I've only just ever bought my diet cat food here but I'd just like to say that these guys are great! Anytime I need to order food or sometimes they're even proactive and have my food already in stock waiting for me. I also wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my animals here if I had to. They're professional, friendly and always are eager to help!

Loosing a loving part of the family can be a traumatic event. Sometimes the price alone can be traumatic. I looked at the reviews for several different Veterinary Clinics/ Hospitals and I have tried other vets. I decided to choose Mercy Animal Hospital because they were accredited and had alot of really great reviews. I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to take my sick cat there. Dr Nash has been very caring and professional just like the reviews say. Not once have I ever felt like money is more important than my cats health. Prices are very decent compared to other vets I have tried. As I write this Im not sure how much time I have with my cat but I can be at peace knowing that they will be looking after her every step of the way. I really like the app, and any time I have ever had a question or concern they’re usually pretty quick to respond. Chris the student there has been very helpful and his kindness will always be remembered when I look back on this time. If I ever have any future pets we will not hesitate to return and I will definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

I am so glad my regular vet couldn't get my cat in this weekend. He had an upper respiratory infection in the past and it took Dr. Tan one appointment to prescribe the antibiotic that works for Rollo. The other vet took 3 visits and months to treat his infection. I recommend this vet. This will be my new family vet ???? oh and it was also a fraction of the cost. He doesn't try and push products on you.

I recently visited Mercy Animal Hospital with my 6 year old Chihuahua cross. We saw Dr. Mills and he was friendly and professional. The office and exam rooms were clean. They even called a few days after our appointment to make sure Cali was doing better.

Never again $180 for photos of my dog's teeth what a joke. Teeth cleaning 6 months ago was nearly double what i paid at my last 2 vet offices even after their so called military discount. Not to mention 6 month's latter with regular dental care at home they say she needs 6 teeth pulled. If they did their job properly the first time they probably would have caught the problem and it would have never gotten this bad. Poor puppy she is only 3. Up date Haha apparently they can't read. Their response is that without care after teeth cleaning problems can still happen. If they could read they would see that i did take care of my dog's teeth. Maybe not as well as i do now, but i did give her an additive to her water and dental chews daily only brushed weekly. Not to mention they where supposed to cut her nails complementary right, wrong she managed to split her due claw the next day had to amputate it. Thanks for nothing.. Over pay for mediocre care.

At the end of March, early April, my family had a tragedy with 1 of our dogs. Our vet had arranged to send us over to Mercy as they weren't equipped to handle the issues. Even with all of the new restrictions with Covid-19, they were exceptional. They were very good about calling with updates, answering all of our questions & incredible when our dog passed away. Without us having to ask, they supplied us with paw prints & didn't even hesitate to refund the cost of the medication we had purchased. So when our other dog & new puppy were due for their shots, I called both our vet & Mercy for quotes. Mercy was much cheaper & I was happy to take them there. Their service is beyond exceptional & I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet!

I brought my new dog in for a spay last week and was quoted a value on the phone that was higher than other clinics. But it was still within the range and I accepted it because timeline was more important than price. When I dropped her off I was given a completely different price and they do not include pre-bloodwork in the rate that was already higher. (add 108) Then I was told that if she was in heat there would be another additional fee of $75 which was silly because I had told them on the phone she was in heat. So nearly 200 higher than what I had been quoted. Accuracy in quotes is critical and they missed the mark completely. She did well in surgery and I picked her up in the evening. But there has been no follow-up whatsoever from Mercy Animal hospital even after 5 days. Most clinics that I have used in the past have done follow up calls for any dog that is put under anesthesia. I won't be considering them her vet.

I'm watching my best friend baby kikie die painfully before my eyes plzzz read ???????????? My fur baby , my daughter's 2 fur babies have been coming to mercy and their sister hospital for many years , for several visits including very costly surgeries , minor worries to huge worries we fur baby parents often have and of course rush them in just in case , the very day we were Bringing our kikie home from mercy I noticed a bump on her head over her right eye , as we were about to travel for my commonlaw husband's work we were unable to return to mercy however as we arrived at our destination Pappa brought her in to be looked at , of course I was terrified of the c word , it was a huge relief to hear it was only a Lipoma that could wait for our return to Edmonton , it kept growing and growing but I certainly didn't want to see the same doctor , I couldn't wait to be back as I believed she would certainly be saved here , kikies Pappa passed away only a week ago , as we were commonlaw we weren't joined financially however I thought no problem after all these years they'll certainly allow us to pay most and bill a bit if needed ?? They turned us down after the many year relationship and thousands paid always in full at the time of appointment , so plzzz head warming where you're building a relationship ??? Because they literally will watch your dog die should you be a bit short on likely a few thousand dollar surgery , I am unable to keep typing as the tears fall on my phone , as long as we keep patronizing these so called doctors that by all means should have an ounce of humanity many of our fur children will die for a few dollars you may be short ? Plzzz for kikie I beg you find another clinic ????

After my dog had a run in with a porcupine, I frantically called vets on the south side. I was offered 2 plus hour waiting time. I called Mercy and they stayed open late and waited for us to bring in our pup. They quickly got us in and took great care! Everyone that we met was friendly, genuine and kind!! Thanks Mercy!!!

I picked up my boy from the breeder on a Tuesday, called Mercy on Wednesday and they had him in for his appointment (neutering, microchipping, vaccinations and floride treatment) by Friday. It was cheaper than their original quote and who doesn’t like cheaper?! He came home a happy boy and healed great and it was close and convenient.

I called a few vets as soon as i noticed my dog having an ear infection( mine couldn't get me in for 2 days). They said i could come down and be seen at 6( I called 530) i lived 20 mins away, since I've never been there they asked my dogs name and info and i was on my way. On their hold answering machine they say their main priority is patient satisfaction. I get there and i had to call so they would open door i waited outside for 7 min in 38 C. I go in then they ask name again and saying they heard wrong on the phone we laughed and confirmed info and why Thor was there. Then the asn receptionist was not very friendly and said that they will call me when done. I explained no one let me know it was a drop off service as Thor is a rescue with separation anxiety and i haven't even met this vet before or was told this. I asked if i could meet him or coming for exam as Thors ear is red has discharge and swollen i let them know we were swimming as i would like to tell vet. Then the receptionist said i can take Thor elsewhere, i was shock and said no he needs ear drops i would of just like to know prior. So the reception said she would ask, The tech comes back with the receptionist and said i hear you're reluctant to leave your dog and the reason you weren't told was because it is a call service.. I explained i spoke to both ladies.. she then said oh.. maybe just one. That was a lie and weird i brushed it off and then told the tech that he has separation anxiety and gave her the leash i left and my dog started to cry, they said they will call when done. I waited in car for 40 mins then they asked me to come in, i came to the locked door and waited for 10 mins in the heat, finally someone walked to the door and asked if i was called to come in already, i said i was then waited in the room for 15 mins to talk to doc and get my dog. The doc came in and confirmed my dog needed ear drops and then said they did a swab for mites witch i was not asked or approved another 70$ added. i cleaned ears before and clearly didn't have mites. Then 220 Dollars later asked me to take a Popsicle on my way back. I was not impressed with this office and will never bring my dog back. I brought my dog back to make sure everything is healing with his regular vet!

We’ve been bringing our dog here since he was a puppy and we’ve had nothing but a great experience every time we go there. The front end staff are always so friendly and welcoming and answer any questions you have. Shareen has always been so amazing with our fur baby. I love that they always give you options and their prices seem to be completely fair. Very easy to get an appointment. Would highly recommend them to look after your fur babies!

Been taking our family cat here since he was a kitten. Amazing vet! Doesnt make the situation stressful for Pepper ❤ will definitely continue using them as his vet.

My dad took our cat just to cut his nail and they told hiM to come back later. After that they called him saying the cat is dead, how is that even possible a cat won’t die from a nail cut. This is so annoying not recommended at all. They didn’t even give them back the papers that my dad signed. They said they’ll email it but nothing since that day and they keep ignoring it.

W. Bron

I was quoted from another clinic for some teeth work on one of our cats that was too much for us to pay, so I asked Mercy hospital what they would charge for the same procedure and they said it would only be half of what the other vet wanted. They were professional, kind and caring with us and our cat. Exceeded our expectations!

Brittany Hammel

I had to take my dog here for an emergency. My regular vet's office was closed, as it was after 6 pm on a weekend. Mercy Animal Hospital was able to see my dog as soon as we got there, and I'm grateful for that.

Hey there. We adopted an old dog from GEARS rescue society in October 2019 and had our free wellness check at Mercy Animal Hospital this afternoon. First off, I sent an email on their website asking for an appointment. Two days later, I still had not heard back from the hospital, so I phoned and left a voicemail. Another day went by and I had not heard from anyone yet, so I phoned multiple times (getting their answering machine every time) before I actually spoke with a real person! The free wellness check certificate expires Jan 7 2020, so there was not a lot of time to schedule an appointment. Then, once we arrived at the hospital, we were ushered into a room to wait for the vet. Upon his arrival, he knelt down beside our old dog and did not introduce himself; he merely asked what we wanted of him and why my dog's eyes were bulgy. I told him that he was the vet and that was the reason we were here to see him today. I also asked him his name, and he responded "Nash". I had three issues for the vet regarding our dog: 1. why her eyes looked reddened and weepy 2. why she pees so frequently 3. several lipomas I pointed out just to make sure they were ok The vet spoke very poor and broken English, and through the difficulty understanding him, we got the impression that he simply wanted to do all sorts of tests and bloodwork on our old dog....."she has murmur and she should have an EKG and we should send bloodwork to a cardiologist for review"..."she needs that lump on her eyelid removed"....."I can flush out her tear ducts"..... all three of us got the strong impression that this vet is simply out for the almighty $ and couldn't really care less about us or our dog. As a senior dog, I feel that she is lucky to have been adopted, and that she can live out the rest of her life happily without being subjected to unnecessary tests and bloodwork and procedures! Upon finishing his cursory examination, the vet then said that he needed to see that her vaccinations were current (I indicated that they were given just prior to adoption in October) and he then stated that we should schedule a recheck appointment. I declined, indicating that the only reason we were at Mercy Animal Hospital was because GEARS gave us a free wellness check certificate. He clearly did not like this, because he then just turned around and walked away. The receptionist at the desk was rude and ignorant of the appointment reason, and she had to be assisted by another kind lady who knew what she was doing! I would not go back to this animal hospital or recommend them to anyone, as the vet clinic that we support has much better customer service and the vet actually introduced himself the first time we met him! I would shy away from giving this man y our business, as he clearly wants $$$ and doesn't care about the animal! Thanks for reading this and I hope it helps you to make an informed decision.

