Our Ruby has been going to this clinic for almost 12 years and while she has been a little shy at times, she's always had amazing care from the doctors and staff. We are so grateful for the care and thoughtfulness of everyone there. She's almost still as playful and exuberant as when she was a puppy thanks to the MEVC team! (though she's now happy to have a good nap or two - evidence below)

I bring my dog - which is a service dog - to this clinic. They are very good at what they do and make sure all our needs are met. We also get our deworming, flea, and tick meds here. They are careful to make sure we get the correct doses. Covid19 protocols are in effect and they limit entry and follow masks and social distancing. Highly recommend.

I have to share my first experience with Dr. Forgan and her team. I brought my dog in as a new patient, in order to find out why his behavioir had changed so much. From the first steps into the clinic I felt so at ease and my dog was happy too! Dr. Forgan clearly explained her diagnosis and following her treatment, my doggy is steadily getting better. I would recommend people take their pets here, if you need a new clinic.

I love the staff and doctors here!!! They treat my dog-child like royalty, they also take the time to chat about any and all issues, as well as always find time to squeeze us in for (sometimes last minute) appointments. The only thing I dislike, and why I rated 4-stars, is that they charge for re-examinations or re-checks. Usually this is free of charge at other practices! :(

It was a very nice experience! The staff was very nice and very informative. Not pushy at all. I was expecting it to be an expensive visit for a check up, some shots, and pills but was pleasantly surprised at the end bill. My dog was spoiled by the staff as well! I highly recommend this clinic for your furry babies!

I called this vet after my dog was acting strange after jumping onto the couch (potential injury) when my current vet wasn’t able to see us right away. The service at this vet is great, all covid protocols were clearly explained and they took well care of our dog for his assessment. Having never met Dr. Pon in person, she made us feel at ease as she was incredibly detailed with explaining everything to us over the phone (with the option of a zoom call which was nice) and overall extremely caring about the well-being of our dog. Will be making this vet our primary vet going forward. They were able to get us in right away which was important as we were leaving town that afternoon and needed to arrange proper care for our dog, I understand appointment availability can vary but that made a huge difference to us and sold us in the end. It’s now been a few days later since our initial visit and the office called to check up on our dog to see how he’s doing, which just shows how much they care about the animals they treat.

Nice people but I dont trust any vets because all 3 of my kittens died and these guys told me that atleast 2 would make it but they also died. Never going to recommend anyone to any vets because all they care about is the money. Without the money not a single vet person would help or consider helping you or anyone else out. Sad world and no most definitely not recommending these guys to anyone at all

Wonderful vet, they were able to diagnose my cat with upper respiratory disease as well as herpes and give her medication to help that 2 previous vets before said they couldn't help. Super friendly and compassionate.

Millwoods east veterinary clinic is the rare place in the world where you find other people who care as much about your furbaby as much as you do. They are incredibly skilled and compassionate. I'm not sure what else I can say without welling up about my late dog... but I can say say they extended her life by like three years and she had a GREAT quality of life until the end. There is no where I would trust more than the women of millwoods east. I have brought multiple foster dogs to them for vaccination and they have been incredible even with scared chompy rescue dogs. If you want a trustworthy vet in edmonton or the surrounding area this is the place.

Over the last 21 years I've had 4 different and wonderful dogs whom I've loved. Millwoods East Vet has been the healthcare provider for all of them and done an incredible job so far above and beyond expected service it would take wayyy too long to go into. I had to let go of the last of them, Shadow, last week and probably won't be a pet owner again for a while. So since I may not see them for a bit I'd like to thank them for their wonderful care, compassion, and service. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Just brought my Siamese Dextee here for a check-up, his shots, and to get a chip. We missed our appointment time at first and felt awful, but they were able to get us in the same day!! Every staff member I met was friendly and knowledgable. We saw a few different people who all checked on Dexter, comforted him, and seemed to love their jobs. The veterinarian who administered the shots maintained a calm voice and gentle touch when handling Dexter, helping him stay calm and leave with a good experience rather than a traumatic one. (Dexter is an inside cat and today was a BIG day for him.) Furthermore, she continuously gave us tips and info on keeping him happy and healthy in-between visits. I believe her name was Leah Turner. Thank you! The ladies who gave Dexter a chip were awesome, constantly comforting him and working quickly yet safely. They also made sure I had what I needed after the appt. so that I could check on Dexter and know when and when not to worry for him, and what is, and is not normal to expect after his appt. This is really valuable to me as a loving pet parent and I will 100% be back as well as recommend this vet to others. :) (Edit: it was a little pricey, but this place was recommended to me for him and every penny is worth it for my beautiful Siamese baby, and the staff really do care about your pets. Keep in mind that they do not set their own prices, they just work there and love animals) :)

