My dog took a tumble on Saturday morning while we were in Olds visiting my in laws. Dex seemed ok but as the day went on was getting worse. About 430 it was clear that he needed some vet care, even if just for pain killers. His foot had become slightly swollen and was developing a limp. We phoned the clinic at 445 to see what time they closed and if they could see Dex. The clinic informed us that they close at 5 but that they would wait for us. We drove the 20 mins into the clinic and were greeted by very friendly staff. They seemed very concerned about dexter and did inform us another emergency had come in but wanted to make dexter as comfy as possible. I explained that he isn’t very dog friendly so might be better in a room. They got him right in and again apologized for what could be a bit of a wait. When the vet came in (Louisa) she was extremely friendly and caring. She made sure to get as much info as she could (since Dex isn’t their regular client). And asked if it would be alright to bring dexter to the back to do a thorough exam. She let us know that dexter had some swelling but was not in pain when she examined him. She gave us some options and prescribed some anti inflammatory/pain killers which really helped dexter through the night. Upon checkout she even filled out my pet insurance form so I could get it right in to the pet company. I couldn’t get over the reasonable price and friendliness of the staff. The only place I’ve ever felt like my dog has truly had 100% attention has been our regular clinic. But I felt that even though dexter isn’t a regular client they still really cared about his wellbeing. I could hear Louisa talking to him in the back and keeping him calm and telling him what a good boy he was. It was really sweet. Dexter is doing much better today. He woke up and seemed to be walking better. Of course when he went out first thing in the morning he took off running and ended up making it a little bit worse again (still way better then Saturday). He seems to be on his way to recovery. We will be touching base with our regular vet sometime later next week just to get a recheck to make sure he is healing well. I would 100% recommend this clinic! Thanks so much!

A huge thanks to Doctor Paul Owen! My dog got very sick while camping nearby in Burnt Timber. We drove into cell phone reception and phoned the on call phone number at 10pm. Explained the situation and the doctor met us at the Sundre clinic. He was very helpful and gave my dog the attention he needed. He got a complete examination to diagnose what was wrong. My Dog received 3 injections and was given medicine to take home to fight an infection. My dog couldn't walk and was extremely tired and out of it. Improvements in his health were shown that night and by morning He was almost back to normal. I'm happy to report that 4 days later he has made a full recovery and is back to his highly active 3 year old self.

Out camping. My neutered dog mounted a female in heat. And he got a raging boner. With no outlet, the raging boner lasted for hours. Called the veterinarian to find out what we should do. It didn't work. So we drive in and showed up with no appointment to help my dog with his raging boner. In less than an hour they had us in, James Bond sedated (the name of the rescue dog. Now known as James Boner) and between the vet and I and 4 clamps, his Viagra nightmare was contained. I love the staff her and really appreciate everything they did. Thank you so much for helping out with my dogs dinky problem!!!

Great service. We called after hours in a panic when our pooch ran through a barbed wire fence while camping and they got us in right away. Very friendly staff, inexpensive (considering she needed sedation and surgery) and we were back in the car and on the road in just over an hour. Will definitely be saving their number for future emergencies and sharing with all our camping friends that have pets.

Great place, I had heard good reviews from a few people in a dog park in Calgary about the clinic so I drove out from Calgary with Bailey my 11 year old yellow Lab to have a lump removed on the inside of his eye lid. The staff were great and Dr. Haley made me feel that Bailey would be and was well taken care of. Everything worked out great and I saved about 40% compared to the vet in Calgary. Thanks again!

TO ALL THE VETS ( Hans, Haley, Louisa) who for the last months worked diligently to clear up Shadows Chronic Ear Infection, (Shadow is Twenty years young ). It was a marked improvement but not a solution to preventing its enevitable return and antibiotics were exhausted.Hans on Saturday perfomed and Ear AblatioEye Enucleation and Basic Teeth Cleanin.Shadow came through the surgeries and now one week into his recovery he is doing VERY WELL AND SHOULD MAKE A FULL RECOVERYTHESE VETS ARE AMAZING AND MORE THAN REASONABLE FOR THEIR SERVICES.Ablation and HANS
