If I could give zero stars, I would!!! Should be ashamed of themselves! I am by no means a veterinary professional but between the internet and friends with pets who have diabetes, I could have diagnosed my own cat with the disease. Instead, multiple tests, unnecessary x-rays and $1000+ later, I was told what I already knew, that my cat did in fact have Diabetes. I went in VERY CLEARLY explaining the symptoms to them. Symptoms that any veterinary professional should have be able to pick up on. It is quite clear that they just wanted to squeeze as much money out of me as possible with little concern for my cat. The doctors there are just cold and heartless. Take your fur-babies elsewhere!!

Very rude sarcastic receptionist, I would be very wary of bringing your pets there. Also cannot keep track of calls and disregard missed calls to have "never happened". Really daunting to deal with, seem dishonest. Do not recommend going here.

Scam artists who care more about money that your pets health. Just take your pet to Bristol Animal Hospital and save yourself the grief and stress that these greedy vets will put you through.

Dr. Thompson is a superb vet. Have all three cats in at once and they actually purr through the examination and the vaccinations. Excellent experience for them and us. Fees are most reasonable.

We had a scare when we first got our small pom phoebe who had eaten some unhealthy food for her , they were nothing but reassuring. It's one of the few vets that doesn't make me feel like I'm part of a moneygrab. They show compassion and honesty when speaking about vaccinations and medications and made phoebes routine visit a breeze.

We've been bringing my dog to them for 2 weeks now and they've charged us thousands. We tried to call to ask a quick question about our dog and they demanded money for a phone call. This place is a pure money grab. Don't use them !!

Took our money for several examinations and medication, told us it was a skin condition but did not even know or tell us our cat Sparky was dying of feline leukemia. Sparky died two weeks after final visit with this vet.

Been going here for years now, for my cats and dog. My dog is not stranger friendly, but they work with me to ensure her time there is as stress free as possible. They are accommodating in ways other clinics are not. When I had to put my cat down, we were met with sympathetic attitudes, and caring staff. They really do care. One of the few places in this area that has a vet that specializes on birds. Amazing help was given by this clinic when I brought in a baby wild bird. They helped me with costs with care for the bird and took the time to explain in great detail what they were looking for (injuries, internal damages, development issues), what to watch out for, and how to care for the little one. I appreciate the team of vets here and all that they do for the pet community.

A really shameful clinic. They unfortunately play on the owners ignorance and use scare tactics to make you pour all your trust in them when they really don't deserve it. I wouldn't even bring my dog here for a routine check up. They recommend and push yearly vaccines which are really really dangerous for your pets health and should NEVER be recommended by any vet with even the slightest capability to do their job properly. They also gave my dog eye drops for an infection that I later found out she does not even have and the eye drops only irritated her eyes and made them crusty when we've never had issues with that before. They only want your money and they have no shame in using your sick pet to bleed you dry thinking that you're just doing the best you can for your loved one. Run far away from this place and warn everyone you know.

All of the staff have been wonderful however we would like to give special thanks to Dr. Carl and Vet Tech Avery. You helped make a difficult situation bearable and we really appreciated your respect, compassion and sensitivity. Thanks, it made a difference.

Was a client there, until yesterday afternoon the receptionist put me on hold for more than a minute, then picked up, and while I was explaining my dog's issue, she put me on hold again, rudely cutting me off. There is no way I'm staying a client there.

I have been dealing with this Meadowvale Vet. Clinic and their main location, Glen Erin Animal Hospital, for almost 15 years. I've unfortunately had to euthanize two Shepherds with them, one at each location, due to advanced-stage cancer and I felt that given my dogs' conditions, they were well treated at both locations. Dr. Thompson and Dr. Denstedt were a great help and they gave me the most comprehensive and cost-effective treatments, given both of my dogs' terminal health ailments. They are now seeing my eight year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback and they've also done a good job in treating him. Dave Grittani

Went to buy pet food today,and was informed that i had to order online for curbside pickup. I explained that lockdowns were lifted, and was told they had created their own policy for entering the store.Policy is no one enters without an appointment. Over the top to say the least.After 12 yrs as a customer i will never return.

I do not recommend this clinic, had a bad experience with our visit today, considering the amount of money you pay for service the vet was cold and rude to both our gentle senior dog and to my daughter who took her in for the visit.

The veterinarians here are all so nice and knowledgeable. I feel like my dogs are well looked after when I'm here, and I dont feel pressured to buy into any unnecessary and expensive procedures/medications. I have had some items forgotten by the staff, causing me to have to return to the clinic after my visit to follow up. The girls at the front are ok, but not as nice. The price point is also pretty good. Overall, I would strongly recommend going.

Ha so this vet tried to scare me into doing a tooth extraction on my 4 month puppy he had a crack Caine tooth. Well its been a month later and the tooth came out and its fine now. She even try to charge me an extra fee for finding me a dentist which I told I could find myself but she insisted that she find one to rely the information (however the dentist would charge me for a consultation anyways so what info is she telling?) I am pretty sure she's a smart doctor but preys on your wallet.

I have been visiting Meadowvale Animal Clinic as well as its joint Hospital (Glen Erin Animal Hospital) for over four months now with my kitten, Sophia for her appointments. She has been seen by Dr. Julie Denstedt at every appointment. I have so many positive things to say about this veterinary business, but above all else is the amazing service and thoughtful care that Dr. Denstedt provides to Sophia. Dr. Denstedt is highly accessible, engaged and provides a thorough overview of the medical assessment and takes the time to talk through the treatment options and associated costs. She is a great listener, and you can tell that she really cares. One thing that I thought was quite unique about the clinic was that after Sophia had been spayed, Sophia received a 'Certificate of Courage'. How sweet! The clinic staff are also very professional and friendly over the phone. They really do go the extra mile and I feel extremely reassured knowing that should Sophia fall ill, trusted help is only a phone call away. I would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Denstedt to any pet owner.

I am appalled by the level of incompetence and dishonesty on the part of the vets in this clinic. Here is my story: I purchased a 3-4-week-old bearded dragon that was active and energetic from Petsmart in the beginning of July. Despite my excellent husbandry (as I was told by the vets themselves before, during, and after the treatment process), he would not eat sufficiently in the days and then week following his purchase. Unbenounced to me at the time, he was displaying all the tell-tale signs of adenovirus (ADV), a virus commonly occurring amongst dragons who fail to thrive within the first 3 months of their life. This common disease, I later came to find out, has an extremely high mortality rate. Rather than bringing this to my attention early on, the vets proceeded to administer antibiotics 4 times (even giving an accidental double dose on the last admin as evidenced by the last invoice ml amount) to a malnourished, dehydrated, underweight, and weak bearded dragon without any concrete evidence of an infection (negative stool sample, inconclusive ocular examination, and no signs/symptoms of respiratory/skin infection). To the tune of $700, I was left with a dead bearded dragon. Had the vets told me in the beginning about ADV and it’s near certain death sentence, I would not have continued to pursue veterinary treatment with a prognosis so grim. Clearly, these vets have no scruples and morals as they deliberately withheld information in order to string me along to syphon as much money as possible over the 4-5 visits we had. I find it hard to believe that expert exotic vets would not make me aware of such a common disease occurring in young dragons failing to thrive. Very crooked and sketchy operation here! DO NOT BRING YOUR EXOTICS HERE!
