Very friendly staff, and our dog is super excited whenever we drop him off for overnight boarding. When we pick him up he has always clearly been well looked after and is exhausted from all the play.

Our dog had a great experience at Veronica's Dog Grooming (762 Dogs). We were in Banff for a few days and there were a few things we wanted to do that were not dog friendly, so we looked around for both a doggy daycare and overnight stay for him and this was the place that had everything we were looking for. Our dog had a blast at daycare, when we dropped him off again for his overnight stay he was super happy. He was able to play with other dogs and you can tell that the owner and the staff are so caring. They happily accommodated our dogs meals and meds schedule. We also were able to schedule a bath and nails while he stayed there. Overall if you want good service and a place where you can leave your pup for the day or an overnight and not have to worry, this is the place. Thanks again for taking such amazing care of our pup.

I was a bit hesitant when we drove up to the place. It's in the industrial area away from the main area of Banff. The people though were very nice. They had regulars come in and those dogs were jumping to go in, which made me feel a lot better. The pricing was very affordable. My dog had a great time. The next day she was excited to return. The only thing I wish they had, was cameras or the ability to see into the back. It gives me peace of mind. For the price and how happy my pup was though, I'll do 5 stars.

We dropped our dog off here for a few hours while we went to the hot springs. The owner was very accommodating and kind. He was great with our dog and he was careful to get to know our dog before taking him. He even took time to take a video of our dog playing and show it to us. Our dog had a great time. Thank you!

It was my first time using a kennel and I felt really upset dropping Juno off but the team was really lovely. My poor stressed pup stressed herself out so much she went her bed and they actually washed it for me so we could continue our adventures. Really recommend!

Our fur baby Archie had a wonderful time at Veronica’s for the 2 days that we had him there in Banff.Right from the enquiry over the phone to the final day at Veronica’s we were really impressed with the high quality of customer service and care exhibited by the staff. The owner and staff at Veronica’s really love pets and that was quite evident by their interaction and their passion towards their work.They maintain high standards and just by taking our pet in for 2 days gave us ample time to enjoy Banff to the fullest .. Highly recommended .. Great job Team Veronica’s!

We spent a couple of days in Banff recently and had our dog with us. We dropped her off at Veronica's so we could all go skiing- no pre booking necessary. Our dog had a fabulous time! We brought her back two days later and she was so excited to be there she didn't even look back at us! The price was reasonable and our dog was tired and happy.

I left my wire hair fox terrier and toy poodle for a week in this kennel. I can tell they were treated well and stayed in a clean and friendly place. I also had my fox terrier groomed, which includes hand stripping. The work done was of high quality and was done paying attention to my requests. Very happy to bring take my dogs there again for their grooming and kennel services.

The staff at Veronica’s, JF in particular, went above and beyond for us!! It was our boys first time being kennelled over night and they made sure he was comfortable and happy. They sent updates and kept in communication with us the whole time. They groomed him so nicely and brought him down to have some pictures with us on our wedding day. Seriously cannot say enough good things about these guys! Highly recommend for your next stay to the Banff/Canmore area :)

Called twice and noone returned my call. I needed to drop my dog off for daycare on a Monday morning so we could go enjoy the hot springs but we got there and its closed!!!!! No hours on the website or the answering machine. Now we can't do anything we wanted today because there's nowhere to leave my dog. Very disappointed.

We went for a day trip to Banff with the family and couldn't take our 12 week old puppy to brunch with us.... Veronicas Dog Grooming took loving care of the little dude for a few hours and he came out bathed and super happy!!!

Completely amazing with the dogs and she was amazing with my 2 boys. They had lots of fun and were tuckered out by the end of the day. She really cares about the dogs, you can definitely tell when you meet her. Overall a GREAT experience and I would highly recommend if you need a dog day sitter, she is the person you would want.

Always a positive place a hidden oasis in Banff National Park ...... update... just came back from veronica's they have in pulsar from horizon...Atlas he needs the fish formula, because chicken one gives him tears???? so thank you new owners ( I forgot there names)????appreciate having a small town feel and listening to customers needs ... wow this might be the longest writing in a long time.. lol welcome to banff or please come down to banff and have veronica's dog grooming look after your little or large critters with total love

My dog stayed there for two nights while we were in Banff. After reading the reviews, I was confident it was a great place, but I feel like they're misleading people to think the dogs are not in kennels during most of their stay. When I picked up my dog around 9h30 in the morning, he had not been out of his kennel or fed yet. Since they close at 5 and no one picked up the phone when I called a few times around 5h30 the day before to let them know i'd pick my dog up at 9h30, that means the dogs are left alone from 5pm to 9h30am+... I don't think it's that big of a deal but having paid 50$ per night, I assumed that he would get better care. I don't think they should advertise it as a kennel free boarding facility as it is not. The staff was really nice when I brought him there the first today, but the guy working on the morning of pick up seemed to not care as much.

