I love the staff at the Animal Care Clinic, not only did they do everything in their power to help my dog in need they were extremely accommodating on every single thing I needed. I truly felt that my pups needs were put first over everything, they didn’t push me on making any drastic decisions, they were open and honest with me about everything yet they were still very sensitive to the facts of the matter. These people truly want the best for your animal! I recommend every pet should come and experience the lovely staff here at The Animal Care Clinic! 10/5 stars!!!

Love it here. My dad, before passed, use to take our cats/pets here all the time. Now I take my baby Neeka here and they treat her so good like she is their own. Yes she hates going to the vet, then again, I don't even like going to the doctor myself... but everytime we leave, she's a happy camper. I wouldn't take my pet anywhere else unless I need a 24-7 emergency but here is #1 for us. Thank you!! ❤️

I'm absolutely blown away by the care and professionalism I saw today at the Animal Care Clinic. The staff at the clinic were so good to our dog, Dolce. Upon our check-in, I advised the staff that Dolce usually gets very nervous going to the Doctor's - extra care was taken today to help him feel more comfortable. We interacted with Dr. Jessica Peatling and her staff - who were all very knowledgeable, professional and caring. As a dog-mum, there is nothing more that I could have asked for from our vet. The clinic took every measure possible to ensure hygiene, public and pet safety during this tumultuous time (due to COVID). The consultation was done over the phone, and Dr. Jessica and her staff picked up and returned Dolce from the parking lot outside the clinic. Excellent clinic and seamless experience overall - the only folks I will ever trust my dog-son Dolce with!

To say I was impressed with this vet clinic would be an understatement. A friend reccomended this place so we decided to give it a try. From the moment my chihuahua Mindi and I walked in the door to the time we left, I was very pleased. The facility is spotless and all the staff were absolutely amazing. Dr. Joy was so knowledgeable and kind. The pricing is a bit more than I was paying at my other vet but as others have said I’ll pay more for the excellent level of service. You can tell everyone loves animals. Thank you very much for everything and I look forward to bringing my other dog Charlie in next month! Keep up the great work and I’ll defintely recommend your clinic to family and friends.

This was our dog's 2nd annual visit. The 1st visit about a year ago, I THOUGHT was great, Dr. Peatling was very pleasant and great with Riley. However, she somehow managed to convince me to unnecessarily spend nearly $300 for heartworm testing and tablets! Being a first time dog owner, I fell for it...I guess my fault for not doing my research ahead of time. A year after, brought Riley in for his 2nd annual checkup, this time we got Dr. Graf. Due to covid, I didn't get to speak face to face but only on phone. Trying to give her benefit of the doubt, maybe it was because it was on the phone but boy did she sound condescending - really pushed for extra services you don't ask for but make you feel you NEED it if you really care for your pet. Ended up paying $225 PLUS!, I then found out after the fact that I still needed to bring Riley back for his 2nd lepto booster which would cost me another $150 ($35 for the shot and another $115 for a so called minor exam)!!! this was not explained in advance! So I called around and spoke to 3 vets, all who quoted around $100 for this 2nd shot. Also, all quoted around $150.00 for the same service (annual exam + 3 shots). I called Animal Care back to try and give them a chance to extend a more reasonable rate but the best they could do was $118. I cancelled the appointment and will be taking Riley to another awesome VET I found elsewhere. I do have to say the assistants and receptionists were all very polite, nice and helpful. But I find this clinic is only trying to boost up your vet bills unnecessarily by guilt tripping and making you think you need this and that if you really care about your pet --- that' not nice. Sorry to give such a negative review but I feel so ripped off not once but twice!

The business was recommended by a family friend who works in the industry and is familiar with competition in the GTA. We have a French Bulldog who has been a happy customer since March 2018, again, Thank you. Our Veterinarians Dr. Jessica Peatling and Dr. Sue Weninger have taken exceptional care in each case, owners receive email visit summarys as well as aftercare details, personal calls to discuss Stella's status, and they genuinely care about your pet, and the owners ability to make an informed decision. Jessica and Sue never made us feel like we were jumping the gun, or conversely, not doing enough, they simply appreciate your situation and assist owners in making a decision you are comfortable with. The support staff are also a pleasure to interact with, both Princess and Meghan were instrumental in relaying messages, providing reminders, and generally assisting us as owners. About a year ago, my cat was experiencing pain and they were able to quickly determine the cause and recommended a number of solutions that made sense but were also cost effective. Now we got a puppy and they gave us a whole package that contained a lot of useful information and helpful tips, plus recommendations for training and such. They also trim nails complimentary when you go there, and are good at showing you the costs and best treatments that make sense for you. Honestly, probably the best vets I have visited for my pets. I 1000% recommend them.

