I cannot say enough amazing this about Dr. Singh and his team. After rushing my french bulldog, Ace to the the ER in Toronto I was very displeased with their level of care and the astronomical cost they were quoting me for a cystotomy (bladder surgery). I was told that if I could find a veterinarian who could perform the surgery it would not be as costly. I started searching and came across The Animal Hospital on Bell Farm. After calling them at 7:00PM Dr. Singh completely cleared his schedule for the next day to take on Ace as a patient (even though I had still not confirmed Ace would be stable enough to travel) they still cleared their schedule in case he was able to. Ace was able to travel to Barrie the next morning for the surgery. Upon arrival at 9:30AM they took me inside and gave me a tour of the facility including where Ace would be having his surgery. At the Toronto clinic I was not even allowed inside (which I understood, because of covid) but this was going above and beyond to make me comfortable. They allowed me to stay with Ace up until they sedated him for his surgery. Upon leaving I felt so confident in Dr. Singh and his team. They sent me pictures and videos to update me along the way and even offer FaceTime as option. I have never felt so much compassion from a veterinary clinic. They earned so much trust from me.

I had been taking my dog to another Vet until a friend mentioned Dr.Singh. My dog was often lethargic an refused to eat After a couple of ear infections my previous vet said he might have a food allergy and took a $200 blood test and said I should try changing his food and I should consider a barrage of allergy tests at a significant cost. Long story short it appeared as more of a money grab than concern for my dog. On my first visit with Dr Singh he spent time with me and my dog. He and his staff were very caring and it's not put on or phony. He examined my dog thoroughly. checked his ears took a swab and checked the results immediately under a microscope. He diagnosed a yeast infection and also commented his paws were irritated ( I hadn't noticed it before until he pointed it out) He said it was definitely a food allergy attributable to the Chicken Kibble I was feeding him. No requirement for expensive allergy tests he diagnosed it right away. He took an aggressive treatment plan and I changed the food to a salmon diet the same day of the appointment. In one day my dog was full of energy and eating like a piggy. What a difference in a vet that has genuine concern for pets over the bottom line. Thanks Doc

This is one of, if not the best vet I have ever been to. They saw us on short notice, more than once, they are friendly, kind, and compassionate. They listened and payed close attention to the information/background we provided to ensure they had a clear history and then took the time to develop a treatment plan that we were both comfortable with. They didn’t push any product or service on us. The vet provided his opinion and let us choose what we felt was best for our pets. We are making Animal Hospital on Bell Farm Road our regular vet moving forward and fell 100% confident with this decision. Absolute best vet and veterinary staff at this animal hospital! I don't normally write google reviews, but this place definitely deserves one! When we found out from an x-ray at our vet clinic here in Windsor that our Bonnie was going to have a singleton puppy, we searched our area far and wide for an experienced and knowledgeable vet that would do an elective c-section (with no luck), as singletons are RARELY born with no complications due to a lack of hormones from puppies to trigger contractions during labor (uterine inertia) leading to death of the pup and risk of infection to the mother. If contractions do happen, singletons are often too big to fit through the birth canal and get stuck, and often die from being in transit for so long. (And this boy was definitely too large to be delivered naturally!). Thankfully my breed mentor knows Dr. Uvi Singh, and immediately contacted him to schedule Bonnie in for a c-section. They got her in the day before her due date, perfect timing! We drove all the way from Windsor to Barrie (4.5 hours) and we were extremely impressed! Dr Uvi and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and respectful and we could tell they were genuinely happy to help and be a part of Bonnie's delivery! Everything went smoothly, and I am so happy Bonnie got to have her c-section in a calm, relaxed environment and we were NOT rushed! Dr Uvi even took the time to introduce himself and get to know us before her surgery. I am so grateful to Dr Uvi Singh and his team for not only doing such an amazing job caring for Bonnie and her baby but also for letting us be right there the whole time and let us know everything that was happening. I’ve never come across a veterinary team that genuinely cares this much about pets and their “pet parents”! Bonnie and her pup got the absolute best care here. Should we need expert repro vet care in the future, we will definitely be back!

