I cannot recommend Killarney Cat Hospital enough. I have two cats who this is their primary clinic. My one cat has a couple health issues that bring us to the vet a fairly frequent basis. We’ve been to several vets in the area and received great treatment everywhere we’ve been but Killarney Cat Hospital goes above and beyond. I always feel like my cats have been provided the best medical treatment and I’ve been provided all the information I need to know to feel confident in my cats’ health and what I need to be doing to ensure they stay healthy as possible. I trust that my cats are getting the best possible care at this clinic. I never leave feeling unsure about our visit. If we’ve been in for a specific issue I always receive multiple follow up calls to make sure we’re on the right path. After our most recent visit I received a call over a week later just to check in - it’s this level of care that emphasizes that we are at right for us. I am in the clinic often picking up food/prescriptions and every person I’ve dealt with has always been friendly and professional. The level of care my cats and I have been provided at Killarney Cat Hospital has given me to the confidence to know we can handle whatever is thrown our way. Thank you for always providing the best care for my cats (and calming me down too).

Excellent service for your cat. Covid19 protocol is in effect here. They will advise you on the process once you've booked your appointment. Their staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. They are definitely worth the drive if you're not in their neighbourhood.

Honestly, these guys are the best. When I thought I was going to have to pay thousands of dollars for CT scans and a bunch of extreme measures for my cat, they took her in and gave me a second opinion and sorted out a priceing scheme that would work for me. I was so stressed and worried about my cat and my finances, but ever since going to them I have felt calm and confident about the care my cat was getting. 10/10 The staff are funny, considerate, and nice. And if you're a freak like me, they will gladly let you keep your cats teeth if they get pulled :)

My beautiful 18yr old man needed major dental surgery and also suffers from CKD. I had received several opinions on whether or not it was the right thing to do for him at his age and through all, Dr. Lennox some how put my mind at ease explaining the pros and cons of both. She did not pressure me into any decisions, instead reassured me that she would be there to support us and treat my boy with whatever decision I make. She is an amazing, compassionate veterinarian who truly cares about her patients and their parents. She has been so easy to talk to, coming from someone who has had anxiety with veterinarians! She does whatever she can to help you, and does not let finance issues stand in the way of treating your fur babies. I cannot say enough good things - but definitely a huge thank you for everything! The staff at KCH are also wonderful and I have to give a big shout-out to Amy for her kindness, support and advice. When Dr.Lennox wasn’t available Amy was there to talk me through recovery and treatment and willing to see us on short notice for fluids, lab work etc. She is an amazing nurse! Between Dr. Lennox, Amy and everyone else at KCH, I feel comfortable knowing my boy is being well taken care of. You guys are awesome!

Great staff. I’ve got a very timid cat who had to have surgery. She hates going to the vet, or even out of the house, but she came out with v little trauma. In the past she’s responded poorly to vets and has even acted out after a visit or started pulling her hair out. I don’t know what this team dies differently but she came home happy and content even after the drugs wore off. Again when I had to get the stitches out she came home happy without any stress related behaviour. No pulling hair, no hiding, no acting out. Bc of covid I couldn’t watch them in action but my cats response says it all. They’re priced reasonably and walk you through the charges before they perform the procedures. In addition, they’ll explain the optional tests etc and the benefits of having them as well as why they technically don’t need them.

I've taken my cats 3 times here, I just recently moved vets. The third time, my older cat had a small emergency and they took him in the same day, treated him well and fed him while he was in their care. The doctor themselves followed up with a phone call the next day to see how he was doing, and I thought that was very considerate. Every time I've been there, I have been treated with respect and have had a very clear understanding of what the diagnosis is of their visit. I'd highly recommend Killarney Cat Clinic!

It was a bit different with COVID rules in that the cat had to be dropped off at the door and the vet would call you and would have a quick chat. Dr. Tiffany Lennox and the clinic's entire team have a special compassion for animals we've not been seen at other clinics. These folks truly love cats. And it really shows. They not only offer top-shelf medical care for your special kitties, they sell some pretty cool cat trees as well. Go see them. You and your babies will be glad you did. <3

Best cat vet in the city. The staff really cares and take the time to get to know you and your cat(s). They never make you feel rushed (sometimes I end up chatting in person or on the phone for several minutes). The vets are always knowledgeable and it's apparent they really love cats and working with their humans on their care. They are never pushy or try to upsell. They have toys, treats, supplements, etc., and will switch unopened food if your cat is, or becomes picky or their food needs change. I would never go elsewhere unless I was forced to. I have taken my cat for 13 years and my fiance's cat now for 2 years.

