Here you will see all the reviews of people like you who consume the products of Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital (Veterinarian) in Argentia (Canada).
Right now this business receives a rating of 4.6 over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is basically the best one, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to give reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian is included in the category of Animal hospital.
Very polite people
These front desk and Doctors are so comforting when losing a beloved pet they deserve so much with what they do. I am so grateful to have gone to them for such a difficult task, they made it so much easier and yet peaceful truly grateful for them.
I love my vet! Although they are under new ownership, we have found that the quality of care is still excellent. The doctor always follows up with us after each visit too. I highly recommend Crescenta Canada.
Every body was very helpful and they give me appointment rite way for my ???? dog ????
They are simply the best, and can always make time for you . And they do not gouge you.
Fast friendly help, but seemed expensive
So expensive!
The doctors and staff are caring gentle, and trust that you know your pet. They take great care of us and I love that they treat so many greyhounds. We trust them with our grey!
Love this veterinarian office. Both of my dogs go here! My older dog went in because she was limping on her back leg pretty badly. Turns out it was early arthritis. With their help and the right vitamins, she is back to her happy self chasing her brother around the back yard.
Dr. Spies took a long time with my pet even taking him outside to observe him walking. I am very appreciative for his thoroughness and for showing sincere interest in helping my pet. Thank you Dr. Spies.
Mary was so wonderful in securing an appointment for our cat, who was suffering from an infection due to a fight with his roommate. Dr. Widdop, Madina and the entire team were friendly, professional and demonstrated care and concern. Our little "trouble maker" recovered quickly and is back to his feisty self. Will definitely recommended and seek CCPH out when the need arises.
We have been bringing our pets to Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital for about 20 years. We have always experienced fantastic and caring service from the staff and doctors. They have been there for us through good (healthy) times and some hard times with our pets. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! The staff and doctors love my pets as much as I do and always take great care of them!!!
I’ve been bringing my pets here for the last 18 years. Dr. Speas is THE best doctor, ever! But also a shout out to Dr. Dodson and Dr. Widdop. They are also amazing with my boys. They are all so caring. I adopted two boys a year ago after my sweet girl died of old age and tumors and Dr. Dodson gave me a lot of insight and pointers to understand and help them. The tech staff is also very caring and amazing. The ladies at the front desk are always very accommodating. Mary is the sweetest lady on the phone and in person. If you want a vet hospital to care for your animals to the best of their ability, this is THE place to go. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. ❤️
Absolutely wonderful care is provided to your pet cat or dog here at this facility. Staff is superbly thoughtful and answer all questions with patience and compassion. Highly recommended to all pet lovers in the Crescenta Valley.
I really like the staff here! Very nice. Normally my dog is very anxious during grooming/vet office appointments; however, my dog has the least amount of anxiety when she is at this vets office.
I have been taking all of my cats to Crescenta Canada for 12 years. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. Thanks for taking such great care of me and all my kitties!!!
I don't trust my babies with anyone else but Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital. They truly care about your precious furry family members.
I've used this vet clinic for years... the have always been great.
Dr Spees is the best doctor ever. The whole team at crescenta Canada treats me and my dog like family. They truly understand what customer service is about.
Friendly vet in the area. My brother's cat got in a fight with an animal. Brought him here.
A little bit scarry getting in and out with an animal on a very busy street. Staff was very helpful and vet was great. She let me video so I could review what she was showinge to do.
Wow! What a week. Both our cats became deathly ill. Two fur babies one right after the other. They took great care of the boys . Care was fully explained. Wonderful care was given. It's sill a bit of a mystery of the cause ( a lot of new factors introduced into our home) We were able to visit. That made us feel so much better! If you can, donate to charities that help pay vet bills, even a dollar. We were fortunate to be able to afford it, but many cant. PAWS is one.
I have been taking my dogs here for several years. It's a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. All of the staff are very friendly and show a lot of affection and care to my dogs. They are reasonably priced and I don't ever feel like I'm being sold on procedures or tests that aren't needed, but would get them more money. I have recommended Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital to all of my friends and family for years.
They are pretty nice but kinda pricey, there are probably better options around.
