My cats have gone to Properties Animal Clinic for 36 years, almost my entire life! My first cat started going there when I was only 4 years old. I have known Dr. Morley for as long as he's been at the clinic, and I have only amazing things to say about him. My cats have given him some interesting cases over the years, and he has worked tirelessly to make sure they all got the best care possible. He's very honest and straightforward, offers the best advice possible, and answers all my many questions. He does not push things that are not necessary, and always makes sure he gives you the information you need to make the right choice. He's also been there for me for some of the worst days of my life when it was time to say goodbye. I feel like he's part of our family! The staff are always super friendly, and everyone is very knowledgeable. My cats mean the world to me, and I trust Dr. Morley with their care. I would never consider going anywhere else!

With the last of the stitches removed, I am very happy to recommend Properties Animal Clinic after our experience with our senior dog, Haven. On top of their compassionate, attentive care, they were transparent and informative which allowed us to make the best decisions for my pup that worked for us. These last few months have been a roller coaster, with a pancreatitis concern, a surprise cancer diagnosis (all gone thanks to some incredible surgical work by Dr. Costa!), a raisin trail mix debacle, and finally, FINALLY having her large, uncomfortable cysts removed. We now have a happier, healthier senior lady and we are so grateful for the team at Properties and their ability to tackle all of these challenges AND deal with all my phone calls. We've not been anywhere long enough to have a regular vet, but we will absolutely be returning with the rest of our critters. Thank you, Properties!

I have been a very long time pet parent & client at Properties Animal Clinic - from the previous Vet on Whitehorn Drive (1981) and have continued, many critters later and my dogs have been seeing Dr Morley from the time they were first with me - My oldest was 3 months old, he is now nearly 4 1/2. Couldn't be happier with Dr Morley's care and the care and friendliness of his staff.. Some have come and gone to be replaced by new staff - equaly amazing - Emily at the front end - I swear she recognizes my voice.. She sure shows her love of animals.. They all do. My big guy is a real wimp - not ready to warm up to Dr Morley, however always is on his best behaviour. My younger girl, an epileptic shepherd cross. has had some trials and issues... Dr Morley takes really good care of her (Dusty too) and is so calm in his approach. I truly feel that they all have my animals' welfare foremost. He did suggest when I got Pearl that I might consider pet insurance for both. I took the first 30 day trial for free... and am glad he suggested it.. if only for Pearl, even though Dusty hasn't had need of it.. I would highly recommend Dr Morley and his staff..

No matter how big or small my issue Dr Morley always takes my concerns seriously as well as they alway have open appointments for any emergencies that have arises. I first got Teeka as a pup in 2015 and phone MANY different animal clinics in the Calgary area to find a vet for her. When I called Properties Animal Clinic Emily took the time to answer all the questions that I had and then asked me questions about Teeka. She gave me information that was important to being that first time puppy owner. She was not just interested in getting Teeka booked into a appointment and getting off the phone. The call was not about the money at all. We talked for about 20-30 mins and I felt that she really had the best interest of Teeka in the call. The first visit there with Teeka was just like walking into a family's place. Everyone working that day came over to meet Teeka and I and introduced themselves. Dr. Morley was just fantastic with Teeka. He gave me a full timeline of what things Teeka would need to get down and the costs that they would be. He also came me a lot information about her breed and what I need to be aware of. The next few visits there Teeka couldn't get in the clinic fast enough to see all of her human friends. Around 4 months old Teeka got into some medication, very stressed I called Emily to see what I should do. As they were not set up to look after this kind of thing she referred me to the C.A.R.E. center. She called them and told them that I was coming in with Teeka and what had happened. I call Emily back 3 or 4 times as I was not able to find the clinic and every time she was there for me until I found it even though they had closed 20 mins earlier. Emily followed up with me the next day to see how Teeka was doing. After a 5 day stay in there Teeka had to go to follow-up blood tests weekly for a month with Dr. Morley. With in a few hours Dr. Morley would call me with the results. At 8 months old Teeka was hit by a car and died. When I call Emily to find out about getting her cremated she was awesome. The whole clinic signed a sympathy card for me. A year later I got Shtiya and went back to the clinic with her. We have been uneventful so far. I do know that if anything happens the whole staff will be there for Shtiya. This is one of the best clinic in Calgary and their compassion for the animals above any other.

