I just want to say i took my kitty, Rily to Brisdale Animal Hospital, and i was so happy i did, the staff are amazing and Dr.Deepa is a great vet, loved how she handled Riley and examined her, i will be going back again and keeping her as Riley's vet, i am very happy with the service of this vet clinic

***UPDATE ON MY REVIEW*** January 24, 2013So I went away to New York for a funeral on October 26, 2012. My aunt stayed at my house for the weekend to cat sit. That same kitten that was sick got even worse and she had no choice but to bring my little Posh back to this vet because all the records are there. She was told by Dr. Moodian that it would cost 300+ dollars. My aunt said she did not have that kind of money but Poshs' owner would pay him when she returns. The doctor went on a tirade saying that we will never find these prices in town and he needs money now etc. Eventually he took the cat in knowing that this would violate animal rights but turning a sick cat away. He took the cat and in the morning I phoned from new york to find out how my beloved kitten was doing. The receptionist said SHE IS DEAD. We asked if anyone was there over night, Stephanie said no. These people left my 8 week old kitten to die alone. . If they knew they could not keep her why didn't they direct my aunt to the emergency clinic. Not only that but they covered it up. At first Stephanie said the doctor did not know about it, then the doctor is telling a different story that the receptionist did tell him. There was a lot of shady stories and I was stressed out. The lies that were told that weekend was amazing. I could not figure out who was telling the truth. I had gathered if thing I could to sue. He called us in to talk and reimburse the money we spent on her. The only reason why I did not go further was because I believe in Karma. If I was seeking to ruin his life, mine would be ruined. So we started afresh. He credited which was great and offered a new kitten. I did not take that kitten. We believed in him and continued. Even after the credit was finished I still came by and paid out my own pocket. Second chances. That was a mistake. Then this week we came in to have my cat neutered they turned us away because they said we gave them a bad review. How unprofessional? So what if I did? That was months ago and it was warranted. You killed my cat and we forgave you. Why didn't you call us to let us know that instead of having us starve our cat for 12 hours and waste our time by taking the day from work. This place is shady and Karma will reward them. The receptionist are rude and cold. There is so much to the story but my point is. SAVE YOUR TIME, SAVE THE LIVES OF YOUR PETS AND SAVE YOUR ENERGY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE IN BRAMPTON!!!! I have reported them to the governing board of vets in Ontario. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******DO NOT BRING CATS HERE!*****I did not have a pleasant experience here. Date October 20, 2012 mid day. The receptionist was nice thought. I read the comments here and thought it would be a good idea. I was wrong. I didn't get any "free" first visit. My kittens had a really bad case of diarrhea. He was very insensitive (Indian doc I believe). Told me how they could die and needed to do a viral test to see if they would die anyway.CWTF?? I did not take the test. You want more money just because??? haha w/e. I was so upset. He scorned them, handled my 8 week old kittens very harshly. They were so scared and he did nothing to try and make it comfortable I was very heart-broken leaving that office and will never return.

We have an extra large dog that required a special surgery to relieve him from glaucoma pain. Our usual vet didn't perform this surgery as it is so specialized, but Dr. Saggar was confident to do the surgery as her vet clinic has done it before, and had successful outcomes. We were confident after visiting her clinic that our loved dog was in great hands. They had us scheduled when we were ready and comfortable, not pressured into getting it done right away, and the surgery itself was great. They kept him comfortable after the surgery, and had a big enough space for him to rest and recover for the day until he was ready for pickup. We brought him home and asked questions over-the-phone and got quick answers back. All in all, an amazing experience, the front desk staff was wonderful and friendly and reminded us of our upcoming appointments. What was initially a very sad and scary surgery for our big boy turned into a great pain relief for him...and we couldn't be more happy with how it all turned out. Thank you Dr. Saggar and Brisdale Animal Hospital for all you did for our big boy!!

I got a new puppy during the pandemic and it’s the first dog I’ve ever had. The staff at the clinic aren’t only kind but are always willing to go above and beyond to help and provide support when needed. Dr.Deepa is incredibly professional and has provided us with the perfect care for my puppy! You can tell they genuinely care for the well-being of the animals. Brisdale animal hospital has also taken their COVID-19 pandemic precautions very seriously in order to keep their patients and staff safe!! Kudos to Dr.Deepa and her staff !!

This is the most terrible experience I have had. They complicated a simple surgery (fixing my dog) and after two days our dog started bleeding uncontrollably which made us have to take her to the emergency care vet, which costed $400+ . When confrontationing the vet about the lack of care he told us to get out the clinic and that he didn't want us there. Overall it was a terrible experience and we had the endure the suffering of our dog, I strongly don't recommend going to the vet, terrible care leaving our dog in pain.

