A bit expensive, but worth the money for the attentive care. My family has brought our cats here for 15 years and have not had a single complaint. I've been offered different treatment options for different budgets, complementary claw trims, and follow up appointments for no additional cost. The two vets I've seen are always gentle with my cats and listen to all my concerns and address them adequately.

Really disappointed with the experience after being recommended to come here with my 8 week old goldendoodle. Overall service and pricing were fine but I came away feeling frustrated with the experience. Vet tech was not personable at all and made some rude comments including that they love seeing doodles because they know will be visiting the vet lots (suggesting they make lots of money out of doodle owners) and that the man that created the doodle regrets it because he said he created a monster. Really not appreciated when I'm just bringing my new puppy in for an initial health check, keep your inappropriate comments to yourself. These vets are not open to conversations around raw feeding and the vet tech/vet contradicted themselves on his current kibble (vet tech said change the food because grain free is bad, the vet came out and said he's on a great food keep him on it). I don't feel like I got any useful information, they just sent us away with a bag of pamphlets of things to spend money on. Won't be spending any more money here.

Always a pleasure going there. My 10 month of dane loves going. They are always helpful with the millions of questions I ask and it’s so easy to make an appointment either over the phone, by email or even the new app. I’ve only ever had one issue which it could have been a busy day which I understand it just seemed like dr babcock was rushing the information to us. I had to get clarification from the girl bringing me out my receipt. Other than that time he has always been amazing. I’m so happy we found this place!

Lynden Animal Clinic is the best clinic for your small dog needs. We have a teacup Chihuahua and the doctors knew the best medicine to help our pup. We took Paco to a different vet more local to us who ended up seriously harming our poor baby. Thankfully, the people at Lynden are experienced with little Chihuahuas and were able to give him the care needed

This is a FANTASTIC vet. Not just "pretty good". They care about you as a customer and everyone in a genuine animal (not money) lover. They don't upsell you on expensive stuff your pet doesn't need. They suggest helpful courses of action and have legitimate compassion for whatever the situation your animal buddy might itself in. I'd highly recommend them to anyone that can make it there . I feel like walking up to Dr. B every time I see him and shake his hand because of how thorough, professional, and thoughtful he is.

I am not one to write poor reviews... my thought is anyone can put garbage on the internet that is hurtful; however my recent experience at Lynden Animal Clinic was concerning and disappointing. I have taken my rabbit and dog to the clinic for years... my 10 year old rabbit broke his leg in October and Lynden Animal Clinic told me my only option was too put him down; there was a lack of bedside manor for my feelings around this and no discussion around any other options- I took my rabbit home and drove to Guelph to have a second opinion- my rabbit is still alive, happy and healthy- his leg is in the wrong place- but he is great- I decided I would continue to take my dog there- thought one blip wasn't a reason to get my nose out of joint- YESTERDAY I took my dog for her flee and tick- I booked the visit for "flee, tick and heart worm"- during the visit the vet who was ACTUALLY LOVELY- great with me and my dog- spoke to me about rabies vaccine- and said we didn't need this year- she left the room and came back with a vial- I assumed (BAD CHOICE) that it had something to do with my requested appointment (flee tick heart worm) and shot it up her nose- this has never happened before- it was odd to me- but I trusted it was something part of the routine- at the end of my appointment I thought my bill was higher then I remember- but paid thought nothing of it and left- My puppy goes to daycare 4 days a week- I work 12-15 hour days and I RELY on daycare to keep her happy and active while I work (I didn't work that many hours when I got her- but life changes- we adapted and found her a great alternative)- I RELY ON DAYCARE- my daycare has a FIRM no KENNEL COUGH VACCINE rule- this is because it is a live virus and can spread to the other dogs- if you choose to get it you are out for 10 days)- today at drop off my provider said Callie (my puppy) was coughing and asked me if anything was different- or if she had been around other dogs- she has not- those questions got my wheels turning-all the differences at the vet started to stand out- I looked at my vet bill to find she was administered KENNEL COUGH VACCINE through the NOSE- I am SUPER disappointed- I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS- I WAS NOT ASKED IF THIS WAS OK- I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS PRIOR TO ADMINISTRATION- NO DISCUSSION OF THE RISKS TO MY DOG- I should have the right to SAY NO- if it was offered I would not have agreed due to my daycare rules- I am not in agreement with this practice and I will not return- like I said the vet was a lovely lady- super lovely- but I am now in a situation where my dog is sick- and I cannot send to daycare- not only did I pay for something I did not ask for I may have to take time off work which costs more.... to top it off I am not in agreement with many vaccines and only do BARE minimum so I am super upset this is in her body.... when I called to share they said "we will make a note on her file sorry"- I get mistakes happen but consent should always be given....