Employees are extremely nice. Doctors aren't bad either. They called me the next day just to check up on my dog which I thought was nice. I've only taken my dog here twice, but both times I had good experiences and would recommend them to any friends.
I've brought all my dogs here for the last 17 years.
They don’t even deserve one star !
Dr. Speas and his staff have been taking care of our pets for over 20 years. Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital is clean, well laid out and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They track when our pets need their annual exams and their immunizations and are very responsive when ever a question arises. In cases of illness or emergency, they use every resource to treat the problem. Dr. Speas holds pet seminars frequently covering important topics such as dental care and heart worm infestations. This facility adds so much value to the community and truly cares about the well being of all types of pets. Highly recommended!
I took my 7 Year old Maltese in for a slight ear infection. i was given antibiotics and they did not help much. 2 weeks later i came back with the ear infection worse and was given a steroid. which also did not work. i kept going and coming back for 3 months with no progress and $1000 of my money given to waste. They could not figure out what the infection was and gave the wrong medication which made the infection worse and stronger. Yeast infections in dogs are not suppose to be treated with a steroid but that is all that i was prescribed. Ever since my time here no other vet has been able to find an antibiotic strong enough to heal him and it has been over a year that he still has the infection. i now need to get him a full ear canal removal surgery which is very costly and i can not afford it. They say that they want to help animals be healthy but what they really mean is that they want your money and don’t care if your dog lives or dies. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE find a different vet please.
Staff was very sweet and caring with my pet. He was very scared and they went above and beyond to calm him down
We have been taking our pets to CCPH for over 20 years. Will never take them anywhere else. The Doctors and staff exceed expectations. They are simply wonderful!
Best veterinarians I’ve ever been too. Clean facility and short wait times. They are caring and compassionate towards your furry family members.

We just got a puppy and I had heard so many incredible things from this vet just from many friends and locals it was a no-brainer to give them a try. I called and made our pup's first wellness check appointment and the gentleman on the phone was very kind and professional. I was then sent a text with my appointment info, and a link to click on where I would fill in the patient's information prior to the visit. It was very straightforward, took a couple of minutes, and saves you all that time and paperwork at the counter (also kudos for the paperless, environmentally friendly system). When my puppy and I arrived checking in took 1 second. Their waiting room is very clean and I did not feel uncomfortable sitting in there. Our name was called and we were guided into a room where the lady sanitized the table in front of me and I noticed they were also playing relaxing classical music for the animals which was so adorable. She took the basics like weight, etc. and then we waited for the doctor. Dr. Baker came in and was so friendly and loving and amazing with our pup. Our puppy loved her. She was very efficient which I loved. Nobody wants to linger for long periods of time in a doctor's office (unless you - then ok), but I don't so I loved that she was efficient yet still ensured my questions/concerns were answered. We wanted to microchip that day and I was so nervous it would hurt our puppy, but she didn't whine or yipe, I was relieved. I can tell Dr. Baker is a total bada$$. Anyway, I left knowing my new puppy was in great health and was given tips on what to do keep her that way. Also, silly me forgot her vaccine information from the breeder, so we couldn't do shots that day, but they sent me reminders to get this information from me via text and email, I responded and sent them the info, and we made a new appointment to come back for her next shots. Overall I was very impressed with my experience here. I am looking forward to returning, and I know my puppy will be happy to come back too (she was wagging her tail for the staff when they were talking to her - which I did appreciate that they talked
Very nice and caring.
We have been going to Dr> Specs for many years and he is such a wonderful, caring vet. Abby loves Dr. Specs and the friendly staff. Thank you Abby, Debbie and Teddy
Such a great experience for us and Yoda! Thank you Dr. Monica Wehbe and Meagan! Gentle and carrying cat whisperers...
Great vets and staff. They don't nickel and dime you like other offices!
They fixed my gf's cat. He didn't die. 10/10 will return .
