The staff have consistently treated my very gentle dog with aggression. He has never lashed out or been agressive in 7 years of his life, and now 2 times going to this 'clinic' specifilally Dr. Robyn Kennedy and Dr. Ian Gibson, he has come out shaking, ears back, and in clear distress. I wouldn't trust any of the people at this 'clinic' to treat any stressed, injured animal. They very obviously don't follow any kind of pain protocol, or check paitents history. If a vet, Dr. Robyn Kennedy, doesn't know how to handle an injured animal that is in very clear distress, they shouldn't be a vet.

We've consistently had things explained to us and been given options on treatment approaches. Dr Cozens is a great small animal vet, and AH Tech Robin has consistently gone the extra mile.

Top notch group of people. I've used Ranch Docs for both of my dogs and a horse. They will come to you if you can't get to them. Professional, caring, honest and straight shooters. They won't try and sell you on something you don't need and they won't judge you and your decisions yet they are always caring and sensitive to your needs and situation. From livestock to the four legged members of the family they are IMO the best clinic out there hands down.

Ranch docs is awesome. They have such a friendly and capable staff- and hands down the most affordable vet care in our city. They also have an animal nutritionist- and can advise you on exactly the type of food, the amount, based on your dogs unique conditions. My pets have never been healthier including my sphynx cat. A small drive towards the industrial park, and well worth it.

I'm editing my.post, took my dog for ear cleaning, I told the vet what usually work for my dog, he decided to do it another way. Well, the meds for her ears only worked for 2 months and usually it works for a year or so. Over $200 for a visit that didn't do my dog any good. I'm very disappointed.

We brought our dog Sully here. He was 13 years old and 165lbs. His hips had degraded to a point Nothing could be done. The staff were extremely nice and they helped us through a horrible day. They didn't take advantage of our grief. They gave us a room for me my wife out 2 adult kids and our daughter in law to be with Sully. They let us take ad much time as we needed, and explained clearly what would happen. I would like to thank the staff and doctors at Ranch Docs Veterinary services for everything they did for us on that terribly sad day.. We appreciate everything you did. Thank you..

My moms dog had gotten into something he shouldn't have. They were professional, friendly, and very helpful! We had never been there before so Ripley was a little bit nervous, but afterwards he came back to me wagging his tail. They are amazing and took us in as soon as we got there, as it was kind of an emergency. Might consider changing vets for him and my cat as this one is much closer!

I personally will never go to ranch docs... I called them after hours and she diagnosed my 6month old Sphinx with brain damage over the phone and told me I should pay $308 emergency fee to have her monitored overnight for seizures and turns out she was fine... I couldn’t believe how insensitive and unprofessional they were. Idk how you can diagnose brain damage without even seeing the animal... turns out my cat was just super scared and she just needed a bit to calm down.

What should have been an enjoyable visit to help my cat turned very sour when I slipped on a patch of ice that they failed to clear,s or, mark off in any way shape or form. I ended up tearing 2 tendons in my shoulder, and am still waiting for the MRI for my knee. Upon dealing with their insurance company, and providing all the information requested, and the reports about the 2 torn tendons in my shoulder, my claim was denied as Ranch Docs does not feel that they're responsible for my accident. Even though they failed to provide a safe property. Now, today I received a letter from them denying my cat any procedures, and dropping me as a client. How disgusting can this place be??? Stay away from Ranch Docs. You, and your animals will be safer.

Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life, as well as those in my family. We had to say goodbye to our beloved 15 year old Chihuahua Dachshund. After 15 years together, I had to be sure it was the right decision. Justin allowed us as much time as we needed to review our dog's quality of life, and to answer each and every question we had. He treated our loved one as his own. Not once did we feel like we were taking too much time to discuss or ask questions. We left sad, of course, but confident that we made the best decision. The process was quick, smooth and painless. This made it much easier on us, and allowed us the confidence that our loved one went peacefully, surrounded by love and affection. Prior to this, we had to bring our 10 year old cat in for surgery. Again, staff all made sure we covered all bases and questions prior to starting the surgery. Our cat came home afterwards, and showed no signs of pain, an healed quickly. Today, he shows no signs that he needed surgery in the first place. The level of care and affection as well as the time allowed to be sure about any decision is comforting and reassuring. Thank you to all Ranch Docs staff. Thank you for not making it all about money, and keeping it about the animals. It is refreshing to know that you care for our loved ones more than making a quick buck. Hard to find that these days.

