My uncle brought our gsd & Alaskan malamute here before they had passed & continues to bring his dogs here so when I had a bad experience with a previous vet with my dog, he told me to bring Odie here. The vet techs have been amazing, they’re always very friendly & patient with Odie as he has separation anxiety & doesn’t do well when he is taken away from me. With covid it has been an issue for him but last time we came one of the techs sat with him to help calm him down which meant the world to me & I know he greatly appreciated it as well. Before coming here, Odie would get ear infections & was never given a reason why. Just “here take this”, charged me an insane amount & sent me on my way. The vet here took the time to explain to me why he was getting the ear infections so I knew what was happening with my fur baby. They are very informative when I call with any questions or concerns & even check in with his weight loss plan as he has put on a few pounds during Covid himself. The staff at this clinic are all wonderful & so sweet, I could not be happier. It takes a lot for me to trust people with Odie, he’s my fur child but nothing makes me doubt that I can trust this team of people that put animal’s well being first! I know covid has been hard on everyone but they are definitely not letting it effect their quality of service whatsoever. Thank you.

I got a puppy during quarantine, when lots of places were closed and face to face contact wasn't really possible. I had to choose a vet based on first impressions and some google reviews, which made me nervous because i wouldnt get a chance to properly meet the staff. However, when I picked up my puppy Kobe and I called McQueen Animal hospital regarding check ups, it was so nice to hear from the vet, Dr. Babbar, himself! With the COVID-19 restrictions in place he talked me through the entire process and made me feel at ease with the fact that I wouldn't personally be in the room when my puppy, Kobe, is being examined. When it came to the day of the assessment, Dr. Babbar and his amazing team made me feel so at ease with leaving my dog in their hands, I felt welcomed and felt aware of all the things that were being done to my dog. They were able to answer all my questions and never once made me feel like I was asking anything silly (especially being a first time puppy owner in the midst of a pandemic). Another thing I really appreciate is, when getting Kobe vaccinated Dr. Babbar's team had began speaking to me about having my puppy neutered. They even went to great lengths of printing out pricing information of the neutering, which I appreciated so I knew exactly what I was paying for, and had a rough estimation of what the procedure could cost months before I can schedule his neutering. Lastly, my puppy recently got himself in a situation with a field mouse, I began being worried when my puppy started throwing up and called the vet right away. the team at McQueen Animal Hospital reassured me and were able to get me an appointment within the hour to have him checked. They really made me and Kobe feel like a priority at this time. Dr. Babbar quickly called me after assessing Kobe with what he thought could be the cause of him throwing up and continued to give me education of things to watch out for, things to alert him or go to an emergency vet (with the next day being a holiday their office would have been closed). I really appreciated all the team did for me that day, they even called a few days later to check on Kobe and make sure he was okay. Overall, I'm really glad I found this vet and trust my puppy with their whole team! I never feel like I am being scammed of my money and I never feel that I am paying too much for any services. I truly feel that my puppy is being well taken care of here at McQueen Animal Hospital and recommend this clinic to all my friends and their furbabies!

Fantastic reception and vet assistant staff, some of the kindest I’ve ever met. I had been a client a few years ago where they had provided amazing care for my senior dog until the end of his life. They had always been caring and supportive through tough times. Naturally, I decided to bring my new puppy back for care as well. However, not sure if it’s the COVID-19 restrictions that make communication especially tough (for both parties), but I was left confused, frustrated and taken advantage of when I brought my puppy in when she came down with worms. She wasn’t getting the treatment she needed in a fair way (it was frustrating and not accommodating). The vet acted as if they did not believe me (asking me to pay for another test) when I had seen white segments in her stool for multiple days. This unfortunately prompted me to change vet clinics, where they treated her for tapeworms and prescribed the medication that immediately got rid of it.

I absolutely LOVE this clinic! I am a first time dog mom and paranoid about everything regarding my dog's health and well being. All the staff at this clinic are wonderful, friendly and most of all kind and compassionate they NEVER make me feel bad about my silly questions and always explain everything in detail. I've had to go once for an emergency and the reassured me and helped me to feel calm and comfortable through the entire event. I would recommend this clinic to everyone!

