We offer you the feddbacks of people like you who buy the products and services of North Shore Veterinary Clinic (Veterinarian) in British Columbia area (Canada).
Right now this business has a score of 4.7 out of 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is virtually the top, and it's founded on a very high number of reviews, so we can conclude that the evaluation is very faithful. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Veterinarian corresponds to the category of Veterinarian.
Great staff, amazing with our 4 legged family member.
Always great service and so accommodating.
We have only had good experiences here. Friendly staff!
Great care for my dog. I recommend.
Had the best experience so far. The doctor came outside to talk to me and spend quite some time trying to figure out what’s happening with my puppy! Felt comfortable and part of the process. Highly recommend this clinic.
Very good service .
They are very accommodating and took my kitty in to be checked out on a moments notice, in between their appointments. Because they didn't have an appointment available. It was clear to me that they put the needs of our furry friends above the convenience of their work day. They have all been very caring in my experience so far. Based on my experience of 3 other vets on the North Shore, I wouldn't trust my girls with anyone else now. I also appreciate that they don't shame you when you simply want to be clear on what the expense will be, as other vets have done on the North Shore. Of course my animals come first AND I want to know what I'll be looking at. Also and this is big: they are partnered with VOKRA (Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association) and I believe subsidize the costs of shots, spaying/neutering etc. Respect!
Very nice to my pup. ????????????
Super friendly staff. Our puppy doesn't mind going to the vet. Awesome.
Really great staff. Great manners and communication. I know my pets are in great hands here.
Some of the best people on the northshore to take care of furry friends even if your pets aren't furry !!!
Treated our dog well
Great staff, great doctors and fantastic facilities. Took us a very long time to find a vet clinic we were happy with after me moved here and we struck gold.
Friendly and helpful. My pup actually loves going there!!
Fantastic clinic, wonderful staff. I can always rely on the veterinarians here for good honest advice. All I can say to other pet owners is invest in good pet insurance that offers Preventative or Wellness based coverage that will help cover the costs for diagnostics IE imaging, blood work, urine analysis, stool examination; vaccinations, and dental. The cost is comparable to our health insurance, but it's good coverage. North Shore Veterinary Clinic does not do direct billing; however, they usually have the insurance forms printed out and will fax the claim/receipt for you. It is an absolutely wonderful clinic. :)
My dog actually gets excited when we pull into the North Shore Veterinary Clinic. The staff genuinely care about th animals that come through as well as the owners. The care is unmatched and I'm so grateful for the team at this clinic.
I have had kitties my entire life, so I've been to many an animal hospital when the need arose. When treatment was needed for my little boy, Foster, my daughter recommended the North Shore Veterinary Clinic. Her own little boy had received outstanding, compassionate treatment there, so I had no hesitation in contacting them. This hospital is, without question, the finest I've ever encountered by far. Each member of the 'pet family', as they consider themselves, is dedicated to the loving care of each pet coming to them for treatment. It's evident from the moment you enter and approach the front desk. Foster received gentle care throughout his examination with Dr. Kathy Sang and her assistants, all of whom made the experience stress-free for both my kitty and me. They have a 'toy lady' on staff who creates little soft toys for the kitties, and Foster left with one of them, which he's cuddling as I write. Thanks to their wonderful care he is recovering from his illness and is his old self. I feel so fortunate to have this hospital and staff as caregivers to my fur babies. Each staff member is dedicated to the atmosphere of loving support. Each is knowledgeable, experienced, and aware that teamwork is everything - and they clearly do it with love. Their follow-up calls have been wonderful, and an opportunity for me to give feedback on Foster's progress. Never before have I experienced such a 'pet family', and I am forever in my daughter's debt for introducing me to the finest veterinary team there is.
Reliable and trustworthy! Exactly what you want from your pets doctor
Super friendly and very informative. Helped us out, twice, on short notice.
These people love animals and it shows. We come here for our cats and they are always so gentle and caring with them. They have amazing customer service skills. I have never had a vet walk me through the treatment plan like the one I've had here. I would recommend them to everyone.
