Fantastic vets. Very informative of my cat's condition. They are better than the last few I have been to. These previous vets just did tests with no real solutions. This Lakeridge vet gave numbers, options, and actually took him in to give him an IV, and meds, while they monitored. The in hospital treatment with the meds, and monitoring was not as expensive as expected thank goodness. They also didn't make us wait as long, or entirely outside during COVID.

Very, very, very rude!!! VERY RUDE. I can't say enough how they so lack respect and kindness when you don't pay to get them do something for you. I called to confirm if a microchip was put into my cat (getting hopeful as he has gone missing) and the woman on the other line huffed at me, looked into my file and said, "No, so goodluck finding your cat" in a very sarcastic, rub-it-in-my-face kind of way.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. The vet techs are very sweet, and have always been so friendly! This is a good place to take your dog if they're relatively healthy and just need a yearly checkup. My issue comes from the vets' handling of dogs with chronic issues. They KEPT insisting on keeping my dog on the same allergy medicine. For months. It wasn't working. It was very clear it wasn't working. I felt really rushed and dismissed every time I tried talking to them about it, and they were just stuck in what they wanted. They said "oh he probably has allergies, here's medicine". Didn't even do a skin scraping, recommend a food elimination diet, anything. Just medicine. They didn't even try different medications! Just the same one! Sometimes they'd randomly tack on other medications or supplements without explaining why, and it was so incredibly frustrating. They never took the time to explain WHY my dog was being prescribed certain things and just did it. I felt so lost. My poor dog was so itchy and red all the time, and they just told me at one point to keep him inside then instead of actively trying to figure something out. I get allergies are hard to figure out, but its like these guys just stopped trying. Don't get me wrong! These guys care about animals and have a solid team. They're just...meh, and I personally don't want to settle for average care. I switched veterinary clinics and the difference in care is night and day. I guess go to these guys if you just need routine care because they are cheaper than other vets. You get what you pay for.

We took our dog there after a serious case of Lepto. We were just there to get his anti biotic. The vet ran a blood test and gave us the WORST SCARE. They didn't take into consideration the whole week of hospitalization that he just got released from a couple days prior. In case they are reading this, our dogs kidney values our now down to 200 and dropping, and that was without putting him back on IV like this vet insisted on. Very Disappointed and will not go back.

Wasn't happy with the service from Dr. Sohi. I Brought my dog here years ago and Dr. Sohi was hesitant to touch him because he was a pitbull. We came in because my dog caught "kennel cough" from the neighbors new dog they got from the pound. Whatever he gave my dog made the hair around his eyes, on his chest and belly fall out and never grew back. When I called to ask why this was I got blown off like he didnt care. Was not happy with his service and would never bring an animal back to this vet office. He was very unprofessional and seemed very rushed and just wanted money. His prices maybe a little cheaper than other vets but you get what you pay for. If you love your furbabies dont bring them to this vet!!

Dr. Allen is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She comforted our family by ensuring we understood our loved puppy’s condition and by answering any questions we had. She made herself available for us even when extremely busy, and ensured we knew every step of the procedure she would be taking. It is easy to tell that Dr. Allen truly cares about her pet patients and is willing to get them the best care they require. I would recommend Dr. Allen to anyone looking for a new vet! I am a retired vet assistant that just moved to the area and I have two puppy mill rescues. I was looking for a new vet in the area as both the dogs are special needs and have lots of health problems, they also needed their shots and teeth done. ($$$) When I was speaking to the receptionist I was explaining that I needed special bloodwork done for one of the dogs as he has a thyroid imbalance that makes it difficult to keep weight on. I was told by whom ever answered the phone that I was wrong and that thyroid problems do not cause weight LOSS. but only weight GAIN in dogs and she said it with conviction - so someone who was not as experience would've believed her. But this information is VERY incorrect. Thyroid problems can cause weight fluctuations in either direction - gain or loss. So if you do choose to be a client here - just do your research and get a second opinion. If their front desk staff is that uneducated I would definitely be aware of what the techs and vets are doing. I have heard negative things about this place from other people as well. I always take what others say about a business with a grain of salt, but totally believe the clients stories after that one short interaction I had. Damn, what a shame. Their prices were the best out of everyone I called too. So cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

Over priced on certain services. They don't call you to get permission for blood work. They do it and expect you to pay for it. I also found that I paid hundreds of dollars for a diagnosis that took another vet one try with a test. Money hungry!

Would give 0 stars if given the chance. Dr.Sohi is very rude,unprofessional and ignorant. When giving vaccinations he would through used needles into the sink instead if disposing them properly. Wasn't personable whatsoever. Was the main reason our dog had to be put down; she had pancreatitis and was diagnosed with diabetes which put us up to about $3000 in bills for her to stay to be on fluids and small doses of insulin. Sohi told us to increase insulin levels from 5 units and 3 units per day to 8 units twice a day which caused complete blindness in our dog not 4 days later. Which in turn lowered her quality of life so much as she couldn't even go outside to do her business. When her final day came, Sohi shaved her one leg to insert the IV and missed the vein, so they had to do it all again on her other leg. Once they got that in, the vet tech had our dog who wouldn't hurt a fly in a headlock and did not tell us when he gave her the injection. He just looked at my family and said "ok,it's done". Not a peaceful or pleasant experience by any means. We will NEVER go back to him. If you love your pets and consider them family,save yourself and your animals and take them somewhere else. Do NOT go here!