After taking our special needs animal to this clinic, we simply wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The level of care is unlike anywhere we have been before, and the level of service is something you don't often see these days. The staff are a pleasure to deal with, and Dr. Singh treats us like extended family. Every vet says that they care for animals, but Animal Hospital on Bell Farm Road is truly different than other veterinary clinics. After having to find a new vet due to a scheduling issue with our French Bulldog’s neutering, I was frantically trying to chose a new place to trust with our pet’s health. We were referred by a friend to a new vet clinic in Barrie, and when I called I was able to speak with the vet tech and the doctor himself before making my decision to bring our pooch in, and let me tell you it was the best decision I could have made. On the day of surgery I was contacted by the vet team throughout the day updating me and keeping me in the loop, and was notified when everything was done and when my pick up time would be. Due to COVID, entrance to the clinic is not permitted, so they provided me with an IPad to be able to see the doctor, vet tech and pup when they are doing their exam and going over the discharge instructions, what a difference this made. In combination with their thorough, professional and most of all caring manner, it really made a hard day that much easier. I had a small worry in regards to aftercare and was able to call and send photos and get reassured that everything was fine. There really is nothing that is too small of a worry, when they say call about anything they mean it! The environment they have created is a place where you can truly feel comfortable to ask all the questions no matter how small or silly they seem. Dr. Singh and his team are beyond kind, and I personally think that we have ended up with this vet for a reason. They are not about the money or being the biggest vet in the town, it is about the animals, their owners and that special relationship that most pet owners hold so dear. Are you not happy with your current vet ? Well that was my issue until now!!! I was referred to Dr Uvi by a good friend. She knew the type of service that I expected for my 4 dogs. They are my family and I didn't appreciate the other vet we were at always being so busy that they rarely had time to answer questions. Making to switch to Dr Uvi and the team at Animal Hospital on Bell Farm was the best thing I could have ever done for my dogs!! They now get full attention, Dr Uvi answers any of my concerns or questions. It's a small practice with the customer service that you expect for your loved family members.!! It's hard on all vets during this pandemic but Dr Uvi thought this out clearly and gives us ipads so we can still view our pet while we sit in our car, we are just as active in their appointment as if we were in the office. Brilliant !!!! I will never go anywhere else!!! I'd give 10 stars if I could !!! I have been referring everyone I know that is looking for an honest and intelligent vet to give these guys a call ! You won't regret it !!!

Last summer, our elderly cat (19 at the time) was having some health issues and at the time Dr. Singh was practicing in Huntsville. He was so compassionate towards our cat and was able to get Louis back on track. Dr. Singh has since opened his own practice in Barrie and our cat was having health issues recently related to an elderly cat (now turned 20) and we knew it was time. Having seen how Dr. Singh was with Louis the year before, we decided we would like Dr. Singh to help Louis and us through this difficult time. We can't say enough about the compassion and caring and professionalism that Dr. Singh and his wife provided above all to Louis but us as well. We would highly, highly recommend anyone considering needing a vet to give Dr. Singh a consideration.

If you are searching for a new vet, I highly recommend Animal Hospital on Bell Farm. They're extremely thorough and I feel like they genuinely care about the health of their patients. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. My girl is finally recovering from a sore throat and cough, that was misdiagnosed last year as a collapsed trachea ("incurable", costly "trial treatments" etc) by my previous vet. Now I know vets can't be perfect, but my previous vet checked my girl for less than 5 minutes, before bringing her back out with his diagnosis... All the while, refering to her as a male. (????) AHOBF spent almost a full hour with me and my girl, checking her out, to make sure she was properly diagnosed and got the right treatment! Saving her from the pain, and my wallet hundreds of dollars. ???? TLDR; AHOBF is awesome and gets a 10/10 from me!

2 months ago I called the clinic on a Sunday night and Dr Singh happened to be at the hospital. I arrived at 9 pm and Dr Singh was awesome! He has a very sincere genuine love for animals. Im selective as to who treats my pets and have not returned to a couple of clinics for varying reasons but will be a returning for ongoing pet health care needs. the clinic is very impressive. i was given a tour to the back of the clinic and wow. Very clean and everything from xray, ultrasound, surgery.....al done in house. if you are looking for an empathetic, compassionate, caring and very competent Vet, you have it here. I was referring friends to Dr Singh but they were already clients here. They agree and love Dr Singh also. Thank you Dr Singh (Tangey is doing great by the way after our night vist)

If you are looking for a vet that is kind and compassionate this is the place for you. Dr. Singh and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The experience starts as soon as you walk through the front door. The front office is clean, modern and reflects Dr. Singh's pride of ownership. During lockdown you sit in your car while your pet is inside, but Dr. Singh gives you an iPad and will video call you so you remain involved; sure beats sitting in the dark wondering what going on. When your appointment is finished, all your questions are answered and you are left with a sense of true value for your money. Dr. Singh is genuine and truly wants what's best for your animals. This animal hospital is a diamond in the rough and I'm glad it's in our neighbourhood!