I've been bringing my dog to Dr. Morley for 13 years now. From major issues (like a badly broken leg) to the day-to-day vaccinations, she's always been well cared for. And I appreciate having the various levels of care discussed to sort out what's best for me and the dog. They're not pushy and always friendly. A great choice in the city.

I phone to get some prices on how much it would be to look at my dog who had diarrhea. I usually visit this vet for my dogs regular shots. I phone and asked how much it would be for the check and then I asked how much for x-rays. The girl on the phone laughed at me and said "your dog won't need x-rays for diarrhea". I then explained the whole story that my dog had ate something she shouldn't have. So after being laughed at I asked for the price of x-rays. She said she could not give me a price. I then asked why, she explained that there are different types. I asked her worst case... she eventually gave me an aprox quote. It really seemed like I was asking for a lot... I work with customers all day long and have to quotes everyday, I don't see why this was an issue for this individual. I want to know a rough cost before I have to pull out my wallet. So after this phone call I had to go elsewhere. Please take me off your mailing list as well. Thanks, and sorry I was a bother.

We are a first-time puppy family so weren’t sure what to expect with a trip to the vet for our first checkup and vaccines. From the initial call back (I had left my contact information a few hours earlier via the website), to the friendly greeting at the office, to the way Shannon and Dr. Morley engaged with my daughters and answered their questions, to the gentle manner each staff member had with Toby, we felt absolutely taken care of as a family. It turned out our puppy had a mild ear infection and I appreciated how Dr. Morley gave us two options regarding how to treat it and the one of his assistants clearly outlined the costs associated with each. It left us feeling knowledgeable and respected- like we can trust Dr. Morley’s best interests for our pet and pocketbooks. We left feeling we’d struck gold to find such a great vet clinic- and only 5 minutes from home!

Dr. Morley was very gentle and caring towards my cat. He gave me a lot of helpful information regarding on how to take care of my kitty. What I did not appreciate at this clinic was the 'push' I received from the RN into receiving all these shots that I personally did not want my pet to receive. I kept refusing 'nicely' but she couldn't stop 'pushing' me in the absence of the doctor. I had to say NO straight up and finally stopped. Also, the quote I received over the phone regarding the shots I wanted my kitty to receive did not match the price at the clinic. I kept telling the RN that this was the not the price I was told over the phone. I was forced to receive the shots because my kitty had already received a full head-to-toe exam and the exam was supposed to be waived as a first time customer. Therefore, I had to get the shots done so they could 'waive' the exam fee or else they would charge me full price for the exam, which cost more than the shots itself. I was very disappointed and vowed never to go back to this clinic. I hope people choosing to go there learn from the mistakes I made which was not to have a written quote from the clinic before showing up at the clinic. It was just their words against mine.

Dr Morley and staff were amazing with my small dog! My dog had a huge neck abcess which ultimately needed surgery. All the staff were so helpful. Shannon took their time explaining and giving instruction for care and what to watch for. I also had a terrible time with my pet insurance and Laurie who works front desk was so helpful with sorting things out! I would reccommend this clinic to all my friends with pets!

I had to make the unfortunate decision to put my 11 year old cat down. The staff is VERY VERY thoughtful, considerate, and sympathetic. They made the process as easy and as painless for me as possible. I got his ashes back along with his paw print very quickly. Less than a week. The whole staff signed a card and sent it. Ive put animals down before but never ever received the support and condolences from the vet and the cremation company before. Gateway is incredible! 10/10 recommend. If I do ever end up getting another animal this is where I will be going. Very caring of the animal and you. I LOVE that this vet recognizes that this pet is a member of your family. They do it for the animals and not for the money. Thats what matters to me most.