Dr.Sohi is a great vet! In the initial consultation, Dr.Sohi explained exactly what the issue was and the next steps. He did not push for any unnecessary tests. My cat had a surgery to remove a lump and he did an excellent job. Couldn't even tell where the incision site was. He also has an amazing staff. Melissa and Joe are so polite, knowledgeable, and very patient. They took their time to explain everything to me and I feel that they really care about the well-being of all pets.

The blonde receptionist is a very sweet lady, she was very nice to me during my visit. I appreciate her kindness. Although for Mr.Sohi, he is an ignorant man. During my pets exam he was very rude to me and very pushy for me to spend 200$ just to get a swab done. Not to mention he was LAUGHING while speaking to me and smirking at everything I said. He was also being very dismissive with what I had to say. He did not take my pets concern seriously and did not even exam my pet. All he did was check her heart beat. What the hell am I paying “$60.00 for??? For you to use a tethescope ? The fee is for an EXAMINATION... in which I did not receive. I had explained that I have gotten multiple tests done by multiple vets being $576.00 deep in bills. Nothing has ever been problematic/found in the tests I have had done so I didn’t wanna proceed with any more testing, it has been a waste of money for my pet who is very healthy & clearly has no issues. Not to mention he didn’t believe that I had tests done at other offices so he decided to call all of them to get my files. And the technician with black hair? Just as rude. This place is full of attitude ridden people. All I can say is thank god the receptionist is a nice lady. Overall the visit was a terrible experience, I will not be coming back to this office. The vetrinarian is just as bad as any other, they don’t care about your pet they care about your money going in their pocket. Save your time and money and go to a different veterinarian !!!!

This place only cares about is you spending your money for unnecessary tests. They do tests and don't ask for permission and they don't inform you know how much it will cost. Then you go to pay and are given an outrageous bill that you weren't expecting. Their prices for medicine and tests are ridiculously overpriced. I've been going to this vet for years and after my last experience I will never bring my dog here again.

Honestly the worst experience anyone could have. I took my cat here because he started to get sick, the vet said it could be his kidneys but he needed to do blood and xrays to see what's really going on. Spent a fortune on that just for him to tell me it was kidney failure when he clearly knew that was the case. Then he told me my cat would live close to 5 months if I gave him injections of fluid so he wouldn't be dehydrated, so more money spent on that. By the next day my cat was bleeding from his mouth and I call the vet just for him to tell me he thinks he should be euthanized. How does it go from having 5 months to live to the next day saying he should be euthanized? All a money grab and such a waste of time. I love my pets and they clearly don't care about quality of work in this place. Definitely do not recommend going there AT ALL. couldn't be more disappointed. I took my cat to Kennedy road vet which is an amazing clinic and they made us feel comfortable in this difficult time. Never going back to this vet clinic.

Dr. Sohi is an unqualified Vetenerary..he missed diagnosed my dog...instead of doing a neurological exam on my baby he quickly dismiss our concerns about a limping leg.. Dr. Sohi give us the usual stomach issues and what is even worst he prescribed us to walked her rigth after seeing him. Short story long..my baby was paralyzed next day with IVDD (slipped disk on her back)..when I took her the next day to see him..Dr.Sohi being as ignorant as he can be forced my dog to walk..then he went ahead and did a neurological exam..after seeing he's missed diagnoseis..He referred me to emergency to a neurologist he knew where just the consultation was $380 and to face a $5000 surgery. Dr. Sohi dissappear rigth after that..charge me again a total of $135 for his misdiagnosis and let me out hanging with my baby paralyzed. Took her to a respectable hospital for a second opinion...where I found out I missed precious time dealing with this unqualified Vet. when I confronted him about it...he lied saying he did do a neurological exam the first time..I told him he was liar.. my wife and I and my daughter saw he didn't do the neurological exam. I told him I was gonna go to the clinic and tell everybody this..he beg me not to...and gave a check for $150...what clowed Dr Sohi is...like $20 dollars extra is gonna buy my silence. ... There is no a price for your misdiagnosed incompetent..arrogant clown.. I want everybody to know what kind of Vet. Dr Sohi is.. and not to take a chance with your baby's pets...this careless arrogant ignorant Vet. Will not care about then.. He just in for the money.. I have his checked here to prove it.

I went about a month ago for a regular checkup for my dog, vaccines, and to get him checked for ticks since he did get ticks. My Golden retriever was in there for no longer than 5 minutes. The doc called me and asked if I got his vaccines elsewhere, I said no they're due. So he said okay and hung up the phone. I get a call from the receptionist a minute later saying that he's been vaccinated, blood work has been done, and they didn't find any ticks. Bloodwork is extra cost, they did not tell me it is or even mention a thing about bloodwork. The other thing I don't understand is how they can check a furry golden retriever for ticks, do bloodwork, and vaccinate him in under 5 minutes. Clearly soemthing was skipped. I'll be looking for a new VET now, one that takes their time with pets and is upfront and honest with their clients. To me money isn't the big issue, the issue is when there is no honesty involved.
