Our family members are long-term customers (since the 1980s). With the guidance of Bramalea Animal Hospital front desk, techs and veterinarians, we have kept our beloved pets into senior years (standard poodle- 17, cat 21, cat 18, cat 19, cat 16, westie 13 and two youngsters we have on the go now. ALL of the front desk staff are friendly, caring, accommodating unless it is impossible, and diligent workers. We find that they bend over backwards to ensure the health of our pets and are knowledgeable. The vet techs and veterinarians are the same. Bramalea Animal Hospital staff work together as a team and we have entrusted our four-legged family members to their care for decades and continue to do so.

Our dog was hit by a car and this was the closest vet. The BAH was very busy, but they took the time to check out our pup. Several clients who came in while we waited told us how wonderful and trustworthy the staff are and we found this out for ourselves. We are switching vets.

Over priced services that you have no choice to do. In my case had no answers after spending a ton of coin. and sent to a 2nd place that cleaned out my wallet before we had to put my dog down. $4300 in less than 24hrs to have my dog put down. Found a new vet for my new puppies . Very happy with him

The vets are actually really great here so it bothers me to have to give them one star just for the disgusting attitudes of the clerical/support staff. The only person that I ever spoke to that was decent and knew how to speak to people was Kelly the office manager, and the attitude problem that answered the phone sure as hell made it difficult for me to reach her. The problem is people come to these places because their pets are sick or just need a check up, and dealing with the front desk people takes patience. They are rude, condescending and just plain ignorant. It isn’t worth my frustration and if they can’t treat me with respect as a customer, I’m not trusting them to respect my fur baby behind closed doors. Thank you Kelly for listening to me and actually hearing what I had to say. I won’t be coming back here.

I came here for a second opinion for my sick cat. The vet thoroughly explained to me what the diagnosis is and that it was not at all what the other vet said (other vet's diagnosis would have cost me at least $100 a month in medications). After only a few days on new medication, I can see that my kitty is starting to heal and feel better! I think I have found my new permanent veterinarian!!

BEST Veterinary office in the GTA hands down! My boyfriend and I have a 4.5 year old King/German Shepherd and we have been taking him here since he was 8 weeks old. I have NEVER had any issues with this office regarding any employee, technician or Dr. Everyone here is extremely passionate about their jobs within this facility and genuinely cares for your family member as if it is their own. I've scrolled through and read some reviews that employees like Christine are uncaring - this is a blatant lie left by an already disgruntled unhappy human. For those complaining about the price, Bramalea is VERY fair with their pricing and if you actually did your research you will find which locations truly charge you an arm and a leg. Having an animal is NOT cheap and those of you complaining clearly did not take that into consideration before making that commitment. I trust this location with my baby boy and they have ALWAYS done their best with treatments and even something as small as a nail trim. GO TEAM!

My mother and I came in for our dog's 9:00 am appointment today to see the vet Dr. Othmar 'Oats' Telep. We came in 10 minutes early and found out from the lone receptionist Christine that the doctor was running late stuck in traffic coming from Etobicoke. The roads are usually very light on traffic on Saturday mornings, so we found this a bit odd. Regardless, we accepted what was relayed to us by Christine. Christine sounded like she was in a rush for some reason, despite there being only one other customer waiting. My mother has to work today in Toronto at 10:00 am, so she was worried if she would be late to work depending on how far away the doctor was. My mother asked Christine (receptionist) if she could call the doctor and see how far away he was. Christine refused to accommodate this simple request that would have taken her literally one minute of her time, and just repeated that the doctor just called her. My mother again informed the Christine that she had to get to Toronto by 10:00 am and feared she would be late. Christine in an uncaring and sarcastic attitude told her "well if you want your dog to see the doctor, you'll just have to wait". Gee, Christine, that is the whole point of us coming 10 minutes early for our dog to see the doctor, isn't it? When someone comes to the vet, isn't it clear they want their pet to see the doctor? At this point we didn't say anything to stir up an argument with a single customer waiting. What kind of response is this? We found Christine to have exhibited extremely poor customer service. Not one time did she say sorry, not one time was she accommodating or even trying to accommodate a simple request that would have taken her one minute of her time, and not one time did Christine ask us whether or not we wanted to reschedule our appointment. Even as we decided to leave because of Christine’s poor attitude, she didn’t try to rectify the issue. Christine was not able to handle her job as a receptionist; she was already stressed out with two waiting customers. We will take our business elsewhere. Such a simple preventable attitude cost your employer easy money. Christine please go back and take some more customer service courses, you clearly need it.

I am very unhappy with the service I received here in regard to my pet. Spent over 500$ to fix a misdiagnosed issue with my pet. After multiple visits, unnecessary medication, discomfort and alot of money spent we just ended up being sent elsewhere because the doctor "didnt know what it was." When upon just simply calling another clinic and describing symptoms, they were able to accurately diagnose my pets illness and were then able to treat it correctly. Very unprofessional and unsatisfied with his treatment.

Receptionist made it clear she was not a fan of cats. After I took my last cat there and my cat ended up worse after surgery and I had to have him put down after spendin 2 grand. I I used to be satisfied with the original Dr but since he was ill it hasn't been the same. I had taken my cat for a recurring ear infection and after several visits and $$$$ they finally said it could be a food allergy.. After I switched food he never had an ear infection again. I have left that clinic for good.

Good reviews for service is one thing, but in a time where things are tuff and people require help for dogs it is a shame to see that this clinic will only accept credit card payments. Not everyone has a credit card and a dogs life and medical attention should not depend on how we pay for it. It is a absoulte shame that the only form of payment is credit card !!!! No Dogs life should be restricted by how we pay!!! All these clincs should be ashamed of themselves !!!!

Beware of unnecessary tests and inflated prices. I was told by a vet here "if it was covered by OHIP you'd do it" when he told me he needed to xray my cat for some strange very intermittent light cough my cat was experiencing a while back. Ended up giving her a pill which basically cleared her right up. Also recommended a $3500 MRI a few years after that before starting with a basic blood test when my cat came in with vertigo once. That also cleared up all by itself within a week. I think we gotta recommend cheap things first and maybe expensive things followup visit. Totally willing to spend but you need to build the trust that you're not gouging me FIRST. On that note, everytime I brought a cat in, the cat did improve. So there's that. Also, one of my cats was on her death bed and these folks were too overbooked to see her. Said there was only a chance like 5 days later. I had to find a new vet (who unfortunately did have to put my cat down later that day) who I'm still with today. Hopefully they won't be overbooked in your pet's time of need.

Sadly I can't give 0 stars. Brought my very well behaved cat into them for a simple nail clipping. For what I thought would be less traumatic than my doing it with my injured hands at the time. Due to Covid I couldn't go in with him. Sadly the butchered the job, my cats nails where bleeding, and split. Their attitude when called in to advise what happened was incredibly rude and uncaring. Still trying to get my cat to accept me handling his paws and not freak out. I can't imagine what they did to him to traumatize him to this extent. They shouldn't be allowed to handle animals!

All the staff is amazing! They love and have been taking excellent care of our sweet Jack Russell named Luna since she was 9 weeks old (she is now 12 years old). Luna's ears always perk us when we say, "Let's go to the doctor." She is always showered with love and attention by all the staff and she especially loves "Dr. Oat's" treats. I highly recommend the Bramalea Animal Hospital. They truly love animals and have always gone above and beyond for our little sunshine Luna.