I brought my golden retriever puppy to Veronica’s for her first-ever grooming today. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, and went over everything he was going to do before he did it. He was very cautious about damaging her puppy coat and knew exactly how to properly cut a golden. Thank you so much!! We’ll be back soon!

Piedle (my poodle) has loved visiting here since she was just 12 weeks old. Flash forward 7 years (and 2 owner changes) and we are still fans. It has an open area for the dogs to play together during the day, which is perfect for my super social dog whose idea of a perfect day includes running, wrestling, and plenty of pets from humans. She often spends the day here while I ski. That way we both come home tired. :-)

This was the first very time we left our 5 month old puppy on a day care to stay overnight. Poor pup was very nervous but the staff was very nice and friendly. They gave us a detailed report the next day and answered all my questions. I would leave him again at Veronica's for our next weekend in Banff.

What an excellent place to leave your dog for the day or overnight! From the Owner to all the staff members that work at Veronica's they only have the best interests of you furry 4 legged friend in mind. My partner and I have been taking our dog to Veronica's for the last year as he has major separation anxiety when we are at work and he always comes home tired and with a dog smile on his face. They love their dogs so much that one time our dog was the only one at the daycare so the owner got his staff that were coming in to bring in there dogs so ours would have someone to play with for the day. We are sad that we are moving away and losing our great daycare, but would recommend Veronica's to anybody that needs a place to leave their dog for a day or a few. Next time we are in town we will be back!

What an incediable experiance my 2 dogs had at Veronica's. They stayed for close to 2 weeks and both were also groomed. When I picked them up they lookded so amazing, I could tell they were well taken care off for the 2 weeks they spent at Veronica's.

Beyond happy with the services Veronica and her team provide. Offers full or half day daycare for your dog, which allows you the freedom to shop or hop on a bus to do some sight seeing but still have your pet close by and in VERY good hands! Highly recommend!

We were visiting Banff for my hubby's birthday and we knew our fur-baby Milo couldn't do a few things with us during the day. Our hotel gave us a recommendation for Veronica's. I cried on my way out because Milo didn't look back once, he was so excited from the love he got as soon as we walked in. We appreciate the care you took of our little guy for the day, thank you so much! I know Milo is looking forward to being back.

We had brought our three dogs camping to Banff and soon found that they were too much to handle with the barking and being around so many people in Banff. I could not have asked for a better experience with Veronica’s.. They were friendly and very accommodating on such short notice with our dogs and when we picked them up after 4 nights they were so tired from playing that they passed out for most of our ride home. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely use them again in the future. A+++ experience!

They're really nice here! We took our Layla here for her first grooming. She's a maltipoo and at the time only weighed 5.5 pounds. She was only 3 months and a half too. She didn't get shaved because she's too young. Emma at veronica's done a awesome job Layla came back all brushed out looking like a little doll, bow in hair and everything. I think I'll take her again at the end of the week. :)

I left my dog over the weekend with Emma at Veronicas dog grooming, it was my first time leaving Bella with anyone and I have to say I was extremely nervous. That being said, Emma made me feel extremely comfortable and I knew Bella would be in great hands! When I picked up Bella Emma had done an amazing job on her. She looked absolutely great, I really like that Veronicas is kennel free and they have an indoor and outdoor doggy playground! I would highly recommend Veronicas to anyone in the Bow Valley and any visitors in the Canmore, Lake Louise and Banff areas!!

I cannot recommend this daycare enough! My pup is a very anxious girl and all the staff were so amazing with her. She had a great time and came home absolutely tuckered! They open early so we dropped Rhea off and we were able to ski the whole day!

We needed a half day of doggie daycare while we were visiting Banff. We found Veronica's online and saw the wonderful reviews so we made a reservation. Upon arrival I asked if I could have a tour of the facility, I was told no (I understand that it would make some dogs bark but if I am paying you to take care of my dog I would like to know where I am leaving them). I gave Veronica's the benefit of the doubt because of the great reviews. When we came back to pick up our dogs they were stressed and anxious. We could hear them opening kennels which we assume our dogs were put in the majority of the time based on their stress and anxiety. We will happily never use Veronica's again and will not be putting our dogs through the stress and anxiety.

Cannot say enough about what an amazing group of people that work here. We were stuck last minute having to find a place that could take our pup Baxter for 3 nights and they were more than accommodating in taking him in on short notice. The first thing they did upon meeting him was to put my pup at ease, get to know his habits and he took to the staff right away. They took such good care of him and made sure he had lots of fun and cuddles, he slept all the way home. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of doggy daycare, grooming and overnight care. Thank you so much for loving my pup!

Veronica's saved our ski trip to Banff, and we were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place and the people in it are!!! When our Rover sitter was unable to take our dog Ruby at the last minute, we called Veronica's and they took her in without hesitation and were so friendly and understanding. Ruby was obviously happy with her stay and was treated well. She was fully tuckered and satisfied with her day! Will definitely bring Ruby there again next time we come through Banff...with more notice. ????