I called this clinic as my own clinic turned me down when my dog accidently ate a peach pit (then again, she's a Lab; it was waiting to happen in Peach season). I called, they were quick and helpful offering their service as a walk-in. They took great care of my Stella, and she came out happy as a clam (only a lab would do that after induced vomiting) thank you so much :) I really appreciate you taking the time to see her right away!
Cleaned up a broken nail on my puppy's paw. Suggested plastic cone, antibiotics. We asked for some nails to be clipped. $27. Total cost for near nothing: $206.00. -- Never again.
Fantastic vet clinic, the vets and staff are always informative and helpful. One of our cats was quite ill (kidney disease) and they have been very supportive through the process.
Very friendly, helpful staff.
They are very caring and services helpful
We've been taking our pets to this clinic for about a year now. They have since renovated the clinic to make it bigger and more modern. Looks really nice. They staff is really friendly and helpful. They're really nice with our pets.
These people care about our pets. They take great care of both ends of the creatures, and the middle as well. This business has my trust.
I've been a client since 2009 and couldn't be happier. They've always taken care of my boy(American Bulldog named Blanco) with the most professional and loving service I could ask for. Everyone that works there loves the animals as if it's their own and are some of kindest and intelligent people I've met in the industry. Don't second guess, all pets deserve the qulity of service given here. Some of the best doctors around and I can't say enough about the amazing front end staff. Thank you North Shore Veterinary for everything you do for my boy.
North Shore Vet Clinic was so great when my dog got neutered. He was licking his stitches and wounds and they were super flexible by letting me come in and check him out whenever I needed help. Jen helped me by applying his ointment when I couldn't do it alone. The front desk staff helped me find a solution when he got around his cone. It has been so helpful having this awesome team behind my back making sure my doggo is back to 100%
Had my two kittens spayed and neutered here recently and was super impressed. Very large, clean, professional office with friendly staff. The vet called as soon as the operations were over to give us an update and then followed up the next day also. When picking up the kittens, a technician sat down with us and explained everything in detail. An added bonus was that, unlike other places, they give IV fluids during the procedures. Also, even though I live in Vancouver (as opposed to North Van), it was super easy to find and get to the place - just over the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge.
They have looked after my kitty since she was four months old. I do trust them and would not go else where.
Friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff - receptionist, technicians and vets. Accommodating and understanding. Competent and practical advice. Quick assessment and effective treatment. Cost is reasonable and good value for service received. One of the best vets anywhere. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff REALLY great with pets. Loving and caring .
Great staff and very knowledgeable doctor, Chris made our first visit for our 2 kittens very painless. We were pleasantly surprised how well behaved our kittens were throughout their checkup & vaccination.
Great staff and doctors. Glad we found this clinic.
Great advice + care for my pets!
Very considerate and caring and knowledgeable.
Super organized and friendly staff that really take the time to make sure your pet is comfortable and that they can figure out the issue. I've seen three different vets there and have been impressed with the knowledge and efficiency of them all. They are also great in emergency situations and don't overcharge. I have no qualms about leaving my puppy there because I know hes in good hands.
The vets are the best. Well spoken, understand their clientele's issues. Really perfect place to take your "baby"....
I had a pleasant experience today at the clinic. The doctor and staff were very helpful and very friendly. We brought our 10 week old puppy there for her shots and they helped with cutting her nails(wasnt sure if it was free or not they forgot to provide the invoice detail) and gave her a bandana. Anyways I was quite hapy with the experience????????
I have been going here for a number of years with our two little dogs, this clinic had been very welcoming and professional in their profession. Unfortunately I don't live in the area anymore but when I'm passing through l still get supplies from them.
The staff are super knowledge, patience, kind and loving.
I totally trust them at all times to have the best interest of the pet in mnd.
My three dogs are patients at North Shore Veterinary Clinic and they have always received good care and I have received polite and professional service. I normally see Dr.Gorrie and Dr.Clement and both are wonderful veterinarians.
Really good service. I got call-backs. They told me what the options were. I got a reminder call. I sorta wish the medical system worked more like this.
Thorough and caring staff.
