Excellent service. The vets are very compassionate and wonderful people who care for their patients and are great with providing information regarding diagnoses and treatment options. I love the visit to the house as I cannot drive and this is such a convenient service, not stressing the cats (apart from being poked and prodded by strangers). The only hard part is that the fees are larger than with other vets, but it is expected when the vets provide convenience as their service. Additionally, the vets have no problem ensuring you have your questions answered and do so in the meeting (not rushing a vet visit) and via email. I highly recommend this service.

The greatest service I've ever received from a vet. They are always on time for appointments and all the Drs are extremely knowledgable and helpful. I've already recommended them to a few friends who are equally impressed. The cost is reasonable and well below what a normal vet in an office would charge. When my cat had surgery recently not only did 1 vet call to check up but 2 called throughout the weekend. Unbelievable service! Also, when we were away on vacation they even emailed us to keep in touch. Look no further for great service for you and your pets.

This was my first visit with a Veterinarian. Being a feral rescue kitten, my Hooman didn't know how my first visit would be. Staying in close proximity of my stuffed birdy and in the comfort of my home, I was very pleased with Dr. Destinee DVM and was treated very well with lots of care. Our experience with Vets To Go and their "Paws to rest" private at-home pet euthanasia service was amazing. From the first contact with your company, being greeted on the phone by a compassionate and kind woman who walked me through everything and booked our appointment, to the vet coming to our home to take care of our sweet guy's last moments, we felt at peace with our decision to use your company and thank you for being so good to us. Dr. Charlene was so sweet, helpful, and thorough and we couldn't have asked for someone as great as she was, given the difficult situation. She made the entire process a lot easier to handle, giving us the reassurance, space, and comfort we needed. To have the chance to say goodbye to our old dog in a peaceful and comforting environment where his final moments weren't being stressed out at the vet's office is a gift we'll always cherish. We began using Vets to Go when car travel became too stressful for our beloved cat, Natasha. Right from the onset I was struck by the professionalism of the Vets. They are very warm and compassionate. I cannot say enough good things about them. We had to say goodbye Natasha in May. Vets to Go made the final arrangements, and we said goodbye comfortably in our living room. It was so peaceful and classy. Vets to Go also arranged a cremation for Nat, with pick up right afterward. Even the cremation service used by Pets to Go, 'Part of the Family', is so classy and understanding. Blown away! Pets to Go is an awesome service. It costs slightly more than a regular vet visit but not so much more that it is outrageous. The Vets are very friendly and approachable. We had many nice conversations and even a few laughs, especially with Dr. Gillian!! These folks truly love animals (and their owner's!) and it shows! The Vets show up right on time. There is absolutely no waiting around, stuck in an exam room with an anxious pet. Prescriptions are easy to refill via a phone call and usually arrive in your mail box within a couple of days. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Pets To Go!!

Oliver is my dog, but also has been our office dog since he was a puppy. He is now older and recently had leg surgery. His mobility is terrible and the thought of taking him back to the surgery clinic to get his bandages off and staples out was overwhelming since he would not let us pick him up. On top of that my car is in the shop and its -20 and snowing! Not sure how I could have done it so we brought the vet to our home. They approached it collaboratively and stated that they would speak to the regular clinic and would continue to help with convalescence when needed. So happy!

We had to let our dog pass this week after a hard fight against cancer. During this fight we had very bad experiences with vet clinics and we felt he hadn't been treated kindly or compassionately. Through word of mouth we heard about Vets To Go and I gave them a call. Let me just say straight from the get go this team of professionals were so sweet and understanding. I ended up changing locations for the procedure and then later had to change the time for the day. They were so accommodating and had no issues switching up their schedule for us. When they came we had planned to go in our backyard and say our goodbyes however our Bandit wanted to stay in the garage where he was more comfortable. We are doing renovations and our garage is littered with trimming and half painted cabinets. These doctors got right down in all the mess and administered the medicine wherever he wanted to be. They talked to my 3 children and were very empathetic towards them and the situation. I truly appreciate that there are people like Vets To Go out there for sad times like these especially during the current pandemic. To be able to come to our home and allow our dog a peaceful and comfortable passing is such a blessing. Thank you so much Vets To Go and I will recommend you to everyone we know.