I am new to Barrie and did a lot of research on what vet clinic to take my new puppy Charlie to. My previous senior dog had died earlier this year after a battle with cancer and heart disease, she was terrified of the vet and I didn't have the best experiences with my previous vet, such as not giving her the right painkillers before she died and leaving her in pain. After reading the reviews for Doc Bowtie, I brought Charlie, 11 weeks at the time, to see Dr. Singh. He is amazing! Not only has he helped us on his days off, Charlie is so excited to see him and loves coming into the office. Which I am not used to. His prices are fair and he never over charges or upsells. Powered by animal love is their slogan and its true, you can tell its the animal first.

We live 1.5 hours away in the Niagara Region. Our 10 month old puppy was experiencing swelling under the eye and jaw. After seeing our vet 3 times with no diagnosis we started calling around to other vets all across Ontario where no one was either willing to see him or accepting new patients. Our breeder than recommended Dr Uvi even though we live far away because he offered teleconference. I reached out and had a virtual appointment right away. Dr Uvi spent an hour online with me and our puppy and I had more care and answers in that online hour than I did in person with my local vet. We determined that he needed dental X-rays and booked an appt that suited my schedule. We took the drive and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were shown patience, care and compassion. The hospital is state of the art. We were finally able to have a result for our Duke. Although not the answer we were hoping for as it turns out he has cancer we at least know what is wrong with him. We have had animals most of our lives and dealt with many different vets and I have never experienced such care. Even though we live pretty far we have switched our care over for our other Dog as well.

Coming here was the best experience I've had in any vet clinic to date. In previous experiences, the clinics always felt very rushed and so my dog was always anxious and scared. The environment here is calm, secure, and friendly. It is also very clear that this service is purely for the animals well-being. I've never seen my dog this relaxed in any clinic (the treats and demeanour make a big difference). However, It does not stop there, there is also after care and consideration once you leave the facility (post surgery), which I found to be extremely thoughtful.The facility is very clean and spacious and the staff are great. Highly recommend.

We came to AHOBFR after a poor experience at another local clinic. A friend of ours recommended Dr. Singh to us. Our pup is a 10mo old rough collie and after our first visit at AHOBFR we knew this clinic would be the best clinic for our bubs and I wish we came here to begin with! We were greeted on time and in a friendly manner. Dr. Singh and his staff were so wonderful, so kind and so inviting to me and my bubs. The clinic is clean and has advanced technology for animals. Among other things, I wanted a clinic where I could know my vet and they could know us (more of a personal connection opposed to just another dog and her owner) and know the details of our pup (vaccinations, etc.) without trying to give us duplicate medications and keep us waiting over an hour for a scheduled appointment. I was in awe with our experience and feel this clinic is the best place for our bubs to be cared for. Dr. Singh is honest, transparent, caring, humble and overall a good person. Sometimes you just get a good feeling about someone. I felt my concerns were heard and appropriate recommendations were made. I finally feel like my bubs is in good hands. Amazing amazing amazing! The most caring genuine vet you'll ever meet! He takes the time to really find out what is wrong with your pet. The only vet that will give you his personal cell to contact him after hours if you have any concerns. They give you an iPad in your car so you can see and talk to the vet during the entire examination! I drive 1.5 hours to see him. The receptionist and the Assistant are so helpful and kind as well. My boyfriend came here yesterday on very short notice because my doggie was experiencing some bloody stool. They were able to take us in so quickly and they were very kind. They even resolved an unrelated to our visit health issue that we had seen our regular vet about multiple times and they did nothing. This is the BEST vet I have ever been to. By a long shot. My German Shepherd girl has always been anxious and extremely nervous with strangers. My last experience at our previous vet was that they wouldn’t let me in with her and told me I would have to sedate her to bring her back. That wasn’t happening. I found the Bell Farm team on google from these amazing reviews and let me tell you they live up to all of it, and then some! From the first phone call to the first visit yesterday. My pup was loud and very nervous. Everyone took their time with her and by the end she was taking treats and giving kisses. As a devoted pet parent this meant the world to me! If you ever feel like your current vet is far more concerned with selling food instead of actually digging into the issues with your dog, come to this clinic. It’s like night and day to my other experiences. If I could give it 100 stars out of 5, I absolutely would!!! This team is extraordinary. Bless all of them!

