Had surgery done on my cat, which required having her mammaries removed. They only removed half of them, however, instead of both sides so she ended up needing a secondary surgery which I took her to the Battleford Animal hospital for, who have a very friendly environment and were very reasonable with their surgery pricing. So over all, Care? 4/5 Decent but has some improvements that could be expanded on. Prices? 2.5/5 This was tough, I understand they have a job to do but animals are a part of the family and some people cannot pay through the roof like that. Especially being in a bad situation like I was. Environment? 3/5 Everyone was friendly enough, very welcoming. When they stopped working with me for payments, however, I was very dissatisfied and disappointed as at that time it seemed like the money was more important than anything else(To clarify I entirely paid off the bill regardless of that misshap, I just never did business with them again).

Dr Berry could not have been more helpful and understanding in helping me know my options and helping make an informed decision. The day of surgery went well and the post op care included a follow up phone call just to make sure he was healing ok. My sadness at losing my beautiful Ginger yesterday is overshadowed by my anger at the ineptness displayed and the despicable lack of compassion shown by Lakeland Vet Clinic. Friday we spoke to the vet about the situation Ginger was in and he clearly said he would come after 7 to our house to put her out of her pain. We all said our goodbyes and sat with her as we waited...waited...waited....he never showed up and did not call. Moe sat with Ginger til 4 am listening to her struggle to breath and watching her suffer. I sat with her from 6 am til 9 waiting for the vet clinic to open. At 9 I phoned them to see if they could please come and help her die because it was terrible watching her. The vet couldn't talk to me then and the receptionist said he would call me back. HE NEVER DID. I can't just understand why they put us through that and made her suffer so much longer than necessary. SO unprofessional and indecent. We have been their clients for years but no more. They compounded an already terrible situation at a time when we needed them the most.

Called the emergency line for advice/help with some rescue pups I just picked up that needed vaccinations and a check up so they could be transported to the rescue which is in another province and had my head "bit off" for calling the emergency line for something he didn't consider and "emergency". Was very rude, a simple no or other suggestion would have sufficed.

Dr Haas is a consummate professional and truly has a love of animals. He works quickly, quietly and efficiently. Dr Haas has been our veterinarian for years and has taken care of our horses, cattle and dogs. He is knowledgeable in all of these areas and proficient, professional and efficient. He is also an EU Certified veterinary which we rely on for the export of our cattle and a wealth of knowledge for our herd health program. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

I don't even know where to start. We have always had wonderful experiences at Lakeland Veterinary. We have had two TPLO ACL surgeries on a Newfoundland here - with fantastic results. We have driven from Saskatoon twice for emergencies with our dogs and cats - both times the staff went above and beyond for us. We recently brought in 3 Newfoundlands for their OFA xrays and I really thought at least two of them would need sedation to get the xrays - but Shawn and his tech were amazing and the dogs stayed quiet and calm. Both our rescue dogs were taken here as pups and its one of the ones near our small town so we decided to continue to bring our fur babies here. Our pyrenees x pup doesn't do well with new people, especially ones wearing masks! The staff was very accommodating with him and he had a great check up. We moved to the Battleford area late last fall, and day one, we needed an emergency vet for an accident. We called Lakeland at 9pm, and were in the clinic 45 minutes later having our pup stitched up We've since taken all our animals to Lakeland, and the service from front desk to Drs. has been top notch. All our questions are fully answered, staff follow up post visit, and the bill is never too painful! We will continue to use Lakeland for all our pet and livestock veterinarian needs.

I can not recommend and thank this vet office enough. They are AMAZING. I am so appreciative that I can always trust Lakeland Vet to never over charge, I never have to second guess bringing my pets there, they truly have animals and their owners best interest at heart. They may not have the fanciest building or nicest parking lot as a previous review complained about, but that just goes to show how hard they try to keep costs down for their customers. We were moving from Alberta to Ontario and had an issue with our beagle that required attention while on the road. We called Lakeland when we were an hour away. They were able to fit us in and were very friendly. We only had a 25 minute stop overall, including his medication being ready. I just didn't have a good experience. The quote that I was giving ahead of time, was wrong by 50%. And on top of that there where upsells and other charges. By the time they were done it was double what they quoted me on the phone. They do business in the dirt parking lot out front, I guess they don't have enough room inside for distancing, but I really couldn't tell you. I'm sure the doctor is just I just don't like the way they do business so I will not be returning.

Very caring and compassionate. I had my dog spayed and my cat neutered (at different times of course). Both recovered very well. Actually when I took "little Ritchie" (my cat) in for his neuter the Dr noticed an abses on the side of his face from fighting another cat. He cleaned it up and phoned me before administering an antibiotic which would cost me a bit more than I paid. This made me feel valued as "little Ritchie's" human mom. He thought of what was best for Ritchie but also valued my input!!

Had to call on their services for an emergency euthanasia. The doctor on call seemed very cold and incompassionate at the time. They also gave incorrect information about the next stages with the remains. Very upset with the whole experience, but could have been because of my state at the time. They did later send a condolence card which was very much appreciated. Not sure if I would return.

Whenever I call Lakeland Veterinary service the receptionist is always very friendly and quick to offer advice if I'm not able to make it into the clinic. Great to just call in and ask any general questions that you may have about the health of your pet. On the occasions that I brought my pets into the clinic the doctors were always very helpful and put me at ease or let me know if something really needed to be done about my pet or their health. North Battleford is lucky to have such a caring Veterinary Clinic.

My horse had a terrible injury to his pastern bone , I called and the wonderful vets came straight away and diagnosed my horse with a possible infection in the large laceration in which he had a bout of antibiotics he wasn’t getting any better and was walking three legged, I called again and emediately they came with a portable X-ray machine and as we learned he had a fracture, not completely , it was a third of one, the next option was pain meds and anti inflammatory medication. He is coming along now. I wasn’t able to haul my horse and they came out very quickly both times. I am very grateful to our wonderful vets here. They do a fantastic job.
