My partner and I have been taking our "fur children" to this clinic over the last 5 years. Our cat and dog have been very well cared for by the exceptional staff. I strongly recommend this outstanding clinic to any new or concerned pet parent(s). Their team is beyond awesome!

If they were accepting human patients, I would be the first in line. Best vet office I have ever been to. I have been hesitant with vet offices since having a bad experience a number of years ago, but this office and the staff were angels. They not only made my senior pet feel comfortable, but they made it a comfortable environment for myself as well. The vet is welcoming, knowledgable, and I could tell she loves my animal. They are always kind on the phone, and they are incredibly fair and honest about what they suggest the animals needs. 20/10.

We've been to a few vet's in this city. I don't care if your fur-baby is 3 weeks old or at the end of its life(and Mayfield has helped us with both!)...yoire NOT going to find a better place to take your pets! The staff here care more about the animals that are brought in to be seen than the people bringing them in, and they deal with the people in the Best manner I've seen. The doctors and nurses here are on top of their game and second to none. This is the ONLY place Our furry family will goto when they're in need of the attention WE don't know how to provide. Our family can't thank them enough!

Our cat has been cared for by VCA Mayfield for 11 years. They have gone above and beyond to make us and our kitty feel safe. They take the time to explain and have always been transparent with us regarding procedures and cost. Each individual staff member that I’ve interacted with is obviously passionate about the work they are doing. I am extremely grateful for the high level of care and compassion they’ve provided all these years. I can’t recommend enough!

Initially I had taken my kitty to this clinic because i worked nearby... many years and multiple moves later, despite it being a long commute, we still come back. I cannot say enough great things about the staff here. We've gone elsewhere, and there is nowhere else that compares. Ill keep coming back because its obvious the staff truly care and there is no doubt in my mind they always have my pet's best interests in mind.

After many disappointing attempts at finding a vet for my Coco, I happened upon Mayfield Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Lee. Her obvious love of animals is apparent from the first moment she interacts with you and your pet. She takes the time to get to know them, and you during her initial consultation and remembers the little details in subsequent visits. I truly feel she's an ally in monitoring my dog's health. Dr. Lee didn't give up in finding a treatment for Coco, when I believe other vets would've recommended expensive procedures and tests instead. I highly recommend her and the rest of the wonderful staff!

We tend to take our cat to the emergency vet (same professional group) as he has underlying medical issues. However, we do buy his food here and the staff are always most kind and those who know our pet, often inquire about him. We have used their veterinary services in the past and have never been disappointed. I would totally recommend.

Now, we don't even live in town, but compared to other vets we've tried because they were closer, we prefer to make the commute because of the excellent care and service we receive here. Their staff has always been professional, friendly, and it is evident everyone who works there truly loves animals, and wants to do what’s best for them. Kayla made it impossible to book the appointment, they clearly don’t need the business. I’ll be going to see the specialist at Pulse instead. My cat went in for a dental procedure, but also has chronic ear issues. Dr. Lam performed the procedure, and also followed her for weeks after for her ear issue. Her and her staff definitely go above and beyond, making sure the issue was resolved. She is so kind and caring towards my cat. I am beyond impressed with the level of care my cat received!

If I could give Dr Lam more than 5 stars, I would! She is extraordinary and I have full confidence that she loves my sweet little dude almost as much as I do. He has a heart murmur and my vet suggested taking him to her for his teeth cleaning because he's higher risk. Sure enough, he did end up having some issues while under and Dr Lam contacted me immediately to explain everything. It turns out he has feline asthma! I can't imagine I ever would have known this otherwise, and now he's getting treatment. The entire office seems to sincerely love my handsome boy, I have no hesitations taking him back because I know they're all treating him with love. I honestly can't say enough great things about VCA.

My three puppies have gone to VCA vet and always have an amazing experience. They have been Spayed, and have the teeth cleaned there as well as routine check ups / vaccinations. One of my dogs has allergies and they have been great at helping manage them! We also get all our food and treats there! Thanks guys!

The best vet in Edmonton. The vets love your animals just as much as you do. After our dog had cancer, and they helped him live a happy four more years, we would never switch. It's worth the drive to the west end. Our dogs love going there! And I've noticed police dogs go there--they must be good!

Great customer service and great pet insurance. Downside - the insurance is only for this place any not any other vet clinic. Another downside - due to unfortunate circumstances I couldn't keep paying my one insurance that was through VCA because my credit card was maxed. They only allow you to pay via credit card for their insurance. Why? A lot of people have no credit cards or have dealt with bankruptcy or are really struggling right now. So now my cat doesn't have insurance she really needs (teeth cleaning every year, xrays and stuff covered, unlimited visits, some medications covered, etc.). I asked if I could pay by visa debit and they do not take that. So I am extremely unimpressed and I changed my rating because of this. I will be looking for somewhere else to go if I can find somewhere that has insurance I can pay for another way. It's really unfortunate because my cat still hasn't even gotten used to them even though I have been going there for three years now and they do treat her really well there. I would like to stay but it would be dependent on if they let me pay by visa debit or taking it out of my account.

Unfortunately, the reason for our visit was a very sad one: our beloved family dog had to be put asleep. I couldn’t be there in person, but my family told me that they received the most caring and compassionate service, while our Dog Duna was treated with love and respect. My part in the process was to book the appointment and hence I would like to use this opportunity to thank Jo, the person who spent about a half an hour with me on the phone and was extremely patient and understanding when I struggled to provide all the necessary information and details. We are long time clients of Mayfield, going back to their previous location and several previous pets. Martin has always been excellent with appointments and dealing with some of the challenging health issues we have had with some of our cats. Annabel and Heather are also excellent vets that have looked after many of our previous and current cats. The vet techs and counter staff know our pets very well and are always helpful and friendly. We have adopted rescue pets from them as well. We have had our cats live long healthy lives due to excellent veterinary care from Mayfield.

This is a facility that we were referred to by our regular Vet. Dr. Lam is very knowledgeable and does some specialty dental work as well. I was totally impressed with her mannerisms regarding the way she handled my dog. She genuinely loves the animals that are being cared for there. If you have any dental work that needs attention for your dog or cat give these guys a shout.

Found out they won’t scan found dogs for Microchips. As they “do not do that”. Police had to be involved to get the dog back to his family. Was very alarmed hearing this as we all encourage people to go to the nearest vet clinic and get the dog scanned for a microchip.