This was our pet hospital until this incident. One of the doctors not only charged me for useless tests but also misdiagnosed my pet. after contacting the owner, he strictly went by his doctor's side, even though I told him that I took my dog to another hospital, where they told me NOTHING is WRONG with my pet. At least they could have reimbursed me some of the money, but NO effort whatsoever. NEVER going there again. Would NOT recommend. I have a NEW pet hospital now.... and they are 1000 times BETTER than these. It's not very far from them, and if you REALLY love you pet, I would recommend you go to MONTROSE PET HOSPITAL on HONOLULU.
Take your pets to more experienced vets for serious issues.
Great staff and doctors.
Mary was so wonderful in securing an appointment for our cat, who was suffering from an infection due to a fight with his roommate. All staff are kind, Dr Spie is wonderful
Professional and friendly.
Most amazing doctors, nurses, and staff love this place so do my 4 dogs.
This is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. A good, quick Mediterranean menu, with Kabob plates and wrap type sandwiches. A nice lunchtime option.
Bad customer service. They padded the original estimate with a huge charge after it was already agreed on. Nothing in the dog's condition had changed. Looking for another vet.
we have had very good service there and have no intention of using any one else
Really good service.kind people.
All the Drs and staff are very experienced and treat you and your pup like family. Prices may be a little higher then other vets but the care and experience you get from the staff and vets are well worth it.
Awesome Customer Service, Friendly Staff and Great Care for Our Furry Ones
They are great! Always kind and you can tell they love or furry family members!
I have brought 5 pets here over the years .The vets are caring and explain treatment plans well .I feel the care is excellent .also I love that they are open late one night a week and have weekend appointments too .So convenient . I am so impressed by the way this vet practice has handled the Covid pandemic while serving my pets. Thanks to the team for the impressive planning.
This is a very caring pet hospital. The staff is friendly and compassionate. We have been bringing our pets to Dr. Monica Webhe for the last nine years. She is an outstanding vet. Her knowledge, warmth, and sensitivity are greatly appreciated by both of us, and especially our pets. There are also other fine vets on staff who have made all the difference on emergency visits.
We will be thankful for all you did for aur baby Choco.
From the front desk - to the vet techs - to the veterinarians... This Pet Hospital has the most professional, thorough and compassionate staff of any facility I've ever been to (and there have been a LOT!)
Dr. Speas and his staff were so informative and made the curb side drop off and pick up (due to COVID) very easy for their patients and their humans. Dr. Speas himself bringing down the animals to make sure we really understand what is going on with our furbabies. I was very impressed from 1st phone call to the very pleasant staff to picking up my dog and seeing Dr Speas help jump start a clients car! Thank you Crescenta Canada! You rock!
We have seen a handful of doctors at this practice over the years and have always had good experiences. We have been taking our two cats and pitbull to Dr. Wehbe regularly and think she is fantastic! She and the staff is always so kind and helpful. I feel full confidence in this team and you can certainly tell they are animal-lovers! They fuss and adore my pets almost as much as I do!
Great Greyhound docs, they do the two retired racer rescue dogs. Great service and easy to use app.
These Veterinarians are great. Dr. Speas is amazing and I will never take my pets anywhere else. Very good service and reasonably priced. Love you guys. 12/21/17 Update: These guys still have great Doctors and support staff. Very good balance of friendliness and professionalism.
The Doctors and Staff are very attentive and helpful. A good atmosphere to take your pet(s) for care.
Reliable work appointments, and great handling of our large dog.
Reasonably priced and always great with all the animals. Very nice staff.
Awesome care
I want my dogs to have the best care possible - so easy- I take them to CCPH ! I have been taking my dogs there for 10 years now and am completly satisfied. Thanking all the friendly staff and of course Dr Speas!
It was a great experience, even on a day they said they were slammed. Dr.Wehbe answered all of our questions and was very helpful to talk through any concerns. The way they handled my cat was very impressive, and I would recommend Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital to anyone with a furry friend.
Great people
Dr Speas, etc, are the BEST!!!
Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. They always take good care of my pets and I appreciate that. Keep up the good work!
Our animals have been coming here since they were babies. I wouldn't trust their health and their care anywhere else. And if I have to in emergency cases, I always follow up back here; the quality of care and service is the best!!!
They do a good job but they are very overlly priced. Very expensive place to take your pet.