After save okotokes saved my dog as no vets were open during start of panic of covid and no vet mentioned ranch docs and I never heard about them. My dog has addison and I was referred to them to be closer to coaldale. Today when I got a call to say the steroid was unavailable and to call other vets to find my self. I had been going here for 2 years and would of given 5stars plus and after being told today her steroid is on backborder and I needed to call other vets to get her medicine. I found to day the front end staff have changed and only reason I gave 3 star is vets are amazing. In tears I've been thinking of putting my dog down as it's not my job to find medicine, it's the clinics job...Before I would of recommended, but today I would not.

I was visiting Lethbridge from BC and had been waiting on a specialist referral from a different vet for almost 2 months, but since my family has used Ranch Docs for years we called to see if they could see my dog and send referrals out. They got us in the next day (between Christmas and new years) and sent out multiple referrals. I heard back Jan 3, the first day back to work from a specialist and got him an appointment with a highly rated doctor that I’m very pleased with. Horse over sedative, horse walked etc. One half hour later the horse was to sedated to load. We asked for someone to help and she said it's 5 pm and we are locked up. Fortunately, an employee saw us then the vet saw us and helped, both had saw us as they entered their vehicle's. What was a disaster turned out well, even though the horse was still sedated.

Ranch Docs as always is amazing! I had taken my husky to them through her diabetes and they were compassionate when it came time to let her go, we also have had our second husky there for regular care (and one corn cob incident surgery as she managed to find a chunk somewhere) Our 2 kittens have had all there care with them, and most recently they were again amazingly compassionate with the very recent passing of our 13 year old lab mix and one kitten who we loved very deeply. First time going to ranch docs was with my 14 yr old dachshund he was in alot of pain the vet did tests on him to figured out what happend and why, he was very informative of what my boy was going threw due to age and not being able to do alot. We had made the hard choice to put our sweet boy to rest, the staff are AMAZING my dog loved them felt very comfortable during all three visits ** some may say three visits are alot but its only because i made the choice to try medications to help my boy who has lung cancer and bad shoulder pain and it didnt work (as he refused the medication) and he gave us 2 more options and we needed time to think about what was best for him, so the third visit is when we said goodbye to our sweet boy HIGHLY recommend this vet to everyone

I’d like to leave 100 stars if possible. The staff here is amazing. They helped our little coco with her urinary tract infection off the start and were extremely helpful with battling her kidney disease. Today we lost our fight with this terrible disease and our little coco went to be with the angels until we see her again. Ryan,I hope I have his name right was a major help and I cannot heap enough praise on him. he told me the way it is and I appreciate that. I recommend them over any other veterinary service in Lethbridge as too many seem only interesting dollars than our little friends.

Left waiting in the examination room for over 20mins...again, with the excuse of an unexpected emergency and they apologized...again. As I was waiting, the examination room was notably dirty at 10 a.m. The floors did not look like they had been washed in a very long time and their was something splattered on adjacent walls. I asked him to look at my dog's ears and was advised that they were very clear throughout the ear canal and to keep doing what I was doing to keep them in such good condition. Now, 5 days later, he has a full-blown ear infection which makes me think the instrument the vet used was contaminated, likely from a previous examination if the room was an example of their cleaning/sterilization practices. I will not be returning but am writing this review in hopes that they improve the level of cleanliness at their facility for current/future clients and/or before something worse breaks out through cross contamination. On a better note, the vet was very thorough and professional. Too bad the facility does not reflect this.

My cat had a UTI and I wanted him checked asap they were super busy but they managed to check out my cat and get him some meds that he liked taking and gave advice about dietary changes that will help him. 10/10 recommend this place! My cat is happy again!

Our experience was phenomenal regardless of the loops that covid threw us for. It was hard for my anxiety to allow my pup to go unaccompanied, but I was happy and relieved to see her coming back to me wagging her tail and with a pep in her step when the veterinary technician took her back and the veterinarian brought her back. The technician had a warm, happy, and welcoming demeanor when she introduced herself to us, as did the vet when he spoke to me about my dog's health and veterinary treatment. I am highly satisfied and I am greatly looking forward to our follow up care!

As always, a great visit to Ranch Docs. They were super upfront about everything including the price and best course of action to deal with my hounds issues. Dr. Justin stood outside in the snowstorm to explain everything to me as throughly as possible, as there is still excellent covid precautions in place so i couldn't go inside. My hound also needs surgery soon for a small lump and Dr Justin was very honest about the procedure and how long it will take and that it was not urgent but highly recommended that he gets his lump removed. No pressure to do anything and made sure cost was included in explanations. For the exceptional level of care provided to my dog, the price is very reasonable and doesn't make me hesitate to take him to the vet whenever needed.
