For the most part I give them a 5⭐️ rating, but their lack of organization and communication around Covid is very poor. I had to wait outside in the cold when it was my appointment time for someone to come get me. They have a sandwich board outside stating in small print what they want you to do before entering. Even though they have my email address to send me appointment reminders and my cell number for the same reason, they have never sent me any information on what to do before coming into their business. That's why I've dropped my review down to only two stars.

I am an evacuee during 2017 BC wildfires staying in PG from WL. My dog stepped on glass and cut her foot in town and she needed stiches. I called and they made a space available for us and offered me a very fair discount to help offset my expenses. Very helpful very friendly and I really appreciated my visit.

Doctors are good but front staff are not nice when people are paying thousands of dollars for their pets and all these people care about is money , and still they over talk and they are not nice to customers, ,,,they need to go and do something else ,

Disappointing. Called for an appointment for my dog. Probably a tooth abscess. Was offered an appointment in 5 weeks. Dog could be dead by then.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our dearly loved furbaby kitty of 19.5 years. I just want to say thank you for the emergency care, and the kind privacy given to our family to be alone in a room with him until he passed without having to choose the needle. We are all still reeling from the loss today, but we are ever so thankful that we all were there for his first breath, and his last. Especially under the circumstances, we so appreciate the kindness and compassion shown in being able to just spend time alone with him. Thank you.

Best vet we have ever had. After my dog had surgery they called to check in regularly just to see how he was doing and if I had any questions. They are also really good with him during visits, and I can tell that they genuinely care about his well-being. Dr. Sara Vanderkraan is absolutely amazing and my boy is back to his old self since she fixed his knee in December!

They are only nice to people and dogs with money . Phoned to ask about suggestions for constipated dog after being hit by a car...? They had ZERO advice, the girl said the best she could do was schedule me a call back from the dr...waited all day...doesn't care...good , we will never recommend, or call or go back...thanx for robbing me $400.

have had many experiences with this vet, my cats were always treated good, my mom even took her pets there and had good experiences, same with my brother and sister in law, the little dog was always happy to see the vet ❤ Unfortunate times have come where the animal crosses over the rainbow Bridge the staff are very friendly courteous respectful and understanding ????

Dr Sara Vanderkraan is by far the best vet I have even had for my cat. Sometimes being in a world filled with dog lovers, it's hard to find that special "some one" who is able to properly grasp and adore the personality of a cat. Her aura scream "cat lover" which resulted in her showing a huge amount compassion towards my animal that I have not yet seen. The bond she strived to achieve with him was truly more than I ever could ask for. Thank you so very much for loving my cat as much as I do.

My 14 year old Shih Tzu has arthritis in his left hip. He has trouble with stairs and navigating in the house as he is blind in one eye. He is on a painkiller and during Christmas break, I didn't realize he was down to one pill. He takes one every night and one in the morning if needed. I called the pharmacy at PG Vet and explained and apologized for the late call( they like to have 24 hours notice for medication refills). I got a call that same afternoon that his meds were ready. The Dr's are great and the receptionists are friendly and professional. ????. I won't take my dogs anywhere else.

They were so good with my carmella as soon as she started getting bad they made room to see her adap even though she'd never been a patient. They were so great with my baby up to the end even did her paw prints they gave her and me compassion and dignity

i regret taking my kitty there recently as the vet was cold, he sounded like a robot, no empathy just stated facts. Due to a neurologiocal problem that only an MRI could diagnose they could not help so she was put to sleep. Even the procedure felt rushed and not thought through. She wasn't just a cat, she was family and i think the vets there need to have more compassion and give more time to talk about options. More tests could have been done, they are the experts yet were "stumped". Now i live with that regret of not taking her somewhere else.

Even during the pandemic I have had great animal care frm Dr. Gleasure and Dr. Sara. I was given great service on the phone. I have yet to have a complaint regarding the care of my girls. Thank you to all the staff, from the front counter to the back office.

My family and I cannot thank Dr. Kleywegt and the staff of PG vet enough for their services. Our 4 year old cat had been acting off for a couple weeks and we really wanted him to see a vet, but absolutely no other vet in town (even our own vet) would see him, even for an emergency appointment because they didn’t think it sounded severe enough. PG vet was the only one to squeeze him in. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our little Ollie the next day as his condition was too far along to treat, but the staff made this incredibly unexpected and difficult situation the best it could possibly be. The receptionist was so patient when I phoned them crying to make the euthanasia appointment, and their kindness and compassion throughout everything was unmatched. They didn’t rush us at all when we were saying our final goodbyes, and even made four sets of paw prints for each of my family members to have forever. Thank you so much PG vet and staff, we are forever grateful for everything you did for us and our little Ollie. We know he was in the best hands with you guys. -The Pattinson family

not recommended! my dog needed help while we are on a road trip and stopped by to have her examined. after selling us expensive ultrasonic and urine tests, i was promised the results in 48 hours. it took me everyday reminder emails to finally get a response after five days and all i got was "test was negative, it was not what we thought it was." i even stopped by on my way back from yukon, and they refused to let me see a doctor for her cause she was not an emergency. but i was promised the doctor who saw her the first time would get in touch with me as soon as she is back in the clinic, needless to say i have not heard anything from her again. payed a lot for no diagnose at all and their communication is outright bad.

Extremely professional and gentle care of our beloved Fawn today, as we said goodbye to her. We called in tears at 730am, and we were given an appointment at 10am by the understanding and kind receptionist. We were seen right away into the clinic, shown into a private room and our baby was gently ushered into the next world - I was not able to get the name of the lovely female vet who cared for her, but she was amazing, and we were so grateful for her help. I highly recommend this clinic, as we also have taken our fearful dog there for shots, and she was treated very well despite the snarling and growling she did through the entire visit. Very professional and kind, we appreciate the care we have been given every visit. Thank you again from our family