The best vet I've been to so far! Wonderfully friendly staff, everyone has a great smile on their face and you can tell they loved to be working there. They are very knowledgeable of small dog breeds and would recommend bringing any dog from 1-10lbs there. Dr. Babcock treated my 13 week old chihuahua puppy so kindly and knew what would and wouldn't hurt him and his tiny little body. I drive almost half an hour to go to this vet and it is worth it 100% HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VET FOR SMALL DOGS!!!

This vet clinic is wonderful! They are affiliated with Moringa's Mission Animal Rescue. Dr Babcock and his wife both volunteer their time and skill to help those poor dogs in the Dominican and, as an adoptive mama of two Moringa's dogs, I'm very grateful for them! I live in the east end of Hamilton, so this clinic is a HIKE for me, but it's worth it! When I adopted my dogs I had planned to take them to a clinic just down the street, but I always go back to LAC because I know they truly care about my dogs as much as I do. Very reasonable cost, especially compared to city rates, and they go above and beyond. I always get in right away, the front end staff are very caring and professional. Both my girls went in for spays here and I received a phone call post-op to let me know how they made it through as well as another phone call a week or so afterward to check in on how they were feeling. Can't say enough great things. Amazing people, amazing clinic. I'll never go anywhere else.

Support staff are friendly and helpful, and seem to give the animals a lot of love and care. Veterinarians seem to truly love the animals but are also pragmatic about the limits of care. Never felt like I was pushed into anything, and decisions have always been made in a way that is respectful of my limitations around risk and cost. The team took remarkable care of one of my beloved cats when he became ill and were lovely and supportive when he unfortunately died shortly thereafter. Could not have asked for a more compassionate group of people to care for him.

My little Truff had to have some teeth extracted last week, prior to booking I took him in for a full examination and an injectable antibiotic..Dr Babcock and his team were so thorough and explained everything.. he also upon examination gave me a low-end of Bill and a high-end of bill and was very honest about what needed to be done.Truff was treated excellent and the procedure went very well. I even got a call Post surgery to see how he was doing. I have lived in Lynden my entire life.We have always used Lynden Animal Clinic for all our pets.Staff are fantastic and will work with any types of animals including large snakes....Brent was the only one yrs back that would see my large snakes...no problem.Brent Babcock is very aware of peoples finances.I think this clinic had a bad rap for a while.People were saying that they were very expensive and did unnessesary tests etc to boost up bills.If you want to see a clinic that does unnessesary tests go to Copetown.My god...you'll have a $1000 bill in the first 5 mins.I have never found that to be the case with Lynden and have been here 45 yrs.Actually the complete opposite.I always request Brent Babcock and he always makes time when needed.I would absolutely recommend this clinic.

The staff at Lynden Animal Clinic continues to show time after time how much they care for pets and for their owners. The care provided is exceptional and I would not trust any other pet clinic with my animals. They do everything they can to get you an appointment quickly. There was a time on a Saturday morning where we had an emergency with our cat and the staff just told us to bring her up to the clinic right away and they will make room to see her. You don’t get that type of care and compassion at other clinics. Thank you Lynden Animal Clinic staff for everything you do!!

My family and myself have been taking our animals here for many years, and the service has only become worse as Dr. Babcock has aged. Most recent bad experience with them - this year i didn't even receive a courtesy phone call about my pets vaccination - and staff confirmed they didn't call me - upon realizing this mix up i pro actively order the required revolution dosage for my dogs - only to have the clinic call me the SAME DAY and tell me that my dogs are over due for their vaccines and need to be evaluated in order for them to process the revolution prescription 1800 PET MEDS sent them. Didn't even receive an apology about the mix up - i know you don't need the me as a customer but acknowledging the mix up is all i ask. Horrible customer service, has turned into a money grab not the country family vet they used to be.

Highly recommend. We’ve been through a few vets over the years for different reasons. Bad customer service, garbage attitudes, complete incompetence etc. Now our dog is older and he had a very unlucky 2020 with lots of issues and injuries but we’ve been very happy and feel lucky with the staff at Lynden. Extremely helpful, even over the phone (many vets won’t give you the time of day unless they are charging you) and we also get a more genuine feeling that they care. Money isn’t super important when it comes to my dogs health but I’m actually always relieved when seeing my bill after my visit. Thanks to everyone there. From me and Kona.

We brought in a sick cat. Dr Babcock was caring and listened, as always, but was rushed because of the remote service. I am sure he is rushed off his feet! My only complaint was having to wait not only to get our cat seen (a half hour delay), but also the delay in waiting to pay for the appointment. We would have happily phoned in our payment instead of waiting a half hour to get it processed. I wish they could have told us through the app that we were going to be delayed. The clinic offers exceptional care!

