I've taken all my service dogs here and they've been absolutely wonderful to them. My dog loves coming here she gets so excited and very happy that she's going to get to see all of you lovely people and let's not forget the cookies lol but mostly she loves seeing all of you. They have a wonderful health plan option going on here but they do not accept anything but credit cards, and not debit credit cards either folks. So make sure you have good credit if your choosing this vet or your SOL on getting your pet on a yearly health plan.

Overpriced service : doctors eager to give as many treatments as they possibly can at once to get as much money as possible out of your pocket - not considering it would be too much medication for your pets to handle! They can be nice people, providing top notch customer service, handling your pets like they're their own as long as everything is agreed, money ready to spend until there are uneasy decisions to make and then you will be in the guilt of 'not doing what's best for your pets' and your pets suddenly become sick animals in danger for themselves and others. Sorry I find this hypocrisy and not what I need despite other people apparently had a good time here. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe they knew I'm not a potential long term customer. I don't know. But the numbers can say something: Comparing to other vet clinics and hospital in the area they charge up to 40% more depending on the service and if the point is about getting the treatments done keeping your pets healthy then I will not bring my pets here again.

Absolutely love love love this place. With a new puppy I called around to a few different vets in the area to get an idea on pricing and found this one had the best prices. They care about your animal. I feel like they're in it to genuinely help your animal and not just for the money which lets me trust them to make the best call. Would 110% recommend this vet. So happy that I decided to come here.

Dr. Gillard is the kind of person you want to be best friends with; I bother her quite often because I have four pets and get anxiety over the littlest things. she's very understanding and super kind. the rest of the staff is amazing as well, they're always so sweet and patient.

Extremely disappointed with our experience on Friday, February 10th, 2017. We have be a customer of Baywood South Animal Hospital since February 2013. On the stormy snowy night of February 10th our dog was experiencing blood in her urine and I called Baywood at approximately 5:15 p.m. and was told that they had three customers that had appointments at the moment and would be closing in 45 minutes. They noted to me that I lived in Innisfil and that it would be quite a long drive to go to the Huronia Veterinary Emergency Clinic, especially in the terrible snow storm. I was very disappointed that they were not able to accommodate us that night. I guess that customer loyalty doesn't exist anymore at Baywood. Huronia Emergency Clinic was fabulous, btw!

Great people and super accommodating. My cat will have to be fixed soon and we were going to go through the SPCA but are more comfortable with these guys as feel they are more thorough. We live in the other end of Barrie but feel as this vet is worth the trip!
