I brought my 14 year old siamese cat as she was have eye and respitory issues. My cat was fortune enough to have a clean bill of health all her life so you can imagine going into the vet was hard. When I arrived it took over 20 mins fir the doctor to come in the room. By then my cat was super anoxious . Instead of telling me blood work would be the best route to go they said it's an option but it's expensive. So instead they started selling me a bunch if antibiotics and virus medications. My poor cat had a rough 2 weeks before I made the decision to put her down. I called and left a message to speak to the vet on Monday and they called back Thursday evening. No sense of urgency! Bottom line my cat was old and blood tests would have been ideal so I could then have that peace of mind to know whether my cat has a fighting chance. I spent over $350 and ended up putting my beloved cat down as Mama knows best and could not stand to see her suffer. I would never go to this place unless you like to spend your money with no dia gnosis. It's simply a money grabber with lazy over experienced vets that should be retired. They don't even proof read the file or history of the animal before a re check visit. How unprofessional. My baby is in cat heaven now. I will cherish all the good memories.

We have had pet rabbits for over 10 years and seen a few different vets. Dr. Prus has been kind and compassionate to both our rabbits. She has been gentle with them and I've never felt over-charged or over-prescribed. I get the feeling she really likes our rabbits, and they seem to really like her, too. Not every vet understands or cares about small animals, so I am grateful for this one.

Exceeds Expectations Dr. Prus shows a level of dedication, kindness, and compassion that I have never experienced in a vet and I know some pretty great ones. She is meticulous beyond compare. When my ferret, Grover, came down with a mystery illness he was in her hospital for a week. This amazing vet ended up taking him home with her since they were closed over the holiday weekend and after diagnosing him on her own time, opened her clinic on Canada Day to perform surgery thus saving his life. She is astounding and I am so grateful for her. If you are searching for a vet, look no further. This is the lady you want caring for your animals.

I live in Richmond and found this clinic while searching for a vet for my bearded dragon. I'm quite sceptical of vets but I left very happy. Dr. Sharon Prus tended to my bearded dragon and was very knowledgeable and I could tell she knew what she was doing. My bearded dragon is on a good road to recovery and it wasn't overpriced. I will definitely return

Dr. Piano and Bellinda saved my dog!!!! Recently, my dog had a tumor that was bigger than a golfball, on his throat, so it was hard for him to breathe from time to time. Because my dog is so old, and because he has a heart murmur, there was a huge risk that he wouldn't be able to make it out alive because of his heart condition. But we took that risk because he still has a lot of life in him and we want him to be living his best life. It was also because the tumor hadn't spread yet (AND IT WONT NOW!!!). So we went ahead with the surgery and prayed that he would make it back home to us. Needless to say, they heard our prayers and the surgery went well! We are so grateful to have them after all the years of being with the wrong vet (that's another story) and we're planning on staying with them I DEFINITELY recommend him and his assistant to anyone who has a pet because they seriously CARE about their pet clients. Normally, my dog HATES going to the vet (his old vet) but he seems to like this environment and the people more. And that says a lot about this place!!! Thank you so much Dr. Piano and Bellinda once again for saving my dog and taking good care of him whenever he needs it. It really means a lot!!!

Took my lovebird here and the first vet that looked at him didn't know much about birds. He'd pulled out all his rear feathers and opened a wound there as well. Got meds for the infection and went on our way...came back for a cone and met Dr. Prus for the first time. Exam lasted a few minutes and we were told he was looking better. Bird got worse..vet closed for the day and we went somewhere else. Turns out the lovebird was on deaths door and had liver problems. I walked into the new vet and they were in alarm just from the state of his feathers. Not once was it suggested to do blood tests at King George vet to make sure everything was okay. They only treated the external and didn't look any further. I would never take a bird there again.

Vet did a full check up. listened to the chest, weighed my pet and everything! Even though I came in with my rat with sprained paw. Rates are definitely one of the cheapest I've come across with small pets. Friendly reception and vets on staff.

