I am so grateful for the love and compassion that Dr. Laura brings to her practice. Dr. Laura's Mobile Veterinary Service allowed me to have my pet euthanized in my own home where she was able to fall asleep and pass peacefully, feeling loved and relaxed. When it was time to remove her from the house Dr. Laura very gently wrapped her in a blanket and placed her in a cushioned basket and carried her to the car as carefully as you would a newborn baby. The thoughtfulness and compassion shown throughout the entire process will stay in my memory for a very long time. The pricing was a little lower than expected, especially when I factor in the little 'extras' that I was not billed for. The response time was quick and all my questions were answered thoroughly when I emailed to set up our appt. For anyone who considers their pet to be family, I highly recommend Dr. Laura and her Mobile Veterinary Services. A pets end of life is an emotional event but doing it in my own home left me feeling good about her state of mind and her emotional state as she passed.

It has taken me a little while to write this review because of how hard it has been to lose our beloved dog, but Dr. Laura made the experience as positive as it possibly could have been. She drove over two hours to allow us to say goodbye to our dog at our cottage, and was such a gentle, caring and respectful part of the process. She encouraged us to include our children in saying goodbye, and though I wouldn't have, thinking it was too much for them, she was absolutely right and they not only understood, but gained so much closure being part of the goodbye to our sweet dog. Laura was kind, professional and I would highly recommend her services to anyone. Because of her, we gave our dog the "best death" we could ever have imagined, on the dock at his favourite place, holding his families hands.

Our little pup of 13 years has been sick and suffering and we made the painful decision to put him down. He melts down at the vet, shaking uncontrollably and wimpering. We wanted him to have a peaceful passing at home and had heard of in home euthanasia. Our vet recommended Dr Coulters service " Heart with wings". I am in awe of how incredibly compassionate and skilled Dr. Laura Coulter was with our little doggie and even our grieving family. It cost a few dollars more but please do this for your family pet if you are able. I feel like we honoured him with a very peaceful passing in his final moments. Dr. Laura definately has a gift.????

I am so grateful for the beautiful work that Dr. Laura does. Our cat was very sick and she reassured us that it was her time to go. This was such a relief as you always feel some regret when you have to put an animal down. Dr. Laura took the time to explain exactly what she was going to do, so there were no surprises. Every detail was thought of right up until the end when she tucked our cat into a beautiful basket and blanket and carried her out. It was very ceremonial and she also left us with a paw print. We so appreciate all that she did to make our cat’s passing peaceful. It was so much better to have this done at home rather than in a clinic. Thanks Dr. Laura.

OMG Doctor Erin saw my puppy that had been released from a vet emergency that said there was nothing left they could do. I can't even begin to explain how compassionate and caring Dr.Laura and her staff are. We met them for the first time a week ago when we had to put down our 15 yr old Golden, Cedar. Our heart were and still are very shattered ????. We have 4 boys under 14 who were all present and they were so good with them, giving each of them time and discussing step by step what they were doing, even giving time to give attention to our 3 year old English bulldog willow who was so confused to what was happening. They even left books to help the boys understand what was happening. I can't not thank you enough for being so amazing with our sweet girl and helping her cross over the rainbow Bridge. The paw print mold was such a huge thing for the boys as well. You are definitely earth bound angels for these animals. Although putting my dog down was a very difficult thing Dr. Erin and her assistant (I think Emily?) did an amazing job. They showed care and empathy. They came to the house where my dog was comfortable and not stressed as he would be at the vets office. They provided us with clippings of his fur, a pamphlet on grieving, and a nice clay imprint of his paw which was beautiful. Although it was such a difficult thing to do these two helped make the day go better. If you unfortunately have to put your dog down doing it in your own area/home really helps put the dog at peace and I would recommend it.

We decided to use Dr.Coulter for the at home service to have our baby put to rest she was extremely professional and compassionate and did not rush us at all we must have kept her at our home for over 2 hours as it was the toughest thing my wife and I have had to do in our lives but it was the right decision and Dr.Coulter helped to assure us that from beginning to end. We chose to have a private cremation and although at first it may seem expensive by the time they left my home I had already felt I got my money's worth it was a very personal experience then when it came time to pick up the ashes I got presented with a beautiful package both from Pets Above and Dr.Coulter the urn we chose turned out beautiful and the paw prints Dr.Coulter were also just as beautiful even a heart felt card hand written by Dr.Coulter herself It was very nice and for what it is a very sad moment in our lives I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for it my wife and I would recommend her service to anyone even as just a at home vet. Dr Laura came to our house to assist us with our Great Dane Monty’s end of life journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Laura Coulter helped my precious 9 lb. Missy to cross the Rainbow Bridge this week at our home. When Missy flinched as Dr. Laura touched her to give a sleepy needle, Dr. Laura backed off and changed to option 2 immediately. She put sleepy medicine in a bowl of peanut butter and gave me tiny treats to dip in the bowl. She then left the room and Missy sat happily on my lap joyfully eating PB treats for about 1/2 an hour until she was sound asleep. Then Dr. Laura came back and gave her the final needle to send her to heaven. She shaved her little leg to find a vein and put the hair into a tiny plastic bag which she left for me. Dr. Laura brought a lovely soft blanket to wrap Missy and carried her out in her arms like a baby. It was such a peaceful, painless, even happy ending for Missy and I cannot thank Dr. Laura Coulter enough for her patience and compassion. Such a different experience than with any of my other pets at a vet's office and I didn't have to walk out crying and try to drive.
