We had moved to Brantford, ON from Hamilton, ON, so we we’re seeking a good competent Veterinarian service in the area. Our neighbour had mentioned and recommended Windrush Veterinary Services. We booked our appointment well in advance, they were upfront with all the charges. They had sent us a detailed email, all itemized of services that are going to perform and charged beside the service. With an estimated total with tax and included to by email, the call or email you the day before your scheduled appointment. The day of service, our Pixie received a full examination, and required vaccinations. They handled all COVID-19 protocol, they come a pick up your pet at the car. After the service, the veterinarian came out and explained everything and asked if we had any questions. Everything was addressed, the veterinarian was very patient and caring and wasn’t rushed. Windrush even followed up the next few days and inquired on how our dog was, if it had any reactions to the vaccinations administered. In which our Pixie had minor vomiting and bit of nose swelling (but this was norm) and everything was back to normal within the next few days. Highly recommend veterinarian services!

The best vet around. Worth the drive from out of town. They have taken great care of my bunnies. When it was time for them to cross over the rainbow bridge, there were plenty of hugs and Kleenex. A few days later they sent a card of condolences signed by the staff. If my bunnies have had issues, they call me a few days later to follow up.

Caring and friendly here. They genuinely care about your pets. The place is clean and orderly. They also care for some pets that other vets won't see. We have a bunny, which is considered an exotic animal, I guess, and they have taken good care of her. I would def recommend.

I have been to and observed many vet offices over the decades and this is my favorite. The staff are knowledgeable and conscious of their patients and their owners. They provide services your pet NEEDS to be sure they stay healthy each year, and genuinely see to any problems that should arise with dignified professionalism (treatment plans that are first step affordable, noninvasive and not traumatizing). The staff are understanding and always follow up to make sure your pets are on track (I was reminded to stop my pets medication after two weeks, which I appreciated as I lost track of time.) These follow up messages demonstrate they care. Head to tail the best I have experienced.

From the first phone call I was reassured of the quality of care my cat would receive as they were very knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and have decent prices for their services. I researched other vets in the area and none compared to Windrush! As it was our first time d(the COVID-19 pandemic), I couldn't go in with my furbaby, but I felt confident in the staff's abilities and how they admired my kitten. Highly recommend!

The vet disclosed personal unfair and untrue judgements on us after 20 years of spending much money and trust there. The vet told a rescue place that I was unsuitable and didn't pay for care. She forgot to mention how we kept paying monthly for antibiotics and painkillers for him. She also never mentioned that he was not even my dog! Yet I did do all I could to care for him. She is nasty, arrogant, and I have easily and quickly found better care for our dropped off cat. He was suffering and could not go there for an extra week. With blood on his face from scratching, I took him elsewhere and his treatment was swift and now a few days later he is well, no thanks to windrush! I will say the receptionist are great and caring. The vet is a b....!

Amazing and caring people. This place has helped us with our pet for a long time and was very empathetic when we had to bring our pet for her final car ride. We received a condolence card which goes well beyond the regular service. These people actually care about you and your pet.

Windrush has been our vet for years, through multiple pets. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and always able to assist. The prices are comparable to other vets, but we have found recently that the wait times are longer and longer. Last time we waited an hour after our appointment time to get in. Our dogs get too anxious for that. Otherwise, a great vet.

The best vet hands down. Initially I went to them because they offered a decent price in the spaying of my rabbit--almost half the price of everyone else's including meds, surgery, care, etc. I was told there would be a vet tech with her at all times during the surgery, who would have no other charges than her. They called me afterwards to let me know she was recovering well, and even picked a few meadow flowers for her to eat to help gain her appetite back. They told me I was free to help myself to any flowers in the meadow beside the building as well. That was five years ago, and I still go and will only go to this vet clinic. Everyone who works here is not only knowledgeable and professional, but they have your animal's best interest in mind. I recently had to put down my rabbit of 10 years, and they were beyond understanding, helpful and empathetic. They allowed me the time I needed to recover, and were so gentle and loving to him. They allowed me to correspond by email and answer any questions and concerns I have. I also take my dog to them and they treat her so well. They understand she's nervous, and allow me to help where I can. They're beyond respectful of pets and it's heartwarming to see. If you are looking for a vet for any of your pets, please consider Windrush because you will not find veterinary professionals with this level of care and compassion any where else.

We found Dr. Sarah Murdoch to be rude. I tried to exolain what was wrong and she told us that I was telling her how to do her job, and that she rather refer us to someone else. I was calm, direct of course, but not rude. This isn't what we asked for I'm just trying to explain myself. Theyre contradicting themselves and denying things done in past services. Whilst saying this, she immediately got her back up, and talked down to us. We got off on a bad foot instantly, where's your bedside manners? Why aren't you listening to the people who live with the pet, and know it best? All the vet techs and the receptionist were lovely.

Wonderful clinic! All the staff members are friendly and so personable. I really love that they know me and my pet as soon as we walk through the door - I'm not just 1 of 100 clients they're seeing as an assembly line every day. You can truly feel the difference in quality of care here vs. other clinics I've been to. Dr. Sarah is great with our dog. She takes the time to examine him completely, explain everything to us and of course reward him with yummy treats. She worked with us on creating a vaccination schedule that is tailored to our dog's lifestyle - and not just giving him things he doesn't necessarily need. Windrush also has these awesome "wellness plans" that made it more cost effective for us during our vaccination/heartworm visit. I have never been to such a caring place - it's definitely worth the drive to Burford!

I've been taking my dog here since I moved to the area a couple of years ago. My dog is special needs, a senior and is a handful. They've been nothing but wonderful to my dog. My dog has gone thru routine visits, dental work and surgeries with them and I've found their care, knowledge and help amazing. Their health and wellness plans are a great idea and so helpful especially when I have extra blood tests needed for my fur baby.

We said No. they replied: “then we don’t have anything available for a week”. And suggest not leaving it that long. We Called Scott’s Veteran and had an appointment on the fallowing day
