Despite how busy they are, they were able to fit my cat in for a quick surgery. Dr. Hofer is wonderful. She was very thorough when it came to the procedure and explained everything in detail to make sure I understood the recovery process. Earlier this year, I posted a negative review about Brandon Hills Vet Clinic because the service my husband and I received was unsatisfactory. The people we dealt with were uninformative and charged us for redundant tests when our dog was showing vague signs of poor health. Since posting that review we've been dealing with Dr. Fischer and our experiences have been much better! She identified the problem with our dog and has been very forthcoming with information throughout the process of our pooch's treatment. She has great "bed-side manners" and we really appreciate how she explains things to us. We would recommend her to anyone moving to Brandon who is looking for a vet!

We have been customers of Brandon Hills Vet Clinic since 1995. In total 7 cats and 2 dogs and thousands of dollars spent at this clinic. In the end they FAILED to provide end of life care to the pets we had been led to believe they cared about all these years. No emergency care on the weekends, please call Winnipeg is the message at the business, 2 hours away from Brandon! How absurd and disgusting is this? Our beautiful 13.5 year old Jake needed immediate care and there was no one to help. So unbelievably disgusted with the Doctors and the business.

I first went to Brandon Hills Vet because my dog was showing some sick symptoms and when we called our regular vet, they could see her until the week after. I didn't want to wait that long, so I called BHV and they booked us in the same day. A few months after my dog got really sick. I called them and even though they were closed for the day I received a call from the vet that I could bring her in. My dog ended up staying three nights at the hospital and they did the best they could to bring my dog back to as normal as possible. She did show compassion and care. She will call giving me updates three times per day and very informative. I reccommend them 100%

Our Izzy came down with an ear infection over Christmas. Brandon Hills left an outgoing voicemail that they didn't have an emergency vet over the holiday, but left a Winnipeg number to call. I was reassured that she wasn't in any danger to leave it for another day. When I called Brandon Hills the following day, I was able to get her in that very afternoon. She received excellent care and they were able to work in her annual shots, saving us time and hassle.

I had been going to this vet for quite some time and was happy with the service. unfortunately my dog was having some food allergies and had reoccurring ear infections. The vets basically said I have to purchase the most expensive food they carry and nothing else would work. I found the exact same type of food at another vet clinic in Brandon for a larger size and more reasonable price. The other day I went in to purchase wet food at Brandon Hills; of the diet my dog was on and was ignored at the front and not given an answer when I asked pricing. She gave me 3 cans in a bag and then told me the total. She didn't make any attempt at giving me any sort of customer services considering the amount of money that I spent at the vet in the past few days. I called Grand Valley and was not only treated appropriately but was explained things and not talked down to because I couldn't afford their most expensive food. We all love our pets and want to do whats best for them and sometimes its not in the budget. It seemed more like a product pitch than anyone who was trying to see where I was coming from at Brandon Hills. When I called to transfer my animals files the girl seemed very un-genuine in apologizing for the mistakes and did not try to make the situation right. Unfortunately I am disappointed but I am very happy to start my services at Grand Valley Animal Clinic. UPDATE: When I called and asked for files to be transferred I was told they were and all other apps were cancelled. Received a call today and only 2/3 pets were transferred and the appointments still in their systems. I found this out after waiting on hold with them for my entire coffee break. Such a disappointment and no means to apologize AGAIN for the terrible customer service. I am beyond upset with this place.
