I love this place! I have 3 dogs and they know them all and me by name. They give the best advise and care to my dogs I have ever seen - even giving my 3 kids a tour of the back operation area after my puppy got fixed. Just had my first visit to this vet for one of my dogs as I am switching from a vet in Barrie as it is closer to where I live now. Covid protocols are still in place so you park and speak to the vet over the phone, but I was pleased with the professionalism of the doctor and attending vet technicians.

What can I say, this Veterinary clinic is one of the best. Staff are very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. They worked around their busy schedule to accommodate my baby, and worked late and even put up with my constant calling. They took on a surgery that other vets refused. I'm so thankful for all the hard work, to save my Spike. Definitely two thumbs up. Definitely recommending to all my friends and family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The people working here are very nice and helpful, there is a large space at the back of the building (where parking is available) and you can let your pet walk around there safely (stoop and scoop) I started taking my dog here after my previous vets' customer service was not always consistant.

I have to admit that I’ve always been skeptical with regards to the necessity of visiting the veterinarian on a regular basis. I adopted my kitten out of province way back in 2004 and after the initial neutering and needles I elected to stop the visits mainly due to the fact my cat was strictly kept indoors. Earlier this year (2019) I noticed my cat’s behaviour started to change. He seemed to be suffering from arthritis. I decided after reading a lot of good Google reviews to take him to Heart Lake Vet. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been more impressed with a business than I was when I first visited Heart Lake Vet. All the staff that I had the pleasure of meeting were not only professional, knowledgeable and friendly but also seem to really enjoy their job. I can’t say enough about what a positive experience I had and when I had to make the difficult decision to end my little buddy’s suffering the doctor and staff were really supportive. They even sent a beautiful condolences card with personal messages. If I ever decide to adopt another pet I will absolutely take them to Heart Lake Vet. In my opinion they’re the best.

Been going to this clinic for about 11 years. They always treat their patients with care and try to help with anything to keep your pets in amazing health. They just did a minor surgery for my doggo and removed a mass that was on his cheek and it went extremely well. Pogo says thank you btw!

I brought our cat in for rectal bleeding and the vet was focused on their teeth. when i went to pick up the antibiotics the first question was when to schedule the $1700 plus dental surgery and nothing about the reason why we came, rectal bleeding. The best part our nurtured male was declared a female regardless of the Adoption record and previous visits at the same clinc. Off to find a new vet.

My Vet Clinic had Covid-19 outbreak and they emailed my dog's heart medication to Heart Lake Veterinary Hospital to fill. Usually I pay $133.85 for the medication at Kennedy Vet Hospital but was charged $185.88 at Heart Lake Vet Hospital for the identical medication. This is $53.02 extra which is whopping 39% mark up. I feel sorry for all pet owners at Heart Lake Veterinary clinic if that is the prices they are paying for their pets vet care services. This industry is unregulated and everybody can charge what ever they want so please shop around. It seems based on my experience that if you want to overpay Heart Lake Veterinary Hospital is a place for you.

I was so anxious bringing my dog in for his exam. The staff were amazing. From the ladies at the front desk to the doctor herself. They were thorough and gentle with my dog. A not so great situation turned into a nice over all experience for me and my dog. My dog is already feeling better and I will only ever go to this clinic.

Edit. Unfortunately after Dr Nawas left the standard of care changed significantly. It used to be personable and very caring. That changed. We were never told specifics on test results for our dog that we have now found out elsewhere. Things that can cause long term harm. Unfortunately just not the same. And we have moved to another bet. Love Dr Nawas. She takes care of my princess like she is her own and has even called my home to check up on her. I would not hesitate to recommend her and this vet and I drive close to 45 minutes to see her because of the outstanding care we receive

Very rude stuff and always trying to make a dollar. Was told my dog had to be sedated to get his teeth cleaned. Took my dog to another vet for a second opinion and new vet didnt find a reason why my dog needed to get his teeth clean. my dog is 6 years old and his teeth are like a 1yr old. because they are well taken care. Heart lake are scammers and don't get me started on the groomer. ps: the receptionist is a **** and karma will get her. she talks bad about clients to other vets. I decided to use a new vet because i was getting tired of getting ripped for unnecessary tests . and the new vet said some pretty surprising stuff about what the receptionist told her about certain clients at heart lake. she should get fired. she is very unprofessional and a hypocrite.

The best Vet I've been to. They are very knowledgeable and took care of my dog (koba) when no other vet could figure out what was wrong with him. Dr. Verma and the technicians are incredible. Dr. Varma Senior has been looking after our pets since 1991. We had a rare large breed Akbash that lived for 12.5 years (they don't usually live that long). For many years our pets needed nothing more than an annual visit in contrast to the dog and cat we have now - difficult to diagnose and develop effective, sustainable treatment plans for. We find this clinic to be innovative, compassionate and sensible. The staff is a joy to work with and the clinic offers a convenient online store for prescription food delivery.