It was my first experience with them and although ended with heartbreakingly losing my sweet girl, the Vet could not have been kinder. She was professional, gentle and wonderful. She came on extremely short notice because of the situation which was great! She made a horrible hard situation a bit easier with her mannerism and treated not only my cat but my emotional mess with heartfelt kindness. They are so compassionate and devoted to their work. Having them come to the house made tests and checks so easy. My cat, Odin, was traumatized after having to bring him into an emergency hospital, I vowed I wouldn't do that again. Eventually I had to put him down. They came to my home, we were both comfortable and I got to hold him without feeling rushed as I said goodbye. It also gave his brother an opportunity to say goodbye, which was really important to me... I Loved how she protected Loki's space and time to say goodbye to his brother. I will never forget that. When the time came and we needed to put down our senior dog we contacted VetstoGo to do an at home euthanization. They were very accommodating to book us and the vet was outstanding. I had the unfortunate experience of my beloved cat falling ill swiftly and unexpectedly. I took him home from the bad-news vet appointment with the intention of spending a last day with him. He deteriorated so fast that I feared he would die on the way back to the vet (he was struggling to breathe). I called Vets To Go, and they quickly and efficiently arranged a vet to come help us. I also arranged a private cremation for him at the same time. The vet was so kind, and explained every step of the euthanasia process to me. The pet cremation service they use was very professional. They took my kitty away in a little basket with a blanket. He looked very cozy and peaceful. I felt that they respected me and Maxwell the whole way, and I was treated with empathy and kindness by everyone. I also paid exactly what I was expecting to pay - no surprises. They were happy to quote their prices on the phone. If you have to go through this unfortunate experience, I highly recommend this service. They made a tough situation as easy as possible.

Disappointed... Used Vets to Go for over 6 years. Recently, the lack of availability and reducing their service area has forced us to look elsewhere for in-home vet care. Very sad that such an amazing business model fell so short in a time when it could have excelled. Sad that yet another company used covid as an excuse to not offer the same quality of service we all came to expect... Sure, they have a great clinic at their disposal but that is exactly the opposite of what made this Vet so great. Stress reduced animal care in your home. Not loading up a cat and dog to travel across the city for a check up. Truly sad.

I am in Edmonton, so I have not had the pleasure (displeasure, in reality) of bringing any of my 5 cats in. I did stumble across them though looking for a place that would deliver a certain kind of cat food. Delivery was free (with a minimum amount) and super fast. The last order ran into a few hiccups, due to the current crisis, but they were super communicative and kept me updated. Can not recommend them enough.

I'm sorry to see these type of pet clinics around, they don't even care for animals. I was 10 min late for my appointment and they cancel my sick dog's appointment. I called Castleridge Veterinary Clinic and they visit my dog in 20 min with much better care and much affordable rate than Vet to go clinic!! I highly recommend vets to go and if I could give 100 stars, I would. last year I was faced with the most difficult time in a pet owners life with their pet and I chose to have it done in my home where Marco my dog, best friend and emotional rock would feel comfortable and at home, Dr Patty came to my home and was so professional yet personable too. She took time to meet Marco and show him affection, she explained the process and made sure Marco was well sedated before making the final step, this was done to prevent any discomfort. She was so kind and caring, she even had tears in her own eyes when she let me know that Marco was gone, I have a new dog now and I plan on having Dr Patty care for this one as well. Thank you Dr Patty for making an extremely difficult time and decision a little easier.

My little boy cat Nasdaq wasn’t acting really strange the other day. He couldn’t get his back legs to work and was slipping and sliding all over the floor. He’s really frail and I thought he would do better with an in home visit than a stressful trip to the vet. I wasn’t able to get an appointment right away but it was worth the wait. Dr. Cheryl was amazing. She was so kind and gentle with Nasdaq. It was good to have her observe him in his own surroundings. It made for a better diagnosis. I would highly recommend her any time.

It was just so nice to be able to do something so stressful and emotional in our home, where our cat felt safe and comfortable instead of in a vet clinic. I had to use Vets To Go for euthanisia of one of my little dogs a couple weeks ago. I rebooked the appointment once when I got cold feet and must have called their number 10 times to talk to them about the process and maybe rescheduling etc. I was so nervous and heartbroken and the girls on the phone were always so wonderful with me. Dr. Becca was the vet who put down our sweet girl and honestly the most compassionate person I could have asked for. It was a peaceful experience and I wouldn't change a thing. I can't thank her enough for being so amazing at her hard job. We unfortunately look like we'll have to be using their services again for our other senior pup shortly but I know we're in good hands. The aftercare with Part of the Family is wonderful too. They came to pick up or pup for cremation and was friendly and didn't rush our good byes. For a tough situation,(I certainly don't wish on anyone) Vets to Go and Part of the Family is the best option.