We would highly recommend Killarney Cat Hospital! Our cat is quite anxious and alert, so I was worried dropping her off and not being able to go inside with their COVID guidelines. But the staff handled her with such great care and made it a positive experience for us and our kitty! Dr. Taylor called and talked us through everything over the phone (including letting us know prices) before they did anything with our cat. So there were no surprises when it came time to pay! Definitely consider taking your cat to Killarney Cat Hospital!

I was super nervous to bring my cat in for her check up, vaccines, and microchipping, especially because due to COVID, you can't be in the clinic with your pet. The thought of handing my pet over and waiting for everything to be done was super daunting, but Dr. Shari called me within a few minutes of the handoff and put me at ease. She was super friendly (as was all the staff I dealt with) and informative, and she patiently took me through exactly what we would be doing while addressing any questions or concerns I had. The appointment itself only took 20 minutes or so, and Dr. Shari called me back and went over the check up in great detail, again, answering any questions I had. I really felt like she cared about my concerns and also about my pet, and I highly recommend the clinic! I have to also point out that I had called the clinic twice before, once to gather information, and the second time to book my appointment, and both times the person who I spoke to was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

This is the place to bring your cat(s). The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to helping cats. The doctors are wonderful; they take time to really explain what's going on and are truly wonderful with the cats. One of mine has medical issues so we see the vet more than average and the Killarney Cat Hospital team has been exceptional in helping my little guy stay healthy. On top of that, they are very active in trying to give back to the community with fundraisers for various organizations. LOVE THE KILLARNEY CAT HOSPITAL!

This clinic is great! Sometimes my cat can be pretty stubborn but they are able to work with her. I had to go to 3 different clinics to try and get blood work for my cat with no success. These guys got it on the first try!! I love that they don't take my cat into a different room to try to do any exam or blood work. Its really comforting for both me and the cats :) Great clinic all around and highly recommend bringing your kitties to them!!

We moved to Calgary a month ago from Ontario, where I worked with animal rescue. One of our members posted a few months back about a vet clinic that no longer de-claws, and it was Killarney Cat Hospital. Knowing that we would be moving, I bookmarked them as a vet to check out. One of our cats became ill and had to be seen fairly quickly. Killarney Cat Hospital fit us in within a few hours today and the care was absolutely top notch. In my work with Rescue, I have been to many vets and Dr. Bolton and her Team were awesome with Kittie...making her feel as comfortable as possible. They went above and beyond and I will definitely be bringing the rest of our Feline Family to Killarney Cat Hospital!!

They were so patient with my kitty, gave her time to warm up to the vet and the room before jumping in on the exam, and thus reduced the stress on her. Plus they are so affordable! They have great care plans available for people who need to come in more than once a year, and can spread the payments out making it so much easier for me to pay as I’m low income on AISH. The whole years care plan cost the same as 1 vet visit and shots at another vet where they just rushed through everything. Here they took time to get to the bottom of Aylas problems and the care plan includes 5 visits, bloodwork, shots, deworming and more! Highly recommend coming here!

Oh WOW, can't say enough amazzzing things about Dr. Sara Engbers, Tracy, Jayme and Terri ????! Highly Recommend!! Lexi is one of those SPCA Temperamental Torties, who it took three incredibly brave hero's (Tracy, Jayme & Terri!) to hold down while Dr. Sara took her blood, gave shots, did her overall physical! All while doing this with compassion and kindness. I kept apologizing as Lexi was biting, hissing and scratching like some jungle cat, even though she is a 19 year old Super Senior. #cattitude They were so experienced and empathetic and just giggled it off saying they all have a similar tyrant in their home. Anyway, I didn't think it was possible but i think they made her even a little more cuddly. Also No Dogs Allowed. We love dogs, but Lexi ???? does not. My fur baby Galen is a former feral who is not fond of the great outdoors, or people, or dogs, or anything but me. At Killarney Cat Hospital I dont have to worry about him being overwhelmed or scared by dogs. I can spend time just making sure he gets the best care possible and the staff is dedicated to seeing that happens. The vets we have met are so gentle and understanding of his shyness. I will keep taking him to the wonderful vets at KCH for all his needs from shots to checkups and occasionally allergy pills.