Dr. Peatling and the team at Animal Care Clinic are amazing! I brought my very anxious pup in because she had a raging infection in her mouth. Both the Tech and Vet took the time to calm her and gain her trust...more than any previous vet. My dog was even taking treats from them by the time we were done! I’ve never seen her do that from anyone else. I had no misgivings about leaving her for her required surgery, and was kept up to date at all times. I couldn’t recommend this vet more! I am so grateful to have found someone I can trust completely with my furry family members!

This was our first time at this clinic and the service was great.We had unfortunately say goodbye to our family dog cyrus. The vet was so caring and we were able to go as a family.The have an outdoor private place where we held him and said our goodbyes .It was the most difficult decision but she assured us it's better this way. I left 2 messages (one directly to the receptionist and the other on the machine) in the same week hoping to get additional pain killers for my senior dog. Never heard back. Completely disappointed and anxious, as all I wanted was to ease my boy's pain. Thankfully I was able to get the medications from another clinic -- still no call back from this one.

Called to book an appointment and the receptionist was very friendly and nice. Offered me an apt for this morning. When i got there the receptionist were both so kind and welcoming. The office was open and clean and my old Frank was very comfortable. The vet was very friendly and real. There was no pressure and and she was gentle with my old 13 year old. And wasnt i pleased to find out that they offer grooming too?! There is another vet office close to my house but after reading the reviews one of the main reasons i chose to call Animal Care Clinic was because i thought the fact that the owner took the time to respond to the reviews showed that they werent in it just for the money but they actually care! ❤

If you love your pet and want your pet to have the best care (from the the time you make the appointment till the time you leave your appointment) you have to go to Animal Care Clinic. Our dog is treated and loved here more than I have ever felt at my own human doctor. They really understand your concerns and won’t make you check more or spend more just because. You get taught how to prevent problems so you won’t need to come in. That shows how much they care about your pet and not the dollar. My Deebo loves it here (could be all the yummy liver treats he gets!!)

I went with a friend to put her dog down It was a very emotional time for us especially for her. The vet came in explained everything and told us to cuddle her hug her whatever we wanted to do so Harlow wasn't alone. She sat with us for a few minutes and then went and got the needles. As she gave the needles she told us we could hug her and we did. Harlow was not suffering anymore as she passed so peacefully. We got to stay with her until we were ready to leave. At the front desk they had a candle lit with a card asking clients to please be quiet as someone was losing their pet. THANK YOU for that special touch! We miss you Nanny Dog xo

I use to take my dog to them as well as my cat over 2 years ago. My cat got really sick one day, they use scare tactics to extort money out of us. Unfortunately at the time, my husband was just laid off and I was the sole income. I told them I had no money. Told me they would charge $300 a night plus a bunch of other fees and my cat had to stay in the clinic for two weeks and they couldn't guarantee that she would survive. When I told them we couldn't afford it and really didn't want her to suffer and it would be more humane to put her to sleep. They finally gave us another option which only end up costing $36 instead, when they finally realize we really weren't going to budge after explaining several times we just couldn't afford to. They gave fluids to dispense at home. She had a cat cold, mucous coming from her nose, couldn't breath or eat and was dehydrated. They referred dog training service to us as well. That was a rip off, never end up helping my dog. He end up attacking me and had to be put down all due to bark buster which was the company referred. $600 down the drain and an arm in a cast for 3 months which translates to 3 months lost in wages. They use a scare tactics for your pet to train your pet which only made him more aggressive. Came once for training, never followed up or return. Worst training service out there. Beware! What kind of vet refer this scam of a company. I am lucky to be alive. Took me a couple years before we finally got another dog. We found a new vet and couldn't be happier with the new vet. Don't charge you and arm and leg and actually does what is best for your pet. They are passionate about what they do. We now go to lacoste animal clinic.

I used to bring my 12 year old female Rottweiler here but I haven't been able to bring her to this specific clinic. However the receptionist with a rude tone told me she hasn't been there since 2009. I told her I brought her other places meaning emergency clinics. So they denied my sick dog an appointment after. I didn't think I needed to explain my past financial situation. They blatantly told me over the phone today. "Well you're going to have to take her somewhere else." I guess they weren't booked up before I said that she went elsewhere. So that's what I am going to do, bring her somewhere else.