BEST CLINIC IN GREATER VANCOUVER! I have been a client of theirs for over two years. I have 3 pets; 2 big dogs and a cat. I have had a few serious issues come up over the years and every single time North Shore Vet Clinic has been more than helpful, kind, accommodating and extremely professional with their care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet clinic. Issues ranging from my dogs getting into a chicken bone/garbage can incident, tooth surgery for my cat, ear mites and the yearly check ups and vaccinations, I have had a lot of interactions with them and have always left feeling happy and with my pets on the mend. My cat is on a prescription food diet and they always have it in stock and I can buy it in any amount I need based one my budget at the time. I have been a pet owner for over 30 years and this place impresses me beyond expectation. When I moved to the neighbourhood they were able to transfer my pet's files and information from our last vet with no problem. They do direct billing for pet insurance and email invoices. I am a super happy customer. Their prices are very very fair and reasonable, considering the level of care they provide every day. :)
Very friendly staff. The veteranarian was very helpful, and described everything with the right amount of detail and was open to questions. They were also very caring when it came to our cats.
When we started bringing our dog to North Shore Vets when he was a puppy, we initially had a lovely first experience, even though the clinic was clearly adapting to COVID-19 related changes. That being said, our experience changed drastically once our dog was actually ill. Based on other reviews, it does sound like there are some wonderful doctor's at the clinic who are caring, consistent, and knowledgable. However, our experience was anything but this, and we have actually made the decision to move care to another clinic entirely. Our 1 year old dog was quite sick, and we were able to get a last minute appointment which was greatly appreciated. At the end of that appointment, we were still unclear as to what was going on, and were sent home with some antibiotics. However, over the following 2 weeks symptoms persisted, and we were growing more and more concerned. The clinic was wonderful about calling us daily to check-in, but that was as far as that went. I repeatedly expressed during those check-ins that my dog was still not better, that we had been unable to switch him back to his original food, and that I was becoming worried. Every time I spoke to someone, I received a different response. I was told that it was 1 thing, and then another, and then to do this, not to do this, etc etc. It was very confusing; not something you want as a pet owner. Finally after TWO WEEKS, we were able to speak to the treating doctor. Very judgmentally, we were told "well... if he isn't better on the antibiotics and not on his regular food, why are you still doing that?". This was our first red flag, because this is WHAT WE HAD BEEN TOLD TO DO. We followed his advice, things returned to normal. Enter today: unfortunately, my dog's symptoms have re-appeared. We connected with North Shore Vet, to be met with the same inconsistency and lack of answers. The lovely receptionist, Chelsea, was very kind during this process which I do not want to go unnoticed. However, the treating vet had essentially just wanted to put him on a different type of antibiotic, or give him a probiotic, without spending any effort whatsoever to determine why my dog had been sick for almost 1 month. In addition, it felt as if the vet had not even bothered to read the chart as he repeated a recommendation that previously did not work, and had actually been advised AGAINST by another vet at the clinic. More contradiction and confusion. When selecting a vet for your animal, you want to be confident that your pet is in the best care. With the amount of contradiction, lack of consistency, and utter judgment we received at this clinic, I would never recommend it to anyone. This vet has many doctors on staff, whom change each day which creates a very difficult situation when you are not even able to speak to the same vet daily. I'm sorry that our experience turned so negative, and I hope that other pet owner's will think twice about taking their vets to such a busy and obviously over-worked clinic.
I have taken my dog here while in the city for many years. The staff have always been polite and professional, and the care received good. What doesn't work for me is the philosophy of treating everything. I brought in my 15 year old dog with incontinance. They recommended a battery of testing and treatment that was completely out of step with reality. It is not appropriate to spend thousands and put an old dog through painful tests and procedures. My dog is old. Really old. She has lived a good life and deserves to be made comfortable in her last years. When I wanted to refill my dog's prescription for meloxicam they told me it is "back ordered" for months and would only sell me meticam instead. Meloxicam is 0.57 cents a month, and meticam is $130 a month. Same medication. Brand name vs. Generic. Refused to give me a prescription to get a it at human pharmacy. This medication (for stiffness) changes my dogs life and allows mobility. I am so sad to think of how many animals live in pain due to this seeming inability to get past money and work to reduce suffering. How terrible it must feel to be a pet lover who can't afford the extra money. Very upsetting.
They drugged my dog. DO NOT COME HERE.