I’m in absolute shock at the level of incompetence in every single person I dealt with at this vet, including “Dr. Nash”. I have been going to this and the sister clinics for years, and have had this particular vet 2 previous times, both of which left me with a bad impression. I specifically went to the north clinic to avoid this doctor, but was told when I got there he is the only vet in the office. I brought my dog in for bladder/kidney issues, he came in the exam room and didn’t even look at my dog(not even a greeting). He just said well run blood work and urine sample. Her gums looked very red but pale at the same time and you could see this from a glance, but I had to ask him to actually examine her(same as the previous times I had seen him). Cut to being a UTI diagnoses and a prescription for antibiotics. I live near the university so asked if I could pick up on the southside, the dr said he could phone my prescription into my pharmacy. Except he didn’t. I phoned every day starting on the Monday since my appointment (which was on a Friday) and had to harass the staff to get any answers and was finally told on Wednesday that yes, they phoned in the script. Today is Saturday, and I finally got the antibiotics, but after being told by one staff that there was no record of my dog even having an appt? Not any record of a prescription? I finally had to threaten to say I’d be phoning back every hour until the script was filled to get any where with these nincompoops.

I got to know the staff at Mercy because of the rescue I was fostering with. Soon after I switched my own 3 dogs over as well. All the people at Mercy are kind, compassionate, and take the time to discuss options, treatment, and care. Love you guys!!

Exactly, to the day, one week ago, I emailed this business a high quality photo of a condition one of my dogs is suffering from. Someone called to schedule an appointment and I stopped her and replied I’m looking for advice on what to treat with as it is a condition I encountered before with another of my dogs. This same person took a message and said she would have the vet call me. Hello, Mercy animal hospital....still waiting on that call, from the vet! This is sounding more than ever like a play for $$$. NO appointment charging $$$, NO service. It’s nice to know my initial impression wasn’t wrong. If you need professionals who care for your pet’s well-being, MERCY ANIMAL HOSPITAL is NOT the place you want to take them. MERCY ANIMAL HOSPITAL....shout out to you and ALL OTHER VET CLINICS that are in it for the $$$, this is noticed by those of us who have medical training and treat our pets as family! You’ve just been put on WARNING! How you respond will determine whether treatment continues, at your facility! 22 Aug 2020 UPDATE....still waiting on a call from Mercy Animal Hospital! I guess NO $$$, NO service. Good news, my dog recovered WITHOUT any intervention on the part of MAH. My initial assumptions are starting to be validated. A short time ago, my other dog was taken to Mercy, (I’d like to point out, NOT BY ME). I would NEVER entrust the care of my pets to their greed and unprofessionalism. $500 later, I get a bandage and some analgesics that are almost the same size as the dogs mouth. Wow, does greed know no boundaries? My question is were they re-purposed human or horse medication or is it a case of one-size-fits-all? Quality care huh? The veterinary industry, NOT unlike the human medical industry, has fallen prey to greed and corruption, basic highway robbery, and there is nothing we can do as they are collectively part of the same system! My recommendation, treat pets at home with home remedies as much as is possible! LETS COLLECTIVELY SEND A MESSAGE!

My cat was taken here as he was suffering from fpv. I was told to literally Google what it was from the vet. I told him my cat would only be able to stay for 1 night as thats all I could afford. He kept him for 4 days and charged me more. Euthanization was only mentioned as that would of been a better option for him in hindsight maybe an hour before he passed away on his own. The vet gave no advice about keeping my other cats away or how transmission works so unfortunately I had other cats come into contact with the virus as I didn't know what chemicals to use for cleaning other than bleach. I had nothing to clean fabric. On taking my other cat here who started to show symptoms my mom paid for a euthanization and one of the front desk ladies told my mom I was saying my cat came into contact with aquarium plant fertilizer and that's why he was throwing up. I did bring in the fertilizer as thats the only chemical my original cat could of come into contact with just to make sure it wasn't that originally. In the first hour of being at the vets the vet told me it wasn't that. But six days later some girl on the phone is telling my mom I was saying it was fish fertilizer? That was talked about six days earlier and it was mentioned ONCE. Don't expect to receive pictures of your pet when it's there for an overnight stay as they won't. You'll also be sent to some third party answering company who will just take your information snd say they'll call you when they can. Also don't expect a call from them the next day unless you call back quite a few times in the morning. Also don't expect any appointments to be made on time. I was allowed a visitation time with my kitten at 1:30 so I showed up at 1:20 only for them to be on lunch for literally an hour and you to be sitting outside the clinic phoning and buzzing the door with nobody answer and no note saying it was an employee lunch time. Why even make an appointment time with someone if you're not going to be there at that time? Also why are ALL of the employees on lunch at the exact same time? Nobody is there with the animals??? When I had my other cat euthanized they weren't even going to sedate him for that. I had to ask for that as he was just going to inject him with whatever they use to euthanize without sedation. Why would you ever want to have the cat be fully aware of what's happening before that. Holy. They'll also charge $30 or $35 to have your pets medical records transferred to another vet. We chose not to do this and when we told the other vet we couldn't afford the extra charge to do that right now even they were shocked that a clinic actually charges for that they had never heard that before. I would never take a pet back here. This was a horrible experience. I didn't feel welcome and nobody showed any sympathy. I owe so much money and I couldn't even get an explanation on what fpv is from a "professional". I was told to Google it. Imagine that. That's crazy.

Raquel Belle

I've been there several times and referred many different people to this vet however today I was completely thrown off and turned away. I called in a panic as my dog has been posioned and they told me they were busy and I needed to find another hospital as their vet was in surgery... okay fine but then they hung up on me just like that!!

Albert Fong

A clean and comfortable environment to bring our puppy Mecca and the new addition, Mika our cat to their check ups. The staff are knowledgeable about the four legged animals we love and couldn’t imagine a better vet clinic for the safety and health of our fur balls.

Christopher Jarvis-Sallustio

If I could give less stars I would. Dropped our dog off today and was told we would get an update and be able to pick her up this evening. Never got an update, the phone number provided was to.a totally different clinic that my dog wasn't at and to top.it off their after hours answering service is a joke. Why have one if they cant give any information. And now my severely anxious 14 year old dog has to spend the night. Which oh yeah, NO ONE FELT THE NEED TO TELL.ME!!!! Absolute bullsh@t

The staff at Mercy Animal Hospital are highly professional, efficient and caring. My micro yorkie was bit by a cat and had an abscess so had to have surgery. They were able to schedule his surgery very quickly and the surgery was completely successful. The follow up care is also of the highest quality. I highly recommend Mercy AH.

Rosanna Houle

They are extremely professional and very precise on surgeries... Thank You so much Mercy Animal Hospital for taking great care Of my cat and dog... I am glad I found a home clinic for them.. Could not have picked a better place

Cookie Ketchup

Sent my cat over there who had mytes. Cost me $500 dollars and they "couldn't" find out what was wrong with the cat. Even after blood work and his allergy tests. Left a clipboard in the room with his real diagnosis, which was mytes. Came back and tried to offer further investigation for another $500 dollars or a monthly allergy shot of $250. Nothing said about mytes or no options to deal with mytes.

K&B Health

Amazing staff... So kind, caring and thorough. If I could give this a higher rating I would. They work with you and care about your animal more than anything. Thank you!!! Suzanne the front desk receptionist is awesome.

So, do I have a review of this place!! We have been loyal mercy vet patients for a few years now and I have recommended them to many people over the years. We brought our youngest cat in today at 5 pm because she hasn’t been feeling well. We called first thing this morning and 5 pm was the earliest appointment, great, works for us! We take our cat in to get looked at and she is jumping around, investigating. The vet comes in (NOT the regular female vet that is usually there but some Dr. Nash guy???) and feels her belly. Right away he notices a mass, some sort of intestinal blockage. He tells us we have some options. 1. Operate (surgery will be $1500-$2000, but it’s not guaranteed to be a success. 2. Euthanize 3. Surrender her to the shelter she came from or any other shelter willing to take her. So we say okay we need time to think. He says sure. A vet tech comes in and re explains those options to us, while also saying we could likely go elsewhere and said she shouldn’t be telling us that. She mentions that since Monday is a holiday, there are also no surgeries Tuesday, and this Dr. Nash isn’t back in until Friday so surgery would need to wait until then. She tells us to go home and think about the options over the weekend and to let us know. Ok, great. They did no ultrasound, blood work, xrays, NOTHING. just felt the belly. We packed her up and left. We came home and told our kids about her problem and had been spending hours discussing the options as a family. Fast forward 2.5 hours and we have 6 uniformed officers at our door claiming they need to seize our cat as the vet told them she will die tonight without surgery. I am hysterical, as is my daughter, explaining to them how they never told us that at all. I explained what we were told word for word and they said they needed to seize the cat based on the vets orders. They explained what would happen next, took my info, and said I’d hear from them Monday or Tuesday. One hour later they called me back to say they were on the way back from my house with my cat from guardian vet. They get here and they tell us that the vet there did a scan and confirmed a blockage and said the cat will definitely NOT die overnight but that yes, it needs surgery soon. The animal control & police officers could not believe that mercy animal hospital told them this cat was on deaths door. They expected to show up and find a completely emaciated cat who was near death, and couldn’t believe she had energy, affection, etc. Safe to say that we are DONE with mercy and will be taking our cat elsewhere for surgery. My mind is blown. After how loyal we have been to them. I am even currently paying off another $1,200 vet bill with them for our other cat. (November 2019) I should also mention that the vet office phoned me after I wrote this same review on their Facebook page and threatened me to take it down. They told me they’d have me charged with animal abuse if I didn’t remove the review. The animal control officer on our case said they would be unable to do that as the cat was euthanized after being inspected by a new vet. (Edited to add more info August 2020)

My cats have been getting thier vaccines here and my boy was fixed here. They are very professional and its obvious they care about the animals.

