We have been taking our dogs to this clinic for nearly 30 years. The staff clearly loves animals. We were sad when the old vets decided to retire, but are pleased to find that the new vet, Dr. Lee, is carrying on their commitment to excellent and compassionate care.

I have been taking our animal family members here for 10 years, and each time feeling like we were welcome. Our Lab, passed away at 16.5 years old, and our new baby was introduced to the Dr's 2 years ago. Recently we had to take our dog "Twinkle" to an emergency clinic in Willowdale and were unable to sign for an exorbitant document as we wanted to be able to have our vet look at her. The following morning without sleep as we cared for our baby all night, and agreed top leave her with them to bring her back to health. We were just starting to make the arrangements and she died before our eyes. It has left us devastated, but wanted to at least recognize the BVH to be truly looking after our pets. Their fees are affordable and reasonable, as we found out with this experience, as they charged 1/3 of other clinics. Sometimes situations place restrictions on what we can afford, as much as we love our pets, but to gouge like the Clinic in Willowdale did is inexcusable. Come to BVH and experience a group of professionals that have hearts.

Had an emergency , was taken care of right away . Exceptional professional service , the vet walks you through everything , you can tell he cares and isn't just there to gouge you, he'll do his best to save you money when he can , fair prices . My cat needed emergency treatment this week and was in dire straights. I was appalled that my regular vet would not take her and the vets in my area (downtown Toronto) wouldn't take her as a new patient for an emergency. I called Brampton Veterinary Hospital as a last resort because it was my vet before I moved here. Dr. Lee and his team not only saw me the same day but somehow revived my cat that was booked for euthanization the next day. Dr. Lee takes his time explaining your options, the pros, cons and the cost. They are so gentle with my little girl and I can't thank them enough for what they did for me! This cat has no idea she almost died this week! I know it doesn't change her prognosis but if I can get another week or month, I'm forever grateful.

Having visited this vet twice, both times i have been pleasantly surprised by the professional and approachable manner of the vets and their team. Prices are very reasonable and they are happy to explain options and cost breakdown of the treatment involved. You don't leave there feeling you are just source of income for the practice. My previous cat of 20 years was with the Brampton Veterinary Clinic. The vets were always caring and informative down to my cat's last day. I became a cat parent again but decided to with another clinic. I brought my cat there recently as my other vet is booked. I was impressed with the staff and with Dr. Lee. Dr Lee was very informative. Told me about options and I can tell that he is passionate about what he does. I may well return to my old vet home. :)

I used to go to another vet in brampton, but decided to stop going there due to a bad experience. I chose to go to Brampton Vet instead because it was close to my house. So far, I've been really pleased with this vet hospital. The receptionists are always very kind and patient, which makes a world of a difference. Although I've actually never been inside due to the pandemic, I'm pleased with the interactions I've had so far. Thank you!

Dr. Frank Lee treated me EXTREMELY POORLY when I brought my pup in to receive care. When he was making suggestions on next steps to diagnosis, I asked a few questions to gain clarity and decided to yell at me and say "well if you shut up and listen to me you would understand." I replied that I was just trying to understand what he was saying and he yelled at me again to "stop yapping... just take your dog and go somewhere else". I cannot believe that I was spoken to like that by someone who I was trying to entrust with my pup to see what the problem is. Even his receptionist came and apologized to me when I came to pick up my dog. Dr. Frank Lee was very disrespectful, and even when I inquired why he was displaying an attitude towards me. I don't like being spoken down to or treated as though I am not deserving of fair service, when I am just trying to get care for my dog. ****UPDATE SINCE THEIR RESPONSE**** I find it very interesting that you would try to discredit what occurred during the call, as it was not a three-way so the only person that can attest to what occurred is Dr. Frank Lee himself. If you could please explain how I was being belligerent, as I was merely asking questions to further understand what was going on with my dog and what were the next steps. Contrary to what you stated - I did not refuse to go to the 24 hours pet hospital; I explained that I work as a nurse which makes me unable to sit around and wait to be seen - which is why I booked the appointment in the first place. If you could also explain which staff I was rude to, as your receptionist and several others in the waiting room apologized on Dr.Frank Lee's behalf for his behaviour towards me. I also find it interesting that the clinic had time to contact a previous vet to get a review on my interactions, but have not taken the time to retrieve my pet's file. The fact that there are other reviews that mention similar interactions show the common factor is Dr. Frank Lee.