Excellent customer service! Sally was very comfortable with the vet who addressed my concerns and gave me options in treatment. Very clean and FREE coffee while you wait! Felt reassured after our appointment. Highly recommend them!
Kind staff and knowledgeable vets.
Very good experience so far. Very friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. The vet was very calm and patient with us and our pup and took her time. We also spayed our pup here and the experience was very good. They even called the next day to check up on her.
Best Vet anywhere. Concern is about pet, you and that's it. If you are financially challenged they will do their best to accommodate and they never try to sell you anything. Nicest staff i.c ever felt with. I've taken 2 dogs and 2 cats here since about 2012 and they've been there for us when 3 of those passed on. Simply outstanding service. The photos are of our newest edition, Fable, Mistress of Menace, Duchess of Oof.
Initially I chose this Veterinary clinic based in previous reviews and word of mouth. They have an outstanding reputation in the community and so far I have only good feelings about this place. We are in the season of COVID-19 and businesses are operating a little different than before. We've brought our kitten for his 8 week and 12 week vaccinations. Unfortunately, only the pets can go in so you don't see what's happening. While your pet is inside you wait in the parking lot and the staff phone you for a consultation. As far as I have experienced our 2 first visits the staff all seem warm and professional. The two different Drs who've seen our kitten have both been informative and shared some great advice on each visit. It's difficult to speak to much else as you are sitting outside. First impressions are all positive and we plan to continue having North Shore Veterinary Clinic as our primary care provider for our kitten.
Update (Sept 2021): Over the past few months, the team at North Shore Vet Clinic has been exceptional, walking us through the best approach for our cats. We discussed sedation protocols and crate training, all of which have proved successful. Today, we finally had our visit and it was a success! We were greeted warmly and supported by a staff member trained in 'Fear Free' to help with our cat's anxiety. Due to COVID, we couldn't enter the clinic, but the appointment was quick and uneventful. The vet called soon after with a quick review - clean bill of health! We want to thank everyone at North Shore Vet for turning a challenging first experience into a positive one for our pets and their happy owners! Update (May 2021): We received a very quick response regarding our concern. Original Post (May 2021): Staff was nice and very responsive but the Dr. was unprofessional and we felt awful after this visit. This clinic seems to want only well-behaved animals. They do not want animals who are anxious having been rescued from the street. Not every cat has had a good life in the past. We brought in our newly adopted rescue cat. You couldn’t check him because of his stressed out behaviour... okay, but you brought up that the cat caused damage in the exam room. We apologized but why did you bring this up? This felt unprofessional and judgemental and left us with a bad feeling. The vet shouldn’t make us feel guilty, especially when we don’t know the cat’s background. We are supposed to bring him back in a month because they couldn’t check him, so we have to put him through the stress of another vet visit. And I felt like they don’t want us back, and we’re hesitant to go there again.
I took my second dog there to get spayed. Her bill came back with two extra charges. These charges were not on my first dogs spay visit. I was never asked if I wanted extras done to my dog, nor did I budget for a 295$ surgery to top 560$. This clinic is just a rip off, go elsewhere please!
Cleaness nicest vet hospital in the lower mainland.
Dr Rocky takes good care of my boy Kipling. The reception staff are friendly, patient and helpful.
I just started taking my dog Kayley to the North Shore Veterinarian Clinic. I'm very pleased that they are taking the appropriate procedures for Covid. They are keeping people outside while doing triage, then taking the dog inside, and the doctor is calling us while we wait in the parking lot to discuss any requirements. Everybody was very friendly and professional. Very pleased to have found a new vet for my golden retriever!
Great service, caring staff and good precautions for everyones safety.
We visited Dr. Jessica Lam per recommendation from our friend and we were beyond impressed by Dr. Lam’s knowledge and care. Our dog had an issue with his eyes - we visited other vets about it but all of them brushed it off as if it was normal. Dr. Lam is very attentive and caring - When we spoke to Dr. Lam about our concerns, we finally felt like we were being heard. We showed her before and after pictures to explain to her what was going on. Some tests were done to ensure the proper treatment could be used. Our dog is now recovering very well and it’s all thanks to Dr. Lam! I would definitely recommend her to all my friends.