First off I Wanna say thank you to this place for accepting our last minute urgent appointment just to help us out. The staffs are so kind and they’re so helpful. They treat dogs like their own dogs. Just love everything about them. Never going to other vets.
Great place for our loved kittys health!
I found this place after having a bad experience at another Vet Clinic. My experience here was 100% perfect. The price was reasonable and the service was perfect. All the staff are super nice and the Vet was the best! They took the time to get previous medical records from the various places I have been before seeing my dog. The Vet was very caring and you can tell he enjoys his job and wants to help your pet. He took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood the treatment directions. He also answered all my questions with grace. The Vet also took the time to personally call me later to make sure the treatment was working (which it was)!
The ladies at the front desk, the techs and the doctors at Crescenta CANADA Pet Hospital are very friendly and always willing to help. They always treat my pets as if they were their own, very kind and gentle. When I need an appointment because of an emergency they always try to fit me in. Dr. Speas and Dr. Widdop are the best.
The doctor and nurse are very friendly and patient. They work carefully and effectively. Greyhunyd's core is very difficult to cure, but Dr Wehbe cured Pat's core. Pat is getting more active and happier. The people working in front are also very friendly and helpful.
What I love most about Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital is their quality communication and responsiveness. This is so important when you have a pet that is not feeling well because you are looking for answers. CCPT has 7 day a week service, with multiple vets and staff. Even when I couldn’t get an immediate appt- I was placed on a cancellation list and was notified within 2 days of an opening. The front staff is polite and attentive. All of the vets we have seen have been great especially Dr Baghoyan who has taken care of 2 of our 3 dogs. She is thorough, caring and knowledgeable.
I walked in this morning for an emergency. My dog had a broken nail which was bleeding. The nurse turned me away because I didn't have an "appointment". I didn't know an appointment is needed for emergencies. She didn't even ask the reason for my visit. I took my dog to Big Tujunga Vet and they happily helped me with no questions asked.
Dr. Speas office is the best. Great care for my dog and reasonable pricing keeps me coming back.
First time visit. Fairly long wait due to emergencies so understandable. Staff was friendly, concerned and addressed my questions. Great vet. Will continue being a client.
Great place
My dogs are always treated well and the staff is very knowledgeable about the issues related to greyhounds.
All the Veterinarians are caring professionals. They explain what's going with your pet and are very patient in answering your questions. I would highly recommend them. Their staff is very helpful also.
Always clean, professional and accommodating. So glad I found them!
This vet office is a real treasure in our community. The level of skill is outstanding, whether it's an urgent emergency or a scheduled routine care visit. Every staff member is on their best game, and and results in the very best care you can find --anywhere! These folks have helped me stay sane. They are available-open 7 days a week usually. If you love your pets, you need a great vet. I am SO grateful for Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital!!
I (my dogs) have been clients for a lot of years and I have only good things to say. The veterinaries and staff are absolute professionals, aside from the fact they are very caring and one can tell that it comes from their hearts. Pictured is my latest GSD, over the years, they have also taken care of 4 other GSDs and a Great Dane. I would go no place else.
Great
my friend took her senior dogs she adopted and was very impressed with the care, service, front office and fees
The most Thorough exam and observation of my cat Reasonably priced Felt very safe with their wisdom and Technology Really sweet kind staff
This is the most wonderful veterinary clinic I have ever been to, they truly impressed me from the moment I walked in. Dr. Wehbe did an excellent job in helping diagnose a problem with my cat that arose from the error of another doctor at another clinic. She took her time to administer the proper tests and spoke both to me and my cat with great care. My cat’s condition involved nerve damage caused by a poor dental cleaning at a completely different clinic, who left me with no answers when I reached to them when the problem arose. Dr. Webhe confidently and knowledgably took the matter into her own hands, offering tests and solutions that were not at all offered at the other clinic, finally pinpointing the clear steps for treatment and further diagnosis. She even went the extra step to reach out to her friend who is a neurologist, offering to call me the next day with additional information and advice to add to her already thorough treatment plan. When she did call, her response was informative and let me know that she would be involved until my cat heals... I felt like the entire staff cared about my animal like their own, and the waiting room was filled with wonderful pets and their happy owners that outwardly spoke to one another about their trust and long time great success with this clinic. Quality here is truly over the top. I will never again take my cats to any other office. Dr. Wehbe, and their famous Dr. Speas (who has an area wide reputation as a beyond excellent vet) and the other doctors and entire staff are trustworthy and the best hands to put your pet in.