An extremely professional and caring clinic. Alway so helpful on the phone when we need to order specialty food for our greyhound. Our dogs are well cared for, especially our greyhound who has food allergies and needs allergy shots and medication. Any tests that are needed are always discussed fully with us before we decide the course of treatment. Blood Work that indicated serious toxicity in our Pomapoo was thoroughly investigated by Dr. Morley and his staff. After questioning us, we realized our Pomapoo was eating the chives in our garden which are toxic. Once they were removed she was back to her old self. We love the recent updates to the clinic which make it a bright and comfortable place to visit. Thank you Dr. Morley and staff for going out of your way to make sure we have healthy and happy dogs!

A week ago, I had to let my cat go and it was a sudden decision because he was dying and I didn't know that. Gruta was abused by his previous owners and became a homeless cat because their house was burnt and they left without asking about him. We needed a few years to get his full trust because he was terrified of people. He was fighting most of the time with other male cats and got many wounds. Finally, about 2 years ago, we neutered and adopted him. He became a relaxed and happy cat. Gruta meant a lot to us and his departure was unexpected; however, Dr. Morley made Gruta's departure a peaceful experience. It was very painful to see my cat leaving this world but it happened quickly and peacefully as if Gruta couldn't wait to rest in peace. I love this clinic and its team because they make us feel we are part of a family. This was Gruta before and after adopting him

I appreciate the follow up phone calls, and efforts into dealing with my highly aggressive GSD/Malamute mix with behavioural issues. Dr. Morley and his efficient team have offered myself and my pets a first rate, personal service with exceptional medical care over the last few years. Recently I went there for my dogs annual check up and vaccines and following an extensive exam, Dr. Morley recommended some dental work. I knew a scale and polish was in order but I wasn't sure about the dental x-rays. My dog showed no signs of being in pain or having an issues, he still ate well and chewed on toys and bones without complaint. As it turned out the x-rays were very beneficial. They showed that my dog had two fractured teeth below the gum line, something which couldn't be seen even with a professional exam! I am so pleased I took Dr. Morley's advice and after the surgery my dog acted several years younger. I guess he was in some pain, but because he wasn't crying and was still eating I assumed all was ok. Thank you Properties, the work you do is priceless.

I have been going to Dr. Kent Morley for about 17 years. In those years he has looked after 7 dogs and I would never go to another vet. Out of those 7, 4 have gone to doggie heaven and the compassion that is shown from Kent and his staff are unbelievable, they send a sympathy card and make a donation in your pets name. I also bred two of my dogs and I recommended the owners of the pups to Properties Animal Clinic. My 3 dogs now are happy and healthy and all due to the Properties Staff!

I first came to Properties Animal Clinic in September of 2013 on the sad occasion of having to have my elderly cat Mina euthanized. Dr. Morley and the entire staff were so kind at this difficult time. I have been bringing in my new cat Dennis to the Clinic for annual checkups these last two years. Dr. Morley is thorough and gentle with his examinations, which a street-cat like Dennis seems to appreciate. Dr. Morley also jots down his recommendations concerning any questions I might have regarding behaviour, diet, food choices, etc., on Dennis’s chart and sends a copy home with me for my reference. I really appreciate the good care provided by Dr. Morley and his staff and the friendly atmosphere at the Clinic.

We had an awesome experience with Dr. Morley and the rest of his staff at Properties. My cat needed dental surgery. Dr. Morley was great throughout and called me several times during the day of surgery to let me know what was happening with my precious Squidward Tentacles. Also wanted to note that Covid constraints are challenging for all, and this clinic is dealing with them safely and effectively. I will definitely go back!