Mercy Animal Hospital is the best. They've been taking care of all of my pets for years and I'm so thankful for them. All of the staff is so caring and passionate about what they do. When my eldest cat of 17 years became super ill last month and had to be put down, Mercy Animal Hospital went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were comfortable during the entire procedure. They even sent us a little memorial gift afterwards that we will cherish forever. And every now and then, they check up on us to see how we're doing. Such sweet people! Couldn't recommend a better location to bring your four-legged pals.

Always a pleasure to come here with my many animals. I tend to ask a lot of questions and everyone is friendly, compassionate, and patient when explaining conditions, treatments, and options available. Thanks ladies!

First time going to the vet for shot on my little puppy. The vet was very knowledgeable and smooth in administering the vaccine to my puppy. The reception experience was a little bumpy as their systems were not working properly but all in all, good experience!

I wish there were negative stars. I am looking to connect with anyone who took their cats to this vet on August 10th and 11th 2020.

Mercy animal hospital is absolutely wonderful, they understand how important our pets are to us. The share the details in a way that is easy to understand. They were very comforting and fixed my puppy up in a hurry. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs. Thanks guys

Other reviews mention a "Dr. Tan" but there's apparently a new Vet at this clinic, and he's horrible! Our pup had diarrhea with fresh blood in it, and he "wasn't concerned" about it. He missed a serious ear mite problem that another Vet found immediately, he ordered tests that he didn't clear with us first, and we got a nasty surprise when we saw the bill, and then didn't call when the results of those test should have been in. I'm NEVER going back there! A total waste of $400 with nothing to show for it.

kayc

Scam of a vet clinic. They just want your money. I feel so terribly that I trusted them with my puppy. My partner and I have been taking our older dog here for years (which now that I realize his problems continuously haven't been resolved is a red flag also), but we took our brand new puppy here to be looked at, get her shots, and then eventually be spayed. She was a perfect, healthy pup with ZERO issues. They give you time frames to pick your pet up but then don’t call you or anything, they wouldn't let us pick her up for a while, they told us they’d call and they didn’t so we pretty much had to call and bug them to pick up my dog which was annoying. Fast forward she's now been dealing with "UTI's" for the last year+. We've been to this vet multiple times for UTI's, the first time they couldn't even tell us what was wrong, no mention of uti or anything just shoved medication and a $500 vet bill at us. This medication did nothing for her and she was brought in another 2 times after this, and just given the same medication with no real check up, cost us way over $1000 alone and then for them to tell us it would be another few hundred to do more testing. They are incompetent and can't even diagnose your dog properly, they simply are just out to get your money. Not to mention when we found another vet to properly care for her, they charged us $45 EACH PET to transfer records. I will be reporting your business as you've caused us and most importantly our pet a whole lot of pain and grief because you're a greedy scum bag

The staff and doctor that handles our kitties are truly amazing. We can't say much more than that they treat our fur babies like their own, and we all feel at home there :)

This is an absolute amazing veterinarian office! They did an emergency dental surgery on my cat with the same day’s notice! And on top of that, they did this on a stat holiday. With this pandemic going on, they still called me and gave me options for treatment and made sure that I understood everything and answered all my questions with patience. They also warned me that my cat is near diabetic without being obese which I would have never known! Everyone was great and accommodating and very nice. On top of that, they gave us a discount on the bill without being our normal vet! I highly recommend this place and their lovely staff to anyone looking for a vet or even just an emergency vet!

I had an emergency with one of my cats and they were able to take her in very quickly. They addressed her problem and then sent me home with some medication and a $300.00 bill (blood work included) but it was to be expected. It was a lot cheaper then my regular vet where it would have cost over 500 for the same service. Good news my cat is doing a lot better.

Absolutely amazing loving caring environment for animals!..Dr.Nash is the best vet guy I would recommend in the city, he listens and answers all your concerns and you can tell that he LOVES animals. Our dog was neutered there yesterday and had teeth cleaning done and teeth extracted; I was on the budget and they removed few extra teeth as a complimentary with no charge!..they also trimmed my dog's nails as a complimentary too. All staff are so attentive and caring too...as long as our dog lives they have my business!.Way to go Mercy Animal Hospital!...you truly stand up to your name. Thank you for all you do❤

Every time we bring our dog to Mercy, they are helpful and compassionate. We have had to bring our baby in last minute and Mercy was very accommodating and reassuring.

My cat was showing signed of breathing distress and the wonderful staff at Mercy not only handled my emotionally filled calls compassionately but were able to get me booked in the same day to address my cat’s health concerns. Dr Shereen, and her staff, took great care of my big boy, Logan, and made sure to answer any questions and concerns I had. They told me not to hesitate to call if any other questions or concerns arise. A clean and organized facility, budget friendly with financing options if needed and very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. I found a forever vet for my furbabies!

Katie Podtepa

One of the most amazing clinics I've been to! The staff are wonderful when assisting you with your questions and needs. Absolutely love them!

When we took out cat, Lulu, to Mercy Animal Hospital, she was already sick as we had been back and forth to another vet already a couple of times. It was Thanksgiving week end and Lulu had taken a turn for the worse and Mercy Hospital was the only place that would take her in. We called several other vets and because of her condition, staffing, etc, no one would even look at her. The name "Mercy Animal Hospital" rings so true and they were the only ones willing to care for Lulu. When we arrived, Dr. Nash came in immediately, took one look at her and told us that we needed to do emergency surgery. He was quick yet thorough and the staff members were very kind. Everyone was extremely compassionate and they are so reasonably priced compared to other vets. They truly care for the animals that are brought there and they do not try to gouge your pockets. I can't thank everyone at Mercy Animal Hospital enough for showing us kindness, compassion and desire to want to help our kitty. They tried their best.

This is my third time visiting them and let me tell you, Dr. Nash is wonderful. He is so understanding and kind on the phone with you. My cat has been sick over the last month and Dr. Nash has been so kind to him and helping him get better! The staff on the phone are also SO KIND and will listen to me ramble on. They are very upfront about prices and do not hide anything. I do wish we could talk to Dr. Nash first before examining your pet instead of explaining everything to the vet tech over the phone. Can be like playing telephone. Miscommunications can happen. I understand this is how it is during COVID. Thank you for all your help!

Kevin Hodder

From our first visit, Shereen was extremely knowledgeable as was the staff at Mercy. Our little guy had some issues that were quickly sorted out and Shereen took the time to explain everything. The staff at Mercy went beyond our expectations of a vet clinic. From day one we have never looked anywhere else to take care of our pets. During surgery they were informative and friendly, providing everything we needed and more. They are always available for information and always answer any pet-related questions you have. Overall an excellent vet that we highly recommend to everyone. You can tell that they love their jobs and truly care for everyone's pets.

Steven Anderson

Absolutely wonderful and compassionate people. They were more than willing to go the extra mile to help me and my cat out when he had a urinary tract blockage. Thank you so much Dr Heneen and staff!

Two furry thumbs Up!!

Took my 17 week old pup into this place for her vaccinations Dr Tahir is sooo sweet! My dog didn’t yelp during her shots and she snuggled with him. As an owner that indicates to me he’s someone who loves animals and is a wonderful person to give your business to in regarding your fur babies ! Will be returning :)

Lisa

We made an appointment in the evening and had one of our boys in the next day and the other for a few days later, excellent service and wonderful pricing! I would highly recommend this hospital

I love my regular vet but there hours dont work well with my work schedule. Im so nervous to try out new vets because i want my fur babies to be looked after properly and correctly. I brought my dog here for a limping problem and its the third vet i went to within a week because everyone kept telling me she is fine and most likely just pulled a muscle. After spending hundreds of dollars just to be told shes fine, i went to this vet. FINALLY i got some answers. Poor baby has a spinal disorder but can be treated now because MERCY ANIMAL HOSPITAL ACTUALLY put the effort in to find out whats wrong! Im so relived and crazy enough it was cheaper than every other vet i went to! I ended up finding a stray kitten a week later and needed to bring him in to make sure he was okay! They got me in literally the next day! They gave me all the right medicine for him and neutered him and gave him his shots AND microchipped him all within two hours. Very knowledgable and helped me learn the next steps to owning my first baby kitten. Thanks Mercy animal hospital for making me feel confident with bringing my animals here every time!

Recently had my cat in for kidney work which was an over weekend ordeal. Upon returning home, my last straw with Mercy was drawn. -The carrier he came back home in had urine and feces it. The cat was absolutely soaked in his own filth. -The vet knew of other issues and decided not to tell us. We found out today they had known since August of the kidney issues. It was because of these issues that the cat was admitted. -The vet did not call when he was ready to go home. Or during the weekend LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. This is a reoccurring issue. My first 2 experiences there were fine other than them forgetting us in waiting room for 45 minutes EACH TIME! Awful service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Isla Christie

Very kind caring Staff great location. So happy with feeling people care about pets as much as the owners do! Definitely will recommend Mercy to anyone needing quality vet care.

Nessrin Saab

They were so wonderful with my hazel, I dropped her off @ 9 am and due to work I was unable to get her till they closed @9 pm & they are so understanding. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone ! Thank you so much

I've had my dog since she was 10 weeks old. I was told that Mercy Animal was a great placeto take my pup. I'm so glad I listened. Dr Shereen is a great vet. She's very patient, passionate and eager to help. On October 16 my girl Salter had a very freak accident. Got her in to she Dr. Shereen and she needed to get stitches. Dr.Shereen and her aasassist (Jennifer Warren) stayed after hours to clean and stitch up my little girl. Unfortunately I was not there with her. After she was done and on her way home I got a call from Jennifer and she explained to me what to do for her and what all her meds were and when to give them to her. I have had 3 dogs before and not once did t ever get that kind of service. Even though my dog has had surgery there she loves to go see Dr. Shereen and Jennifer. She gets so excited to she them. I would recommend Mercy Animal vets always. I couldn't ask for a better Vet and the service is great. Salty just loves them.