They care
Love the staff
Excellent and quality service and care. Clean and well cared for and all of the staff are very friendly. I truly feel like my dog is in the best hands here :)
They are pretty incredible here. About a year ago I had an emergency situation with my dog and his primary vet couldn’t get him in. Crescenta Canada was able to see him right away even though he hadn’t ever been a patient. They check up on him frequently. We recently took my other dog in and they showed the same professionalism towards her getting her in quickly without being a current patient. All of the staff is so helpful. They also let you go inside with your pet if you wear a mask which helps ease my worry.
Sad to see so many ???? sick loved ones
Love it. Very gentle with my Lola
Got me in right away. Tnx. The best office music, very soothing when ur anxious about your sick animal.
Thank you for seeing our cat for vaccines.. Dr Webhe and Jennifer communicated well and easily, and covid protocols were in place to keep us all healthy. CCPET always goes beyond expectations and are a valuable resource in our community. Thank you to all staff for being there!
Great staff. Wouldn't bring my cat elsewhere!
Caring, efficient and overall awesome. I love this clinic.
Same great place with the same great pet care !
They care so much for the animals and the the staff is so very nice.
Due to the pandemic my cats were taken to their appointment by office staff while I waited in the car, which was convenient. The vet called me on my phone and we discussed my concerns. It was a very professional set up, and I was very comfortable with the whole experience.
This is an amazing place! All the doctors, the staff are genuine and caring and helpful. They are open seven days a week and have an in-house lab for most tests which really, really helps. The vets are thorough and kind. They follow up on your visit to see how the patient is doing. I had to have my dog put down and they made it a very safe and caring environment which was such a big change from the last time I had to do that somewhere else. I can't praise them enough. Go, you will see for yourself.
Needed to find anew vet when our vet retired. Friend of daughter suggested Cañada. Have been bringing Jackie there for several months and though the drive is a little far the fantastic people there make it worth it. Have no plans to look for another vet. As of august 2021 still going to Crescenta Canada and have no plans to look for another vet as they have been taking care of our Jackie with the best of care
Dr. Haygan Baghoyan and staff are fantastic. Our French Bulldog was neutered and Dr B constantly checked on him and called. They made the whole process enjoyable for us and our puppy. Thank you!
Adored this place for my first dog- he was treated wonderfully. However after adopting my second dog who is one year old and has spinal damage requiring him to use a wheelchair- the vet has remarked not once, but twice, that we may as well put him down. Mind you- this is a puppy with no other health concerns that leads a very happy, healthy life outside of his somewhat limited mobility. Really disturbed and unhappy with our last few visits.
rip off bunch of thieves, they don't know how to cure a simple ear infection
I have taken my dog there in the over the last year, in on one occasion their medical records were completely in accurate. They have had the wrong date for the issue that was appearing on the medical records when I told him Evan the office manager that it had happened on a different date he kept dancing around the issue. I have called them over two weeks now and have left numerous messages and I keep getting the runaround. I am very disgusted in the way they have handled the situation rather than picking up the phone and calling me back to rectify the situation Evan who is the office manager has been giving me the run around and keep telling me the office administrator is going to call me back and they never called me back. I don't trust their judgment the medical records for this dog or the situation at all. I think they're trying to discriminate against me and my dog. I've asked on numerous occasions to get the medical records from the doctors notes and they keep refusing to send them to me when I have a right to get them. I've never met an office treat customers with such disrespect and ignoring them. Also I don't trust their billing process that tell you to go to Billing for one thing how many come back to pick up your dog other bills are on there without your permission. All they have to do is to have someone call me and go to the medical records to rectify the situation that's all I ask for them..