We got our senior labradoodle Minnie for almost 3 years now and have been at this Clinic ever since. Everybody, the staff and the doctors are very friendly and very kind, not just towards the animals. What I probably like the most with them is the circumstance that the actual costs have always been under the estimate. I'd rather be quoted a bit higher and be prepared for the worst, instead of receiving a big surprise after the procedure is done. The other positive reason why we proceed going there, is that Dr. Morley is not rushing us to do anything. His gentle way, how he treats our old lady, makes us come back. Even though we live way down south of Calgary.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr Morley for almost 20 years now. We currently drive halfway across the city to see him and would not even consider using anyone else. We have had 4 dogs over that time period and all of our dealings with him have been fantastic. Our 2 Border Collie/Lab crosses (Jessie and Sydney) both lived to nearly 15 years old and through the many issues and injuries over the years, Dr Morley was there. 2 years ago we adopted a Cocker Spaniel (Emily) from a rescue society and she had an eye issue(cherry eye) that was repaired by the vet that the rescue uses. Unfortunately, there were further issues and we took her back to that vet as the cost was covered by the rescue society. I really didn't have a good feeling about seeing the other vet and Emily's reaction when I took her back in confirmed my worries. Against my better judgement I let that vet fix the issue for a second time. Sure enough a few months later the problem reoccurred. Then I did what I should have done the first time and took her to Dr Morley. He fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost and 2 years later Emily's eye is perfect. I have to add that Emily loves going to see Dr Morley. That alone speaks volumes. I can't finish without mentioning our Chihuahua, Britney. She is going to see Dr Morley Friday to have her sore hip checked out. I have been meaning to write a review for many years now. I cant put it into words to truly highlight the compassion, skill, patience and knowledge we have experienced over the years with Dr Morley.

We have been seeing Properties Animal Clinic for 11 years. They have always treated our pets very professionally. The vets have been willing to listen to our concerns and explain things very well. Recently we moved to Red Deer and took our dogs to a local vet. The level of service was not what we were used to. Needless to say, we are continuing to make the 1 1/2 hour drive, so we can see Dr. Morley or Dr. Kim. The office staff are very welcoming and love greeting the dogs.

Said I’d be put on hold, but they just hang up the phone. Try and call back 5 minutes later, they pick up the phone, no response. Then continue to hang up the phone. Not sure what kind of customer service this is.

I wouldn't trust my lil guy's to anyone else other than Dr Morley and staff. All my family in Calgary bring them to Properties Animal Clinic no matter what part of the city they currently reside in. It's definitely worth the drive for the level of care they receive and compassion and expertise that Dr Morley provides. Highly recommended!

Thank you to Dr Morley and staff for taking care of Kira. We sadly had to say good bye to the little guy on July 24 2020 but everyone was there for us for the entire process. Dr Morley is an awesome vet who help us on a regular basis, even if was a phone call to decide on a treatment plan for Kira or help us plan his end of life care. One day when we get another pup, we know where will be going for their annuals.

Dr Morley and his staff have been looking after my dogs for the past 7 years, and I would never dream of taking them somewhere else to be looked after! Each of the staff members is very well trained in what they do, and can answer even the silliest of questions that us parents of furry children can drudge up! Been coming to this place for over 20 years and I've never had to deal with such a stressed out receptionist! As a pet parent, and I'm sure I speak for many others, we're already worried and stressed out I certainly did not need the attitude I received, first on the phone, then again in the office, I responded in the same manner. She ( Shannon) obviously couldn't handle what she dishes out. Long story short, Dr Morley decided that I should go somewhere else, that I upset her so much. After charging me $500 plus for the visit, he suggested I should perhaps do the follow up somewhere else! I was shocked to say the least. I thought he was far more caring for an animal, clearly he didn't care about my dog! They wouldn't allow me to go in to be a part of my babies care, but they certainly didn't have a problem bringing me inside the office to take my $500. Dispicable! I'm happy to have the decision made for me to never go back!!!! And so far 5 days later my baby is not any better, I have to desperately look for a new Vet to finish providing care for her.

I recently took my cat to Properties Animal Clinic to be spayed and I couldn't have been happier with the service. The staff were very welcoming and informative about the procedure. They answered all my questions and concerns regarding the surgery and the home care. As this was my first cat I was nervous about the whole ordeal but they were very reassuring and now my cat is home healing up very well. I will definitely be coming back with my cat and dog and recommending this clinic to any of my friends who are in need of a new veterinary clinic for their pets.