I would give zero if it was possible. My partner and I had dropped are 6 month old puppy ( very reluctantly, we had friends staying at sunshine village from Australia so felt obligated ) at veronica's. The next morning we got a call telling us we needed to come pick up are dog immediately. We ended up running down the hill as quick as possible. We arrived to the kennel to a tiny puppy with a BROKEN LEG AND NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY OR HOW IT HAPPENED. We took are dog immediately to the vet in canmore and had to leave him there for three days over the procedure. After the 2500 surgery we returned to the kennel to ask how this happened. We got the answer that it happened over the night ? They couldn't explain how his leg broken as he was supposed to be in his kennel over night. As they kept trying to tell the same story over and over it changed, apparently they took our dog home overnight. They didn't offer to pay any of the bill !!!! They offered to give us 5 free nights and days of boarding. No not in this life. Never again.

We left our two cockapoos for an overnight stay; they asked a lot of questions about the dog’s personalities and habits... very welcoming people! When we picked them up they gave us a full report of everything they did; play, sleep, behaviour; they really paid attention to our dogs, because they were able to describe their personalities!! Awesome place!

Our dog got diarrhea in our vehicle, we needed to get him washed ASAP and we called Veronica’s dog grooming and they rescued us!!! Or dog was full of anxiety about being in a new place and they were gentle with him and helped us get him cleaned up before continuing on to our destination. Thanks so so much for all your help!! I took my dogs in this place several times. They had been very good to us and their jobs were always amazing!! Unfortunately, my dog dislike getting grooming. She tried to bite veronica, scratched her... but still veronica did fantastic jobs even though she left me a comment how crazy my dog became on the table. I get it, but there is nothing I can do. It is who she is. She is a dog!! However, things were changed this time... They charged me $115 for my dog grooming because my dog was crazy and it took 2 people to give her service. Seriously?? To be fair, she was not veronica that I used to see all the time and their job was still good. What the girl said to me at the till was... if my dog gets used to be on the table and easily let them groom, the price would be cheaper... haha I don't think so. I thought it was a flat rate. I pay around $75 and tip them usually, but not on top of $115. Seems like they tip themselves already this time. I don't think I would take my dog back here anymore if they keep doing this. Well, they probably didn't like giving a service to my dog anyway. Ridiculous!!!

We have been to Veronica's many times over the last year. It used to be our go to whenever we were in Banff, as our puppy Kuma always seemed to have a blast. However, when we took Kuma this August for two days, we noticed he came home bleeding with a large sore on his lips/snout, and two deep puncture wounds on his neck. We were told that none of the staff noticed anything, but that an incident report was filled out and to send them any vet bills once we got him checked out. Totally reasonable, accidents happen (too bad nobody was close enough to hear the sounds of a dog fight though?). I took my dog to the vet and sent the receipt for only the medicine ($27) to the owner. I figured I would cover the check up fee ($100) since it was an accident. I've been totally ghosted, tried texting and calling multiple times and it's been almost a month. Super disappointed that Veronica's would pretend like they care when they don't, especially since it was several deep punctures that still are not healed today. It definitely could have been much worse, and I am horrified to think no one was close enough to even hear the dogs fighting, let alone break it up if my dog was bitten in the neck. I feel like I was very reasonable into trying to find a fair compromise, and have been taken advantage of. Update: upon posting this review, the vet bills were paid in full and owner assured me that the situation has been followed up on and resolved. He was apologetic and quick to respond.

I would highly recommend Veronica's Doggy Daycare services. We were visiting Banff during our son's reading week and needed a place to bring our dog so that we could visit some sights. After our initial phone call, the owner was thorough in his assessment of our pooch upon our arrival at Veronica's. He also provided a good verbal review of our dog's behavior and activities upon our return. Our dog was happy and tired for the rest of the day - which made us happy!

We left our 5 month old GSP pup here for the day while we did some skiing at sunshine. We ended up missing our shuttle back into town and showing up late to pick up our dog. The staff was extremely accommodating and set us at ease while we waited for the next bus to arrive. Once we finally got back into town we spoke with the owner and employee who was looking after our dog for the day. We were really impressed to hear how much time they spent with our dog. The staff there are great - definetly dog people. Our puppy was very well behaved when we got home and you could tell he had a blast and received more than enough exercise. They even administered his medication. Would definetly recommend this place and we will for sure be back.

It was stressful looking for a place to watch our dog on short notice on a long weekend in Banff, but this place came through so well! Communication with Mel over the phone went super smooth. The place is roomy, lots of dog goodies to purchase (the owner actually suggested one and my dog who’s a notorious chewer hasn’t murdered it yet!). I know my dog had so much fun cause he slept good that night which is a lot to say about huskies. Would definitely trust them again with my dog whenever we’re in Banff. Highly recommended!!!!