When my dog passed they pressured us in to using the memorial service company they are partnered with making it seem like we have no other option and when we chose another company they charged us for holding my dogs body. I highly recommend using any other memorial company because the company they recommend has very unfair prices and doesn’t allow anyone to visit the service apparently it is due to Covid but all restrictions are lifted now. They also still don’t allow anyone in to the vet with their pet also due to Covid when virtually everything else is open now. Very paranoid individuals. On top of this they asked me for payment for cremation minutes after letting me know my dog had passed not even giving us time to process what just happened. I reached out to eco elegance pet after care and they took care of everything very respectfully and for 3/4 of the price also we were able to have visitation and a private room for our last goodbyes

Dr.Lee did an exceptional job with the surgery, and I appreciated the follow up phone calls and appointments which made sure my dog was fully better.

Hello, I am going to write this review since I just read your response to my wife's review. I did not decline any appointment for euthanasia on sept 17th. I declined bringing her in for needles and told your secretary we needed to talk to you about euthanasia. So please do not twist things I never once asked you to call my wife. I told your secretary for you to call me. I personally called several times so do not say its untrue. The truth is you did not return a call until my wife posted the review today . You in fact said grandparent is old would you put it down as if that was the only reason we were putting her down. I always have my phone on speaker and other people witnessed what you said. I never said I didn't want to euthanize her I did the surgery to try and help her but it has indeed only prolonged her suffering. You don't need my wifes number( she has laryngitis so she can't speak anyway) as it's me you have on file and my son witnessed this whole conversation tonight as I have said it was on speaker as I always have it and he was not pleased with how the conversation went. He also knows I have called since the sept 17. Please do not make lies to make her look like she is lieing in her review because everything she stated is correct she just put parents instead of grandfather as our grandparents have all passed we are on the same page of wanting her euthanize as she is suffering and in turn hurting us. We love her and only want what's best for her. There is no huge disconnect like you stated on her review to try and clear your name. You also hung up on me.

Dr. Lee was wonderful. He took the time to explain everything he was doing during mu dog and cats examination. He worked within my budget for both my pets annual exam and have me a budget conscious option for my dogs heartworm and flea/tick protection. I am very pleased with this clinic.

Sorry I need to add my review here just because I have read how ridiculous some of the other negative reviews are which are not even justified. I have been a client for several years now with Dr Lee for two of my dogs. Both dogs see him at least twice a year for annual checkup and heartworm checkup. Recently one of my dogs has been seeing him more frequent due to health concerns from old age. Dr Lee is always very thorough and really takes his time to answer all my questions and concerns. He is up-to-date with his medicine treatment options and always has his staff call, or sometimes even call personally to see how my dogs are doing when my dogs see him for other health concerns. There are many vets around, but after been through so many health concerns with either of my dogs and seeing Dr Lee, I am confident that I am getting the best possible advice, care and treatment. In terms of the negative review about how this vet is only about making money. Let's be realistic and honest here. All vets need to make money, it is a business. If you don't make money, you close down. But is it fair to claim that Dr Lee is all about making money? I completely disagree with that. Dr Lee knows his clients personally and based on your finance capabilities, he suggests which treatments are recommended based on your budget. Ultimately you are the one making the decision on what treatments to receive. For required medications he tries to suggest the best available treatment while also trying his best to help you save money in the long term. Dr Lee is passionate about his role and he truly cares about my dog's health. He expresses compassion when things are tough and I am very happy that he is providing care for both of my dogs. Thank you Dr Lee and vet staff for providing my vet needs for my two dogs.