I heard that this vet collab with SPCA so I gave it a try. Doctor. Piano is impressively professional, the incision of rabbit spay/neuter surgery is incredibly small, the smallest i have ever seen and my bunny recovered super fast&well. The price is also very reasonable. It takes me more than 80cad to take a cab to visit every time but no regrets! I just wish I knew this place earlier.

I've only been to this clinic once due to my usual vet being out of town but I was pleasantly surprised! They were able to get me in within the hour over something that we weren't really sure was serious or not. Dr. Sharon was beyond lovely, really knew her stuff and clearly cared about my ferrets well being. Sharon lit up when I pulled Elektra out of her cage, it was honestly really nice to see. My other boy is on a specific diet for some bladder stone issue, which they carry. Which was a nice surprise as that food is challenging to find, for a good price too! Overall, I would absolutely reccomend her if you're looking for a vet that caters to ferrets, though judging by the various photos everywhere, she's seen a plethora of animals. The front desk staff I dealt with was very helpful calming me down over the phone, and friendly in person. The place was clean with a good selection of food, not just for dogs and cats which is nice. The price is a little bit high but honestly pretty average when you're dealing with exotics.

Went here for the first time with my bird, was really impressed with the staff and the vet, herself. They have photos of treating monkeys, geese, swans, and as we entered, ferrets were leaving, there was a snake in the waiting room. Really neat to see the variety of animals they care for. Their prices were great. Another vet wanted to charge me $70 for an exam first in order to have my birds nails trimmed, and King George Vet didn't have any extra charges, just the $18 to trim. Also, the vet did not rush us, she took her time with our bird and petted him and talked with him after. If you do go, tell them Wings sent you!

I went to this vet to have one tooth filed down on my Dwarf Lionhead Bunny. I was charged $525 this was a huge overcharge!!! I asked for a box to take my bunny home, I was told ‘you didn’t bring him here in a box’. They managed to find find a box in the back. I know this was a total rip-off as I’ve had take my other bunny to the vet for teeth filing. I was charged $44.00!!!! Please go elsewhere, be very aware of the cost before going to this place!!! I was definitely at this veterinary office I will gladly post my credit card receipt showing the charges! The date was December 22, 2018. I clearly remember it was three days before Christmas! My bunny Benjamin went to this office, it was a total rip off!

I don’t recommend this place for anyone with a rabbit or any sort of small animal. Or anyone going during covid. I was extremely uncomfortable at this vet for many many reasons. I didn’t like that I had to hold my rabbit while he did an exam on my rabbit. Especially when I told him I don’t feel comfortable with it because my rabbit wiggles a lot and it’s hard for me to hold him. It’s also covid times, and it was very scary to be so close to someone like that. Most vet clinics around let you wait outside the room or outside the clinic in general. My rabbit wasn’t eating much, and I said I was giving him parsley and some leafy greens because that’s what he was willing to eat, but he stopped eating his pellets and hay. I told him it’s probably because it looked like he was having issues with his teeth and chewing. He said “you shouldn’t be giving him anything to eat except hay. Rabbits don’t eat leafy greens.” I’m sorry what? Since when are rabbits not allowed to have any leafy greens? It’s important that small animals have them for proper minerals and vitamins. I have told every vet I know about this, and they are shocked. He told me to stop feeding everything to him except hay. That is an INSANE idea to me and everyone around me, considering if rabbits don’t eat ANYTHING within 24 hours, they will die. My other regular vet told me on the phone to NOT do that, and just get him to eat what he can. Anyway, he took a quick look and told me he couldn’t really see inside his mouth, but his two back teeth were crooked and too long. If he couldn’t see in his mouth, I don’t know how he came up with that diagnostic? At the end I was given antibiotics, pain meds and critical care. One of the women from the front desk was very nice, the other not so much. I went home and With the antibiotics he started to eat normal things again. Later that week I took him to my regular vet. My regular vet told me that just one of his back teeth was a bit longer, so he filled it down for me. My rabbit is now back to normal. But my regular vet told me if I didn’t give my rabbit soft foods so he could at least eat, he would have died. The vet at king George told me he would have to have surgery. He did not need surgery. And he is completely back to his normal self and regular routine without the expensive surgery being done.