I am working with this vet through Toronto Rescue Services. I phoned this morning regarding the kittens wound opening up after the spay surgery done at this vet. The receptionist was very rude and kept hanging up and refusing to let me speak to the vet for I didnt want to deal with her rudeness anylonger. End result she kept hanging up. Unless you hate your pets, I wouldn't bring them to this vet hospital. Service is crappy...skills are questionable and Stephanie needs a lesson is customer service.

Friendly staff, everyone is super understanding especially Jassi. My cat cut his ear and my family called the clinic 5 minutes before closing and Jassi was so helpful and understanding and stayed overtime to help us. She ensured he was okay and provided him with the care he needed. She’s so sweet and i can tell she takes her job seriously and cares for her patients. I’d 100% recommend this clinic, the staff is so down to earth and helpful!

Unfortunately meeting with the vet for the first time was awkward and uncomfortable. She was very quick to get in and get out. I was told she doesn’t like dealing with men but that shouldn’t be an issue as my pet is the patient. A vet should actually care about animals and not about people. Being a first time visit with my dog I expected some sort of interaction or questions. I also asked a few questions but I got nothing. She seemed kinda rude to be honest. The staff was friendly. That was the first and last visit for my dog. I wouldn’t send anyone there with there pet.

My sister’s dog passed in the worst condition, he was twice to see her and she never touch him or examined she just give shots for pain , he suffer a lot , the way how the vet did check up on our poor dog just visual , she said he had allergies , very good to charge 700 dollars for nothing !!! He had cancer several tumours were growing under his leg , lungs , he couldn’t walk everything happened in two weeks , we took her second time and she blood test , and results were excelente she said healthy dog , please if you love your pets , this is the worst place to take them , is all about money, in the beginning it was ok , but now is horrible , how can you live about blood test??!! No touch patients no deep examination nothing, we realize about cancer because we took him to a clinic in Toronto referral by another clinic in Brampton . He suffer a lot and his family too

I came accross this clinic aftrler trying others unsuccessfully. I looked at the reviews and although there are some bad ones I decided to try Dr Aman Moondian. When analyzing the reviews I didn't really see major concerns and being a business owner I know sometimes people are just difficult. Bottom line is Dr Aman was very professional, did not push me into spending extra money like other clinics do ans treated my dog right there in front of me, which many vets don't. My dog is now better. I'm very happy with the whole experience and I became a client from that moment on.

We had to put our elder cat down and the felt as though the vet was not very compassionate, nor kind or professional. We were not allowed to hold her during her final moments, and the vet did not provide us the opportunity to say good bye or explain the procedure to us before hand. Instead, her assistant just brought the dead cat out to us. It saddens me to think that she spent her final moments with this vet. While she was being euthanized, we could hear our cat meowing in pain in the next room while the vet had a normal conversation. The whole process seemed very rushed - like the vet just wanted to move on to the next patient, and she seemed to lack any empathy or compassion for our cat, and her situation. I would not recommend bringing your pet here for end of life care.

I've started coming to this clinical with my kitten named Milo. He is now nearly nine months and has had all check ups, vaccinations, and fixing done here. All staff members have provided Milo excellent care and have helped me with every question I have had. Everyone here is so welcoming, kind, and is ready to help. I always recommend this place to my friends who are looking for a new vet as Dr.Deepa is very professional and reliable.

I have been taking my dog to this vet clinic for over five years and was shocked to read these reviews about Dr. Moondian and his staff. Dr Moondian is a wonderful vet who has always treated my dog kindly and with the utmost respect. I believe he always has the animal's best interest in mind and has presented different treatment options for myself to carefully consider first before proceeding. I have never found anyone rude in his office and feel that these reviews are not reflective of him or his staff. His assistants have always been friendly, available and willing to help me when I have even dropped in without an appointment to fit me into the schedule. Once when my mother in law was house/pet sitting for us while we were on holidays, his staff were incredible patient and helpful when my mother in law called and dropped in multiple times to his office with concerns of my dog when we away. I have had my dog's teeth cleaned here (under aesthetic) and had no issues with the way she was handled or treated during or after the surgery. His staff have always followed up diligently for post care questions and check ups. Dr. Moondian always gives options of possible treatments and helps guide me with budgets. I have found his prices extremely competitive with other clinics and in fact, not as pricey as most clinics which I greatly appreciate. I know that Dr. Moondian attends many workshops and lectures on different surgeries and keeps up with new technologies that can aid in his field of work. He prides himself on running a clean, thoughtful, friendly and up to date clinic whose main concern is the animal's well being. I will continue to bring my dog to Brisdale Animal Clinic and keep Dr Moondian as my primary caregiver to my dog because I trust and respect his work and his opinions.