Wonderful clinic. Dr.Lee is kind and compassionate towards my little Aaden and that's good enough for me. This is my first pet, and I am probably overly anxious and ask a lot of questions, Dr.Lee was incredibly patient and answered all my questions, giving me honest feedback on pet insurance etc. My kitten is in the safest of hands. Don't listen to the negative reviews, my first impression of Dr. Lee was great. He was knowledgeable, gave me choices and was genuinely compassionate with Mr.Cat & Little Dog. Since I've been buying my cat food at the clinic, Mr. Cat hasn't been sick. Thanks Dr. Lee, we'll see you soon!

Dr. Lee is so knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all your questions. In the event of an emergency or even a regular check up... this the is vet that you want taking care of your animal. There might be some places that is a bit cheaper but it does not compare when you think of the level of care your animal will receive.

Horrible experience Brought my sick cat in there as their online reviews looked pretty good. Saw dr.lee(not sure if that was his name but he looked Chinese. Said he could not tell me anything unless I agreed to do a bunch of expensive tests. Said he could not even be sure that he would have an answer after tests anyway. Not sure what kind of "doctor" this is when he lacks so much knowledge. Due to the lack of help i received the cat died anyway. Will look for another vet now.

Dr.Frank Lee is not trustworthy or genuine. He is looking to make sales by recommending unnecessary treatments for problems that don’t exist. (This has been confirmed by going to get second opinions on multiple “issues”) He takes advantage and is not looking out for the animal’s best interest.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Have to euthanize my sweet girl. Went for appointment and would not let us be with her. Then on the authorization firm option for cremation, take remains or hold remains for our decision I chose hold remains and they say that's only for people cremating with them????? Virtually saying that I have to arry my 60lb dog home dead!!!! Dr. Lee is a disgrace to all vets. I beg you, if you love your animal DONT GO HERE

I am shocked and revolted at how uncompassionate the veterinarians at this clinic are. I had to watch my rat die while induring what seemed to be exquisite pain. The vet asked me to pay $80 for an examination of what was clearly an animal in extreme pain on top of another $110. $190 plus tax in total. I wish I had the money to pay for the service unfortunately on a min wage salary I can not afford over $200. The vet clinic did not offer any sort of payment plan or show any sign sympathy. All in all a very cold experience for me leaving me traumatized in guilt over my poor pet rat. I will never be back and hopefully people will realize what a terrible clinic they are.

Dr Frank Lee is an amazing veterinarian! We’ve had different vets over the years when we lived in different areas and he’s by far the best. The care we received for our COVID puppy has been great! Brampton Vet Hospital has followed strict COVID safety measures and even though we haven’t met Dr Lee in person his attention to all our puppy needs has been incredible. Our little girl has had quite a few health problems and every step of the way he’s taken the time to explain things to us and always asks if we have any more questions. We also appreciate that he tries the least invasive plan first and has been so reassuring that some of her health issue like a knee cap that kept popping out didn’t need treatment at the time and was something she would probably grow out of (which she did). Even when it comes to medications he’ll inform us on all the options saying that the expensive one isn’t better it’s just different then the antibiotic she was on before. I really appreciate too that whenever we’ve called for an appointment the staff have got us in quickly. I would highly recommend Dr Lee!

Dr. Lee has been taking care of my pets for several years. Through routine visits to serious health issues, I am thankful for Dr. Lee’s skill and compassion. My chocolate lab, Finnegan, has had a number of health issues. Dr. Lee was exceptional when Finnegan had a spinal cord injury. Finnegan had been misdiagnosed at the emergency clinic. Dr. Lee very quickly correctly identified that there was a spinal cord injury and went above and beyond to get us in to see a veterinary neurologist as soon as possible. Finnegan has recovered beautifully from that episode but as an older dog does have some ongoing health concerns. Dr. Lee always very patiently explains his diagnosis and clearly outlines treatment options. He is truly concerned about Finnegan’s welfare but also wants me to be comfortable with the course of treatment. He is generous with his time when answering questions and respects my choices. I am grateful to have Dr. Lee as partner in the care of my pets.

I paid $900 to have my dogs stiched up from an accident. Along with rabis shot. They clipped my dogs nails too short to the point where it bled on two toes. Then it looked like a poor stich job from an apprentise. One week later the stiches were removed only to be told that it didnt heal and they had to remove that flap of skin and he would need new stiches. Of course at an additional price. Crooks!