I've only been to this veterinary hospital on King George Blvd in Surrey once - yet I would highly highly recommend them !! Dr. Geronimo Piano cares so much about bunnies (and is very experienced with bunnies) that he volunteered this year at the VRRA festival and donated his time to give mini physical exams by donation. That is where I met him. My approx. 9 year old bunny (he is adopted so not sure of exact birth) has a splayed leg and I drove 1 hr. and 20 minutes to see Dr. Piano as he was able to fit myself within 24 hours than my regular vet office. Dr. Piano is very knowledgeable and recommended (based on exam) metacam for my fur baby. While my Zayo is still needing a solution to his splayed leg, Dr. Piano has other recommendations and explained why he recommend this. This veterinarian really cares about animals and took 10 minutes out of his busy day to answer a quick question / concern. Not all vets do this !! Thank you for your help. I will have to get Zayo's follow up closer to home (Vancouver) yet would definately recommend this vet for anyone who has a fur baby. Helen Vancouver, BC

Dr.Piano is incredible. I have struggled to find a knowledgeable, trust worthy and reasonable vet for my rabbit his entire life (11 years). Dr.Piano not only knows what he’s talking about, he also explains and shows you what is going on with your pet throughout the entire process. My rabbit, Beans, wasn’t eating or drinking anything and lost a lot of weight recently. Dr.Piano and his team worked together to help Beans undergo a major procedure on his teeth which required anesthetics. This is an extremely high risk procedure for a rabbit of his age but they took extra care to ensure his safety and the pricing was more than reasonable. I wish I had found him earlier - Dr.Piano and his team saved my boy!

I've been taking my pets here for years. The vets are very knowledgeable and experienced with all kinds of critters, and they've never tried to talk me into something that wasn't necessary. The staff are friendly and professional. I'm not sure what Angie Rosi is talking about. I've dealt with Shelley on several occasions and she's always been very friendly and definitely not a "nightmare" to deal with. Maybe she was having a bad day? Or maybe she was stressed about Covid 19? Or maybe the customer was the nightmare? Who knows. Please don't listen to bad online reviews from people who obviously enjoy posting bad reviews and don't give anyone the chance to defend themselves. FIVE STARS from this satisfied customer.

I took my cat here 6 years ago when two other vets couldnt give me a solid plan of treatment or reasoning for my cat's hepatic lipidosis. Dr. Prus was able to do a proper thorough assessment and save me hundred's of dollars on unnecessary diagnosis tests. She gave me a solid plan to follow and my cat made a great recovery. Unfortunately, this week I had to take my cat in again and eventually had to euthanize him due to his diagnosis of end stage kidney disease and his deteriorating condition. Dr. Olema was very kind during her exam of my poor sick cat and let me know what to expect while waiting for the tests to come back. Dr. Piano had to deliver the sad news that there was no chance of recovery and was very compassionate for my situation. The euthaniza was very peaceful and I greatly appreciate Dr. Piano and his staff for what they do. It cant be easy seeing pet owners in total heartbreak. I will continue to trust this hospital with the care of all my pets. Thank you all again.

My experience at this place was a nightmare! The worst veterinary experience I have ever had. Extremely expensive...total incompetence in the treatment of my dog...6 months of guess work..thousands of dollars spent... the only thing that my dog got from the treatment was diabetes and went stone blind...she has been robbed of the rest of her life as she knew it. I am crushed as to what has happened to my dog at the hands of that so called vet Dr. Piano. I regret the day I walked into this place! I would never recommend this place to anyone....

Took our hamster here one day when we noticed our hamster was rather lethargic and breathing slowly - long story short we were given medicine and paid a ton of money, including a large fee for less than 10 minutes of the doctor looking at our hamster which on top of the medicine price we were quite upset with but they didn't care. We paid, but unfortunately it was all for nothing because our hamster ended up dying the next day and we couldn't even give back the medicine we didn't use and get a refund.

It is DR. Piano who did the spay for our bunny, and we would like to say that he is a real expert on it. The bunny recovered very quickly from the surgery and the suggestions given by the doctor are truly helpful too. As well, the team at the clinic is all very hospitable and friendly.
