Absolutely love the staff at LAH - their front end staff is so helpful and friendly. The vets are super good with large and small animals and make even the most complicated cases easy for a "normal" person to understand. Highly recommend - we have been using them for MANY years and always have a positive experience. Plus, our dogs and horses love their visits!

Woke up to a sick dog with signs that to me were alarming. I called the emergency line and ended up talking to a woman. Even though it was 2am she sounded awake and professional. She listened to me and took her time answering my questions and explaining things to me. She was super polite and friendly and didn’t make me feel at all like I was an inconvenience at this time of night. The number is now saved in my phone.. here’s hoping I never have to use it again but if I ever do they are who I’d want to go to!

I breed terriers & I'm often rehabilitating other dogs who've been given up by their owners. I've had everything from regular check ups to major orthopedic surgery done here & everything in between. I will always go here for an emergency over the other vet in town. They have amazing bed side manner even in the worst circumstances. They are also typically the most expensive but, I do believe you get what you pay for. Always friendly, helpful & take their time to ensure you understand what they're saying. You never feel rushed, they always go out of your way to ensure you and your pet leave happy. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital regularly.

My first and only choice when it comes to the health care of my pets in Lloydminster. I have been trusting the extremely skilled staff at Lloydminster Animal Hospital for more the 5 yrs with my fur family. From regular annual Vet health check ups and shots right through advanced and acute care when my cat Tehya tore legiments in her leg requiring surgery and Harley Doginson developed mast call cancer and required extra attention, the DMVs, Technicians and front medical office staff could be counted on for care, support and best health care advice. All the Doctors on staff at some point have played a role in the health care of my pets when Dr Taryn Schectal our primary DMV was on a call out not available. I would highly recommend any one of the team at Lloydminster Animal Hospital if you're looking for a Veterinarian to help you and your pet family when their healthcare is concerned. And don't forget to ask them about pet insurance. It's the next best thing to have along side your Veterinarian when your pets health is a concern.

The Lloydminster Animal Hospital is a wonderful clinic, and my first choice for all my animals! I became a client as a result of a relative referring me for my general equine needs, and quickly decided that it was the best choice around for all of my critters! The culture at LAH is obvious as soon as you step foot in the clinic and are greeted by the smiling, welcoming and knowledgeable administration staff. This culture remains clearly apparent no matter which of the clinic staff you may have the pleasure of interacting with. The veterinarians ensure that you are made to feel that your pets' well-being is as important to them as it is to you, the owner. I can't count the number of phone call and email inquiries I've sent over the years pertaining to nutrition, general health concerns, vaccinations, de-worming schedules etc. to which I've always received a thorough, easy to understand, and useful response. I feel that LAH has allowed me to become a more competent animal owner, and more able to provide proper, proactive care for my furry family members, for which I am very grateful.

We have had our furbabies with the animal hospital for as long as we have had them. The atmosphere is respectable, clean, well organized and very inviting. When families have had to put their loved furbabies down the animal hospital shows incredible amounts of respect and consideration! Our one dog is very male choosey and the male vets have been incredible with approaching her and gaining her confidence around me! We cant say enough positive about the care we have received! Their afterhours are incredible in the event of an emergency and we find their prices incredibly realistic and reasonable.

I have only wonderful things to say about the Animal Hospital and its staff. My one dog ended up contracting Parvo. I went first to another clinic in town, and they made me feel not only as if my dog was likely going to die, but I wouldn't be allowed to see her at all once I admitted her. The vet I talked to there was very clinical and completely unempathetic. In contrast, the vet from the Animal Hospital was compassionate, reassuring, and made me feel like everything was going to be just fine. They took wonderful care of my Pepper, and she is coming home today. They worked with me, informed me, and the front desk person was awesome. I will not take my dogs anywhere else, and I would highly recommend them.