They are very friendly and I have had no issues with them.
Arrived early and they were able to fit is in which was great. Friendly service
Wow! An amazing team of animal lovers. Very friendly, efficient and made my puppy's first trip here super pleasant!
Great vet for our dog and cat ???? ???? Staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The parking lot can be crazy when it’s busy since all clients are being handled via telephone from their vehicle during COVID... it works pretty well, except when the lot is full and the place turns to total gridlock. ???? ???? ???? Ordering the special (prescription) food through their online service is easy and automatically applies any discounts to the order. Just head over and pick it up in person to save shipping.
I’ve been bringing my dogs here for 7 years now and have sung the praises of this vet clinic and referred everyone I know to them in that period. I’ve always felt my boys have been given the best care, that I knew the staff and they knew us well. It very much felt like a family physician style Unfortunately enter stage left Covid. Everyone and their mom got a pet so I get that they’ve become extremely busy but I feel that the service level has changed completely. I don’t know who any of the vets are anymore, am not allowed in the room so have zero idea of what kind of treatment they’re getting or anything. It makes me very uncomfortable and is frankly not the same clinic we originally signed up for. Every time you call or show up you end up on hold for at least 5-10 min. For example right how it’s a 25 degree day and I’m standing outside on hold waiting to be checked in for my appointment (which was scheduled for 15 min ago) with two brachiocephalic dogs. There’s no shade anywhere, there’s no water and to get water I have to call back and be put on hold again. Last time I came we mentioned our concerns to this be of the vet techs who basically responded with “well it’s too bad you feel that way. You’re free to go to another vet clinic.” I hope it changes but for now I just feel very disappointed and like we need to find somewhere new
Have always experienced great care and compassion here. They have been with us through 5 cats, 2 guinea pigs and a dog.
Lovely clinic, welcoming and professional staff... however, very expensive. Heck I guess all veterinary costs are, so maybe it's no worse than any other clinic, not sure. Just felt they went a bit overkill on pain medication and antibiotics for a relatively uncomplicated wound that ended up costing >$300... I figured it would just be a quick shave and clean-up. They're the experts though, so what do I know...
Limited parking, very nice staff.
We have a senior cat and a new puppy and we are so happy with the service that we have received. This is a fantastic veterinary clinic. All the staff truly love animals and treat your furbaby like their own. The receptionists and techs are all great, kind and friendly people. The doctors are wonderful and attentive as well. You can trust that the advice the staff gives you is reasonable and considerate of the different factors involved in your pet's situation. They will do their best to give you the most accurate picture of your pet's health and try to provide you with various options for treatment (if there are possible alternatives available) if you have budget issues or other concerns. We don't always have the same person treating our pets every time we bring them here, but we have had the pleasure of having many of the different doctors at this clinic treat our senior cat and new puppy and each experience has been great.
What a great crew. They love the babies that come in for help. They were very helpful to my cat and have been there for her for four years now. Thank you everyone.
We have been going to the NSVC for over 25 years, with both our dogs we have had. The staff, service, care, ...everything is deserving of 6 stars! We have nothing but good things to say. Highly, highly recommended.
Great vet but be careful. They tend to overcharge.
The staff is so friendly and kind, they really care about the animals there..????
UPDATED REVIEW Immediately after my initial review, the clinic reached out to me to discuss my concerns. They were considerate and professional and not only acknowledged by hesitation but went beyond my expectations to accommodate my dog, including outdoor exams and consults as well as having one of their techs who is Fear Free certified apart of my dogs Care plan. My dog underwent surgery and the following week the tech, the vet and the clinic manager all followed up with me on my dogs recovery and how I felt. Although our initial experience was not great, I am very impressed with their ability to rectify the situation and come up with a care plan to treat my dog. I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care I received from the clinic with my senior dog. My chihuahua is reactive and has a history of trauma which I have made the clinic aware of as he has been there before. They were adamant that I give him a sedative prior to the visit, which I did. I brought him in for a small lump on his lip, he is a 7 pound chihuahua and being unable to go into the clinic with him, I received a call from the doctor telling me they could not examine him due to his temperament. She was unable to address the reason I brought him in yet she proceeded to tell me he needed teeth removed and needed to come in for a dental. After the issue not being resolved or even addressed, the doctor was curt and cold in dealing with my dog. This clinic does not do well with animals that are reactive, temperamental or have a history of trauma. They proceeded to charge me for an exam my dog never received and wanting me to give him more sedation prior to the next visit. They then sent me a quote for $2000 to have the lump removed with all sorts of added expenses. I am no longer comfortable bringing my dog here as it always leaves me feeling money is more important to them then the care of my dog. If you have a dog or cat that isn't perfect, save your money and go else where.