When my vet of 20 years would not fit my poor dog into their schedule for three weeks, for an issue that needed attention ASAP, I called Animal Hospital on Bell Farm Rd. They squeezed my dog in for an emergency appt on that same day. Because of Covid, I was not allowed to attend the appt with my dog, but they gave me their IPAD so I could communicate with them and watch the examination. Dr Bow Tie came out to speak to me immediately following the appt and I fell in love with his perspective on pets as being an important part of our family and I could tell he truly cares for the animals. The staff are awesome too. Takes a lot for me to move to another vet but this was a no brainer. Good bye VCA, hello Dr Bow Tie.

Dr Uvi Singh (Doc Bow Tie) and all the staff at AHOBF go above and beyond with their service and it is clear that they not only care for their patients, but the pet parents as well. As a Veterinary Technician student, I was blessed with the field placement position at this clinic and I got to see first-hand what an amazing team and incredible place this truly is. I have seen how sincere and kind Dr Uvi is when he speaks to pet parents and have seen the shift in people as they become more relaxed and trusting that their pet is in good hands. All of the staff there are so compassionate and welcoming to people and animals alike. The appointments are never rushed and everyone takes their time to ensure everything is explained thoroughly and options are given. Even with current Covid restrictions, pet parents are never "left in the dark" about what is happening, because they are able to see the exam through a provided iPad and a live Zoom call with the technicians and Dr Uvi. I like my vet, but Dr Uvi has absolutely raised the bar and I will be bringing my pets from now on because I know and trust the level of dedication and care they will receive. It is also an understatement when it is said that Avery is the glue that holds everything together. The work that she and Renata do to keep everything organized and running smoothly is top tier. I cannot stress enough how amazing this clinic is. Dr Uvi (aka dr. Bow tie) is one of the most caring veterinarians you’ll ever meet. He has taken such great care of both of my dog for a while now. I always end up leaving the clinic with zero questions. Avery and Renata are also just as amazing! They both have put smiles on my face when we had to go In for something “not so fun” and really made me feel comfortable. They even made me a tea to help calm my nerves. Still can’t thank them enough for that. I’ve referred everyone I know to these guys. You honestly won’t be sorry. This clinic has become more then just a “vet”, they have become another extension onto my family. The clinic itself is so clean, up to date on all the newest technology, and just overall beautiful. So if you couldn’t tell by this review, I 100% recommend bringing your pet to the Animal Hospital on Bellfarm rd.

This is a very special place. Unfortunately we don't usually visit our veterinarians for positive reasons, instead we see them when we need them most. Our pets are such precious members of our families and when their health is at risk there is no one that I would trust more than Dr. Uvi Singh. This man has dedicated his entire life to taking care of animals and their well being. The whole facility is state of the art and is based around animal love and care when we need it most. The friendly and compassionate atmosphere and treatment towards our beloved pets by the entire team here allows me to always feel welcome and at home. There is a huge difference between a clinic that is there for the money and a place that exists as a result of passion and good will (this facility). This special place is all about loving animals and giving them the best treatment and care possible. Every single member of the Animal Hospital on Bell Farm Road Team are genuinely caring, compassionate, honest, knowledgeable and make you feel as part of their family. They do what is best for the patient and use both modern and naturopathic techniques to offer a high standard of veterinarian care. They have leading-edge technology, skills and care which can meet virtually every need of the animal and pet parent in sophisticate and affordable as in-house service. Their care and compassion does not end in the exam room, they following up regularly to ensure both the patient and pet parent are doing well, offer support and guidance. Dr Singh’s surgical techniques are truly amazing (the best I have ever seen)and paired his medical naturopathic skills he was able to help my dog when other vet clinics failed. All my animals are now be part of The Animal Hospital on Bell Farm Road family and knowing that Dr Singh and his team will be taking care of them I know they are in the best hands. I can't say enough good things about this vet so happy I found him!

Dr. Singh and all of his staff are beyond professional, incredibly knowledgeable and capable, and they truly care for their patients. For example…every time we’ve had an emergency, they’ve figured out how to fit us in, no matter what. Today, We had another emergency and Dr. Singh came into his clinic on Good Friday and spent an hour and half dealing with the issue. They ALWAYS go above and beyond and I trust them completely with all of my animals. If you’re looking for a vet, look no further, this is where you need to be.