What a wonderful experience. First of all now I know why this clinic and Dr. Babbar got such great reviews. He is such a kind gentleman. Really nice guy and attentive to your pet. He really does care and so does his staff. And he will even recommend some great Indian restaurants in the area too :) Prices are good. Location was perfect for me and the establishment is very good quality. I'm happy to have found a great vet for my cat.

Dr. Babbar and his team are very kind, professional, and committed to providing the best care. They attended to my 9 year old Chihuahua, Yoda, with excellent service. Yoda underwent extensive dental surgery and Dr. B was able to help him at a remarkably reasonable cost (compared to other animal hospitals who quoted us). Yoda is now fully recovered and happier than ever. With that said, I would definitely recommended this animal hospital to anyone in Brampton!

I will never take my dog anywhere else other than McQueens. After North Town Veterinarian Hospital said my dog had kidney failure and was going to die because we could not afford over $8000 to cure him we were desperate to find someone who could give us a second opinion before we put him down. We came to McQueens with not much hope. They did a full examination of my dog checking his vitals (which the other veterinarian hospital did not do), and even doing acupuncture because North Town sedated him so much he could walk for over a week and half when they said he'd be fine 4-6 hours later. The veterinarian who came in was so kind, you could really tell he has a passion for curing animals. All he said was my dog had inflamed intestines, no kidney failure, nothing. He gave us my dogs prescription and we walked out paying only $120... It's been 6 months and my dog is still better than ever. Thank you McQueen for caring for my animal as if he were your own. You guys deserve so much more credit for your work, thank you again.

I want to preface this by saying that the vet techs and reception staff are amazing. We adored them and this review is about the Vet himself, not the rest of his staff. In the beginning, we were really happy here. Unfortunately, that all changed when Dr. Babbar started refusing to even touch our dog and rushed appointments with her. It started when he shoved a recal thermometer up her backside without being even remotely gentle, causing her to turn around and snap at him. Our dog is a golden retriever. She's normally extremely docile but is also a nervous girl. She was highly stressed and him being rough with her caused her to react in an unusual manner. Keep in mind that he was already aware that she is a nervous dog. From that point on, he would refuse to touch her at all, rushed our appointments and demanded that we muzzle her whenever we came in. That one time she snapped was the only time in her life that she's ever snapped at anyone. Since then, we have switched vets and she is thriving beautifully again. Our current vet is absolutely brilliant with her and I have zero regret about switching. Edit to respond to the clinic's response. I understand that you can't seem to find any record, although I highly doubt that what happened would have been recorded anyway. The reason is most likely because I am not using my full name on my google account. However, that does not mean that the events I described did not happen. As previously stated, our dog Jessie was a docile dog and thankfully still is. She was only ever stressed/snappy when she came to your clinic after the above events. I'm sure you have a lot of happy clients, and we were among them up until that last apointment. I would have expected at the very least, an apology. Since even that was not offered, we had no choice but to leave.

We have been so grateful to Dr. Babbar and the team at McQueen Animal Hospital for their care with our 3 dogs and 1 cat these past few years. Wonderful, clean and very hygienic clinic. Doctor Babber is well conversant professionally. I have regular physicals for my pair of dogs, poms male and female. I had the oral prophylaxis done for one of my dogs under GA.some loose teeth were pulled out. As a dentist and having medical back ground, I watched him do the stuff. He has the required modern monitoring system, digital x rays etc. He is very organised and meticulous along with his very competent staff. I already referred my relations and friends to him. Good Job, Dr Babber. Keep it going !

Let me start by saying previous interactions were amazing, a little pricey but pretty good. This time around, I dropped $500 to have my cat diagnosed with a kidney issue, this didn't bother me, what happened next did. 3 days later I took my cat in for euthanasia. I got rinsed hard, in excess of $500 to put him down and communal cremation. I called back a couple of days later expressing my displeasure, I got "sorry that is the price". I have checked with multiple people and vets, everyone saying I got stung, I wont be back nor will I retract this. I'm John Marskell Former client

