The first appointment was very enlightening. But because of several factors being raised I ended up leaving the clinic and some things were forgotten such as the microchip and the nails trim. But all the staff and the vet were super attentive! We had a good first experience!

We feel the Martensville veterinary team, Dr Stewart, technologists, receptionists and everyone else that works there are the most amazing, wonderful, kind hearted, compassionate people that you would want to be looking after your pet. They truly care about your pet as much as you do and gives such personal attention. Dr Stewart always makes sure your pet is comfortable while doing her examinations and explains everything very well. Dr Stewart is honest & upfront with everything that is needed to be done and all the costs with our pets. After the consultation, Dr Stewart stays and takes the time to answer our many questions and doesn’t make you feel you’re getting rushed out the door or make any rushed decisions. The team gives you time with your pet and family to discuss what course of treatment that needs to be done. Over the years that we have been coming to this team today we once again had to call upon their compassionate side. Our dog of 12 years had to be taken in on an emergency call and they took him in immediately and once again they took amazing care of our dog and made sure we were ok as well and that we understood everything that was discussed and our next step. After discussing all our options, quality of life after surgery from his injuries we all agreed in the best interest of him we should euthanize him believing this was the kindest thing we could do for him. Dr Stewart and staff were so compassionate and took paw prints for a plaque and are giving us hair samples of him and said they will check in on us in a couple of days. They gave us private time in a room before they took him to get in intravenous line in and then brought him back to us where we got to spend the last moments with him comforting he was welcomed back home to Rainbow Bridge. THANK YOU for always making our pets feel loved and cared for and walking us through all the processes, answer our many questions along with our emotions. I can’t recommend this place enough! They are pawesome

They give honest advice, don't beat around the bush, and are great for working with us to find an inexpensive prescription for my high-anxiety dog, whether that be scripting out to a human pharmacy or recommending various medications. I brought my 2 rabbits in for a checkup, one of which was free because I'd just adopted her from the SPCA. I was very happy with the service I received, first of all, they were great about booking me on a day that worked for me, especially because I live an hour away. They looked at both rabbits together, and were able to answer any questions I had. Definitely coming back if my rabbits ever get sick.

I have been driving out to Martensville from Saskatoon for the past 5 years for Dr. Stewart to treat my dog, and I believe it is well worth the drive. It's obvious that she cares a lot for her patients. After a procedure, my dog had some side effects I was not expecting. When I called the vet to inquire, they told me what to keep an eye on and called an additional 2 more times after our first phone call to make sure my dog was well. I'm grateful for all of the care we have received while attending this clinic!

I would like to add to the previous review I posted. I have removed the previous review but will outline it below. On December 31st we took our puppy back to the vet clinic due to ongoing skin issues. Skin issues are difficult to diagnose so we have been back and forth a few times now. After receiving a very thorough exam from Dr. Lange we were given multiple things to try however, one of the medications needed to be picked up from a pharmacy. The vet tech asked us which pharmacy we would like the prescription faxed to, we were not given an option to take a script to the pharmacy ourselves, nor was it disclosed we would be paying extra to have it faxed. We left the clinic and drove into Saskatoon and phoned the pharmacy to ensure the perscription was being filled. We were informed they had not received the fax but that they would phone us as soon as they did. After an hour with no word the pharmacy began trying to call the clinic and was transferred to the university small animal clinic because martensville vet closed early for New Years Eve. We had no way of reaching anyone at the clinic and no way to get our dog her medication. We live out of town which meant that it would be another trip back into the vet to get the script. We would like to thank Dr. Lange who, after seeing our post, drove into the clinic to fax the prescription and apologize. I want to emphasize that we have never had an appointment in which the vets working at this clinic disappointed us. The vets are wonderful and do an amazing job, and for Dr. Lange to drive in to fix this problem we are very thankful. This is the second time that the vet techs (not all we just don’t know who and I don’t want to sound like I am lumping them all together) have missed something with our prescriptions. The first time we paid for this special shampoo and we didn’t receive it and had to drive back in to get it and now this time where the prescription never got to the pharmacy. Again, thank you Dr. Lange we appreciate you and what you are doing to try and help us solve this skin mystery. To the staff at the clinic: we hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else that visits your clinic and that there are steps put in place to fix these issues. Your patrons should be informed of the extra charges so they can agree to them (the cost of a fax) or be given the option to take the script in themselves and we should not have to fight to get a prescription to the pharmacy after paying to have it sent there.

I had a truly amazing experience here the other day. I gave my dog a prescribed sedative prior to travelling to Alberta and became extremely panicked by her strong and immediate reaction to it. I called the clinic and they looked at her upon an emergency examination. Dr. Stewart was very thorough and went above and beyond in making sure my dog was alright. To top it off, she didn't even charge me for the emergency visit. I'm so thankful and extremely impressed by this vet team. They truly care for you and your pets! Thanks again!!

Awful experience which was disappointing because they came with such rave reviews. Brought our dog in vet appeared scared of him. Gave him a needle in his leg which Hurt him so he growled then he was muzzled to complete the check up. Then asked the very to check his ears as he his prone to ear infections. She lifted the ear said it's fine. 3 days later we're awake at 2 am because his ear Hurt so much with brown pus and discharge coming out. We wanted to give them another try and book on with the other vet at the clinic so we contact them to get him again and they won't return the call. Finally we called back several times and got a hold of them and they state they did check his ears completely and he will have to be sedated if we bring him in. We will be looking for another vet or driving back to the city we moved from to our vet who never had any issues dealing with our large dog.

