least create a solution to the problems at hand. I especially want to thank Moe, Manda , Michelle, Dr.Tso and Dr. Mak as well as many other staff members that I either didn’t get their name or I have forgotten (sorry my memory has been awful lately). Due to Covid, both myself and my S/O lost our jobs and could not afford treatment for our ferret, but the wonderful staff at the hospital did everything they could to lower the cost. Just want to give a huge thanks to Richmond Animal Hospital, our cat Izzy was really sick one Saturday night, because Richmond Hospital was closed on a Sunday we use a Prominent (not for profit) Richmond vet, we paid around $1100 .Izzy was still sick and not eating 5 days later we thought it better to go back to the same vet that did all the tests'. I was shocked when they said they were too busy to squeeze Izzy in!!! they did say Izzy should get into a vets asap. We called Richmond Animal Hospital and explained the situation, not only did they get us in right away, but they also contacted this other vet and obtained all Izzy's results. Richmond Animal Hospital obviously know what they are doing because Izzy is back eating and well on the way to recovery. One thing I forgot to mention, we didn't spend anywhere near the amount we did with first vet, yet Richmond Animal Hospital texted and e-mail a few days later asking how Izzy was, we didn't hear anything from the first vet. I'm giving Richmond Animal Hospital a 12 out of 10.

Richmond Animal Hospital was recommended to us after our 15-week old kitten knocked over a soy-wax candle and got it all over himself. Before that, we did extensive online research and gave him TWO baths (disaster). The staff at RAH were prompt to answer our call, friendly, and were very kind. Signage and verbal instructions are very clear. Once there, they were also prompt to come to the door and it only took 10 minutes for them to assess our kitten. They commended us for taking out most of the wax, and that there was no need to shave him; he should groom the rest out (safely) by himself. They even gave him a nail trim! I was thankful yet skeptical at first, but after three days, our kitten is just as fluffy as he was before the incident. They were right! Even though we have our own vet in Richmond, we continue to be grateful to RAH and highly recommend them to everyone.

Poor quality, not professional, not reliable, and not responsive - These are my descriptions of this clinic. Not only did they give double vaccination to my dog (despite having repeated told them my dog had already been vaccinated) but also they lied in front of my face saying they did not vaccinate my dog, yet they had the audacity to charge me for the double vaccination which led to a four-day diarrhea for my dog. Moreover, their level of service is unbelievable bad. The vet never bothered calling me for a consultation after a checkup (despite charging me $50 for it). The positive reviews are mostly paid bots.

I have been to a few vets in Richmond and I really appreciate the staff here. One year on thanksgiving, my dog was attacked by another dog and bit on the neck. We originally thought it was okay because she didn't really bleed but my dog had a lot of fur so we did not notice the severity of it. Later in the day, we noticed that my dog was in pain, and the vets at dear animal hospital gave me consulting on what to do on a holiday and answered his cell phone at 8pm which pretty much saved my dog. I was able to get an emergency appointment the next day. Really really thankful of them.

Not a very pleasant visit last time. I didn't ask for nail clipping but they did it and my cat was bleeding. They cleaned the ears of my cat and end up touching the eye nerves of my cat. He ends up having one large one small pupils for months without cure. He also got 3 shots on the visit. One is antibiotic to cure the acne, one is rabies, another one some other preventive shot. that's insane to have so many shots all at once. I asked the vet and the doctor said it's fine but later on i read about over-vaccine can cause cancer on pets. I will not take my cat to this hospital again.

We've been taking our pets here for many years after not being able to see a Vet in our previous clinic during an emergency for our husky/malamute. We were given an appointment within 20 minutes and have been bringing our furry family members here since. Dr. Crofts is fantastic and very caring. She's super knowledgeable and doesn't push unnecessary treatments. I have read some comments about the high cost, but you're getting what you pay for, from the friendly front line staff who seem to know everyone and their pets to the techs and the Vets. I probably should have written one a while ago after switching vets. I found the staff at Richmond Animal Hospital are caring and friendly. Over the few years, appointments and experiences there were great. Everyone was kind and gentle with my Bailey. When we went to RAH, Dr Haage, Dr Crofts, Dr Chipperfield, and Dr Schaufele took care of my Bailey. I wish we had switched to RAH earlier. Recently, Bailey’s health took a downturn and the need for the hardest decision to make as a fur parent came up very fast, I don’t think I could’ve been prepared in any circumstances. The last bit of time was all about what was best for Bailey, and that I understood why the hard decision was the best gift I could give Bailey under the circumstances. They cared about the pet parent too and spent time to make sure after Bailey had crossed over, that I was ok. About their prices, it was fair in comparison to others we had visited in the past but the quality of care is very good, Bailey deserved quality care. I would have paid what ever it took if it meant Bailey could spend more time, quality days with me. RAH had built up trust with me and that was important for me to trust people who take care of Bailey. Over the years, they took the time to make sure I understood any concerns, what tests are needed and why, what the medications are for and answered any questions I had. Thank you to the staff at Richmond Animal Hospital for the care, the kindness and the respect you gave to my Bailey. I’m still having a very difficult time with the loss, but you all tried to help ease the pain, and I appreciate your kindness and concern. Physical check for my dog and charged 96 dollars. Dr. told me my dog everything is normal. But he doesn’t want to play and walking so slow. Sleepy for whole day. The month of August 2017 was a tough month for us as the youngest member of our family was definitely not 100%. The vets and staff members at Richmond Animal Hospital provided us with excellent care, support and kindness. This was greatly appreciated yesterday when we had to let our Oreo leave. Though filled with sadness in our hearts, through our communication with the vet, we knew that it was the right time. They were with us all the way. If one is looking for good care for their family member, we have no hesitation in recommending Richmond Animal Hospital. They definitely are one of the BEST!

