One of the most expensive places in town. Not very great at remembering details about your pet. Example: if you tell them something like idk your cat didn't puke from the med they said likely would cause puking via email follow up, they'll respond by telling you how normal it was for you pet to puke on the med so don't worry in email response. Even though you just told them the opposite. This place is ok for emergencies and for pet guardians who knew nothing about healthcare and thus won't ask too many questions. They will do what they can to help and they are competent at treating your pets. Just wasn't somewhere where I felt like my pets care was decided as a team and seemed really like they were more annoyed by me taking an interest in my pets health rather than just thanking and complying as quickly as possible so I found a much better vet for my personality.

My experience with Dr Thompson and his staff was so wonderful that I HAD to leave a review. This was my first time at this clinic since moving to the area. My 10 year old pug got really sick and I noticed what looked like an infection in her gum. The following morning I called Foster Park and they were able to see her the same day. Dr Thompson took a look and she had several bad teeth that had to be pulled. We booked her in for her surgery a week and a half later. At the initial appointment, Dr Thompson brought me a printout with an itemized list of all the care/meds/proceedures my pug would require. He spoke to me about every item on the invoice and explained to me what each one was for. He explained to me that while there were 8 teeth that looked bad at a first glace, we could elect to take X rays the day of surgery to see if there were any teeth that looked nasty under the gum line. If there was any teeth that looked like they may become a problem in the future, we could pre-emptivley pull them to save on future expense and pain for my doggy. It would be my choice to do this if necessary. A few days before surgery, I got an email written by an actual human asking how my dog was doing and if she was in any pain. The day of the surgery was today and it turned out that she needed to have more teeth pulled than initially anticipated. Dr Thompson called me himself from surgery after he got his first look to let me know. I got a call within a half hour from one of the vet techs giving me the total number of teeth - 15! I gave them the go ahead. I got another call when my girl was out of surgery and was waking up. The vet assistant told me that my dog was doing better when someone was sitting with her, so they had someone spending time with her and giving her extra love. When I picked my girl up today, the doctor gave me the option of keeping her teeth and brought me to the back to show me the X rays and to go over everything - both post op care and everything that happened during surgery. There was no pressure for unnecessary proceedures, to buy food, or to book another appointment for shots. I honestly can not give the staff at this clinic enough praise. Everyone was super amazing I was really impressed the every step of the way. The staff genuinley seemed to care about my pug and how she was doing. They were awesome to my doggy, but they were especially amazing to me during a scary and anxiety inducing time. They put me at ease and made me feel good about the whole thing. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Took my dog here after I was unable to get her seasonal allergies under control at home. The vet spoke to me like I was an idiot and further ticked me off by insinuating that I was neglectful for not bringing my dog in sooner..... Not going back. However, the vet tech was super nice and friendly!

Over priced and expect to pay more than they quote you, had my dog scheduled for teeth cleaning , quoted $500, and on the day of surgery they would not do the procedure without blood work at new price of $800. After a heated conversation I Walked out and went to the Bellevillle animal Hospital for $450. NO B.S there. Will not go back.

I got a new pupoy as a rescue so it had some problems and not only were they the only ones willing to help me but they also did it as fast as they could and with as much convenience as I could have asked for! Everyone at Foster Park is AMAZING! Our dog Charlie needed a bunch of teeth removed, we were able to make a free consultation visit , and did surgery the following day. It's now day 5-6 after his surgery and he's doing amazing!!! We've gotten 2-3 follow up calls regarding Charlie from the vet which is really awesome!! These guys deserve more then 5 stars!

This place is horrible. I just took my kitten here for an xray for a possible break. They are trying to charge me $300 for it another vet clinic is charging $150 for it. If you really love your fur babies don't bring them here. They will over charge you. If I could I wouldn't even give this place 1 star.

