Dr Patel was extremely caring and very thorough in his examiation of our cat. All tests were done, follow up was early the next day and a plan of action was made. Excellent experience!

We absolutely love the doctor and would recommend him because he is extremely knowledgeable and gentle. But unfortunately we have always had issues with the front desk workers and assistants, they are very uninformed and already made many mistakes with us, they also were very rude to us a couple of times and just not friendly or sympathetic, I keep wishing someone that was more knowledgeable and sweet would work at the clinic because that would make my rating go up to a 5 star

Great veterinary practice. Very professional and friendly staff, very reasonable pricing and not trying to upsell you. I have been bringing my dog here over the last year and a half since she was a puppy and they were really great about all her vaccinations. More recently she had an ear infection and Dr. Patel was very friendly and took the time to explain what was happening and how to properly treat her ear and clean it. The assistant was also kind enough to remember to follow up 2 weeks later and ask how her progress was. Would highly recommend!

Dr. P. is beyond kind. He helped us handle out female cat Memee after having a stroke. We also sadly had to put down our poor Podgy, both being 15 years old and very loved. Our dear Pug Sumo has had a stroke this week and Dr. P has been a fantastic help and just is so kind and loving. The staff are so kind caring and really have stood next to us and have supported us at painful times in our and Sumos life. This is by far the BEST EVER Vet clinic. Horrible experience when my cat was very ill less than 2 days recently and then died within a couple hours of being at the vet. Veterinarian was cold. After I came in, after no warning on phone after that had just spoken to them, my cat was just laying there eyes open and fixed. Then told to pay and pick an option for cremation. Savage. This was during the tornado. l drove through it to get there because I loved my beautiful best friend so much. My heart was broken. They told me my cat would be there 3-4 days before she’d even be picked for cremation. I was devastated. After knowing she’d died anxious and in pain was way too much. My daughter arranged for her to go to a wonderful place the next day near/in Orillia . The owner of the pet crematorium took such amazing care of kitty. When I came to pick up her urn she came out to meet me and express her condolences. I not only got the urn with kittys name, but paw prints, hair clippings in a couple of vials, a handwritten letter from the owner and condolences cards. She told me how she sat with kitty and pet her before everything. Lit a candle for her. She went above and beyond and for less than what vet was offering for just the cremation and simple urn. I got a certificate of cremation and know for certain the ashes are of my cat. If you want empathy and compassion for your loved fur baby, don’t go here!

Both of our cats have been here and the staff are wonderful. They are friendly, honest, fair with pricing and it’s obvious that their first priority is the health of your pet. This is the first vet we’ve been to that always contacts you for follow up to make sure that everything is going well after a visit. Our one cat (Chuck) was very happy seeing Dr. Patel and it’s the only time I’ve ever seen him happy after a vet visit.

Best vet. He is so funny and knows boy (fur baby) hes very vocal and afraid when I take him out. He makes sure my boy is comfortable, and made me laugh so hard when the vet tech was aprehensive to way cat (he was very vocal he wasnt happy) and even the vet said dont worry, he's all talk, just killed me in laughter because he knew my boy. ❤ the team.

Dr Patel is the best vet I have ever brought my pets to. We moved to the area four years ago and after moving 20 minutes further last year we still bring our pups here. We will be customers for life. The employees here really care and are super friendly.

What an amazing team they have at Royal Parkside. I feel at easy that all my dog's needs will be taken care of there. When my dog was really sick, the doctor would see him twice a day whenever we needed to pop in and would call in the evening to check on him. Perfect!

Since moving to Barrie about 4 years ago I have been taking my rottweiler to Dr. Patel... He is by far the Veterinarian I have dealt with in the last 15 years. Unfortunately my rottweiler Mack developed bone cancer just this spring and I had to make that horrible decision of putting down my best friend. Dr. Patel and his staff during the euthanasia process were so great. They all genuinely care about their customers and their pets. Will be bringing our new puppy when that time comes. Thank you for everything that you and your staff did for my best friend. RIP Mack Bear❤