Definitely worth the drive! I never thought I would drive from the south side of Saskatoon to see a vet in Martensville, but I do and it's worth every minute. Gentle with my dog, and willing to work with me to find out what works best for my girl!

I'm pretty neutral on this place. I wasn't told that I wouldn't be able to go in with my dog for her shots. I understand the covid restrictions but I wish someone had told me that over the phone before I drove from Saskatoon to your office. I also felt a lot of pressure to buy expensive dog food. I was told there would be information on how much I should be feeding my dog but there was only info about the new dog food that I should be giving her. I wish there was a vet experience that wasn't a big sales pitch. It was a $200 check up which seems insane to me.

I can't say enough about the dedicated caring staff at the Martinsville Vet Hospital. My kitten has had a chronic lung illness from birth and is not expected to be with us long term. Dr Lange has taken the time to help put my mind at ease, has been honest yet optimistic about his prognosis. She has educated me on expectations and how best to care for my unique situation. She has helped me learn about administering complicated medications, choosing an appropriate diet, grooming, socializing, and even how to stop unwanted behaviours (urination in laundry baskets!). When she examines him she is gentle and kind and is able to soothe his nervous nature. She clearly has a gift with kitties. She has gone above and beyond expectations and truly has my pet's best interest at heart.

I bring our dogs from Regina for their annual checkups and dental exams. It's a long way to come for a vet check but the friendly professionalism at MVH is something I value highly. Dr Stewart is always attentive about my concerns whether they're large or small. Our dogs are a bit anxious when we arrive in the waiting room but happy and relaxed as soon as they meet her in the exam room. Support staff are cheerful and quick with pre exam interviews and any necessary bloodwork In addition MVH maintains a very open and co-operative relationship with the vet's office in Regina (Animal Clinic Of Regina) that looks after us so well in emergencies and for food orders.

I give this clinic zero stars even though it shows 1 didnt have a choice but to click on one or i wouldnt be able to post my review. My poor puppy Hugo had horrible back pain and i couldnt even touch his back he wouldnt let me. They did xrays so told them to do a full body feel in his fur to make sure nothing was pinching him since he was sedated. So they charge me a 500 bill for nothing. They lied saying they did when i know they didnt. Following monday hugo let me touch his back because he was on pain killer s for 2 days. I felt a huge lump. Took him back of course the vet say s it wasnt there on saturday. Told her i m not impress i know its been there since saturday because he wasnt around any bushes because i was supervising him after the first visit. The bur s in his fur were so deep it was ripping his skin. If the vet would of felt him on saturday my poor puppy wouldnt be suffering with pain and have a very high fever because it was badly infected. They gave me all these expensive medications and when they finally faxed everything to my vet at home. OF COURSE he didnt need all of these pills. They thought they could charge me an arm and a leg for the second visit and i refused to pay for a vet that didnt do her job professionally and being truthful. This clinic need s new vets that know what they are doing and not being careless. They dont care about the health of the animal they care more about the money. SUCH HEARTLESS people i hope you find new vet s like my own that loves animals and will help them and not just thinking about the money.

My overall experience with this clinic is positive. The staff is really friendly and are always available to answer any questions. You can tell that the staff strive for the best animal care. In addition, the veterinarians are very informative and are well educated in various aspects of animal health/wellbeing; it seems that they are up to date on recent science publications. However, I found it annoying when I was constantly reminded of my puppy's spay. I started getting reminders for her spay since she was 4 months old even though it is not biologically appropriate to spay her that young. I want to get her spayed after her first heat and it seems that the vet clinic is not respectful of my decision. Lastly, I find that the communication is lacking to some extent. Sometimes, one staff says something different than the other staff which can be confusing.

I have been taking my pets to Martensville Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years, even when there were vet clinics that were much closer to my home. Their service in all aspects is outstanding. They are always friendly, informative, knowledgeable, efficient, and provide a high level of expertise and skill when treating animals. In addition, and very important, is that the staff give that extra special treatment to our pets and provide a friendly and comforting atmosphere for them (and us) during the visit.

We have 2 cats and 2 large dogs, the cats would not be alive today if it weren't for the wonderful staff here. On 2 separate occasions, one 3 years ago, one this month, each cat had a medical emergency that prompted me to rush them to the U of S, in each case tests at the U of S lead the staff there to believe they were okay and they were sent home. With the symptoms still of concern I took them to Martensville where Dr. Stewart and the amazing staff provided me with further options not presented to me at U of S leading to a diagnosis and emergency surgery (in one case) and emergent treatment not requiring surgery in the other saving both of them. Aside from our medical scares, Dr. Lange and Dr. Oranchuk are wonderful and keep both my senior pups in great shape, the staff as a whole are kind, courteous, well informed and take pride in their jobs - a great clinic for the care of your fur kids. Highly recommend!

We take all 4 of our animals to go see Dr. Stewart & we are very happy with her service. The girls at the front are very helpful, and don't hesitate to answer questions/concerns via phone or email if they can. It is hard to find a vet who is understanding of those who feed their dogs raw diet & she is willing to work with us, no problem. We have found other vets strictly advise against raw feeding, even though we know our dogs health, coat & teeth have been great ever since. They do not force their branded vet food down your throat - which is super cool. Our only complaint is that to receive a multi animal discount - you need to have 3 dogs. As we only have 2, we are not entitled to that - which is slightly disappointing because we give them a fair amount of business with our 4 fur balls. Other than that - we don't have any other complaints. Strongly recommend Dr. Katina Stewart.