Andrea Lopez

Amazing staff great location and during a time so hard a huge shout out to the veterinarians and technicians for making it possible to have a family pet looked after. I was delighted to find a place that was willing to take care of my family pet. Excellent and fair prices and following all COVID-19 guidelines. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a vet whether it be now or later keep this location on your top vet list! Thank you all for being so kind to me and my bestie ???? stay safe! ALSO...this location deals with alot of animal rescues. Currently for ten dollars you can purchase a bowl and all the proceeds go to Little cats lost. I believe the retail is almost forty dollars i bought two and honestly the best scooping bowl ever and finally one my dog can't pick up! Ask their staff.

I had been totally stressed about a previous experience with another clinic. They were so kind and caring. Immediately put me at ease.

My dog was very sick and Needed to see a vet last Saturday(01/22/21). I couldn’t get in to the place I had usually taken him and all other vets I called had no appointments. I’m very happy that Mercy had an available appointment. Dr. Nash is very professional and caring toward the situation with my dog. He explained what would be best even though it was very hard to hear. All the staff I encountered were very nice and caring toward me and my dog. I’m glad this is the vet that will be overseeing the care for my dog in the last stages of his time with me. Update 02/08/21 After my appointment my dog needed a refill of his medication. I emailed Mercy updating them with how my dog was doing and with what meds he needed. They got back to me promptly, letting me know it was ok to come pick up the refills. This was very easy and convenient. I wanted to talk to Dr. Nash about the best plan going forward for my dog and there was a call scheduled for the next day. On the call Dr. Nash answered all my questions and gave his best advice for how to keep my dog comfortable and what to watch for if things took a turn for the worse. My dog sadly passed away 10 days after the initial visit. It happened to be on a Sunday and that’s the only day Mercy isn’t open so I did have to take him to another vet for cremation. I highly recommend this clinic for your pet. Mercy is my first choice for my current dog and any other pets I may be in the care of that need to see a vet. Whether it be for routine checkups or an emergency they can help you figure out what’s best for your beloved friend.

Cynthia Linklater

I brought my little Yorkie dog in with bad runs & belly ache... after exam & discussion a round of meds were given. Within 3 days Bandit was back to her sunny self. Staff were very kind & prices reasonable.

My poor 1 year old kitty needed a major surgery to get 16 teeth pulled and I am sooo glad I took him to Mercy. Dr. Nash and his team are amazing. My boy had an amazing recovery, isn't in pain anymore and is able to eat good food. Thank you so much!!

Dr Steve is such a kind, well mannered, caring, compassionate Vet!! I took my dog in on a medical emergency, they took s in right away, didn't do any tests without my consent. I was so beyond pleased tonight that I am making this our regular vet office!!!

I had to put my cat down last week and it was a very sad time for me. The day of, I had so much guilt and even still today. My cat was suffering and it had to be done (he was 17 years old). Jomar, at Mercy Animal Hospital, has been very supportive and helpful during this difficult time (I keep calling the clinic searching for a sense of closure and he has let me cry on the phone to him more than once now). If you need to euthanize your pet, just make sure you ask all the questions you need to, so you know it is the best decision for your pet. They do not sedate the pet before they put the catheter in, in case some people are wondering. I assumed all vet's do that, but they don't. Not a bad thing, just something to think about if you are worried about your pet reacting poorly to trying to have the catheter put in. My cat was very weak and so it took quite some time to get it in. I felt horrible. He is not in pain anymore, but I still feel so bad.

Wow first experience and my last. The lady working reception this morning was great. But the lady in the afternoon was so rude. Rolled her eyes at me when I was expressing my frustration. The doctor called me around 1230 to let me know I could pick my kitten up from surgery around 130-2. I arrived at 140. Tried to call the office as per covid protocol from the office. No answer I was put in hold for 20 mins trying to get through. Went to the door couldn’t see anyone. Decided okay I will run across the street and grab a coffee. I cone back at 2 call again and someone answers and asks the most ridiculous questions! I just wanted to pick up my friggen cat as per the phone call earlier! So I hang up go to the door and start knocking till reception comes. I tell her I’m there to pick up nitro my cat. Literally rolls her eyes at me gives me a look. This whole experience was horrible. I drove from out of town for this and I will never ever come here again. Specially dealing with a friggen RUDE receptionist. To top things off they left an IV IN MY CATS ARM!!!! I call and speak to the owner all he has to say is sorry we are short staffed the last person who took care of your cat must for forgot. Disgusting human beings treating my animal like this.

Wanda Davis

I was in and kittens were taken care of by a substitute Vet named Ann Lukey. She was amazingly kind, thorough, and gentle with the animals. Also did some teaching during my visit. Thank you Ann Lukey

Let me tell you a little about Mercy Animal Hospital. I am a foster parent for an animal rescue. Since Mercy is one of the veterinarian offices who have partnered with us (a tremendous recommendation on its own), I've have, through necessity, spent a LOT of time within their walls. I have seldom had the privilege of witnessing a group of people so completely dedicated to animal welfare. Dr. Sherene and her staff have gone above and beyond for myself and my menagerie more times than I can count and it was their warmth, kindness, and ultimate skill that led me, easily, to employing them for my own pets (I have 4 cats and a dog of my own). I recommend them to everyone!

Ashley Drouin

My cat was in distress and they took him in immediately and within a small amount of time we were able to get my cat the medicine and care he needed to take care of his bad UTI. The staff were all supportive and friendly. Thanks for helping my sweet boy <3

Viveca Solbrekken

Saturday afternoon we noticed that our cat needed some medical attention, we called Mercy Animal Hospital, they got us in right away. Took great care of our cat, medication to go home with and our cat is healing up nicely.

Trappist Solace

Really not a good experience for me. I have a total of 5 bounced calls trying to get through to them. I was told I'd be getting an update at 9pm (my dog stayed overnight) and nothing came. I called around 855pm as they were nearly closed and I was sent to some third party answering business that took down my name, phone number, and name of animal, for an answering service. They never called back. My only contact was the next morning when I called myself to get an update. I was told the doctor just got in and would call me shortly. 5 and a half hours go by and I decide to call myself. That's when nobody answered the phone for 5 calls. Terrible service, I hope my dog was at least taken care of.

Peter Meyer

I was more than happy to get my 3 male cats neutered here i booked a appointment and they were in in less than a week. Very professional, very nice staff. Only charged about 1/3 of what it costs at most other establishments, hands down 5 stars all the way!! Keep up the amazing work you guys, ill definitely be referring you to others!!! ????????????

Rob Burkett

Called this hospital after my puppy ate a bunch of chocolate and there call center said this number was for emergencies only and this wasn't an emergency and my puppy later on died. This isn't a animal hospital there a fraud don't go too these people or call them unless you want too burrie your dog.

Kris Pucci

Friendly and courteous staff. Clean store. Highly recommend.

My mom is a senior brought her little pug there and they charged her over $200 and took blood tests and could not tell her what was wrong and could not even tell if the dog was fixed. They just gave her medication and a can of food but couldnt even say what it was for.It sad when its all about the money.

Christine Yanish

Dr Tan is very caring and professional. I have a foster cat that I've now adopted. He needs anxiety meds and Vanessa was very helpful with getting the right meds to me.

LOVE Mercy Animal Hospital! Our Honey was under their care for a skin issue and with their care and support - she was better in no time and the best part, she was off expensive monthly meds!! We cannot thank them enough for being so caring and for all the friendly staff. Our Honey means the world to us and the fact they were so attentive to her, we won't be going anywhere else!

Samantha Duval

Dr. Shereen and the team at Mercy have always given our cats the best of care and attention! Says a lot when our "particular" cat Spartacus let's Dr. Shereen pet AND examine him! ???? Never disappointed with the care and advice given.

Pet Therapy

We switched over to this vet about 2 months ago we had two sick cats. One we ended up euthanizing, they were incredibly thoughtful, compassionate and supportive. My one cat was hospitalized there, and I was able to come in and visit her in the back, or in a private room. If I happened to be visiting while they were feeding/administering medication for my pet, they included me in the process. This made me feel really secure and good about my choice. They are fantastic with following up, and the vet returns calls that day. While my cat was in their care, they were very good about calling me during the day to give me an update. Also their ease of doing business is impressive. I can call in the morning, and in the evening/weekends I have an appointment. They have extended hours so very easy to make appointments without missing any work. Dr. Sheila is fantastic, she listens, asks lots of questions, is very kind and caring with our remaining cat, and will try to work within your budget to give the best care for your pet. What they quote is generally what they charge, I found them to be reasonably priced and I don't feel like they view me as a walking piggy bank. I highly recommend this clinic. I've had pets all my life, and this is one of the best experiences I've ever had with a vet.

Nadine Wachter

I was very grateful to the staff here, my cat got quite sick, quite quickly around 7pm and they were able to get me in last minute, an hour before they closed. Dr. Nash checked him over, offered 2 options for me to decide on with additional information if plan A didn’t do the trick. They offer a follow up appointment at no cost to ensure the treatment is working. The pricing was very reasonable.

Nikki Watt

My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and they were able to help me out. They took great care of my cat. The fees were very reasonable and they were polite and respectful. My cat is much healthier from being treated. Great job!

Blair Phillipson

Other than failing to quote $310 of overnight fees @ $155 per night and calling me when they said they would to provide an update everything was great. Payment plan over 90 days, friendly staff, better rates than most hospitals.

C-Lou

amazing customer service! Brought our senior dog Buddy in; and he was treated with such great care! The vet took the time to listen, to ask questions, and to sit on the floor with Buddy before the exam. Turns out the previous vet at a different location gave my dog many meds and he was stoned! He is now off of those and onto joint support, and a nightly med...and has improved 100% in THREE days! We are now customers for life with our senior dog and our new puppy!