The staff at the front desk are super friendly and helpful and you can tell that they genuinely love animals. The attitude of staff is truly indicative of how the employer treats them - and clearly they are all treated well and love what they do. My rescue dog Buckey is fearful of humans but loves Dr. Haage. I really trust him and I think Buckey does too :) You can tell he loves dogs and is looking out for her best interest. Dr. Chipperfield is also very good - I called two days ago in a panic as I thought my dog was going in to anaphylaxis. She stepped on some sort of insect and was having trouble breathing, walking and her gums were white. We rushed her over and Dr. Chipperfield saw her right away. I had one encounter with Dr. Crofts and won't use her ever again which is easy enough as there are several vets in this office. Highly recommend coming to this vet office.

I recently got a kitten and it’s my first time owning a pet. Richmond Animal Hospital have truly been the best! Friendly, responsive, and very professional. They’re very patient when answering my many questions! Definitely recommend them for anyone, you’re definitely in good hands. Dr. Mack deserves a big shout out. She’s very knowledgeable and professional. Also, Aleesha and Aly are top notch veterinary professionals and you can see they’re very passionate and great at their jobs.

I don't know what to say. Completely unresponsive. It doesn't matter how good or how many vets are working there, they have a completely unreliable outward face. Just trying to order medication refills is a terrible process, lack of communication, while my dog suffers.

We brought our dog here earlier this year for a general checkup and his annual shots. The staff and veterinarians we met were all very polite, conscientious and took really good care of our dog both for his annual checkup and for a tooth cleaning/extraction (he cracked a tooth chewing on something) that followed. I especially appreciated their excellent communication of information during the checkup, lab results, various treatment options available and their professional recommendations... all without any sense of pressure or being sold something. This is a good veterinary clinic.

Brought in my senior long-haired stranger-shy cat for wash and trim. He's needed sedation in the past to get it done but was happily surprised to pick him up and find he didn't need it this time. Will definitely go back in a few months when he needs another trim. Drop-off, payment and pick-up handled smoothly by friendly staff.

The vet and staff were great! Had to get our cat in during COVID for some "emergency" grooming to remove mats and do her yearly shots, and everything went great! The vet did a great job at grooming even though she isn't a groomer, and our kitty is enjoying her new haircut, and is happy and healthy. They were very easy to deal with and up front about all the procedures and costs. We have found our new vet <3

Just got my first puppy and thought I’d give this place a chance since I live really close. Dr. Chipperfield went beyond what I expected of her. She was amazing and answered every single question I had for her and I asked her quite a bit. She was enthusiastic and was happy to answer all of them. She showed my puppy Rocky to everyone including their own dogs and sent me home with some goodies. Great place and will continue to come back for all my pets needs.

Today was a very sad day for us as we had to put our dog Koby to sleep. Richmond Animal Hospital has taken care of Koby since he was a puppy, and they have been absolutely excellent in every way. All the staff who work there are so professional, so caring, so helpful. The doctors never tried to upsell me on treatments or proscribe unnecessary tests. I have always felt they always did what was necessary for his care, which was very important in the last couple of years as his health declined, but were always practical in their approach. They were empathetic, reasonable and professional in every way. Special thanks to Dr Crofts and Dr Schaufele and Dr Chipperfield for the care you gave Koby all these years and to the front office staff for all their help and empathy.

I took my bunny in for a spay as they are one of only a few veterinary clinics who take small animals in Richmond. I was so worried as she is my first Bunny and I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I dropped her off, we were met with friendly reassuring faces which eased my anxiety. I was worried the next day too when Bunny didn’t go back to her normal habits, so I called to ask if I should be concerned. They fit me in right away despite having a busy schedule, and I didn’t even wait that long for Bunny to see a doctor. Again I was reassured that all is well and was provided with clear instructions on how to help her... and true enough Bunny was fine and was back to her normal habits a few hours later. As for the cost of the surgery and follow up visit, they offer affordable rates which takes away any added stress. Thank you Richmond Animal Hospital... I’ll make sure to bring my other fur and feather babies to your clinic from here on out. :). Susie

Ive been going to Richmond Animal Hospital for about 20 years and have always received the best of care for my dogs, and I’ve had a few. Dr. Schaefle and Dr Crofts have been my vets and they are very knowledgeable, and very companionate to my dogs as well as to me. The front staff are always warm and welcoming as well. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They go the distance when taking care of your beloved pet!

We moved out of the province over a year ago and we miss Richmond Animal Hospital so much. We have tried 3 different well rated vet clinics in our new province and they dont compare to the care we recieved at RAH. They always provided a wealth of information to allow us to make informed decisions for our dog Finn. They never pushed medication on us if it wasn't necessary. If I could I would drive from pretty far away to go there for my dogs care. We miss you all!

Tiger is our first puppy. We’ve never had a pet before and it is really a challenge for us. Dr. Schaufele is very nice. He gave us very detailed information about feeding, housebreaking, socialization and health maintenance about puppy. Tiger was a bit nervous at clinic but we can tell he likes Dr. Schaufele.

The staff here are very caring and take the time to get to know you and your pet. Never felt like they were trying to rush us out to get to the next pet patient and never tried selling us anything extra. It's a really bad experience. We made an appointment on the phone and We were pretty sure that our appointment was at 11am but when we arrived they told us our appointment was at 1040am and they never have 11am open for that day. First time to this clinic but also the last time.
