Then in the morning, comes the operation which went very well. After the operation, my dog was returned to his cubicle WITHOUT CLEANING IT. So for hours, he would lie down in his urine and stool. Around 3 p.m., I was asked to pick up my dog for his return home. In the car, I noticed a strong smell of urine and stools. I also see brown paw marks on the car seats. When I get home, I realize that his paws are full of stools, so is his coat. But the worst part was that his wound and his points of support were full of excrement and urine. I don't know if you know it, but it's really not great at preventing infections. Not to mention the immoral aspect of leaving an animal in its excrement. In short, think twice before having your pet kept there. (Original) Jusqu'à la semaine passée, j'ai toujours reçu un très bon service. J'ai donc choisi cet endroit pour faire stériliser mon chien. On m'a demandé d'amener mon chien la veille afin qu'il se familiarise avec l'environnement et diminuer son stress pour l'opération. Jusqu'ici je n'avais aucun problème avec ça. Le problème fût après l'opération... La veille, mon chien était très stressé et a fait ses besoins dans le cubicule qui lui était attitré (ce qui est normal considérant la situation). Puis le matin, vient l'opération qui a très bien été. Après l'opération, mon chien fut remis dans son cubicule SANS QUE CELUI-CI SOIT NETTOYÉ. Donc pendant des heures, il se couchait dans son urine et ses selles. Vers 15h, on me demande de venir chercher mon chien pour son retour à la maison. Dans l'auto, je constaste une forte odeur d'urine et de selles. Je vois également des traces de pattes brunes sur les sièges d'auto. Une fois à la maison, je me rends compte que ses pattes sont pleines de selles, son pelage également. Mais le pire est que sa plaie et ses points de souture étaient plein d'excréments et d'urine. Je ne sais pas si vous le savez, mais ce n'est vraiment pas génial pour prévenir les infections. Sans compter l'aspect immoral de laisser un animal dans ses excréments. Bref, pensez-y a 2 fois avant de faire garder votre animal là-bas.

The vet strongly suggests that I take a sample and analyze it to make sure it is not cancerous. Ah ok, if that can be it, better not to take the risk. No possibility to do this after the sample has left. First disappointment; hard to believe that one cannot contact the lab to say that the sample "xyz" does not have to be analyzed ... impossible I am told. Second disappointment; the vet could have done a little more exhaustive examination to realize that it was only a cyst or pimple and thus, avoid unnecessary expense. (Original) J’allais à cette clinique depuis presque 4 ans pour mon chien. Ça allait bien jusqu’à hier, samedi. Je suis allé faire vérifier une petite excroissance qui avait poussée. La vétérinaire me suggère fortement un prélèvement et analyse pour s’assurer que ce ne soit pas cancéreux. Ah ok, si ça peut être ça, mieux vaut ne pas prendre de risque. Plus tard dans la journée, peut-être suite à la ponction pratiquée pour l’échantillonnage, j’ai vu une tête blanche. En appuyant un peu, du pu en est sorti… ce n’était qu’un bouton ou un kyste!! J’ai rappelé dimanche matin pour demander si on pouvait ne pas faire analyser l’échantillon puisqu’il ne s’agissait clairement pas d’un cancer. Aussi, demander un remboursement au moins en partie du montant de plus de 260$. Aucune possibilité de le faire une fois l’échantillon parti. Première déception; difficile de croire qu’on ne peut communiquer avec le labo pour dire que l’échantillon “xyz “ n’a pas à être analysé… impossible me dit-on. Deuxième déception; la vétérinaire aurait pu faire un examen un peu plus exhaustif pour se rendre compte que ce n’était qu’un kyste ou bouton et ainsi, éviter une dépense inutile.