By far the worst animal hospital I have ever visited, and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone who cares about their pet. When I brought my puppy in, the veterinarian's assistant dropped him and neglected to clean after him properly. Along with that, the woman at the front desk is very rude and unprofessional, just like the rest of the staff. It is extremely overpriced, and according to the other reviews here, clearly a majority of the visitors were not satisfied either. When I brought my puppy in, they gave him an expensive shot to "stop his vomiting." He was never even vomiting in the first place. If you are looking at the reviews to decide whether or not you want to bring your pet here, do yourself (and your wallet) a favour and go somewhere else. I read the reviews before I came to Brisdale and although the majority are negative, I went to this hospital anyway. I quickly learned that I should never have gone in the first place, and you shouldn't either.

I took my cat here to get declawed 5 months ago, recommended from a friend who had her cat have the same surgery. Hers went very well apparently, but when my cat came back the next day he was more scared than he had ever been. His leg was swelled up 5 times the normal size, and there was blood everywhere. I emailed a picture of his leg to them and one vet said i need to come back. I live in Etobicoke, i went all the way back there for the vet to just tell me it was normal. When i talked to my friend about what happened, she said it wasn't normal at all. They were also supposed to give me a special Kitty litter after the surgery that i didn't get, and didn't know i was supposed to get. I went back several times just for them to keep giving me more pain medicine. After a while i decided I'm done. Now its several months later, he has completely healed. BUT theres a huge patch of hair on one of his legs that NEVER grew back, and one of his paw pads is split in half, and another part of his paw pad looks like it was cut off during the surgery. Never saw it before cause he wouldn't let me touch it, I'm assuming it hurt too much. If you care about your pets DO NOT bring them here. I have no idea what happened that night i left him there, his paw pads should not be damaged, and that hair should have grown back by now.

Our Pet Dog developed a lump on her right side. Being concerned we called our Veterinarian, Dr. Deepa and she told us to bring our pet in for a complementary check up. That was very thoughtful of her. We found her to be very knowledgeable and experienced as she told us the cause of the lump and advised us the treatment. She removed the lump and did the spade at the same time at a very reasonable fee which was a great help to us. She was very kind, compassionate and thoughtful. She was very patient with us during this stressful time. She is really an animal lover. We recommend her to anyone. Her staff was very friendly and helpful. We also liked her clinic as it was very clean. We feel very blessed to have had Dr. Deepa to do our pet's treatment. She is the best Veterinarian in Brampton. Thank your Dr. Deepa and Staff at Brisdale Animal Hospital. We will be going to remove the drip tomorrow and the stitches in 10 days and will be happy once all this is over and our pet is healthy and normal again.

The doctor was afraid of my dog. How are you afraid of a dog and work with dogs ? Clearly after the money and doesn't know anything. My dog has never bitten anyone and is one of nicest dogs out there, truly a gentle giant. Even my dog was uncomfortable around him. Overall a horrible doctor, only go here if you don't care about your dog.

We would like to praise the wonderful work Dr. Deepa Saggar and Staff Girls do. In January our beloved pup Misiu was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. We were ready to do anything possible to extend his life. Dr. Deepa recommended a vet oncologist in Toronto. We started chemo treatments, full of hope. Unfortunately, after fighting for 2 months it didn't work. We had to make the most painful decision. Dr Deepa and the nurse helped us to say goodbye to Misiu. They were very sympathetic and emotionally supportive. We continue to visit the clinic for our 2 cats and we are confident with their care for them. Recently Dr. Deepa Saggar performed dental surgery on our cat Lilly, and everything went very well, she's in great shape. The Staff Girls are very friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure to talk with them. We highly recommend the service given by Dr. Deepa Saggar and the Staff at Brisdale Animal Hospital. Great job everyone and thank you !!!

Dr Deepa and her staff are absolutely fantastic ! 1) first dog was diagnose at snelgrove as having blocked tear ducts, I questioned the diagnosis ( I thought it was a dental issue. Took Matilda to Dr. Deepa,sure enough she had a tooth broken under the gum line. Absces gone, Matilda doing great. 2) Sheila was obviously ill, not eating, out sorts,no energy. We took her to Dr.Deepa, within 5 minutes she had diagnosed her with pyometra and scheduled surgery for Monday 6/25/18. Now it's Thursday 6/28/18 ,Sheila is acting as if nothing was ever wrong. She's happy ,she's eating , she's playful . Thank you Dr. Deepa and staff for looking after our beautiful girls with care and professionalism. I have taken my dog to multiple clinics and this one is by far my favourite. When it comes to my pet I am looking for the quality of care, not the price on the vet bill. However, this clinic does have cheaper rates compared to others I have been to if you are looking to save money. The doctor is very nice, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Reading some of the negative reviews, I truly think a lot of them are coming from lack of education and research on the owners part.

