Friendly service and easy to get refills and food even with covid precautions. They took special care when our hamster passed away, even though she was not a patient there and were able to preserve paw prints that will forever be cherished. They have provided excellent care for my cat with congestive heart failure, who has exceeded all initial expectations and still plays as though he was a kitten many years later! Highly recommended!

Affordable - vet spoke to us about what was actually necessary for our kitty's neuter which about halved the price of the procedure. Very kind with our cats (to be fair they love people so they weren't difficult) and got their needles very quickly. Would recommend for skittish cats - the feline-only room is a great thing.

Good and bad with Blue Cross Animal Hospital. The good: Staff are kind and compassionate, clean and well laid out office, they have the facilities to do major procedures onsite. The bad is that you never see the same vet twice. This doesn't lead to good care of animals with ongoing issues.

I had really great treatment by them and have been with them for a number of years. They have spayed/neutered my bunnies successfully. (it is a bit pricey, but they were well cared for so it is worth it to me). I adopted a rabbit a while back with a bad infection and they went out of their way at times to help her. I always seen the same vet for my rabbits too (except when I had an urgent issue and my usual one was out of town).

My labrador was very ill on Christmas Eve a few years back and my normal vet was out of town so had to call Blue Cross Animal Hospital. I begged for someone to come out to the house saying I would pay anything and was told no that I would have to come in and see Dr. Monk at 1 pm. At 1 pm my 7 month pregnant daughter and I took our dog Tucker in as he had to be put to sleep, we knew what his illness was and it had got so bad that there was no alternative and we didn't want him to suffer over Christmas. Dr. Monk showed no feeling at all, told my daughter and I to lift the 105 lb Tucker up onto a stainless steel table with no help from him whatsoever and there he put Tucker to sleep. It was the most upsetting thing to go through with a vet who seemed not to care one little bit. It is the worst thing ever to put your pet to sleep and I will never forget what an absolutely horrible ordeal it was with Dr. Monk.

There is only one doctor there that is not condecending and judgemental.The frontline staff are very friendly and helpful. So this review is not a reflection of them at all. I would give them 5 stars. They are overpriced and make you feel like you have to do everything the recommend for your pet even though it may not be needed.