I've been taking my boy there for a number of years now, and they are always very professional, compassionate, and its very clear that they love cats there. They were able to give me great advice about boarding when I called to ask, and got me the vaccination records I needed very quickly. During Covid, they are seeing cats in isolation without owners present, but I had absolutely no concerns putting my boy in their care. The vet spoke to me before and after seeing him, and explained everything very well, and they've done a very good job of keeping track of my cat's heart murmur. I'll be happy to take my new kitten there when she's due for her first adult checkup.

Our cat dies a few years ago and we purchased a memorial piece. We since moved and recently we asked if they were able to send it in the mail. As we are about an hour drive away. They we insisted we pay for shipping which is understandable however, they then told me it was our responsibility to set up the shipment. Who had time for that? We paid a ridiculous amount for the piece and now this? It seems as though they got paid their money and so customer service and being decent are not a priority to them. I will be making the drive eventually, but will never be trusting these people with the affairs of my pets.

I have a friend going through a very hard time, and her poor boy Batman got sick. She was in a spot for sure. We brought him in for a visit and found out he was in bad shape.The poor fella had a cancerous growth on his jaw and the best thing for him was to end his suffering. Not only were the staff trying very hard to help her make it as easy financially as possible, they showed an amazing level of compassion for Batman. It is nice to have a vet that cares about your pet almost as much as you!! I definitely will be bringing my 2 furry friends here just from what I saw them do for my friend and her little fur baby. I asked if the doctor could reccomend a good dental kibble and I was offered afree bag :) And when I picked my baby up he was happy and freshly shaved. This last visit, we couldn't be with Molly for her check-up due to COVID measures, so this would be a first. Hands down, Killarney Cat Hospital is the best clinic in Calgary. They are caring, sympathetic, and thorough. They take into account your budget, along with your kitty's needs, and go above and beyond to make sure that your little ones are getting the best care possible. Often, a trip to the vet is just as stressful on you as it is the cat, and they are very reassuring to you as well! I have had to leave my little ones in their care a couple times over the course of the years, and they are always very good at keeping me updated on their status. I would never dream of bringing my kitties to anywhere else Calgary. KCH is the best!

I have brought my cat Lola (9-10 yrs) there a few times and have continually received excellent care and service. My cat was suffering from tooth resorption (cause is unknown) and needed care ASAP. I brought her in for a free dental consult with a nurse, and was extremely fortunate to learn they had an opening the next morning to take care of Lola's problem. The costs for her dental work were more affordable than a few other places I had looked into, and they treated her like gold during her procedure & post-op while I was at work. Everyone was very attentive to her. I received a free bag of dental-care food, and education on how to maintain Lola's pearly whites. I live relatively close to the hospital, but even if I move across the city I will still absolutely make the drive to ensure my cat receives this level of care. Thanks guys!!!

Could not recommend more. I have a difficult cat... Understatement of the year. Their priority is his comfort first. Its amazing how they respect him. They do what they can until he reacts and then give him time to calm down before moving forward. They even bag up puky blankets and give a pee pad replacement... Thought this was cute :)

I would highly recommend taking your cat to this 'cat only' practice. It is well worth it. Our visit was stress free; a first for us. In the past, our cat was uncontrollable when we went for checkups. Our visit to Dr. Belosowsky was a relief. We were able to do a full check up and update her vaccinations.

Great place. Staff is super friendly and helpful. A little bit higher priced than some places but not overly. I was concerned about my cats dental health and I was able to go in and have a vet tech look at her teeth and give me tips for brushing her teeth. Free of charge. They also have a great selection on cat food and toys and anything you'd need! Also nice not to have to worry about dogs being at the vet freaking my cats out.

After taking my old man to a different vet, I received conflicting and inconsistent information. I brought him in to KCH for a second opinion and was very pleased despite not actually getting to go in with him. Dr Shari spent a large amount of time on the phone with me, making sure I understood and discussing treatment options. Granted, the Furr Factory has a lot going on, I never felt rushed or pressured to just do a she said. My Ginga Ninja will have to adapt to some new things and medications but I am so very appreciative to know that we will be helped by a kind team...from the front office to the DVMs.

Even though the Killarney Cat Hospital was booked for the next two weeks, when I explained that my 15-1/2 year old cat was having trouble in the litter box, she was seen immediately. Testing was done and I picked her up three hours later, with a diagnosis and medication to make her better. My phone chats with the veterinarian were detailed and she explained everything to me. The Killarney Cat Hospital staff are the best!