DEAR CLIENTS AND DR JOY COUREY ( i hope you see this !!!) 1 star because unfortunately cant give lower ! NEVER been so ashamed to take my animals to this vet.. i have taken them here for 3 years. I took them not only ONCE but TWICE !!!! in knowing it was an ear infection, but nope the first visit: i got told my dog was being a baby, the second visit: had dr courey as always but this time my dog wasn't a baby this time apparently she thinks i hit my dog in the head with a baseball bat !!!! SO not only will you be accused of animal abuse, she is also very greedy for money and doesn't care about your pets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So after wanting to jump the table, i said i would never step foot in that horrible office again . So i decided to get a REAL vets an educated opinion ... would you guess what i was right from day one my dog had an ear infection !!!!!! I also brought up what dr. Joy Courey had stated that i beat my dog with a baseball bat for the REAL vet to laugh and say that is not possibly as they could tell my dog sticks to my hip and sleeps with me!!! YOU ARE VERY UNFIT TO BE A VET !!!! HOW DARE YOU GET AN EAR INFECTION WRONG AND ACCUSE SOMEONE OF ABUSING THEIR BABY !!!!!

Animal care clinic is a great environment for your pets. They made my puppy feel at ease for her first shots, examinations and grooming. However I did find they were on the expensive side. I am a student so unfortunately I will have to take my pup somewhere else from now on. I also found that they did speak to me like a child when explaining things to me. However if you don’t mind the paying the extra bit for a great vet, then I would definitely recommend!

I have been going to Animal Care Clinic since 1998. Dr. Joy Courey treated our beloved Siberian Husky, Coco, for years. Unfortunately, we had to put Coco down six years ago. Dr. Courey and the staff treated both Coco's remains and us with the utmost respect. Two months later we adopted Chloe our Pomerian/American Eskimo mix. Chloe just loves Dr. Courey annd the staff at Animal Care. I lost my husband last July and Chloe has become the centre of my life as I have no family here. I found a lump on Chloe's tummy and Dr. Courey removed it and I could tell that Dr. Courey knew how important the outcome would be. As soon as the results were available Dr. Courey called me with the GOOD news. The vets and staff treat our pets with the utmost care and concern. I have referred Animal Care Clinic to many people and they are as pleased as I am. Good work Animal Care we need more people around like you.

Really helpful clinic, all staff and veterinarians are attentive and knowledgeable. They all try to do their best to help you, wait times are minimal with an appropriate appointment, pricing is pretty standard for animal health care if you don't have pet insurance. Overall I had a great experience with bringing my cat here. We didn't find anything wrong with him health-wise (my issue is that my cat is peeing outside his litter box) so the vet suggested a bunch of things I could do at home to figure out the behavioural issue in order to fix the problem. Would definitely recommend this clinic for your pets.

We switched my 8 year old dog to this vet a few months ago after moving to Brampton. They seemed to treat my dog very well. He wasn't upset or resistant at all when they brought him back to the car. The vet took her time to explain all of the medication and treatment options before she prescribed treatment. I appreciated not being rushed.

discuss costs and services prior to rendering services. You'll end up with extra charges on your bill. Will not be bring my puppy back here. We also had our dog neutered and never received a follow call to discuss our concerns. Very disappointed that they would take advantage of people during a pandemic. After speaking with other vets, they advised that the vaccines he had were good for a year. However, this clinic made us redo the vaccines after one missed appt. and 3 mths didn't even pass yet. New pet owners please do your research and get different estimates so that you don't end up being taken advantage of by people like this.

We have two small dogs, both Shih Tzu crosses and we take both to Dr Joy Courey, the other vets and the team at Animal Care Clinic. Both of these guys were rescued; both came to us with little personality quirks not always endearing to new people. Dr Courey and the team have been so gentle and yet so thorough with both of them over the years, I honestly could not conceive of taking them anywhere else. The clinic is spotlessly clean and very well organized. The waiting area is spacious enough that I never need to be seated too close to another dog or cat (or rabbit or....) and in any case we are never waiting more than a few minutes. Our guys have seen Dr Courey, Dr Weninger, and Dr Peitling. All are pretty wonderful, but I'm convinced our Leo has a little crush on Dr Joy. He's a little anxious about many things but he always brightens up--and relaxes--when he sees her. She's good with humans toon I've never left there confused about treatment plans; she explains everything in terms we can understand and offers options whenever possible. As, well, she emails her notes to us within a few hours of our visit which I find very useful. The boys are getting older now. I will continue to take them to Dr Courey for as long as they are with us. I trust her with their lives.

Animal Care Clinic is certainly well named. The wonderful staff at this clinic have cared for our 4 legged family members since we arrived in Brampton July 1988. We have established a wonderful relationship with the staff and it just wouldn't occur to us to take or trust our family pets to anyone else. Even the straggly strays I took in got treated with dignity and love.

Vets/techs are like family; you can see how they care for your pet by how thorough they are. They routinely call me to discuss results and spend whatever time needed to make sure I understand all the information
