Simcoe Veterinary Hospital is amazing. Dr. Mark Bolton has been looking after our pets for about 25 years, and Dr. Holly Spring is a wonderful addition to the team. The veterinarians and staff are all very knowledgeable, and not afraid to consult specialists as needed. In addition, I feel like a partner in my pets' healthcare. Our first visit to this vet with our puppy was great. The veterinarian and staff seemed friendly, easy to talk to and seemed great with our puppy (from what I could tell while under the COVID policies). However, on our most recent visit I had scheduled our pup in for a weigh-in for Spectra medication and had requested that her nails be trimmed on this appointment as well because they were long, the girl on the phone seemed pleasant and she said "no problem". When I brought the pup in for this appointment the employee told me that they did not have enough time to trim her nails, she seemed frazzled, was abrupt and didn't seem to do well with our high energy puppy. I was travelling to this vet from Oro-Medonte, so had I known that they were too busy for a nail trim I would have went elsewhere, proper time frame should have been allotted for what we had scheduled in.

What a wonderful experience on our first visit to Simcoe Vet Hospital. I needed to find a vet that treated cats like royalty that they are. This is the place. Dr. Hawkes and Alyson were 1st rate the whole visit, from the way they treated our fur kid like their own, the thoughtful careful explanations around everything and an over all sense of well being for humans and furry family members. We are all so happy to be in their capable hands.

I first went to this clinic for a second opinion for my pug Snorkie. Not only did I receive great advice, their price for the surgery was substantially less than our previous clinic for the same service. Dr Spring and the team at Simcoe Vet are very thorough, take the time to explain the condition as well as possible options, and only recommend tests that are necessary to provide the best care for my dogs. I won't take my dogs anywhere else, and my in-laws have also transferred theirs dogs care to Dr. Spring. Thanks guys!!