All the staff members are caring and they go above and beyond. They are very informative in keeping our fur babies healthy. They also have a app called pet page which helps you track future appointments, needed vaccinations etc.

I found KCH 15 years ago when I had a difficult cat with a major attitude. She didn't like people (other than me) and had a previous vet that recommended she be put down. When I contact KCH and described my cat, they accepted her with no judgement and treated her with kindness. Since then, my cats only go to KCH. I adopted two adorable kitties through them and while they are a little stressed going in to an appointment, the staff keeps them calm and when we leave, they are calmer than going in. Wonderful staff and Vets, very caring and great follow up on ongoing health issues. I recommend KCH to any other cat owners I know when the topic comes up. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic!

Killarney cat hospital team has been amazing to our kitten and kind to us in a difficult time. We had been going around to different vets( even emergency) to figure out what was wrong with her and weren't getting any clear answers. Dr Tayler was very knowledgeable and with some tests helped us figure out her illness. Unfortunately the illness was fatal (FIPV) but at least we got some answers. I highly recommend them!

I took my two furballs to Killarney Cat Hospital for their first shots. I swear I was probably more stressed out on the drive over than they were. With Covid protocols in place, I was met at the front door, and handed them over. Even so, the whole process felt very welcoming. The vet talked to me over the phone, explained what they would do at this appointment, and answered all of my questions. When all was said and done, my two kittens and I had a warm, friendly and professional experience. I would recommend this place to anyone with cats/kittens. We will be back. :)

I've been taking my cats to the Killarney Cat Hospital for over 12 years now, mostly on an annual basis. During that time, I've dealt many times with each veterinarian and have been impressed by their knowledge and skill. Sadly, Dr. Kean is moving to Saskatchewan soon but will be replaced, I'm sure, by a very competent vet. It's wonderful to have a practise that specializes in feline health and delivers such excellent care. As well, the clinic is staffed by genuinely kind and caring peopIe. I remember the day that Flora, one of the technicians, dashed outside to rescue a cat that had escaped from it's crate just a few feet outside the clinic entrance. Without any hesitation, Flora crawled under a nearby car in search of the cat. Eventually, she plucked the cat out from under the car's hood and held it tightly despite the fact that the terrified animal struggled violently and bit her quite severely. She didn't let go! I'll never forget that event. To me, it typifies the dedication of everyone at the clinic. I highly recommend the Killarney Cat Hospital.

Since I've moved to Calgary 3 years ago this clinic has been my go to for my cat children. I like that it is a cat only clinic, so you know that everyone on staff are fellow cat lovers and value your pet the same way you do. The environment is great for cats with feliway diffusers to destress, big windows to preoccupy your pet with views to the outside world, and catnip on hand for an always welcome distraction. Dr.Taylor (Dr.B) has been a wonderful addition to the team and is truly amazing at her job. You can tell she cares for the wellbeing of her feline patients and is always so patient with my worried cat Mom rambles. She truly listens to you and provides you with kind honest opinions helping you form the best possible treatment plan for your kitty. As someone who doesn't have a ton if expendable income, she has been so great when it comes to helping narrow down possible testing costs by discussing all of your options based on your cats symptoms. The support she gave both myself and my 17 yr old boy in the last year of his life meant more than she could ever know. KCH provided a comfortable room setting for his final moments, and the entire staff were just so incredibly kind and sympathetic. I was able to say goodbye to my Cedric sitting on a couch holding him in my arms, and that is a memory I will always always be grateful to them for.

I am a cat foster and have been to vet clinics all around the city. I recently adopted 2 cats that I fostered and took them into Killarney Cat Hospital. Wow! I cannot recommend this place enough if you have cats. Dr. Lennox was amazing, as were the front reception ladies that I dealt with. What an easy, knowledgable, comforting experience. All three of my cats go to Killarney cat hospital, Nixon emi and James. I was really pleased with service and accommodation until they insisted after two follow ups that my cat (James) was going to get at least three of his tooth removed. Two weeks later, we did the blood work, anaesthesia etc only to come out with a 1300 dollar bill and no extractions. Will probably move all my three cats to a different clinic when It becomes convenient to do so.

Very, very professional. We have found the wellness plan to be worthwhile, and it is paired with a vetrinary team that really cares, communicates with us, and is experienced and knowledgeable. Killarney Cat Hospital has helped us immensely with keeping our little fella healthy and on track, even as he is getting older. There is some cost to keeping an aging cat in good health, but at least here it is money very well spent.
