Professional, knowledgeable staff. The veterinary care is the best - Rossmore has taken care of our pets for nearly 20 years (somewhere around there). They've cared for our cats, dogs, and yes - even gerbils over the years. They have always been professional, compassionate, and understanding. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

I was in the Military for 21 years, posted several places and had several Veterinarians. Got posted to Trenton in 1989, and tried a few of the local Vets (no Comment) somehow we found Rossmore! This was in the days before the internet. We consider ourselves blessed to have such a fantastic Vet! Best Veterinarians we’ve EVER had, I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else! Bit of a drive for us but well worth it! We love Rossmore Animal Hospital.

If I could possibly give more than 5 stars I would! We have been going to Rossmore hospital for more than 20 years, and I just can't imagine taking my pets to anyone else. All of the staff has always been so caring and concerned about my animals, they love going there! And, I cannot say enough good things about Mark and Jeff and the care and concern they give my pets. Honestly, I don't know what I'll do if they ever retire! Their fees are more than fair, and much lower than any other vet around. And, they are always there for me - from calling after hours on occasion to check up on a pet, to their compassion when a pet is lost. They are the best! To the reviewers who posted about the emergency clinic and their fees, you should know they are NOT affiliated in any way with Rossmore, despite being in the same plaza. We have unfortunately had to use them, and yes their fees are quite high. However, in an emergency at midnight with your pet, there are few options. Don't confuse the two - they are entirely separate services and businesses.

I have taken both of my dogs as well as my cats to Rossmore Animal Hospital for almost 15 years until I recently moved. They were professional, courteous, helpful, sympathetic and quite reasonably priced. I even received a sympathy card when my cat passed away. Truthfully I wish I had decided to just commute the 2 hours to keep them as our Vet as I find several clinics in our new city tend to be run more as a business and are quite pricey.

We registered with this vet as our emergency vet a few years ago when they were taking clients. We took one of our dogs in a few weeks ago. When I registered they took my details down incorrectly so my name was wrong. They had my phone number and address correct though. I just called to make an appointment for end of life for my dog. When I gave the receptionist my number she said I wasn't a client. She was very rude about it. It's not my fault the person was unable to get the spelling of my name right when I registered! We now have to find another vet that will allow us in to spend the last few minutes of our beloved pet's life before they cross the rainbow bridge.

I'm not sure why people are saying this is the cheapest vet around when it is actually the most expensive. I called the other night to have my mothers cat put down as it was in horrible pain and covered in maggots. It was after hours. This vet told me it would be $169 for the exam and here it come $440 to euthenize!!!!! I was floored! I told them they were crazy over $500 to put the animal down! I then called bell animal hospital they were $60 for the after hour call he didn't charge me the full amount because the animal was in so much pain and literally being eaten alive so it had to be done then and then it was $70 for the euthenize a total of $146 to end this cats pain. That's less then the exam cost at rossmore. When I asked rossmore why they were so much higher then everyone her answer was its after hours so we can! But the vet down the road is less the 1/4 of the cost! Terrible terrible!