We've had all four family pets (2 cats; 2 dogs) treated by Dr. B and every experience has been wonderful - our dogs are extremely comfortable with him and the environment. It's obvious he has a passion for animals, and his advice and diagnosis' have always had their best interests in mind. We are so blessed and lucky to have this clinic a mere 5 minutes away. We recently had to put one of our dogs down, and the entire clinic displayed a tremendous amount of caring and compassion through this difficult time. The doctors and staff at McQueen Animal Hospital have been amazing with our sweet Eliya! As sweet as she is, she can be very difficult at times! I was so relieved to see the care she received as the staff always do an amazing job at keeping her cool, calm and collected during our visits. We recommend McQueen Animal Hospital to all pet owners and Melanie, one of the technicians there was very knowledgeable when we shared certain concerns with her. Our BMD is registered with them. Have been going there since we got him as a 8week old puppy. They followed all regulations during extreme covid situation. The pet is well taken care and the staffs are very courteous to us and the pet. Reminders, treatment, vaccination and follow up were all done in right manner. I WISH I COULD GIVE 6 STARS!!! I've lived in Brampton my whole life but moved to Toronto a few years ago. I've always struggled to find a reliable AND affordable Veterinarian no matter where I go. I have committed to the idea that reliability and affordability cannot coexist when considering Vets. I have bounced all over the city, taking my dogs to a number of Vets and then remained at the Vet at Queen and Chinguacousy for many many years until a few years ago. A family member had referred me to McQueen Animal Hospital and I have to say that I am constantly blown away at the amount of care, attention and compassion I get, from the moment I enter the clinic, visit with the Vet and then pay and leave. I would have easily paid for the same services at McQueen Animal Hospital as all of the expensive Vets in the city because of the special care my pets get at McQueen; however I am floored at how much more affordable they are over ALL other Vet clinics that I’ve taken my dogs to over the past 30 years. They have been extremely accommodating and the staff and Vets are all genuinely interested in seeing the best health and quality of life for my pets. They treat both my pet and I with the utmost respect and priority and once I’m done and have to pay the Vet bill, I don’t feel like I’ve broken the bank. If you want top quality service, with an extremely friendly and caring staff and pet bills that don’t put you in the poor house, then you need to check them out. I was convinced after my first visit but ever visit since then, I’ve been floored at how they can still continue to outdo themselves (hence my reason to share my experience with the masses!) I will NEVER go anywhere else now and despite moving to downtown Toronto, I will still make the trek back to Brampton so my fur baby can see the best of the best!!!

MAY 2018 - I just wanted to thank Dr. Babbar for helping us in an emergency situation. The office was technically closed and the Doctor called us right back even though he couldn't see King. He gave us medication after explaining what was wrong. It was a common bowel issue among puppies so he knew exactly what was wrong and how to treat it. King recovered in no time! I can't thank Dr. Babbar enough. 5 stars for the amazing service :)

Really nice people, way better than the vet off of voden. Prices are decent I paid like 500 for blood test medications anesthesia and surgery. They explained everything to me really well and even called me after to follow up to see how my dog was which was very nice. I did not get the same treatment from voden the main vet talked very condescendingly and had this smirk on his face I once asked about this growth in my dogs mouth and he smiled and said no problem that's easy and will be cheap and when I asked how much it would be it came up to 1900 they add on extra stuff and over charge you. McQueen is way better and I have suggested other friends of mine to bring their pets here as they have also had the same problem with the vet off of voden

Dr. Raabia is the best family doctor I have had. The wait time at Mcqueen clinic is very reasonable. The front staff are very nice. The doctor takes her time and does not hurry you. Our Great Dane went through a neutering surgery at this facility about a month ago. Our boy is anxious of vet visits. The staff at McQueen Animal Hospital are very friendly. The entire staff were very kind and friendly to my pup as he is so unsure of everyone during this time of quarantine and not being able to be so social as yet. I wish I had found Dr. Babbar a year ago when he started his clinic, he would have saved me a lot of grief, but more importantly, he would have preserved the health of my dog. Unfortunately I took my dog north of Brampton, where she was not diagnosed correctly, and was also given short, ineffective doses of antibiotics which only increased her resistance to the bacteria which causes uti's. She was also prescribed metacam long term and now has kidney disease. Dr. Babbar is doing the best he can for my dog; he is highly competent and treats me like an equal. He does not talk down to me or rush me along, or persuade me to take his recommendations as final say. In fact I was surprised how respectful he is, and how easy he is to talk to. He encourages me to understand his findings and work on a solution that I am comfortable with, with zero pressure to proceed with drugs or clinical procedures. He takes the position of presenting his findings and gives me multiple options, and I can follow his line of thinking in each one. I think I have spent more time in conversation with him about my dog over several calls than my other vet, or any vet has given me in a year! He also has an excellent, modern, highly-equipped clinic with genuinely kind staff to help him. It is great to know you can get urine and blood results in the same day. The clinic also has a great location, with coffee shops, fish&chips, groceries, gas in the same block. There is parking right outside the front doors, which is important to me, as well as a treed area to give your dog a bio-break. I have full faith in Dr. Babbar that he cares about his patients and strives to provide them the best treatment he can. I will be taking my other two dogs there and recommending him to everyone I can as he is exactly the type of vet that people wish for. PS his rates are very affordable, and I never feel like I have overpaid for skimpy service. I wish Dr. Babbar the best in the future to come.