He is our family vet for our new puppy, and was also our family vet for our other family dog for 18 years until the very end. Regarding our oldest dog he was always so supportive and kind, staying after hours when we had to say goodbye to our dog. When it came to choosing the vet for our new puppy, it was clear that the only choice was Dr. Babcock. The team is always prompt, kind and efficient always able to accommodate when we have questions or concerns about our puppy. If I could give 10/10 stars I definitely would.

I'm new to the area and literally stumbled across this veterinary clinic because most vets were not seeing new cases. I was very scared seeing a new vet because of this covid thing plus my cat is 19 years old and want her as comfortable as possible. This veterinary clinc was truly amazing and the doctor was so empathetic and understanding she went over and beyond to care for my cat. I have been there twice now and both experiences have just been outstanding. I've been a pet owner my entire life and I can honestly say this clinic is by far the best I've seen. Amazing place to go, always feel safe bringing my pets and I will explain the ladies bill for all who don’t understand it I’ve been going to Babcock for years and yes sometimes it will not make sense or you think it should be a certain amount, it sucks sometimes, but the bill the lady is mentioning, she is 100% wrong and she should not have exaggerated or lied about it ! It’s exactly right, it’s the way it goes, you gotta come in twice as it’s a dog that has never had vaccinations, Means the dog cannot get all the shots at once it’s too much for the dog, so if another vet told you this, they are not practicing good vet services, I would never allow my dog who has never had a vaccination get everyone she has ever needed all at once it’s not good for the animals so Babcock was totally correct saying you need to come back for the second half, that’s the proper way to do it, also when she mentioned that the bills were too much, and she said she called around and to bring your dog in with never been vaccinated, I personally called ten from London to Toronto and not to my surprise all said you cannot do all the shots at once you need to come in twice so she lied again, and I asked how much lol get ready for this, just the shots alone are over 300 rabies and the other ones are over 200 and I asked for a total it was over 600 at any vet for any dog who is 5 years old never been vaccinated so She lied again about vaccinations being 20 bucks, I’ve been going to Babcock for years and there is always a suggestion to spay your dog, you don’t need to do it just say no I don’t want to it’s your dog so that’s another lie she told, and for Babcock to say go to beatie lol obviously she mentioned that place to him and he most likely said well go there then, this lady is so full of lies, just wish there was a way to take down her lies because what she got for a hundred and something bucks and then she had to pay at another hundred and something is nothing for a dogs who needs every single vaccination and rabbies you will not get for 20 bucks at any vet in this world so that’s a lie ! I just love this vet he a great honest man, and her review goes against all principals that he and this place stands for, so to all who think that person with her bills she doesn’t want to pay, it’s the cheapest from London to Toronto like I mean 50-60% off the price others want so let her go to beatie and hope she pays double on every visit and they even know who you are I had to go to an emergency vet and beatie was the closest vet we went in, the dog was in need of antibiotics and that’s it, well that’s all they gave the dog In the end my bill was $657.89 for a check up and antibiotics and when I called for my check up two days later no clue who I was and said that I would need to pay the exam fee again since she would be getting, Checked over again which was told it was just a check up, so this lady has lied multiple times and I I hope all see it and know this place is the best In the world !!!!!!!!!!

Curbside right now and great getting dog inside with thier own leash. Very loving lady Doctor came out after examination told us the problem. Give medication and explained how to use it. Actually calling in a week to see how situation is. Also let me know she was due for a shot and asked if could give it to her. Pricing amazing. Thought I'd be dishing out alot of money. Not at all. Great and loving doctor and staff. Make sure dog felt comfortable leaving me. Only vet I would recommend. Thank u

Wonderful vet! They are amazing they call a few days after appt to check up on the animal...the vets take the time to explain everything you dont feel rushed...they actually care and they are not all about the mighty dollar there its refreshing Our one boxer has a practical torn ACL and instead of the vet seeing dollar signs he said let's wait it out see how well she can repair it herself with rest and pain meds and after months of rest and being so careful shes doing amazing she didnt have to have surgery. Best vet clinic for small animals (I have rabbits) that I have found anywhere near Brantford. The staff are absolutely amazing, very knowledgable and the prices are very reasonable. If you have a small animal and need a vet who knows them well and is very experienced with their spay/neuters etc, this is the place. It is an absolute joy to bring my rabbits here, I can't say enough positive things.

Dr. Babcock and his staff are wonderful! My 11 year old lab had bruised his ear resulting in an aural hematoma. Instead of an extremely expensive surgery other vets I spoke on the phone with were suggesting Dr Babcock drained his ear and prescribed prednisone and antibiotics. Finnigan's ear is almost back to normal. I am on a disability pension and am so grateful for the treatment plan chosen. Thank you Dr. Babcock If I could give you a 10 star review here I would!