Kristal Moore

My cat Bandit has received care for fleas at this vet for years and they are amazing!

Today was my second visit at this pet hospital as a foster parent with GEARS animal rescue. The front desk staff are always friendly, and Dr. Mills was incredibly caring and thorough with my foster puppy. You can tell they all love animals. I initially went to this facility because they work closely with GEARS rescue animals while they are in foster care, but I will continue to visit this vet with my own 2 dogs :)

Robyn Lanigan

staff are nice and vets seemed nice as well but .... When we took our Doberman in to get neutered they wanted us to pick him up right after they were done not thinking that dobermans have blood clotting problems and should be watched for a few hours after surgery. When we picked him up he was still very drugged up and could hardly walk. After a while at home we noticed how cold he was and not responding to us, his balls were the size of an orange and were black blue purple coloured , filling up . We had to put heat pads on him and take him to the emergency vet that night having to pay a huge vet bill. We called the vet the next day and they said / did nothing about it. This time we tried them again when my doberman had bumps/ scabs / dry skin ... Vet spent 45 mins with us and out of those 45 mins he looked at his skin for 2 seconds gave us a few antibiotics and sent us home . He never took a skin scrapping to actually see what it was . Now everything is coming back again only a week or so later. The money we put into them to fix my dog and they did nothing but make us waste our money plus spend MORE money at an emergency vet right after seeing them .

Ryan

Duke has been coming here for 1.5 years now! He loves all the staff! Couldn’t imagine doing to a better vet clinic! Highly recommend

Dr. Nash is TERRIBLE. & so is this clinic. After our last visit there we decided to stop going to this clinic (because of many recent claims of animal negligence from the doctor) & luckily since our last visit we had not needed to go to another until now. During that time we had moved across Canada. So starting here in a new province finding a new vet was tricky. We needed tick medication. The clinic here said if our old clinic had prescribed it before they could be sent over an prescription & we wouldn’t need to bring our dog in. I called Mercy & they told me it was around a $15 charge to do that.. what? For a piece of paper. Okay, I needed it so I e-transferred. A couple months later we needed to see a vet for an ear infection my dog had. This clinic had asked if our old one could email them the files they had for our dog (previous hospitalizations/nooo surgeries or anything he was in for) so I called & asked. Now I was told it was around a $45 charge for a simple email! I told the receptionist that this was not right & could understand why his business is now going downhill. I got off the phone with them & called ABVMA to inquire. They told me that this is not right & they strongly advise against these types of charges to clients. So I called Mercy back to relay this information, & that I would really like my files as my dog needed to be seen at a new vet. The receptionist told me that doctor Nash would have to call me back when he gets in (she wasn’t sure when he would come in, apparently he shows up on his own accord). Well that was 3-4 days ago & I’m still waiting on a phone call. Luckily other clinics aren’t greedy like this one. & luckily other clinics don’t treat patients & clients as poor as they do here at Mercy.

This is one of the best vet clinics I have been to. The front staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Dr. Steve is an amazing vet he truly cares about the animals and you can tell is passionate about his job. I would highly recommend this clinic!

We brought our puppy as an emergency on a long weekend, from the time we phoned to the time he was admitted was maybe half an hour. Our dog had swallowed a pack of gum and the vet and staff took care of him right away, they were very friendly and reassuring and stayed in touch with us to let us know the status of our puppy. Hopefully we never have to bring him back but if we do we know he will be in the best care.

harmony nolan

I called the same day and got my cat in immediately! Very caring staff and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend coming here

I needed to take an injured cat to a vet very last minute on a weekend and they were very accommodating. They were very kind and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them!

Spent a total of 5 minutes with the Dr. Tan, and it was the worst vet experience I've ever had. He walked in the room and said "woah" reacting to the benign wart on my dogs neck. He was not sympathetic whatsoever, and before we even agreed to do a treatment, he began to shave over the warts causing them to bleed. He was willing to work with our requests and remove the wart without sedation, but after he abruptly left the room, the reception returns with a CPR consent form; informing us that less than 5% of dogs resuscitate from administration of CPR. Why would my dog need CPR if we weren't using sedation? She leaves, comes back and scraps the form, then she goes on saying they will need a $200 deposit for the treatment. Mind you we spent 5 minutes with the doctor, confused and upset because he aggravated the warts, everything felt rushed, he did not explain the process or any type of protocol, he just fixed a price then left the room. Unprofessional and not compassionate. I strongly recommend you do not take your animals to this clinic.

Susan

Great friendly staff and luv the resident cat!

Tracey K

The last time I took my cat to a vet clinic it was very stressful for him, he hissed, cried, balled up, and wouldn't even let me touch him, the vet couldn't even examine him. I was so worried about trying a new vet and having to leave him alone, but after filling out paperwork and getting his weight I could see and hear he was much more relaxed here, there was no crying or balling, he just sat quietly observing. I felt very comfortable leaving him in their care and upon pick up I could tell he was comfortable here too. The staff was very informative and caring. Thanks again everyone at Animal Mercy, Budly is so happy with his new hair cut and clean bill of health!

Rachel Brace

As a dog owner for the past 15 years I have tried many different veterinarians in the Edmonton area. I have been very pleased with the service, prices and care my 2 dogs have received at Mercy Animal Hospital. Our 8 year old basset hound just recently had a dental cleaning done and everything went smoothly. The vets really seem to be animal lovers and care about the welfare of your pet, not just their paycheck at the end of the day.

Brandy Spence

We are so grateful to Mercy Animal Hospital for always taking such great care of our dogs. They are quick to get us in for urgent care when we have needed and are very thorough when giving us instructions to care for our dogs at home. All their staff are caring and gentle with our girls. I've even had the experience of xrays on our pregnant dog and first wellness checkup, vaccines and microchipping with 6 puppies and I highly recommend Mercy Animal Hospital.

Ashley Sirr

Amazing experience everytime I go in. They’ve always gotten me in last minute always super friendly and affordable.

Amanda Jespersen

Very accommodating, able to get appointments fairly quickly. Staff are always very patient and friendly with all my pets! Prices seem fair compared with other vets I've tried and they dont seem to push you as much as some places to get extra work done if you dont feel its necessary. All our visits have been great!

Maria Andreoglou

I love taking my dog there because I know she is in good hands. The service is great and the staff very friendly. I highly recommend Mercy Animal Hospital at Namao Center

Truly the best Veterinary facility I have ever experienced. Over the many years of owning or being owned I should say , by my furbabys. This by far was five stars plus. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing for those nervous about seeing a doctor. The Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable They are meticulous to your family members needs. Dr Shareen is caring and honest. You can see this with the way animals respond to her. They love her. Always trust your furbaby, They know who's a good person. This facility will not disappoint.

Elena Nykolaychuk

- They are really not good at communicating. They once called me three times in the span of 5 minutes because the other staff didn't realize I had been called already. They kept confusing my dog's treatment and giving me incorrect information. - They charge you for everything. EVERY. LITTLE. THING. - They don't explain options to you, don't keep you updated, and then just slap you with the bill. - They make no real effort to make you or your pet feel at ease. - They seemed to be very inefficient. I was always there a minimum of 2 hours. We are switching vets.

Xavier Mankasingh

I would highly recommend Mercy Animal Hospital. They were all super sweet to my slighty feral kitten. Dr. Nash was amazing with my kitty and super patient, especially when she hissed at him in anger. I’m currently a student so their prices are super reasonable and very helpful.

Rachel Peloquin

A few days ago It was my cat Tucker’s first vet visit from illness. At first I was a bit hesitant but I am grateful I chose to take him to this vet. All the staff really worked hard to make sure everything was okay,. They kept me updated on what was happening and took great care of my cat, to me that’s what was most important to me. The fact that the cost was cheaper then I expected was just a bonus. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best for their pet. Pets are more then just pets they are family and they deserve the best and this vet showed me they believe that as well so Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my kitty feel better !

Kristy Horner

Not impressed by this place. We buy a special dog food and we've been buying it here for months. Went in last week to pick up another bag and the girl at the counter told us the price had increased by management...WOW, sure did...up 30%. Over $140 a bag! We went downtown to another clinic, same food and same bag for $118. the girl said the food was really popular, so seems liek they raised the price for that reason, very unfair. We feel taken advantage of

W. Bron

I was quoted from another clinic for some teeth work on one of our cats that was too much for us to pay, so I asked Mercy hospital what they would charge for the same procedure and they said it would only be half of what the other vet wanted. They were professional, kind and caring with us and our cat. Exceeded our expectations!

The only reason this vet clinic gets 4 stars is because they were able to fit me in at 8pm when my dog was having diarrhea everywhere. This saved me a trip to the emergency vet which would have been far more expensive. However, I would never take my dog here for regular care. 1) my dog wasn’t feeling well, was wearing a harness, and the vet grabbed her by her collar and pulled her across the floor towards him. She didn’t need to be grabbed by the neck - she’s a small dog and had a harness. 2) I called three times to book a follow up appointment when she was still having diarrhea a week later, and I emailed as well - I never heard back from them. So if you have a basic emergency that can be treated with metronidazole, and you can actually get them to pick up the phone when no other vet is open to avoid an expensive emergency get, by all means… book your dog here.

Cassie Bailey

Best vet in Edmonton!! Everyone is so caring and really loves animals! Dr Shereen is such a sweetheart!! She takes such good care of my little Vinny!!

Terri-Lynne Dalueg

We go to Mercy for both of our fur babies. And absolutely love the service we get from the all the staff and Dr. Tan. We aways know my babies are great hands when we leave them with Dr. Tan and Donna Schurman. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Tam, Chris are very professional to take care my dog's problem, and the office staff are very attentive to my concerns, thanks!

The vet would not examine my dog, but charged me for the exam. Molly was so stressed out. I Will never go there again. Please do not go there if you have an anxious dog. The doctor was late for my appointment which caused molly to be more anxious.