They recognized her allergies, that she was chewing her paws off ☹ poor thing, prescribed some medicine and skin sensitive dog food and she is doing great. Our furkid, Olive, went down with liver failure back in March 2017 which was misdiagnosed at the first three vets we went to. She was hospitalized there for about 2 weeks, but her condition deteriorated to a level where she went severely critical. After a lot of research and deliberation, we decided to take her in the worst of her condition to Dr Babbars Clinic. From a 5% chance of survival on that day to getting two blood transfusions within a month's time and finally getting the right diagnosis and medication, its been a long (almost 4 months now), exhausting but a fruitful journey with Olive back on track to being a happy n healthy furry. Olive is still recovering and we look forward to her complete recovery soon. Its difficult to describe in words how thankful we are to Dr Babbar and his team for all their support in every which way. Its important to mention that we stay in North York, and though its about an hours travel to Dr Babbars, its most definitely worth it!! Olive has most certainly found her doctor for life, and with her, we have found a friend for life!

At Mc Queen Animal Hospital the staff had managed my new puppy medical concerns with such care. At this particular hospital they have the state of the art medical equipment where they could diagnose the problem and have answers instantly. Here you don't need to wait for your results or send out tests to the lab. (keeps cost down) The staff are very caring, knowledgable and all around nice people. The doctor I am most impressed with, because he explained in my language what the matter was with my new puppy. Lastly I want to mention how affordable they are. I find vets in Brampton can be very expensive, but Dr. Babbar makes things managable for you. I now bring my 1 year cat, 1 year old puppy and 5 year old dog to the practice. Highly Recommended!!!

Highly Recommend! After having a bad experience at another vet in Brampton, I was hesitant to bring my dog in to any vet for an elective teeth cleaning under anaesthesia. The staff were super friendly, and called me as soon as he was awake which put me at ease. The whole experience was excellent, and my dog's teeth are as white as can be! I as well absolutely trust DR Babbar , he gave yet again proper diagnosis on my baby girl Kenya boxer massif mix , had uncontrollable itchy ears for a while so bad it woke me up and kept her up as well major rash and smell from them ,poop was very runny for a while too, He questioned me on her diet if anything was different ? I said no same food same treats (duck jerky) long story short I mentioned the change in the label of treats and said that was the problem she's suffering from an allergy to it , so with proper ear cleaner and meds the result came so quickly her ears all healed and poop nice and Normal again thank you DR BABBAR ( no more duck jerky)

We brought our puppy here when she was about 3 months old and was first given a medication which had an expiry date that had already passed. When called to inquire, they had stated that they had printed the wrong label and ensured that the product had not indeed expired. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and so we brought our puppy in again for a second visit to get the flea/tick medication. At the time, our puppy was 4 months old and they gave us a tick medication that was indicated for dogs 6 months and older (Simparica). They had not told us this and had I not read the product insert, I would have easily given the medication to my puppy not knowing that giving this med to a dog younger than 6 months would cause neurological defects. I immediately called and they had stated it was a mistake and was unsure as to why we would be given that. It's hard to feel that your dog is in good hands when mistakes have been made on more than one occasion. I have since changed vets and will never go back to McQueen.

Dr. Babar diagnosed our dog with a flaxseed and beef allergy via a blood test ($275), that other vets couldn't figure out! We had tried lots of different foods for eight years to figure it out but they all had flax! We finally have a much happier, less ichy dog who doesn't have constant ear infections. He also put him on a medication that forces fluid back into his joints, and the poor arthritic boy is moving better already. Amazing and inexpensive service.

