Customer service is not great, just called in with an inquiry and Brie the assistant was so rude. Someone with a bad attitude like this shouldn't be working in a vet clinic. Honestly go to Brookswood where you and your pet will be treated nicely. I don't feel comfortable bringing my dog in anymore as we don't know what goes inside doors, hopefully they treat the animals better than they treat their customers.

I wanted to update my review to 7 stars. I can't say enough good about Mountain View. During this time of Covid, the staff were gracious, helpful, courteous, and understanding. Though I cannot say anything negative about the staff at this vet clinic, as they are all nice people (from my experience), I do feel that what they are charging people for appointments is unfair. So be warned. You will pay a mandatory $75 exam fee regardless of the treatment. First of all, they don't tell you any of the costs of the appointment upfront. They only tell you at the very end what you will be paying and you don't actually receive the itemized bill unless you ask. This point alone is not okay. I feel you should always be made aware what the services will cost prior to agreeing to them. Secondly, they are charging $75 for a mandatory examination fee prior to receiving any vet care. I can understand bringing your pet to the vet because you believe there is some sort of health concern and then having to pay an examination fee, as the vet would need to find out what the problem is. This makes sense. However, the fact that I brought my kitten at the end of September for a deworming tablet and small flea treatment and it costed me $106 is insane. I didn't receive a copy of my bill, so I had no idea what I was actually paying for. I should have done my research prior to the appointment and that's my fault, however I wasn't aware that $75 of this cost was a mere 2 minute check up. Following this, I made the mistake to go back to this vet a few weeks later to get my kittens first vaccines. When I received my bill of $125 at the end of the appointment I was a little shocked, knowing that vaccines cost no more than $30 and a worming tablet is 8.99. I received my bill later that night and I saw that $75 was for the examination fee. I'm sorry, but I brought my kitten in a few weeks prior and what could have possibly gone wrong with her health in a mere few weeks that you would need to charge $75 for a quick exam? It's wrong. Taking people's money in this way is not okay. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson and have found another vet that does NOT charge extra for an exam fee when they are already providing you a service like vaccines, deworming, flea treatments, etc.

Well I'd put less than one star if possible. Both vets who handled my large dog came into the room nervous. The second visit they charged an "annual exam fee" but could barely get near him- this was likely due to the vet assistant who made zero effort to familiarize herself with the dog and when it came time to look in his ears- got right next to him and he freaked. Next visit- dog has terrible experience previously and is already stressed. DIFFERENT vet comes in, already apprehensive. Once over of the dog goes terribly and the VET begins to say things like "are you up for this?" And "good for you for taking on such a large dog, but can you handle it?" He is nothing short of perfect at home- the vet is a stressful place for him. Skip to a couple weeks later and I take him to be groomed.. NO ISSUES. 2 hour stint at the groomers, no issues. The groomer went as far as to say, "hey just make sure you bring him to me so we can keep bonding". The vet office is horrible. Not to mention it seemed like they had all been talking about him and I, before I even got there. I thought Vets would be taught how to handle large breed dogs under stress- not just Pomeranians and cats. Everyone in that office made me feel like garbage and not only stressed the dog out, but I left feeling like they suggested he would be better off put down because he's work. Also- he is a year and a half. A PUPPY. BOO, hard boo, worst. Just an awful place.

We just moved to Langley and needed a great vet who is good with anxious cats who are stressed easily. We took our big boy to see Dr. Ferguson. We handed him off to the staff and just expected a call when he was ready to go but we were so surprised to get texts from them with a picture of him eating his treats and comments about how he was doing and that he had a cute baby picture (they had requested his file from our last vet)! Such sweet and personal touches! Thank you for treating him (and me) so well and for your helpful advice. We have definitely found our new vet in our new city :)

I just moved to Langley 1 year ago. It was a challenge to find a good vet. I had to cancel a couple of appointment trying to decide which one to select. Thank god for choosing mountain view. I was very happy and content with the help and support with the vet and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable . Very grateful with the unexpected compassionate deduction taken from my total bill. It means a lot to me being a single mom. Not having a pet insurance can be expensive at times. I was looking forward to visiting this vet clinic since it’s so close to home and had good reviews. The person who answered the phone was very rude, said they wouldn’t help unless I brought the cats in, even though I wasn’t asking for them to write the prescription, only to fill it from another clinic. She said the medication is for dogs and not cats (not true and not given a chance to explain) and that they would not check for me if they had the medication on hand. I am not impressed at all with the way I was treated on the phone. If she had taken the time to be just a little polite and actually listen to me, I would have been happy to figure out the situation a bit better. I inherited these 2 cats from my recently deceased aunt and am trying to give them the best care, I didn’t appreciate feeling helpless and stupid.