Good, but VERY expensive. I really hate paying more for care for my dog (as much as I truly love him) than I would for care for my child! I'm not kidding - many of the tests they ran on our dog cost MUCH more than they would in a human clinic! I don't begrudge the vets here making a decent living, but many people can't afford care for their beloved pets because the prices are so high. I start to think that they are just in it for the money rather than because they love and want to help animals. And I just don't like that. But many other vets are just as expensive. I haven't found one I truly like yet.
SCAM Scam scam This is the worst place you can take your pat They charge you for things they don’t tell you They just do extra Procedures and doctors visit so they can charge extra extra extra money this is a scam don’t you ever bring your pet here
Friendly, caring, animal-loving, multi-generational family owned pet hospital. I drive a little further to get there because I trust them.
I truly can not speak highly enough of this office. We have been coming for years and recently one of our treasured greyhounds was diagnosed with bone cancer. From the diagnosis through the ups and downs of the quickly degenerative disease they were there for us. Dr. K was truly phenomenal and always took her time with us or called back if we had questions. The front office was exceptional too, from fitting us in the schedule, getting meds and offering every option that might help our situation. In the end we had an unexpected emergency and the office was approaching closing. Gwen of the front staff ensured we could get in and see a vet. Our regular vets, Dr. K and Dr. Speas were away at a veterinary symposium but Dr. K called and we spoke about the options. Dr. Amezcua talked us through our options but it was clear it was her time. Sara and Jess who assist the vets came and said how sorry they were and we never felt rushed. Our family has felt from the beginning of the diagnosis to the end that this experience could not have been better for our dog or us as her caretakers. We were respected, informed, heard and truly cared for. As for the financial aspect, I feel they are quite fairly priced and I have found them priced less than other vets we attended previously. I know the care my pets receive there is truly the best -- especially their knowledge regarding greyhounds. They are not like other dogs in so many ways and their experience with Greysave and other rescued greyhounds is unparalleled.
This vet business operates on a commission based compensation program, so its vets are interested in what they can sell a customer not the care of a customer's pet.
Great place where they really care for the pets
The staff is SOOOOOO friendly and caring Thank you for making Lola feel at home when she visiting you guys :)
These people truly care about the people and animals who pass through their doors, and it shows. Excellent vets, excellent office staff.
Really good as always.
Took my kitty who sustained an altercation with a raccoon here as my usual vet didn't have any openings. They have the ability to see "walk-ins" (pets with no appointments). Very efficient curbside service here. I was VERY impressed with efficiency and service and use of technology. And I didn't feel at all like the doc was upselling. The doc and staff kept me informed and I really appreciated the time the doc spent speaking with me on the phone while I waited in the car. Had a follow up appointment 2 weeks later (reduced cost). I was so impressed of the ability to see unscheduled pets, efficiency, professionalism, courtesy that I am now going to take my pets here in the future.
Great customer service and medical procedures! Always satisfied
Thanks to" Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital team Charlie, our Baby Labrador feels very comfortable with Them!!!
Dr Speas and the Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital has been our veterinarian for the past 15 years. He and his staff have provided very caring and skillful services to our dogs during these years. I highly recommend Dr Speas and the entire staff at Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital.
Highly recommended
Very friendly and professional front desk, knowledgeable vets and good follow up
I brought my dog, Rasso, for a second opinion to Dr. Speas, who claimed he is able to repair his leg’s fracture. For that purpose he inserted a pin inside the bone and the joint, and so began the nightmare for Rasso and us. According to my research this pin technology, besides being an old method, is absolutely not appropriate for a tiny, six pound dog with very tiny bones. Instead there is the plate method, which is screwed in the broken parts and holds them together. Therefore there were many complications and Rasso was very close to lose his leg, but two further surgeries in the Animal Specialty Group hospital have saved his leg. This whole process lasted six months, and it cost us $12,000, which was from our savings for a planned home renovation. If Dr. Speas would have cared about my dog and told us that he doesn’t have the expertise, the cost of one surgery in the Animal Specialty Group hospital would have been just about $4,000. Finally in his lawyer’s letter he says: “Mrs. X knew that I am not an orthopedic specialist…,” and that he informed me of all possible complications and noted there is a possibility the procedure will fail (which is a lie!). This means: 1) Mr. Speas admits he performed a surgery that is beyond his expertise. 2) Mr. Speas expects from clients to sense his knowledge and expertise limits, and don’t rely on his words. “… a crooked leg is unlikely to greatly reduce the value of the dog unless it is a show dog…” was the answer to my claim that my dog’s leg is crooked, his joint is damaged, he is not able to take long walks, and will be limping his whole life, and in accordance to ASG sometime in future he will possibly need another surgery. Hence pet holders have little chance in court, I would be VERY CAREFUL when choosing a veterinarian. Under California law should your dog die because of vet’s mistake he owes you only the market value of your dog. According to the court decision Mr. Speas didn’t have to pay me any penny for his mistake.