Mercy Animal Hospital is fantastic! They truly care for your animals and make sure that we understand what’s going on with our animals! The ladies I have spoken with are so sweet and so caring! I’m so glad I switched to mercy! :)

IF YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR PET AVOID THIS CLINIC. At first they seem to be caring but you will soon discover otherwise. Messages and appointments will quickly fall on deaf ears and scheduling is an absolute mess. Staff do not pass along messages, do not have prescriptions ready for pick up and make you feel like you have inconvenienced them. The down right ignorance of this staff clearly has shown it's true colors. Unprofessional staff, they should be fired from ever providing care and have zero compassion for the animals and customers. I will say Dr. Nash is a skilled surgeon and his staff has me convinced he is constantly in surgery or out of the office not knowing when he will be available. At this point I do believe this is all about the money and not the best care for your pet as many others have indicated as well. Oh and they sure want you to post positive reviews until your next in line to be treated like garbage with rudeness that is unbecoming a professional health provider for pets. I WRITE THIS REVIEW TO SERVE AS A WARNING TO OTHERS WHO WANT THE BEST CARE FOR THEIR PETS THEY CHERISH. Don't believe me, wait and you will experience this as well...Truly Sad!

I love the clinic it’s always clean, the staff are very friendly and take care of your animals and their best interest. They always make sure that the animal is in the best care. Love this place, I have been going to them for almost 3 years and my dog is always well taken care of.

Esther Neill

I was very pleased with the service I received. Everyone was eager to help answer the questions I had also helped me to make positive decisions. It was a pleasure to visit with my puppy and receive sound advice.

Maria Moore

Dr Steve mills and his assistant are amazing! I am beyond impressed with them, they were both so thorough and helpful . I'll never go anywhere else

Brenda Johnston

HAD TO LEAVE MY PUUPY OVER NIGHT AND THEY ALL MADE ME FEEL OK TO DO SO

Alex Mackay

All the staff are great and very passionate about pet care. They have very quickly addressed any questions or concerns I have experienced post surgery with Finnegan.

Deborah McIsaac

Dr. “Nash” and his team are truly the best. I’ve never seen this type of dedication in any industry. Thank you for being there ❤️

My girl got injured and Mercy was the only Vet that could take her in asap and stay after hours for her. The team and the vet were great and they took great care of my dog. She has healed and is back to her normal self. Thank you Mercy Hospital for taking care of my Nala.

Max Power

Terrible place. Terrorized my dog, insisted on a surgery that he didn't need at that time and during said surgery died, stay far-away from this place and after my dog got killed by them they hound me for 6200$ with all sorts of threats

Gregory Card

Mercy animal hospital is a very very good animal hospital they took care of my Theo when he had Crystal's in his urine very professional absolutely recommend

So happy I chose the Mercy Clinic to provide my pup, Aarlow, with all his veterinary needs. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They make it clear that they genuinely care for my fur child as he is always greeted with treats and pets when he is most scared.

Alyssa Hryciw

Friendly and extremely helpful staff! Also, pretty affordable compared to other veterinarian offices. Highly recommend.

We went twice to Mercy Animal Hospital to vaccinate our puppy. Jan 2021, and February 2021. The first time we got some pretty poor advice about puppy biting. The second time we were told his vaccines were complete. When I went to sign up our puppy for daycare recently, I went to check the expiry date of the vaccines. Discovered that he wasn't given a rabies shot and a third distemper. However in his booklet the rabies shot was checked off but the entire Feb round of shots weren't initialed. They listed our Chocolate Labrador Retreiver as a Golden retreiver when we got him chipped, I"m not sure how they mistook his brown coat for a golden one. Due to Covid I wasn't allowed in to observe his vaccinations which is understandable but I trust that a Veterinary Hospital would make sure their vaccination records were complete. Now I discovered we have been walking and playing with other dogs without being completely vaccinated and need to wait two weeks after booking a rabies appointment elsewhere before he is completely immune. On top of that when I called, I was forwarded to a call center who didn't have access to his records and was not very helpful at all.

It's difficult when you have a pet with health issues. When emergencies arise you should be able to rely on your veterinary hospital. Mercy animal hospital and it's sister outlet on the South side, have been amazing to us and my cats. Thank you.

Malik Lasker

“Dr. Ignacio “Nash” Tan and his staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable. By far the best experience I have ever had with a veterinary team. They care as much about our animals as we do. I'm so glad I have found this clinic."

Lexy Winter

They took amazing care of my kitty who needed 16 teeth pulled. They were able to book him in right away, and were very informative about before and after care. Super reasonably priced, friendly and professional. Thank you mercy ♥️♥️

This vet is only about money. Don’t believe them when they say they care, they put my dog in hypoallergenic formula that if you read the manufacturers label says that’s it’s for short term use and can actually cause cancer, low thyroid and other illnesses, which of course led us down a deeper path of tests, more medication and more visits. They also gave my dog a shot during covid but instead charged me for it and forgot to actually administer it, when called out they denied it and said if we want another one we would have to oag This is just a sample of the type of things they do. If you love your animal DON’T take them here or they will leave with even more health complications.

FantasyTabby

Dr. Nash is awesome. I've taken 2 of my cats here and each and everytime he's been thorough and explained our options. The staff is super friendly and even gave a discount off our bill for multiple cats. I know it's not about money with this vet, they are just caring individuals who want to help.

Jake Andrich (Jakipz)

Great staff & veterinarian's, always in good hands when taking care of my puppy

Sharlee Hammer

My cat Pixie was really sick and they were absolutely fantastic in their care and consideration to not only Pixie but a very worried cat Momma and put up with all my phone calls to check on her progress in getting better as she was in the hospital for 3 days. Love how they care.

Roman Holovatch

Good service for a good price.

Mark James Carlyle

Took my injured cat here and they were quick and the bill was under 150$ including meds. These guys will get all my business.

This vet is phenomenal. They are caring and considerate. The have so much compassion for the animal but also very respectable towards the owners. I love how well they explain everything. They don’t try to seem to push you out the door. I also like the prices and how every price is described when asked.

Michael-Anne McMurdo

I had suffered a crisis of faith with my vet. My dog needed care. Someone suggested Mercy. By the time the appointment was over I was feeling very comfortable as was my dog. Dr. Haneen is kind and compassionate. She is knowledgeable and willingly explains things as needed. I am thankful I made the choice I did

neilpk70

My Jack Russell terrier loved her recent visit for a checkup!

Caleigh Bell-Morena

I had a good experience here the first two times I brought my dog so I decided to bring my cats as well. I called them to ask for one of my cats vaccine records because I’d like to get him groomed and they wanted to charge me $35. That’s absolutely ridiculous when we’ve already paid them for their service.

michelle marie

first I have to say the administration staff is wonderful though, very pleasant and easy to work with did not have to wait long for the appointment, kitty as super happy when we picked him up. my kitten dislocated a bone in his back leg. I thought paying $400.00 would be worth it for xrays and diagnostics....but the veterinarian seemed very inexperienced, had very little knowledge on if my cat would need surgery or not, have very little instruction, not to mention the 20 minute wait after my kitten was discharged for the pain medication....he was supposed to give me a referral to an orthopedic surgeon...I never got that.... this was my second visit. I had my cat spayed their a few months ago and everything went very well shes happy and healthy.....so maybe my experience with the emergency was not the best but for routine procedures and day to day stuff is good...but I'm still unclear on what the vet recomened and that was why I took him their because he is hurt amd was in pain....he still lips and idk what if anything I can do....still confused on what to do.

I have been taking my Dog Louie to mercy for the last 5 years . Every time we park outside he is so excited to see everyone there. Keep in mind he’s usually there for an ear to infection or annual shots. That should tell you something!!! The Drs and the staff are the best there is and always take their time with us humans and our beloved animals. Thank you Mercy for everything you do because you do it with understanding and pride!!!!

My dog had severe diarrhea and I was referred to this hospital by my own vet. They saw me after hours on the same day which I was very grateful for! I brought a stool sample in for testing and Dr. Tan gave me some options for treatment in absence of the results which I was told would take 1-3 days. I was also asked if I wanted to purchase special food for sensitive stomachs or prepare my own. I declined to purchase the food and waited for my bill to be prepared for the visit, stool test and anti biotics. The point of sale terminal was brought into my room and I paid. To my surprise, a worker came in shortly after with a bag of food and my receipt. I asked why she brought the bag and she showed me on the receipt that I paid for it. I told her I didn't want it which she took back and refunded me the money. I left the appointment anxiously waiting for the results. I did not get a call back 3 days later and wanting to give some lee way due to covid delays waited 7 days. Still no call so I called them back and was told results can take 7-10 days. I waited until the 10th day and no call back 4 more days after that. Finally, I called back again on the 15th day and was told "oh I'm sorry no one called you....the results were in." I spoke to Dr. Tan and was told the cause of my dog's illness was bacterial and the antibiotics I initially purchased should take care of it. Thank God I made the right decision but the absolute lack of professionalism is ridiculous! When I expressed to Dr. Tan how upset I was and the anguish I felt as a pet parent not knowing what was wrong with my dog because they failed to give me the results, there's nothing they can do for 2 weeks of a nightmare AND that I was not a happy customer I was told "sounds good" and abruptly dismissed off of the phone.

I called Monday morning because my puppy was having issues breathing. They got him in so quick to see a vet, and have even called to check in on him since our visit. I honestly felt like the vet and staffed cared more about my dogs well being than charging me. It’s refreshing to have a vets office be so kind and quick. I will recommend this vet to anyone who asks and my puppy will continue to come here for anything he needs. Thank you so much

Lise blais

I must say that this hospital is really here for us. Quick response in case of emergency with follow up. Thank you all

Amber Hupka

Would not take me dog here ever after what they did to our family dog.

Storm “schlorm”

Brought our (geriatric) Lion head rabbit for a wellness check/nail trim and was accommodated with our request of being in the exam room with him, which truly meant the world. After having a not so great experience elsewhere we were quite wary but were quickly proven wrong with their willingness to help on short notice and their quick response time. The staff is also so kind, passionate and knowledgeable. THANKS DR.TAN AND TEAM!