Our pets have been going to Dr. Bennett since we moved to Belleville last year. Boy am I glad we found this wonderful vet. Our cat had a mouth infection and required all of his teeth extracted. Superb staff. Always always a pleasure to speak with over the phone and inside, no matter who is working. My babies dont like the vet, but the enviroment inside helps alot with keeping them calm and content. My one cats is an escape artist and always runs/hides/explores and they are always patient and gentle with her. Knowledgeable and always eager to help. They always have the best interest of the animals and put the animals needs first. Very understanding, had low funds a few times and they always tried to give us the best deals, reccomend the best within pricepoint etc.

Would give it 6 stars if possible. For the first time in my life I feel lucky to have found a place to take my pets to. My wife found a tick on one of our cats, we called them and booked us in same day. They were so good with our cat he didn't flinch once, I've never seen him respond so well. I couldn't recommend this place more, simply the best.

Let's start with Katlyn who is probably the most efficient / and at the same time concerned person I have met in the veterinary field. Next we touch on Dr. Patel, whos calm and understanding demeanor keeps the world of hurt, injured and sick animals under control. Our dog was assessed, x-rayed, weighed and prescribed proper medication in about 20 minutes - beginning to end. Simply outstanding. Even with COVID and all the restrictions it entails, this team was bright, cheerful and above all professional.

The vet was really nice, she mentioned medication “to make my cat comfortable”, I guess they forgot to noted that the flea medication might complicate my cat’s condition. So, today at around 7pm, October 19, 2020. 3 hours after leaving this vet. My cat died. I should have never taken my cat to the vet again. Spend money on medication I won’t be able to administer on my cat because he is gone.

Can be a little more costly than some other places, but 100% worth it. They pay attention to your animals (get right down and talk to them), and you can really tell they care. They give you lots of info, and do what they can to help with issues that may arise (like a badly torn paw pad out of no where). Everyone is always super friendly, even when they are super busy. And they dont push you to get their food, but they do inform you of options.

Although the staff was friendly they were also a bunch of scam artists. Our dog gets revolution and this place was charging more than anywhere else in town. The also neglected to mention that if you buy five months you get the sixth free. To sum it up between special diet food, revolution and surgeries they have over treated and over charged us to the tune of $2100. Beware of Belleville's con artists.

We started taking our dogs here about 6 months ago and we are very happy with the service we receive at Foster Park. They are very good with our dogs and treat them with compassion and professionalism. When booking an appointment they send a confirmation which can get placed into our Google Calendar, we get a reminder before the appointment and after the appointment we get a follow-up phone call from the vet. All the staff are very friendly, courteous and professional We would recommend the veterinarian hospital to anyone looking for a quality practice . I know Boomer loves them.

Hands down suggest foster park vet for anyone who needs to bring their furbabies in. They were the only vet to accept flick when he got hit by a car in such an emergency. Friendly staff and conveniently located! If I am being completely transparent, I will say that I find it on the pricy end of the scale. If budget is an issue, I would shop around for another facility. I do appreciate their email reminders though...it is very convenient for remembering things like tick and flea prevention. They offer grooming here with one groomer. She is very busy so book well in advance. They advertise as a "cat friendly practice" so that is great if you have cats. They also practice on rabbits and other small animals. Full service facility with diagnostics and imaging.

This is a slightly different type of review but one non the less. As a veterinary technologist I wanted to work at Foster Park. I sent in many resumes and finally I got the job. Never have I been happier and more proud to work in such a progressive and compassionate place with such a wonderful group of people. My love for all things animals were encouraged and patient care and customer communication was second nature to all. Its been a few years now since I've worked there as life has moved us to the west coast. I have yet to find a place that compares to Foster Park.

Based on my experience with the people who work here I wouldn't go anywhere else in Belleville. They were upfront and honest about everything, caring and compassionate to not only my cat but myself as well. They gave me a full list of things that could be done if I choose to but gave recommendations to only start with one bit of it . Any questions or concerns I had were answered right away and it never felt like I had any silly questions . If anyone has a pet and asked me where to go, I would say to this vetinary clinic .I am definitely bringing my next animal here .