Purchased a Persian cat who was brought to this clinic for shots. Apparently the breeder was very shady and was lying about using this clinic for follow up care. When the cat got very sick the receptionists at this clinic told me they fired her because she was neglectful and a lot of her cats died. Unfortunately our kitty died too. We are pursuing a law suit and were told that Dr. Babbar would back us up with a letter. He denied us the letter today saying he did not want to be involved. Why would a Veterinarian not write a letter trying to stop this woman from breeding other sick animals. Did he not take a vow to promote the health and welfare of helpless animals. Very disappointed!!!

I am -by all means- no one who shares reviews lightly. As many others, I also try to read the negative reviews first and compare them to my own experience, before typing up my lengthy comments. So, yes, of course it is about the money (??!!!) It is a business after all and I do not expect my vet to love my dog the way I do. If the vet knows what he is doing, this is the one I pick as I want the best doctor to cure my dog or keep him healthy, I need a vet not a dog sitter. I actually appreciate not to be fooled by a lovey-dovey doctor, which is just a different way to squeeze money out of people because - surprise surprise - this vet also runs a business. This does not mean that I do not appreciate honest empathy, but it is not a deciding factor for me when picking any doctor. Rude would be a different story- but there is never ever any rude or even slightly unprofessional behaviour at McQueen. If I would be asked to muzzle my dog by a vet who helps him to ease his pain - so be it! Even though my “hand full of a 120lbs dog” who could have turned into a very scary one in a split second was never muzzled. I am seeing this from the perspective of having a terminally ill dog, so not only from the regular check up’s and tick tablets point of view. There is one staff member that is “just” very friendly, which is perfect already, the others even go above and beyond at all times. Treating each other with a smile and respect is always a good way to start. The charges can be quite high, however this is what it is and you are getting rewarded with a healthy pet or an honest opinion plus all options. I am always able to get in the same or next day, which is very important to me when the pet is sick. My dog was only 5 years old, after a couple of tests we decided, to accept the referral to the Mississauga Animal Hospital. Rather than squeezing money out of us and -most importantly- not to put our pup through more stress, Dr B advised, that most of what he could do from here would needed to be tested at the hospital again, so he wanted to send us as early as possible. He explained that he would probably need to send us over at a certain point if we want to try to save our dog- which was an immediate “yes!” for us. He also made it very clear that the charges at the hospital are extremely high and that they will charge more for the same tests. Unfortunately, he could not be saved and passed away shortly after his 6th birthday. Although we were being treated at the Mississauga Animal Hospital for a year - not even visiting McQueen- a couple of weeks after his passing, I received a card from the whole team that I still have to this day. It was such a nice gesture and as everyone who lost a pet knows, everything helps. It was no question, which vet to chose when getting the new puppy. He can be a bit of a nervous crazy dog, in the sweetest way and the team at McQueen is always so welcoming. Everyone is so very patient with him. I do hear from others, who tried other vests in the area before choosing McQueen, that the rates can be a bit higher, but they also confirm that Dr B and his team are best. I would prefer if our pets could live with us happy and healthy forever - I am honestly not sure who decided that the lifespan of our furry friends is so short- but at least I know, when this time comes again, we are in the best hands. Thank you McQueen team for all you do!!

I am a first time pet owner and took my two kittens in for their first check-up. One of my kittens had a watery eye, and Dr. Babbar put my mind at ease and prescribed some eye drops which worked (after I figured out how to get my kitten to sit still for them). He took the time to explain, and follow up on how the kittens were doing about a week after the initial appointment. Everyone here is also very friendly, and clearly love caring for pets.

I had to give one star in order to post. Don't be fooled by catch phrases like I was. Affordable, on site lab, a Facebook page and catchy website. He cuts the costs in other ways i.e. not prescribing antibiotics before dental surgery. "Read the fine print" "read between the lines" are the catch phrases I'd recommend. The onsite lab might ok for routine analysis but not entirely accurate when details matter. The pricing is about average when compared to other Brampton vets. He focused on my ability to pay instead of examining my dog who displayed obvious signs of distress. I did pay the ransom for the inaccurate and incomplete blood analysis. I cancelled the upcoming dental surgery because Dr. Babbar ignored the mouth infection and the fact my dog was almost bald. I feared my dog would die. Total lack of respect from him. It was a traumatic and very demeaning experience for me!