My dog thinks this is the best place and gets so 3xcited for all the care and attention. Super friendly staff and vet care. Make the time to explain your options and give straight advice
Long established Veterinary clinic . We have taken a few of our pets there and are very happy with the service and care
We brought our senior dog to see Dr Horne, as our previous vets had not been able to help us with her various issues. He is kind, patient, and immensely knowledgeable, and gives each patient a huge amount of attention. This is in such contrast to our previous vet that we have been over the moon.
They are amazing, very friendly, helpful, professional and great with my dog. The staff really do take care of your animal. During this pandemic, they have really been there for our pets and putting in long hours. My dog has the worst allergies you can imagine and is a Jindo mix so not as well known. It has been stressful for all of us but switching to North Shore Vet was the best move even though we live in Surrey..it is worth the travel for great care. They are knowledgeable and my dog has come so far in the short time she has been with them. Couldn't recommend them enough to everyone.
Always amazing, thoughtful service - I particularly appreciate you being open during the pandemic - thank you!
Good friendly service
I'm so thankful that I did my research prior to taking my 8 year old pup to the clinic. I wanted to ensure I found a place with top notch DR's and excellent staff! This Vet clinic definitely exceeds all the core values for providing superior service. The professionalism starts at the from counter when your greeted by the administrative staff. They have properly educated vet techs and vet assistants which is extremely important! There are no corners cut here which is extremely important to me. I feel safe knowing that my pup is being treated by the best of the best! I want to personally thank Dr LO for her exceptional service. Finally after thousands and thousands of dollars spent ELSEWHERE, I have a diagnosis and now we can work towards recovery. I am so thankful for DR LO's attention to detail and high level of professionalism. I've done my research on this practise and I can say with great confidence that you can't go wrong at this clinic! It's worth the drive knowing my animals are in the care of the best of the best! My pup has had treatment for the past 6 months and is doing so well people are shocked when I tell them how old she is. To say I'm impressed is an understatement! I have nothing but gratitude. I'm so thankful for having the opportunity to have my pup around for years to come. Had I not found this place there is no doubt in my mind it would have been a different outcome! Thankful!
Very professional staff.
They take great care of our dog. I always feel like I’m in safe hands when my dog needs care.
Took great care of my dog, and took him in without an appointment.
The staff and Vets in this office are kind, caring, and skilled. They took great care of my dog Abby both before and after she had eye surgery. Also it was cheaper than original estimated which is always nice. My dog looks and already feels much better. Thanks guys. I'd recommend this vet clinic 100%
A friend of mine highly recommended this clinic and it worked for him because he has pet insurance. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the recommended amount of additional tests for my dog. After the initial blood test, the clinic recommended a follow-up test a week later. They were willing to give me a discount but I didn't proceed. My impression is they care about the pets but they care more about the $$$. After all it is a business but it has to be affordable for regular non insured people. I give them an average review because of this. We had our vet previously in Kamloops. Not only did they care tremendously about your pet, they were never out to gouge customers, took extra time and never overbilled you.
This clinic is the best in the lower mainland. They truly care for your pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
They are crooks. Long story short, every visit to Northshore Vet leaves me broke and without a resolution to the problem. Every time I go there I leave telling myself "never again"! I just lost $600 by getting treatment there when they should have told me to go straight to Can-West and not taken my money first. Criminals who aren't looking out for the well being of the animals.
I have been a client there for over 10 years. They have always been kind. My most recent trip there was to do what every pet owner hates, by putting my dog down.???????? However, the experience I had at their office was very heartwarming for what we had to do. Their staff is very compassionate and caring. I decided that I wanted to be with my dog while everything was happening. They specifically built a beautiful serene area at the back of the building for this exact reason. It was so nice and peaceful. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you all!!