Jennifer Taylor

We brought our cat in for excessive vomiting and weight loss. After hours of waiting and blood tests they said it looked like he had an infection and acid reflux. We spent hundreds on the vet bills, prescription antacid and specialized food. Nothing helped. He continued to get weaker so we went to a different vet who in less than 30 minutes was able to diagnose him with pancreatic cancer that had spread and we ended up having our cat out down that day. As a vet, mistaking a diagnoses of cancer for acid reflux is not acceptable especially after spending $700 on blood work and tests that SHOULD have caught this. Will never recommend.

Dr Tan is fantastic. He never disappoints or leaves me questioning. He did my girls spay over 2 years ago and she healed beautifully. He recently treated her after a week and a half of visits/stays at the vet emergency with no resolution and he had her back to herself within hours. While she was in a different emerg he looked over her chart, had a phone conversation with me and gave thoughts for me to take to the other vets caring for her. The more eyes the better sometimes! I’m so thankful for his willingness to take the time to help troubleshoot and lead us through all of my little ones needs (she’s 4lbs) Thank you so much !

This was our first visit to this place. The staff were friendly and our appt was on time which is important to me.

Liliya Sukhy

Excellent service! Everyone is very friendly and helpful!

Allana Perry

I have been in to visit with my puppy to get his immunizations and now again recently to get neutered. A must to be responsible, but hard to do to someone you love. They treated him very well and me very well, every time I have gone in for an appointment. They even do complimentary toe nail clipping, which I also don't like doing so it has been so beneficial. I just got a follow up call from Rockies surgery and they said they fell in love with him when he was in for the day. It warmed my heart. I recommended them at the dog park due to their friendly staff, professional vets at a competitive price. I recommend it for you.

This place is only worry about how much you will pay them, they should not call them self mercy hospital but come in we will steal you money, they charge me 300 % over price from drug store taking advantage of sick animals. Check price somewhere else before this place robe you !!!

Katarina Reandy

We took our 2 cats in to be spayed. From initial email contact to pick up each staff member we spoke to was lovely. They answered all of our questions and took very good care of our babies. Thank you!

Linna N

I am so thankful for the quality work Dr. Shereen does. She is my go-to for both of my dogs but she especially took care of my older dog who had some dental work done. She was able to catch some serious issues and fix them and gave a straight and honest opinion on others. She even gave us a general checkup and was able to catch some other issues that I should be aware of. The overall fee for the procedures are in my opinion a fair price for the quality of work she does and the time spent for follow up check-ups but it might be a steeper price in comparison to out of town clinics. I've been to clinics where the quotes were almost a scam compared to this clinic.

The staff are welcoming and friendly with great service for your pet. They answer all your questions regarding your pet. Reasonable price rates for your pet.

Straightforward, reasonable, professional and compassionate. After our dog starting having some issues with mobility and hair loss we had gone to see our previous vet and had a Thyroid panel run as she met literally every symptom we could find in research. After paying nearly $200 for an independent lab test they tried to convince us to run a series of other unnecessary and never before mentioned tests before they would treat her condition. I called Mercy and they saw us immediately (from phone to exam in 20 minutes with a 10 minute drive). They took our concerns seriously, provided treatment immediately and did an in-depth and professional job explaining the treatment with full disclosure of costs, followup requirements and projected improvement timelines. This will be our Vet going forward 100%

The staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. They took care of my cat immediately; got him in for blood and urine testing and had the results within half an hour even though it was a 7pm appointment. The veterinarian took his time to explain the results and solution to me.

I took my dog in the vet on Oct 18 not the women vet that has delt with my dog before but some other vet a male because we believed my dog was pregnant the vet came in took one look at my dog and said no she is not pregnant well here is the kicker on Nov 11 my poor dog gave birth to 10 yes 10 puppies I cant believe it well it get worse on first the 19 of dec we had to take my uncles little dog into the vet cause she went blind and a older dog we knew she had to be put to sleep well the same male vet was there they took us into a room the took the dog to put a iv in her leg so they could give her meds to put her to sleep the vet came in took a needle and went to put into the line well to my surprise the dog winned in pain jumped around and was hurt the vet then wrapped this helpless dog.in a blanket and took her out of the room a few mins later he came and got me and said she had passed away well I brought the dog to the vet so she didn't suffer but he made her suffer any way she was not in pain until that so called vet screwed up I would recomend that you stay fat away from that vet as you can he is clueless and incompetent I would not send my worst enemy pet there

Karima Leslie

Great service, we came in with an emergency and they got our dog in right away and knew what to do

Rosie Nguyen

The vet couldnt be bothered to talk to us. its is very clear that all he cares about is money and NOT our pet.

Miranda Hansler

Since my first experience with this clinic, all the staff have gone far beyond expectations for myself and my fur baby. Their compassion, knowledge and professionalism shines through in every interaction with both humans and animals. They have never failed to completely address any concerns or questions I have had and have eased my mind many times because their number one concern is always animals being happy and healthy! They also have the best prices I have encountered as a pet owner.

Olga Krot

Excellent high professional service.

Caroline Livesey

Always awesome with my two crazies!

simply clean

Overall we had a great experience- not sure if it’s just a vet thing but we were charged 200$ more than we were originally quoted. The vet did take care of some cosmetic things on my dog without charge but I received two in clinic quotes so I felt that they should honour those quotes within reason.

soomi kreep

Most caring people I’ve ever dealt with . Thank you for everything !

Very helpful and took great care of our dog when we had an emergency!

The Staff at Mercy Animal Hospital and Dr. Shereen Heneen are incredible. They've looked after 3 of our animals now... 2 kitties one pooch. Dr. Shereen has excellent bedside manner, is very easy to talk to, patient and great with our furbabies. Both of our kitties had complicated surgeries, both came out exceptionally good health. Our latest had a giant cyst that needed to be removed on her head, and a spay (at 13 years old)! The surgery went great and kitty is like a new kitty. The pricing is on point, if not very good considering other vets and we've been to a few to find the best ones, that we can finally say we have. Definitely our family furbaby doctors. HIGHLY recommend.

Taylor Cox

The staff is so always wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are really reasonable and you can tell that they care about all the animals. They have also handled the CODVID situation so well. Well done Mercy!

Mandy Tops

Awesome. Quality service. They made my puppy feel so calm and she didn't even notice the vaccines she had.

Lloy Williams

Dr. Tan has been my dogs' vet for many years and he is excellent. He is very good at diagnosing health issues, and is an excellent surgeon. Sadly, he had to remove the eye of one of our Yorkies, and removed a growth from the other. In both cases, his work was excellent, matching the best result pictures I could find on the internet. I highly recommend Dr. Tan.

I brought in my new kitten on Nov.10. The staff were friendly, the vet was not. He treated my kitten (ear mites) and weighed him. That was it. I asked the vet tech to get his heart checked and to verify male parts were distended so she took him to the back where the vet was. The vet literally left the room under 5 minutes even while I was mid question. Gave me no follow up care instructions. 5 days later I am booking with another vet to get the full health check he deserves as well as his ears treated again. ANY vet would be better and care more. Don't waste $140 like I did.

LINDA OSLAND

First experience, very positive, with two felines. Staff were friendly, courteous, & efficient. No wait time & they were compassionate & caring with Jaffa & Riley. I would recommend Mercy Animal Clinic & plan on taking my two dogs for their wellness exams at Mercy.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Mercy. My "senior" (almost-12-year-old) Pomeranian Yorkie required major dental work/surgery earlier this year and I was quite anxious about putting her through such a difficult procedure. Dr. Shereen was calming, reassuring, open and very professional. She took the time to explain the procedure and risks, as well as the recovery/follow-up process. I am happy to say that my little fur baby pulled through it and is doing great... and her ears still perk up whenever I say "Dr. Shereen." I highly recommend this place to everyone who asks.

Jeri Shperuk

Took both my kitties to get spayed- very reasonable pricing and was able to get me in within a week! Other places I called it was months to get an appointment. After they were done I brought my doggie to get some dental work, again super reasonable for having 29 teeth removed!! Would definitely recommend!!

Noelle Piche

Dr. Shereen and the staff at Mercy are kind, compassionate and caring. They are always very patient with my little biter : ) Koal had his teeth cleaned for the first time and they did a fantastic job! Dr. Shereen and Jennifer gave me suggestions for his teeth and they have, in stock, all the supplies and food that we need. We love Mercy : )

Alexia Rowe

Brought my dog in for a sore on her foot, was an open wound that became inflamed and infected. Brought her in for a second time to get the wound closed and they only said it wasnt severe enough. Third time I brought her in they say she isnt healing properly and put staples in. When I returned her to get the staples out they told me they put more in because the wound still had not closed and was becoming more severe. I brought up the fact it was claimed as not severe previously and that the denied to close the wound when I asked. When I became upset the vet told me I was rude and had an attitude then proceeded to yell at me. Then told me I'm not allowed back, and refuses to take the staples out of my dog now and is forcing me to see a different vet. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, they do not know what they're doing.

Nancy Broatch

I was recommended here by a friend of mine to bring my new puppy. Everyone there was so great and Charlotte didn’t freak out for the most part( minus the pesky nail clip lol). I would definitely recommend this vet for your furry friends!

Davina Perry

I called and said my dog needed antibiotics and she asked me if I wanted a checkup as well. I asked how much, she said 35. I agreed. I didn't know antibiotics could be administered without a checkup, but they can't. The lady I spoke with must of not known what she was talking about because the checkup was 75.60 and there would of been no way to get anything without an appointment. And apparently all the staff have been there for 4 months or longer. I would not recommend this place.

Dina Pinzari

Our cat's health condition worsened suddenly; he could not breathe and the prognosis was bad, with little chance for recovery. We were facing the painful decision about euthanasia when Dr. Nash and Momin came with a special intensive treatment plan, just to give our pet one more chance. They put so much effort, time and dedication, and it worked - they managed to stabilize our cat's condition and to save him. It happened to be on an weekend, and they even worked over their regular shift to make sure that the cat could breathe on his own. We would like to express our gratitude to this team, who has provided our cat with loving care and life saving treatment. A big THANK YOU to Momin, who went above and beyond and who was so generous with his time and compassion. Thank you all the doctors and staff members for all your efforts and good job!