What a terrible doctor or should I even call him a doctor. I went in there for a check up for my dogs ear infection. He used some sort of solution to clean my dog's ear. He then without my permission was going to inject my dog with a needle. I said no and asked him what that was and how much it was. He didn't even tell me the price or asked before he was about to inject my dog with it. I said no and that the cleaning solution should be enough. I paid the small fee for that and it cleared up. The fact that he was going to inject my dog without my consent was unacceptable. He insisted without even telling me what it would do. Clearly a bad vet. Go here on your own risk.

We went to this vet based on convenient location. I would not recommend this vet. My dog had a small spot on his hind quarters, didn't bother him but we took him in for Dr Moondian to look at it. This vet squeezed it as hard as he could, made it bleed and nothing else came out of it. He asked if we fed him that day, of course we had, and he was annoyed because he wanted to do surgery to remove it right away. i went to leave and they tried to book me to come back the next morning for surgery, I said I would let them know when it was good for me. They called the next day insisting I bring him in for surgery, which I found overly rude, I said I would call them and instead I soaked it with some salt water on a papertowel. 2 weeks later the spot was gone, no issue. Yet the vet tried to make it appear he needed surgery right away. Big money scam. I also went once for a routine appn't and was kept waiting over 30 mins in a tiny, over heated room and not once did anyone advise there was a delay. we left and will never go back.

I was not informed properly about revolution for my dog. I was under the impression he was protected against Lyme disease... Guess what!? My dog now has Lyme disease because of this clinic. Also if your pet is not easy to deal with.."ace" is what they will use...and they used it on my dog without explaining what could happen to my dog...now my dog has an even bigger fear of the vet. I now go to Snelgrove veterinarian services. They actually care about your pet and take the time to explain medications and work with dogs that have vet phobias.

I've been coming to see Dr.M for about 7 years and he takes excellent care of my cats. He always tells me honestly what needs to be done if there is any issue that arises. I have never felt I'm being sold something that is not necessary. My cat needed a complicated surgery last year, and Dr.M took care of her and discussed all our options beforehand so we knew what the right decision was. He even came in on his weekend extra early to help us get the scans she needed with a third party ultrasound technician who came to their location. In the end she was back to normal very quickly and we are very grateful for this. If you want an honest vet who can cure your pet he's the guy. I've been through too many other vets who have tried to fool us into unnecessary treatments and care more about money than the animal. It was refreshing to find a vet that we can work with and trust to take care of our cats.

I really wished I had taken more of the reviews online about this vet seriously. I like to have my own impressions of this places. Point blank the worst experience I have ever had. The most rude staff I have ever come across. I am almost tempted to see the overweight lady who works in the morning is a female dog, if you catch my drift. Dr. Moodian, it is clear you wanted to be a medial doctor treating HUMANS and did not make the cut. So you decided, hey why not be a vet. Your love for animals is not there, and even though you fake it I can see right through it. Due to negligence my puppy died. They left him over night with no night staff while he was very sick. I don't understand how that happens. Never again. I am currently seeking a lawyer and have already reported them to the authorities. They don't deserve to be open and believe me I will not rest.

I have been coming to this place for over a year now. We moved to this area and looking for a vet and the place came highly recommended. I have an older dog who gets excellent care at this place and I recently got a puppy. Dr. Deepa is extremely caring and the care goes beyond our visits. My puppy was not feeling well and not only I got great care for him at the hospital but regular follow up messages from Dr. Deepa to ensure he is getting well. I have never seen that kind of care in my 15 plus years of owning pets and going to vets. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a peace of mind that their pets will be taken care of.

This place is nothing but a money grab! Dr. Dipa is the worst vet that probably exists. Do not go here if you love your pet and are actually looking for a solution for your pets well being. Apart from being a money grab there are other issues as well. This place needs to be reviewed by the vet association.

I called about 10 vets in the area because I didn't get paid until Friday. Nobody would even consider looking at my dog without payment. I explained how my lab was behaving and they told me to bring her in right away, we will work something out. I got there and my dog needed emergency surgery. They saved her life. She would have died. I saw the infection that was inside of her and couldn't believe how close I had come to losing her. They truly care about the animals well being... I am forever greatful... thank you with all or my heart for saving my fur baby ❤