I have been a client at Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital for about a year and a few months. Typically the care my dog received from the vets and their staff was great. However the last 3 visits have left me wondering about the care my dog has received. My dog recently had an emergency surgery on his tail, which was performed at another veterinarian hospital. I was bringing my dog in for follow-up appointments to have his bandage changed and have his tail examined every 3 days as advised by Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital. I was told his sutures should be removed 10-14 days after his surgery. During my first follow-up visit post surgery, my dog was seen by a vet and we had a great chat about my dog's care. Each of the additional follow-ups my dog was seen by a vet tech, as the staff referred to these visits as "tech appointments." From my conversations with the staff, these appointments were really nothing more than a bandage change, that cost $50 each visit.... If I asked if I could speak to a vet about the visit, I was told that a vet did not see my dog. So by the 4th follow-up (bandage change) I was already over $200 in charges just for bandages. When it was time to remove my dog's sutures, I was told my dog's tail was still a bit inflamed so I would to need to come back 3 days later. This time they did not re-bandage his tail. But being that his tail was visibly red, inflamed and most likely painful, I cleaned and bandaged it myself when I got home. Not sure why they didn't re-bandage it? The reason I was told by the vet tech was that a vet said his tail "would need to air out." When I asked if I could talk to vet, they said a vet did not see my dog... So where are these instructions to "air it out" coming from? Also why you wouldn't wrap a still tender wound on a dog is beyond me. Now comes the day to have my dog's sutures removed. It's another "tech visit" so my dog is not going to be seen by a vet. I brought my dog with his tail bandaged. Once his sutures are removed and he is brought out to me, his tail is not bandaged and is visibly red, inflamed and is bleeding. I ask for the tech to take him back in and bandage him, which they do. Once he is returned to me, I asked again if I could talk to a vet and out came the dead-tone response that I would need to schedule a vet appointment to speak to a vet... Then the office called (I believe he said his name was Evan?) and informed me that, take a guess everyone! I would be charged $50 again for the bandage change... After explaining my experience from that visit, I was told by Evan that there was likely scabbing that came off and that explained the bleeding. When I asked if I could speak with a vet, I was told again that a vet did not see dog, since it was a "tech visit." So once again, where is this information coming from! When I asked for the charge to be waived since my dog was brought to me bleeding and should have been bandaged to begin with, he refused. So you allow your patients to leave in a worst state than they were before the visit? Great work! I asked if a vet could call me back, as I was not happy with the care my dog received. Evan said he would note that in my file and have Dr. Baghoyan call me back. I didn't receive a call. As veterinary professionals, I would think they would have not let my dog leave their facility in the condition his tail was in, but it's another $50 for them and I will not be coming back.

Dr. Spese has been taking care of our family pets for over 20 years and is still providing care to our four legged children. Need I say more?
Professional, courteous, kind and efficient toward both people and the animals. They don't nickel and dime you like some vet clinics and believe me that is important to my family these days. They always are able to take care of any problems our pets have and are very efficient about it. We feel very comfortable going to Crescenta Canada Pet Hos. Prior to finding this vet, we had a heck of a time with other vets/clinics and the extra fees and also trusting what was going on. You definately can trust the vets and staff at Crescenta Canada.
Great friendly staff. Good vets, always on point
Professional, friendly and takes great care of my dogs!