My spouse and I have taken our cat Rocky shown here, to the clinic and while I find Dr. Lynnette Carlson (although she's now on mat leave) friendly, personable, and caring, in her place now is Dr. Kylie Pon who I've taken my 15 year old cat to in January of this year. I've spent thousands of dollars on blood, urine, and x-ray tests in total since last year to try and find out why he is sometimes vomiting, always from early to late in the mornings now since late last year, to discover what exactly is wrong with him. We've been taking him since last summer to the Millwoods East Veterinary Clinic, and he's had his annual physical exam there as well which I thought was important. But now my spouse and I are seriously questioning this clinic's findings because we don't understand WHY they have not requested a stool sample, as they found through his recent tests that he is 'borderline constipated', prescribing Restoralax for him, that normally people will take for this! As well, Rocky has been on Gabapentin for his thyroid as last year he had lost a lot of weight, despite always having a very healthy appetite and 'hounding' me to feed him when he's hungry. THAT medication he's been on twice a day, morning and late at night, has definitely helped him put the weight back on. But his vomiting has continued and varies in consistency- sometimes foamy, sometimes with dry food chunks in it, or pukey, feces looking type of vomit. And Dr. Pon says he's constipated, even though he drinks a lot of water??? And he only throws up in the mornings the odd time??? It seems to us that the clinic is more about profit than they are about providing medical care for animals, and we don't feel we can continue to pay $800 plus dollars any longer. It's $500 to $800 dollars every time we go there and the clinic just called us last week and left us a voicemail about our cat's bloodwork, wanting us to bring him back in again! He just had a series of tests done there. It cost me $146.33 the last time he was there, and this was for medications. He's otherwise healthy for a 15 year old cat, he just drinks a fair amount of water due to his stage 2 of kidney disease, and the intermittent vomiting issue. Otherwise he's still active, has mild arthritis they told me in his back, but climbs up onto the sofa, bed, etc easily and uses his new 'kitty stairs' I bought for him off Amazon. We just feel, especially my spouse, that they're all about the money more than anything. We also had brought in another cat and the vet actually asked my spouse what a cyst IS!! (she had one last year that grew back after he had taken her down to the Spay and Neuter clinic downtown and later on it grew back and ruptured one night). She had to go and discuss it with her colleagues and looked it up! THAT cost for the 2nd incident of our female cat's cyst that grew back and ruptured cost us $1800!! So that incident as well really made him question their medical knowledge. We likely will end up having a conversation (both of us) the next time we go there, and seek another vet who are truly skilled and knowledgeable, as well as genuinely caring more about animals than they do making hundreds and thousands of dollars for providing veterinary care. They're just NOT affordable.

I been coming to this clinic for yrs. The staff have always been friendly and concentrate, most of all they have always been professional. If I have questions they all get answered and then some. I will continue coming here because I know my furry friend will get what he needs.

Many years ago my cat was attacked by a dog on the loose. She had broken ribs, internal bleeding and a ruptured spleen. I didn't have a lot of money and they helped figure it out and made it work. They saved her life and I am eternally greatful for their support and professionalism. She's now 14 and is doing great. Love you guys????

Oscar and Sweet Pea are loyal patients of Dr. Turner. She is kind, knowledgeable, and very understanding. We couldn't ask for a better vet and are extremely happy having her look after our dogs health. The facility and staff are amazing and go above and beyond. I have been taking my two dogs ( Boston Terrier and French Bulldog) to this vet for over four years. We have been through pancreatitis, allergies, liver issues, dental surgeries, and eye ulcers. The service there is amazing and the level of care my dogs received is very satisfactory. Staff is knowledgeable and caring. Please note: I do have vet insurance on my dogs so I cannot comment on cost.

Dr. Claire Leger, and all the staff, make our visits as stress free and as pleasant as possible. We have had the misfortune of having to euthanize one of our dogs and they gave amazing service and compassion during that horribly sad time On a lighter note, when we visit for routine check ups, or major/minor incidents or to get travel documents the staff are efficient and always helpful. Our dog Charlie would say they are very generous with the treat distributions and would highly recommend.

I use a different vet as I've been with them forever, but they don't carry much of the food in stock due to limited space so I started getting my food from this location instead. Even considered moving to them for any future vet needs. Over Christmas I was running out of my cats meds and needed a really small supply to last me until I could get to my normal vet after the holidays. While I'm extremely grateful they helped me out of a bad situation (one I'm aware I was my fault as I waited too long and didn't realize I was almost out), they filled my prescription of 5 pills to last me over Christmas but charged me an insane amount ! I had no choice and it dissapointed me - I felt taken advantage of because of my situation. They lost all future business from me because of this decision. Not sure if this was a way to teach me a lesson or they just want more money but it was really unprofessional.
