My poor lil girl was so ill. They got her in when the pet emergency wouldn't . Test were done, answers were found, all within 40 min. They had the meds right there, didn't have to go to a pharmacy... just no hassels whatsoever! A little more costly, but when your pets life is on the line....a few extra dollars when you are going to be paying anyway, is a kind of assurance they will do their best. Love them!!

Dr. Gibson and Dr. McFarlane are knowledgeable and compassionate in all aspects of the care they have provided for our two small dogs. The staff are always approachable and willing to help with questions and they make each experience a comfortable one. I've never left "ripped off" or having paid for things I shouldn't have been charged for and they always are willing to provide a breakdown invoice of the charges each visit. Most importantly, I can tell that both doctors are passionate about what they do in the way they have handled and interacted with our pets. Definitely recommend taking your fur-babies here.

I've had a good experience with both my cat being treated for bowel problems and with the quiet and dignified euthanasia of my dog. Staff are kind and knowledgable. I would highly reccomend bringing your pet here.

The staff did not provide me with any usedul information regarding my cobcerns and where very quick to sell me products I did not require. The vet stays in the back, hardly talks to you and is not easy to understand as english is not his first language. After visiting this vet 3 times eith nothing good coming of it, I researched some stuff on the Internet which was much more helpful. I eould not recommend anyone to go to this place.

I would give 5 stars because the staff and the vet were phenomenal. He didn’t judge my feeding a raw diet to my dog, in fact he gave me more pointers and knowledge! He was so great with them and my dog came back from his X-ray wagging his tail and happier than ever! The price however, WOAH, not what I expected!! Prices are outrageous, but knowing what storefront overhead costs are on the west side, it makes sense. Just have a heads up before you decide to go with this one, that it WILL cost you, but you will LOVE the service your pet gets.

Everyone here is so friendly...to both me and my animals. I love that the vets get right down to the floor and cuddle with my dogs before examining them. I think it really bumps up the trust level and they never appear stressed during the visit.

Sent my 6 month old cat in to be spayed this week, the staff took amazing care of her. They were all very respectful and informative, answered all my many questions very reassuringly. Even provided me with an entire bag of cat food for oral care (!) when I was only expecting a small sample! Gave me an update exactly when they said they would. Amazing job on the surgery, one of the smallest incision I have ever seen. Would definitely recommend.

We recently had to say goodbye to our dog. Dr. Gibson and team were absolutely fantastic in making the whole experience as great as possible. They are so compassionate and provide the best care for your pet and you. We can never thank you enough.

Just paid over $500 for tests and clinic visit for our dog and was given a cup to collect a sample in 14 days after her medication was done. I was told there would not be a charge for this test but when we dropped off the sample we were charged again. I don't think I can afford this clinic any longer. Dr. McFarlane was our vet for many years and would not have charged us for the test. I really like Dr. Cozens but don't think we can afford to continue with this clinic.

We have been a client of Highlands Pet Hospital for 18 years with two dogs and two cats.... always have been impressed with the knowledge and integrity of this clinic, but more importantly Dr. Gibson and all the techs and admin staff are super compassionate people who are ready to handle every stage of your pets life and help guide you through it. Having a pet brings many joys and also sadness and this is a top notch pet hospital who is there for you and your fur babies.

This place has nice staff but is way too expensive. The cat ranch is far cheaper and its staff is friendly. I definitely reccomend this place for a emergency but that's about it

The vet himself was wonderful. Very caring, competant and compasionate. I can not say the same for his receptionist though. I found her quite rude, no compassion at all and were way off with their estimates. It ended up costing me almost double what I was estimated and on top of that, they didnt even make my first appointment, so we had to wait longer which was very frustrating. Shame his staff let him down.

Dr. Rod McFarlane at Highlands Pet Hospital is amazing. I had to take my dwarf mountain horne lizard for a check up and he so patiently let my daughter do the assessment with him. He was so thorough, kind, and informative. I learned so much about my reptile and didn't leave with an atrocious bill. I really appreciated that he knows so much about reptiles and their care. I feel so much better equipped to provide my lizard with a home to thrive. I highly recommend this clinic. ♡