I always appreciate everything they do for my dog Noah
Friendly staff, prompt service, appointments on short notice. My dog loves going here!
Very good service and they take such amazing care of our cats. Highly recommended.
Very understanding and professional
Fantastic front desk team & many wonderful, knowledgeable & caring vets to choose from.
I love their service and my border collie seems quite calm with all the vets and staff
Very impressed with the doctors and front desk staff. Thank you for treating my babies like babies :) I highly recommend this veterinarian.
One of the best vet clinics on the North Shore. Have used North Shore Vet for a few years now. The vets and staff are caring, thorough and do not suggest or push unnecessary procedures or medication on your pet (had used a vet previously that we came to realize was more about revenue). I would certainly recommend them.
incredible
Friendly staff, great atmosphere. They also encourage "happy visits" where you and your animal can just stop by for a treat, have a pet and hop on the scale to help ease their anxiety about the vet.
Very great place. Staff was friendly and the Vet was super knowledgeable.
We had such an exceptional experience at NSVC. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Clemett and Dr. Lo were extremely knowledgable, compassionate, knew of other specialists that they could connect us too, were not pushy at all but always gave us a full array of options. Was literally the only vet that our dog ended up looked forward to going to (which is a miracle). We took her there to finally put her down and the fact that our dog was calm (and joyfully eating treats) during her last moments means more than I can describe. Highly, highly recommend.
Friendly and compassionate staff. Great with cats.
We took our dog there today for the first time and we are very impressed. The doctor and all the staff were super gentle and friendly. They really took their time with our dog and made sure that was comfortable for the whole exam. We are super excited to have foumd our dogs permanent vet. Thank you.
We took our dog here for her shots when she was a puppy and when ever we were worried or needed help. Today, unfortunately, we had to put her to sleep to relieve her from her suffering. I cannot put into words how well the team help our family member (Lacey) and us get through the process. I’m a tough person to please, but these guys go above and beyond. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
We've been talking Brody here for 13 years and they are the best.
I have confidence that the vets here will take good care of my puppy. It's difficult to have the same vet see my pup each visit unless I can book ahead and often I need urgent care so I see whichever vet has the 1st appointment. However, they all seem genuinely caring and skilled. During covid I have only had contact with the vet by phone and am looking forward to meeting them in person.
Just had my first experience here with Dr. Clifton and it was absolutely stellar. We had to talk on the phone because of covid but she was very caring and talked to me about my dogs issues and different options we could take. She also even answered some questions about my cat. Thank you so much Dr. Clifton and we look forward to working with you more! Also shoutout to Becky at the front desk, she was so kind and sweet (we are new residents here all the way from California) and she was giving me tips on dog friendly places. Super fast quick and reliable service! Thank you guys! See you soon!
We wouldn't go anywhere else. The team is amazing. Trustworthy, they handle our pets like their own. They consult with us with all of our concerns in a great extend.I have never seen any one else care so much for animals like this staff. We drive all the way from east abbotsford for our visits and would go much further if we had to. Thank you so much for caring for our animals over twenty years
Great organization..difficult times but they make each visit a personal rewarding experience
I'm new just in July/August here. So far professional and friendly service. Very thorough and pleasant people to work with.
My dog Ziggy sees Dr. Jessica Lam for everything! I love how Dr. Lam is has a lot of experiences with small animals. She is caring and loving towards Ziggy and that is the most important. Not only she's skillful and careful with his tiny body (trust me, when you have a small dog those are important traits to have) she's also really into the animals, I can see the joy she has when she sees them. I don't trust anyone with Ziggy, so are my friends with small animals. We all travels from all over the city to see her!
The North Shore Veterinary clinic provides by far the best veterinary service in all of Vancouver! From the talented doctors, techs and support staff to the lovely and caring receptionists - the level of care is phenomenal. It really shows when people love their jobs, and take pride in their work. I can;t say enough good things about this veterinary team. HIGHLY recommend and well worth the travel if you are not located on the North Shore.
So we pay for cancelations but they cancel a day before for “scheduling errors”