Professional, friendly and very reasonable priced. I don't think you'll find better pricing than Mercy Animal Hospital.

Unbelievably happy and grateful for the service I have received here. They welcomed my little guy and I with open arms after hours so I was very happy

Made an appointment, showed up and was told they were at capacity and they'd call when my cats appointment was done. Not really understanding I asked if I should come back later, or make a different appointment or what and the extremely hostile lady at the door said "well if you insist" and let me into the waiting room. Currently I have no idea what's going on, if I'm waiting for ten minutes or six hours, if I could or should come back later or what but don't feel like getting yelled and then sighed at by the secretary. Edit: Got my cat, have no idea what was done to her or what is wrong with her other than I'm to give her ear drops twice a day. The lady who gave me the ear drops couldn't tell me what they were or did. It also became clear while waiting that they asking people to drop their pets off and wait in their vehicles due to the pandemic (a very sensible and reasonable request). Had this at ANY POINT been made clear OBVIOUSLY I would have went and chilled in my car or grabbed dinner or whatever. "You'll have to come back" with no further explanation followed by frustration was what I got when what I desperately needed was "Wait in your car, we'll call you." A later edit: They also charge to transfer medical records, which no other vet I've been to does, and after charging me never sent the records. This place tries to get you in and out asap and wring you for ever cent. They dont give two figs about you or your pet.

Dr.Nash is kind, thorough and knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If your dog is having skin problems or has suspected allergies, I highly recommend Mercy Animal Hospital, specifically Dr. Shereen. Our dog, Juno (3.5 year old yellow lab X mastiff) started showing signs of allergies/skin condition in December 2018 (4 months after we got our second dog, Brutus, a 4 year old lab X St. Bernard). We immediately went to our regular vet who prescribed a steroid and tried cytopoint injection. It worked a little, but as time went on her symptoms got increasingly worse. Soon after, Brutus started showing similar signs, but no where near as bad as Juno’s skin. We went to our vet (not Mercy Animal Clinic yet) probably 10 times, where they kept prescribing a steroid, doing a muscle test to rule out house hold allergens, and put us on a vet grade food. Unfortunately, this did not work, and they referred us to the dermatology specialist vet. By May 2019 (5 months of dealing with this) Juno’s symptoms were so bad that we could not leave her alone. My dad had to come stay at our house during the day to protect her from itching herself. Even though we had a ton of protective barriers to stop her from itching (a muzzle, a cone, a specialized body suit, booties and leggings to protect her tail) we still came home to her ripping her skin open because she was so itchy. It broke our hearts completely; she was in so much pain and she had totally lost her personality. She became a quiet, afraid, reclusive dog and she wouldn’t eat and didn’t want to play. We genuinely thought that if we couldn’t get her healthy, we may have to put her down because she was in such agony. Our previous vet had given us a referral to the dermatology vet, but that wasn’t until July 2019, and we couldn’t wait that long. We heard great things about Mercy Animal Hospital and so we booked as soon as we could to try for a second opinion while we waited for the dermatology vet. Our first appointment was on May 24, 2019 and we were blown away. Dr. Shereen patiently listened to our whole story and everything we had tried. She genuinely cared for Juno and she took our concerns very seriously. Our appointment was probably 3 hours long and she was incredibly thorough. She cast a wide net of blood work, skin scrapings and different types of medications with the main goal being to reduce her pain and increase her comfort. We finally felt like we were heard and we felt that we had light at the end of the tunnel to focus on to get us through. Dr Shereen gave us hope that Juno could pull through. Jen, who I believe is the office manager, also helped us a great deal by helping us to access money we were owed from our insurance and helped us to sort everything out and saved us SO much money. We left that day with a plan and a lot of meds and a lot of hope. Dr Shereen called us every few days to see how things were going, and we were so pleased to report she was looking and feeling better. By mid-June she was doing so well that we cancelled the dermatology vet appointment! Today is July 21, 2019 and we saw Dr Shereen yesterday and Juno looks amazing. She is completely back to herself: Her skin is healthy and her personality is vibrant again. The hardest part of all of this is that we are expecting a baby in November (yay!) but we were so afraid of how we would manage the sick dog with an infant. Dr Shereen and her team were so supportive and helpful and we really felt like they cared so much about Juno and getting her healthy again. Juno now doesn’t have to wear any of her gear. She is on one medication and a specialized food, and she is happy and healthy as can be. Thank you Dr Shereen and the team at Mercy Vet Clinic for everything, you saved us and Juno!

Brought my 1 yr old pup in for booster shots and check up. She was quite scared and the staff were absolutely amazing in making her at ease. ALL the staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my girl to any other vet! You guys are all so amazing. Thank you

Reasonable prices, in comparison with other good vets, front staff were amazing to my fur babies. Amazing experience, thank you mercy animal hospital staff.

The staff is super friendly doctor super nice my only complaint is they offer “text updates” my dog went in for surgery I dropped him off at 9am I waited 5HOURS then was fed up I had heard NOTHING. I called at 2pm and explained to them that I had been offered updated and agreed to them and had to call to know anything. The woman I spoke to said he was good surgery had started and offered to send me pictures when he got out. I had gotten a call hours later saying he was out of surgery and they would send me pictures of him. AGAIN hours went by and I have received nothing so I emailed them about him and finally got a text update. The staff is amazing super nice, doctors amazing. The reason for the poor rating is the lacking of communication. I do understand vets get busy but 5 hours is ridiculous then after complaining about the wait having to call again. I have no problem calling and checking up but the offer was there so I took it seeing as I work. If you do not have time to update owners I would suggest not offering this.

I brought in my sweet girl thinking she only needed antibiotics. She ended up needing emergency surgery as a single mom going through a divorce I was not prepared for this. They worked with me and out of the kindness of their hearts my girl is recovering and still with us. This whole clinic is full of sweet kind hearted people who will forever be in my heart for saving Mercedes life.

I have been taking my three dogs to mercy for last 3 years. Shereen is very knowlegeable, always takes her time. I have very fearful chihuahua. She is always accessible, and gives excellent care. Shereen is very compassionate , I had to make hard decision to put my 14 dog due to health issues. Shereen and staff were excellent, I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else. GREAT TEAM AT MERCY ????♥️

I would just like to say how pleased we our with the service we received from Mercy Animal Hospital. Yesterday April 10th on A holiday Good Friday, in the middle of this pandemic, our cat Jack Jack had a large lump under his eye. We knew we had to get it looked at, this Animal Hospital was terrific they spoke to us on the phone & agreed to see him. This is not our regular vet, our regular vet was unable to help due to being in self isolation. That did not matter to this clinic they saw him, & he had an abscessed tooth which needed to be removed. They ended up removing a few teeth, they treated him & our family very well. Jack Jack came home same day as the procedure & is up this morning seems almost like himself. Not happy with the meds we are giving him, but we are happy because we know it is helping him. This was our first time visiting this Hospital but I would not hesitate to bring any of my animals back. They are very caring & professional. The price we were charged was more than fair! Thank you so much from the Lefebvre family & Jack Jack.

My 2 year old beagle freaks out as soon as i am not in sight anymore at any vet.... But when i brought him here, he did not make a peep. I couldn't believe it. I was impressed by how well they handled my doggo during his X-ray and blood work. I asked to see the X-ray and he brought me right to the back to see it. He even apologized for the mess... It wasnt even that messy. The vet bill was almost a grand but thats my fault for not having pet insurance. My dog is recovering very well thanks to the meds they gave us.

dave haliburton

Amazing service, first they try to get as much info as possible about your pet and the issue. Dr Steve didn't push for extras, instead he asked if we wanted to do the procedure and the price it was letting us decide what was the best way to go. The staff were very friendly and courteous as well. All in all, a great experience for us and our dog

Mercy Animal Hospital has warm, caring and knowledgeable staff. Jennifer at the front desk is simply the best! She treats everyone like family. I have confidence in the veterinarian, Shereen, and her ability to diagnose problems and recommend affordable treatments. I trust the care of my beloved four footed family member to the wonderful staff at Mercy Animal Hospital.

Clayton Hodge

I have taken both of my kitties there and the staff are very friendly.

Lokesh Bisht

My black lab's been going there for about a year, and has always received top-notch service. Recently, he had parts of his liver and spleen removed, and the preparation, professionalism, and care of the entire staff was exemplary. They explained our options, ensured he was ready, took care of him during the surgery, and coordinated post-surgery check-ups with other hospitals as necessary. A huge thank you to all the staff!

I don’t ever want to bash a business but my experience with Mercy Animal Hospital has been nothing but awful. When I first called for an update about my cat the lady was extremely rude, she told me “you bought a sphynx you should have done your research on them. This is bound to happen” when All I wanted to know was how we could help my cat. I then was told she had to stay overnight. The next day I was never contacted so I phoned and was told that my cat was transferred to an over night clinic (that would cost me a lot more than having her in their clinic) I was very angry and was never TOLD OR INFORMED that my cat was moving. Later to find out that they had the wrong cat and mine was never moved, essentially “misplacing” my animal. Time and time again through different appointments I have asked to be communicated with and never was. I HAD to be the one to reach out and ask how my cat was. I do not recommend this vet clinic at all. It is horrendous, a vet should make you comfortable because you are going through a tough time already.

Happy Resident

Cannot recommend this clinic. Aside from a vet that is uncommunicative and unaware of the drugs this clinic prescribed for my dog, and a staff that never appears to know what’s going on, they are frustrating to deal with. When they were finally called on their inadequacies in dealing with my dog, they told me they wouldn’t deal with me anymore. That’s fine by me, but then they have the audacity to bother me with an email asking me to review their service and provide them with a recommendation? Careful what you ask for! NO, cannot recommend!