Top Notch Staff for a Sad Day! We put our 18 year old dog down on June 5th. I promised my daughter that he could pass away at home rather than our regular vets office. I contacted Vets to go and right from the time I called them from the time we said goodbye to our little guy, they were so attentive! I had Dr. Gillian come by yesterday to do an exam on my 10 year old cat. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very good at what she does. My cat is not a fan of car rides, so Vets To Go was a huge life saver for us! She is also very timid, and Dr. Gillian was so accommodating of my little furbaby's needs, she even brought all of her equipment up into my room to make my cat more comfortable with having the exam done. Unfortunately we had to use the service of Vets To Go when our 15+ year old cat became sick with another bout of her chronic condition of pancreatitis. Although she seemed to be having a better day the day the Vetranarian was scheduled to come to our home, we sincerely hoped she would recover once again. I was a long time client of vets to go, and had them look after my 2 cats and 2 young dogs. Over the last year, I think their quality of service has decreased significantly. I never see the same vet, and compared to a couple of years ago - the vets seem very rushed. They are quick to charge you an arm and a leg though. Recently, I called them to come and look at my two pups who caught kennel cough. The vet said one of them had an infection that required medicine to be ordered in. Almost one week later, no meds - my wife had to spend an entire day convincing them that our dog needed something while we wait for meds because he was getting sicker and sicker. Finally we paid more money to get an interim medicine in him. It was too little too late, our beloved 2 year old pup passed away the following day. The kicker? The medicine vets to go ordered us came the day after he passed away. (I understand he could've passed from a number of complications, but seriously - it shouldn't take a week and us demanding meds to get help)

I really believe Vets2go is a great option for many pets. We originally were interested in vets2go after finding out our favourite vet Dr. Smith was now working here and our cats were getting increasingly stressed out at vet appointments, unfortunately Dr. Smith does not work out of our part of the city. Dr. D who does is amazing and really went above and beyond for our cats and I feel genuinely cares. With that said our cats really did not do well with a stranger in their house touching them and doing check-ups so we decided to stop using vets2go. I definitely recommend if you feel your pet would benefit from at home health care.

Had them see my dog to put him on a medication. After looking at him for a very brief few seconds, with no testing whatsoever, i was told that if I didn't allow her (the vet) to euthanize my dog on the spot, she would call the humane society and my dog would die alone. I begged the vet to at least let my dog live one more week with me so I could spoil him for his last days and she said no. She would call if I didn't have him die right away. My only choice was to have him die in my arms or die with strangers. She was incredibly insensitive. When I asked about the medication I wanted him to go on (before the final ultimatum), she said the medication was highly ineffective. Upon his death, I used my university account to look up research studies and discovered that the pill she claimed was bogus was actually a highly beneficial medication for the vast majority of dogs. She killed my dog for convenience and easy money and I'll never be the same. Even vocalizing my desire to end my life if my dogs life life ended prematurely only resulted in this vet giving me a condescending glare. I hope this company crashes and burns

This review is based on prices. I'm sure the service is fabtastic but for a lower middle class family, the price for at home euthanasia is horrific. We have a 17 year old cat who's suffering through the last days of her life and wanted to have her humanely put to sleep so she wasn't in pain and discomfort. She hates the vet and we didn't want to make her last moments wrought full of fear and horror. The vet we usually go to we paid under $200 to get our big dog put down AND cremated, and we keep the ashes at home in a tasteful urn. But your prices are a lot higher and don't even include a complimentary disposal fee or cremation with it. This has made it incredibly difficult for us to choose between paying bills in order to keep our house, and letting our animal suffer by either living out the rest of her life suffering, or making her last moments full of fear and unrest, or paying for a service that's seriously over priced. Even if you're trying to make up for your cost of travel and equipment transport, I highly doubt it all costs that much. I'm disappointed to say the least. I really wanted my cat to be PTS in a place she was comfortable in, but instead I'll have to choose other options. You guys are providing a great service, but your prices are a little too rich for the average Joe. (Just like most vets but hey, to each their own.)

I had to make a very very hard decision few weeks ago. I had to put my lovely cat to sleep. I decided to go with Vets to go/ Paws to go because they come into your house and it's very convenient specially if your loved one is afraid of traveling. My cat went to sleep around people who loved him and in his home a comfortable friendly place. Their service was excellent. The doctor was very friendly and patient. She made sure my cat is relaxed enough to give him the final injection. And she gave lot's of time to say goodbye. She didn't rushed us. After she was done, she sent in the lady who took the body for cremation. She gave us lot's of time as well and she was very friendly and nice with us. A week after our appointment i received a letter from them with my cats ink paw print and some very nice words. It melted my heart I couldn't stop crying.... Thank you Vets to go for your amazing service and thank you for taking care of my love.

We were having the very difficult struggle whether or not to euthanize our very loving and loyal dog of 15 1/2 years and by chance I saw a car with the Vets to Go Logo and came home and researched their services.
