Dr. Lesniak at the St. Albert Animal Clinic has been the primary vet for my dog for several years now. I am grateful for Dr. Lesniak's in-depth knowledge and ability to explain what is going on. My dog came in with IVDD several years ago, with a loss of motor function in his hind legs. Dr. Lesniak was quickly able to diagnose the problem and present several options for treatment. Thanks to Dr. Lesniak my dog has nearly fully recovered. I highly recommend Dr. Lesniak.

Can’t say enough about her down to earth compassionate care she has given to our fur babies. Always open and realistic with diagnosis and treatment options and it is apparent she treats her patients as if they were her own. The staff are friendly and efficient even during these trying times. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Recently my only complaint is the wait times even when making an appointment. The last three times we’ve been in, we didn’t get in to the vet for at least 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. This never used to be the case in the past. We’ve been bringing our Yorkie Poo here for over ten years now and will continue to do so.

It was so reasonably priced ($260 total) for my giant Newfoundlander and got in within 15 mins of calling and explaining what was going on. I am so great full. And so is bailey

Since our first visit to the St Albert Animal Clinic, we have been treated like family at the St Albert Animal Clinic. The amazing veterinarian, Dr. Kennedy Brooks, has gone out of his way to look after our little dog. This was clearly highlighted when our dog was the victim of an attack by a large, vicious dog. Dr. Brooks arranged for our dog to be cared for at the best veterinarian hospital in Edmonton. While our dog was recuperating there, Dr. Brooks checked in with us constantly to ensure everything was going well. He answered all of our questions about procedures that were being performed, and he exhibited an amazing amount of patience and empathy. We felt so comfortable knowing he had our dog’s best interests at heart. When our dog was released from the Veterinarian Hospital, Dr. Brooks made a point to fit Scout into his daily schedule so Scout could continue to heal. Once again, the amount of patience and understanding Dr. Brooks showed us, helped to reassure us that our dog was in great hands and we knew he would heal properly. Our little dog was excited to see Dr. Brooks and the other members of the clinic, and they treated him with the love they would give to their own pets. These people truly love all animals.

Staff are EXTREMELY RUDE. I started going to this vet clinic because my dog’s vet moved to this office, and she was AMAZING. She no longer works there but they have all of our records on file, so I never changed vet offices again. But recently the past couple of times I’ve been there have been awful. The staff at the front desk are so incredibly rude and do not treat you with respect. Don’t take your business here.

would give 0 stars if i could, Misdiagnosed both my dogs. I paid close to 500 for misdiagnosed issues. took my dog to a new doctor and 45$ later they gave me result that were completely different than this place. I went to another doctor to verify new results and 55$ same result as the last place. So i basically wasted 500$ on this place where i could have went somewhere else for a lot less money They also wanted to charge me 500 for an ultra sound and another 400 for urine testing. I went to park west vet in edmonton ( West edmonton ) They did ultra sound for 50$ and another 100$ for the same urine testing. Owner would not refund and own up to the mistakes they made. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST IF YOU WANT YOUR DOG TO LIVE

Amazing clinic. I called them when my kitty was having a very difficult time, and they immediately brought her in. I unfortunately do not remember the Veterinarian's name at this point, but she has been the best supportive doc. They let me take my baby home for the night, and then I brought her in the next morning and the doc said she couldn't sleep a wink worrying about my kitty! Eventually, everything worked out right. And I even got a discount. My kitty and I are very grateful for this service! She is happy and healthy and I would suggest this place forewords and backwards.

If we could give this clinic a 10 it would be a 10+ as we have never dealt with such a caring and compassionate team. The first time we had an experience with this clinic was many years ago when we found a very injured stray cat in our neighborhood. We had never been to this clinic before but was desperate as our previous St. Albert vet did not have the time to look at this stray. We had heard wonderful things about this clinic so we called them and they told us to come right in. Dr. Kelly Burgess attended to this poor cats needs and fixed up his shattered hip and many other issues he had from living on the streets. So needless to say we adopted this gentle cat and transferred all our other pets files to the St. Albert Animal Clinic as we were amazed at the big hearts that Dr. Kelly Burgess and her amazing staff have. Now it has been many years that we have first attended this clinic and have had the most exceptional care for our pets needs and of course the dreaded heartbreaking goodbyes, but the team has been there for us and our other family members with tears, hugs and especially compassion. They go above and beyond with their clients who they treat as family. Thank you for everything and you are all definitely a number one in this city and especially in our hearts. I will be changing vet clinics as of today. I have had my latest dog here for all of her 12 years. The staff are great with her, however, She has an ongoing skin irritation that I was told will never fully go away, and that I could return to the office for re-fills of the medicated cream whenever necessary. I used up a full tube in about 2 years, as the issue is sporadic, and I went to get more today, and was told that I needed to make an appointment for an exam again, as it had been 2 years since I got the last tube. I explained that I was told by the vet, because it will be an issue with her for the rest of her life, that I could come to the office for refills. Still was told no. This has happened on 2 occasions now. This is a cash grab for new exam charges each time, and I am not putting up with it. I would understand if it was a new pet, new issue, or new clinic, but we have a long standing history. They are already one of the highest charging clinics in St. Albert. They don’t need to further gouge their clients.

After dealing with another vet in St Albert and costing us a fortune, we still didn't know what was wrong with our little girl(Shihtzu). We wanted to find another opinion on what was wrong with our little girl. I found this vet online and wanted another opinion. Thank goodness I did that, Dr. Burgess found the problem by performing tests and put her on meds that work. It's only been a week, and she has improved SO much. Dr. Burgess was sensitive to what we have been through. I seriously thought we were going to have to put her down, thinking it was cancer. Turns out her immune system is down and getting bacterial infections because of it. She is on meds for her Thyroid and a antibiotic that is working, she is constantly improving. Love this vet. THANK YOU

I brought my dog for a set of shots and could hear him squealing in the back this is a 110lb dog that doesn't do that, I recently brought him back to see if it was a one time thing, my dog knows people he was aggressive and fearful, the vet gave no time to really check him and even made a point to stay back and looked from a distance. Then made me pay completely useless, didn't go here avoid at all costs.

Yesterday- Sept 29, 2020 we put our Maltese -Rimbey- to sleep. After 15 years of dedicated, professional, compassionate and loving care provided by Drs.