Our large Shepherd cross is the definition of a nervous dog, and yet the caring staff and vets would spend time sitting on the floor, letting her get used to them. They brought out the best behavior I've seen and I couldn't be more impressed or grateful. Their fee structure is extremely reasonable, and they are very socially conscience and active in local animal charities. If you're looking for a vet office in the Lower Mainland please give them a visit.

WOW! These guys are great. We thought our last vet was really good but after several visits here with our elderly cat since we moved to Langley, we are thoroughly impressed with the entire team. Everyone is very caring, thoughtful, and cheerful. We had some medicine issues which this clinic helped give us some good insight to that the last place overlooked. No issues with getting appointments and so far have always been on time. I would definitely recommend. Best experience yet after dealing with several other clinics.

Shout out to the vets at Mountain View for being so kind and patient with a first time dog owner. They did a great job both times I brought my dog in, once for a wellness exam and another for her dental cleaning. The bill for dental cleaning was well under what we expected to pay. Also, shout out to Taylor the vet tech for being super kind, patient, enthusiastic, and caring to my little Onni. Taylor was awesome at going over everything with me, and answered all my questions with depth and thoroughness, with patience when I forgot my last question. They also took in a Spanish vaccine passport (Onni is a rescue from Mexico) and updated Onni's vaccination records in English for me. Also shout out to Luvena, the most fun and loving student asisstant at Mountain View!

I first heard of this place from one of the vet techs, Sydney, who spoke very highly of all the Veterinarians and owner of this clinic. I think that's a great sign right away. We had received a couple other vet opinions about our dog that we didn't feel addressed our concerns... we decided to check this place out. We brought our large German Shepherd and right away I felt great about the decision when we met Danielle, another Vet tech. She was so kind, knowledgable and empathetic. We got a plan of action and possible diagnosis from one of the vets, as well as management for our dog's pain. I was a bit confused about what the best next steps would be for our dog, and Dr. Ferguson took the time to call me and explain her thoughts and reasoning in a very clear and kind manner. I got the sense that everyone at this place is extremely passionate about animal care and educating owners, which means a lot to us. I feel much better having an honest and compassionate "team" to bring our pets to. I would highly recommend!

This Vet Hospital, staff and Dr. Yee are so caring and compassionate. They treated us and our dog who is 5 years with all best care and loving compassion. We are from Alberta and our little 5 lb. Toy poodle (a real treasure for us "Bella" is her name.) needed to have a cast off her left paw and it x rayed to see how her very tiny bones were healing. This clinic even requested the x rays from her vet in Alberta so they could compare the healing process. . She had broken her left paw and she had, had both a hard cast and then soft cast on for a total of 3 months. Dr. Yee even spoke to an Orthopedic Veterinarian who also reviewed the x rays for the purpose of a second opinion which we appreciated so much. We would highly recommend this clinic as we were 100 percent pleased and thanKful for this clinic.

Just wanted to give everyone a little info on Mountain view veterinary hospital. My brothers dog Merlin was taken there multiple times in the last month with ongoing health issues. The last time he was in, he was sent home vomiting and had diarrhea. The vet offered no explanation except it was probably due to his heart condition. My brother ended up taking him to a specialist vet who diagnosed him right away as having sepsis due to a mass in his stomach. Unfortunately by this time, Merlin had become so septic he could not be saved. An unfortunate and sad situation as you could imagine. My mother, who has been a client of Moutain view for years, called Mountain view to have a conversation with the vet to see what test ect were done on Merlin and how his condition was missed. Speaking with Dr. Ferguson, she told her that she wasn't trying to blame anyone but just wanted info on what was done and what was possibly missed. Dr. Ferguson told her that they didn't make any mistakes and that due to covid they are trying there best. She then went on to tell my mom that her and my brother were no longer clients at the vet. My mom, who was in tears at this point told her that she didn't not understand why she was being "fired" as a client, that she simply wanted a conversation regarding Merlin. I know a lot of people recommend Mountain view on this site, just thought people might like to be aware of how they could treat a long time client after the passing of a beloved part of the family. RIP Merlin ????

Absolutely love Dr Eagalle!! She has taken on my cat and dog as patients and from the get go her and the vet techs have been on the ball. They made sure my cat was healthy after he had surgery elsewhere and immediately diagnosed my dog's eye issues that most vets missed and his heart murmur. I definitely feel that my fur babies are well taken care of and I have a lot of confidence that my dog will be completely fine after his treatment. Thank you ladies so much, I'm so glad I switched vet clinics and now have amazing care that my furry babies need.
